HOUSE OF WRESTLING
Presents
Presents
October 21st, 2022
LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena
We open in the backstage area of the MGM Grand Garden Arena. We’re taken inside the locker room of the Queens of Chaos, with the now quintet of members in the House of Wrestling leg of the faction preparing for their respective matches, a QoC banner waving behind them.
Jessi Ozborne: Big night tonight, huh? Foundations episode number ten! It’s a milestone moment, though not for the reason but would have you believe. See…it’s a milestone night because, after ten episodes on the air, they finally figured out how to make this show worth watching. And it’s about damn time. All five of us have some pretty huge opportunities tonight. Almost every other match on this show has one of us in it. And while you all may see that as progression, I only see it as a given. The Queens of Chaos are a force in this business, that’s something that everyone with even half a brain cell knows. I’m just glad Bashy Boy got with the program.
Jewel took the microphone from Jessi. She was all decked out in leather, it showcased her greatest assets, plus sunglasses covered her eyes.
Jewel Chayse:"I think it's safe to say that this, Pure Heart Tournament? It belongs to us. Because we're coming for everything. This is our QueenDom and we invite you to play with us and get destroyed. It starts with Faithe, Bending The Knee tonight to me."
Kaya steals the microphone from over the shoulder of Jewel. She winks at her as she laughed, and then Kaya looked over at Lilith who was now resting upon her shoulder. She looked out at the crowd rolling her eyes behind her aviators. She takes them off, then hands them to Lilith as she looked out to the crowd.
Kaya Parker: I did what I sent out to do last week, which was to put those wanna be pretenders on notice. See I pinned ½ of the current World Tag Team Champions, and now… This week we take those tag team titles away from them. Proving that if we were in that ladder match a few weeks back, those tag titles would have been in the right homes in the first place. I agree with my bestie though, it is a momentous night, House of Wrestling has made #10, and that is a milestone. Some places don't even last that long, when they do they innovate so here’s to the next ten, and watching the Queen’s reign.
Kaya passes the microphone off to Lilith who hands her sister’s sunglasses back to her. Kaya puts her sunglasses back on then takes Lilith’s from her. Lilith the goes and sits on the outside of the ropes, with her back to her sister and her friends looking at the crowd.
Lilith Parker: Tonight, fans of House of Wrestling. The hostile takeover begins, with Me and Kay taking the tag team titles away from the lost boys. With that then it begins the fun, see Kaya and I will not allow anyone else to take the tag titles from us, unless we decide to give them up. Things fall into place for a reason, and don’t worry the lost, you may have been found, but now your just going to go back to the bushes or whatever hole you crawled out of. Courtesy of Kaya and Lilith Parker.
Lilith takes her sunglasses from Kaya putting the mic out. Seeing her fellow queens speak out with such ease, such confidence, led the newer member CJ Bradley to step up next.
CJ Bradley: Title glory on the verge of being achieved, main event status set to once again be validated and the tournament on lock. The queens you’ve had the privilege of hearing from have all given you a taste of the future. One you can either accept now or learn to live with in a short time. Now when it comes to me, you must be wondering what role I play in all this. A rookie making her debut in what will clearly be a competitive showcase. What does she have to offer that’s not already being taken? I’ll be kind this one time and point it out for you all. I am proof of the truth you refuse to accept. The proof that this isn’t a fly by the night group that is done in the morning. That the Queens of Chaos aren’t this poisonous parade. It’s about those who didn’t have the opportunity, taking it for themselves with hard work while at the same time giving it to those they see struggling in the same way. I know I’m fighting an uphill battle from at least one party involved in my match and I know that most likely, with these kinds of matches, that it may not be a matter of what I did but the failure of another that leads to the decision. Tonight for me? For us, it’s all about showing you what you’re in for and just like the rest of these talented Queens, I’ll be leaving a lasting impression.
Jessi Ozborne: And that brings us to the main event, with me front and center as I should be. I stand across the ring from Carina Vegas, an air-headed bimbo who talks a lot of shit, but the last time she was faced with us, she ran. Now, she can say that she got fed up with her partners. She can say that she only lost because her team was holding her down. Those are excuses, and excuses are like assholes: Everyone’s got one and they’re all full of shit. I don’t get by on excuses, which why it’s gonna be oh-so-fuckin GRATIFYING when I pin your shoulders to the mat 1-2-3, with you only being left clutching onto excuse you don’t have.
On top of that, I get the head honcho herself watching. The Grand Champion, Alex Andrews. She’s at the mountaintop for a reason. She scratched and clawed her way to that peak. She became a sensation around these parts practically overnight. And all that would be admirable…if it were the real reason she made it. But no, in reality, she made it this far along for one simple reason: Jessi Ozborne wasn’t here yet. Now she is. And tonight she’s gonna earn her shot at making sure House of Wrestling has the real main attraction at the top. And when poor Alex is sobbing at the fact that I made all that scratching and clawing null and void, she can at least look up and see a real main eventer doing her old baby justice.
I said it before and I’ll say it again–this House of Wrestling is about to become our Queendom. Get used to this sight, because we don’t plan on changing any time soon. I said earlier that this was a milestone night, because from this night going forwards you’re finally gonna have some real idols around her to look up to. You’re. FUCKING. Welcome. Now get this motherfucker outta here.
Just then, the Parker Sisters move from their spots, rushing the cameraman out of the locker room as we fade.
The scene opens with The Lost Girl, Noa Skye outside, she was extra extra hyped. Alongside her, fellow Lost Girl, Kore Violet. Who was standing in as her interviewer.
KORE VIOLET: Hello, friends. It's me, your friendly neighborhood Lost Girl, Kore Violet. Just doing the Demons work.
Kore made a disgusted face yet happy face. She looked over at her best friend, Noa Skye.
KORE VIOLET: "Hello, my darlin' green haired doll? Tonight, you face that weirdo rocker box headed douchebag, Kelly Taylor? Which you've already slayed and sent back to hell and repeat repeat repeat. How do you feel about this? Are you dying inside? Or on the outside? How does the Midnight Club feel about this?
Kore laughed. But regained herself upon Noa nudging her and pulling a switchblade and started twirling it around. Kore looked at her slightly amused.
NOA SKYE:"I'm truly dying on the inside, yet happy on the outside. It's always nice to slay a person twice. It's always nice to prove them wrong."
Kore laughed, she shrugged a bit. Those red lips turned into an evil smirk.
KORE VIOLET: "It's really cute, he might still be bitter about that little mishap. The flyin' girlfriend, wrong place wrong time. There's no place like home, there's no place like home."
Kore laughed, she was having a good time doing this. Noa tilted her head to the side.
Noa Skye: "Such a mishap, lack of teamwork, lack of communication. No miscommunication tonight, just you me and Liam, one ring. One ring to rule them all. My ring to rule. My ring to slay. My ring to paint."
KORE VIOLET: "Poor, poor Liam. Wrong place, wrong time. Just a passer byer, just a flower growing in the wrong garden. Wrong place. Wrong time. Innocent little Liam."
NOA SKYE:"Just another Demon, he's waiting to be slayed and sent back to hell. Sent back to the bottom. Everyone will see, everyone will know. The Midnight Demon Club is open for business, the misery business. We welcome everyone, anything, we don't discriminate. We're coming for everything, we're coming for that top spot. You will all bleed shades of green and black soon."
Noa laughed, she stabbed the switchblade into the wall.
KORE VIOLET: "Ouch. What is dead, may never die. Ladies and Gentlemen. I can't wait for tonight, I can't wait to see the demon slayer in action. It's going to be unbelievable, it's going to be chaos. Oh and the destruction, I'm jumping for joy over here.".
Kore smirked. Noa kicked over the camera, you could only see two shadows skipping off in the distance
The scene opens up backstage for a special photoshoot for the Sports Illustrated cover for HOW Wrestling, the one that was supposed to go to Davina King, but the woman who stole it is front and center, none other than The First Lady of HOW Veronica Taylor. On a Halloween theme set where Veronica Taylor is dressed in a revealing black dress, and black high heel pumps; she has a bright smug smile as the flashbulbs hit as she is enjoying the spotlight. As she soon notices someone in her spot as she looks at them, and yells pointing at them.
Veronica Taylor: Look why are you in my spotlight, can you get out of it? I hope those shots weren't ruined!
Veronica said in a bitchy tone as the man moves back after doing what he needed to do quickly as the photographer chimed up.
Photographer: No, it is fabulous shots, trust me on it. They will be marvelous darling.
Veronica Taylor: Duh I am Veronica Freakin Taylor.
A few more shots are taken as Veronica poses for each shot like the professional supermodel she was. After a last shot, soon someone walks in on the set, but this time Veronica has a big smile on her face.
Bash Blackstone: Well, if it isn’t the Superstarlet herself! Looking as magnificent as ever!
The CEO of House of Wrestling, Bash Blackstone, walks in wearing his usual dark colored suit, and his hair coiffed like always. He, too, had a big smile on his face when walking in and seeing Veronica. He bent down and gave her a hug.
Bash Blackstone: Now I hope you nobody has been giving you any trouble over this. You are the rightful cover model of our HoW piece. I know there’s been some sort of uproar online with the fans, but that’s neither here nor there, because I could care less. The fans don’t know what they want, and they surely wouldn’t know talent if it was staring them in the eyes…
He chuckled to himself.
Bash Blackstone: Luckily for them, talent will be looking at them from the cover!
Veronica smiled smugly as she said with a huge smile on her face.
Veronica Taylor: Talent, beauty, grace, and class all of it! They are so lucky to have me I mean I made the cover so much better than it would of. At the end of it they will thank me, just like later tonight when I deal with Davina once and for all.
Veronica let out a chuckle, as she looked over her shoulder with a smile.
Veronica Taylor: Not at all, why would they do that? I am the star of the show darling.
Bash Blackstone: I’m just hoping Davina steps back in line after tonight. This handicap match should teach her a lesson.
He looks in on the photos that have been taken, shuffling through the different poses.
Bash Blackstone: Oh perfect! These are so perfect that they should just write the entire magazine on you, Miss Taylor. They want entertainment, you got it!
Veronica smiled brightly as she nodded her head.
Veronica Taylor: Oh yes tonight she learns a valuable lesson and that is she is not Veronica Taylor no one is. The brightest lights belong on me, and the sooner she accepts that the better off she will be. Darcy, should be so honored to be teaming with me in this match.
Veronica said with a huge smirk.
Veronica Taylor: They should do the next issue to me quite frankly, I mean who wouldn’t want to learn more about the leading lady of HOW.
Bash Blackstone: What a grand idea! I think I’ll call up the editors now.
He quickly whipped out his phone, beginning to type in the numbers.
Bash Blackstone: Also, I was wondering what you thought about me escorting you to the ring tonight. Now that I won’t be on the commentary team, I’ll be free to do so…
He pushes SEND on his phone, before holding it up to his ear, not allowing Veronica to answer. He walks away a second later, supposedly to call the magazine. Veronica has a mixed reaction, but ultimately a delish smile on her face as the scene comes to an end.
The cameras move backstage where we see Chris Night doing pushups in his locker room. He's counting out loud with each push down and then back up.
Chris Night: 49.....
He pushes down and before he can push back up, a black and white marble styled Nike appears on his back as a giggle is heard.
Gloria Ramirez: Can you finish and get to 50? I don't know, Chris.
Night takes the challenge and uses all his strength to push up for the 50th time, even wtih Gloria's shoe on his back. As he gets the pushup done, she pulls her foot away and claps as Night collapses to the floor and lays there as they share a laugh.
Gloria Ramirez: Don't even try it. I know you're just getting started. Lemme help you up.
Chris rolls over to his back as Gloria sticks a hand out and helps him to his feet. He wipes a bit of sweat off as Gloria pats his back.
Gloria Ramirez: Okay mister keyholder, I see you. You ready for this tag match?
Chris’ brow furrows.
Chris Night: Am I ready?
He lets out a light laugh.
Chris Night: I think you know the answer to that. The real question is, are Greyson Blackheart and Siren ready for us? Because to be quite honest? I don’t think they are. Our chemistry in and out of the ring is on point.
Gloria Ramirez: Out of the ring? You better slow down. I mean, not that you're wrong, but I'm sayin I don't think the fans are here for all that!
Gloria laughs and it was clear that with both matches she's wrestled in HOW, she was gaining more confidence and building upon her reputation as the 'Submission Queen', pulling off Submissions in the Keys match and her solo debut match.
Gloria Ramirez: I'm not knockin' Grey or Siren, but I'm feelin' it lately. These fans have been incredible, yo. They've embraced me, and Nightfall, and I feel like tonight, we can make a huge statement in this match. There's nobody else I'd feel more confident teaming with. It's like this, we have it all covered. We can twist them into submission, we can fly, we can work the mat, and as talented as they are, I'm feeling good. You saw the work I put in earlier.
Chris Night: I did see it.
He places an arm around Gloria’s shoulder and pulls her in.
Chris Night: You all see this woman? Keep your eyes on her because she’s the future of this place. I can say that because I’ve seen it for myself. Nobody works harder than Glo and nobody is a technically proficient as she is in the ring. You make one wrong move and BAM! She has you tapping out. So keep on watching and see what she does tonight. It’s just getting started.
He lets out a light laugh.
Chris Night: I almost feel bad for our opponents. You’re going to turn them into pretzels.
Gloria blushes a bit. The truth was, she has been working super hard. Between training CJ for the Academy, running her regular daily classes at Nightfall, and putting her own focus on herself for her HOW matches, Gloria was a workhorse. To hear Chris praise her in front of the world meant a ton.
Gloria Ramirez: I appreciate that, thank you. Seriously, but hey, I can't have them tapping if you flatten them by jumping off the top rope can I?
The pair smile at each other, and seem lost in each other's eyes for a moment before refocusing.
Gloria Ramirez: Real talk though, I know if I get in trouble out there, you've got my back, and you know if you get in trouble, I'm right there. To me, that's what tag matches are all about. Trusting your partner to do whats best for the team, not just themselves. There isn't any ego between us. I'd be just as happy snatching that win after one of your moves, just like I know if I do go all pretzel happy with our opponents, you'll feel the same. At the end of the day it's about a tag team W, and I feel like we're going to really make a case for the team to watch tonight.
Night nods and points to the camera.
Chris Night: Exactly! There’s no egos here, no one trying to one up each other. This team? You and me? It’s all about respect. We admire each other and heck, we even love each other. There’s nothing that can break those bonds. Tonight? House of Wrestling will see that the combination of Chris Night and Gloria Ramirez is one that’s completely unstoppable.
Gloria Ramirez: Completely Unstoppable? You know that's got a lil bit of a ring to it. Might have to market that, but first, we gotta prove that we can live up to the name.
Gloria looks directly into the camera now.
Gloria Ramirez: Siren, Greyson, I know you two probably want this as bad as we do, so lets go out there and leave the fans talking for the rest of the week.
She looks back at Chris and Night playfully puts a hand up over the camera while telling them that he has to get his girl right for the fight. He tells the camera he'll catch up with them later as we fade out of the Nightfall locker room.
We open on the beautiful face of Carina Vega, covered in highlight.
Carina Vega: Tonight I have the opportunity to become the number one contender to the Grand Championship...finally my chance to face Alex Andrews and take what should've been mine from the start.
The vision seems to flip, but that's not it. We're suddenly realizing that Carina has been looking at the camera lens through a mirror. As the scene gets slightly wider, Vega turns to face us.
Carina Vega: The thing is, I can't rightly understand why I'm having to face Jessi Ozborne for the number one contendership! First and foremost, I've been here and I've been kicking ass and taking names. Two weeks ago, Davina King was given a Grand Championship shot, and if you want to be technical about it, I beat Davina at Home Invasion. Sure, it may have been by disqualification, but the records will show I won. Then she gets a title shot and I have to fight for one? Ridiculous!
She rolls her eyes, running her right hand through her hair.
Carina Vega: Not to mention Jessi doesn't deserve this one bit. She tried getting her shot in the Keys to the House match which she didn't succeed in. Besides that she's only been in one match that was with her little group of galpals. She's never even had a singles win within these walls and you're telling me she's earned her chance to be in this match? Ridiculous!
Another roll of the eyes.
Carina Vega: Jessi and the Queens. I can understand your drive and determination, and I can even understand the Queen of it all, but what I don't understand is you all wanting to get in my way. You like to talk your talk on twiter, but can any of you back it up? Only time tells just how lasting things will be, and I can't wait to see if you galpals last at all. Two weeks ago, you didn't beat me. You beat The Lost. Once I realized what a LOST cause that was, I made sure I wasn't there to witness the end. Tonight is going to be much different. There's no Lost, there's no Chaos, just you and I, Jessi. Stay wanting what you can't have, Jessi.
She turns back to looking at herself in the mirror before the scene fades.
Chris and Gloria have their hands raised inside the ring, before making their way to the back. The fans are still cheering for them, when they notice that inside the ring, Greyson Blackheart is getting to his feet. He makes it to his knees just as Siren enters the ring with Sierra Rot. Both Siren and Sierra look beyond angered, and have all their attention focusing on Greyson. Blackheart looks up at them.
Sierra reaches down, placing her palm over Greyson's forehead and outstretching it as far as it would go. Greyson's eyes looks like they are rolling in the back of his head or something, and the lights begin to switch on and off.
Suddenly the lights go out completely, and when they come back on a few seconds later, all three of them are nowhere to be seen. Completely vanished. At commentary, Ellie is a little freaked out, looking every which way around the arena, as we leave the House of Wrestling audience in confusion.
We cut to Holden in the back. He is standing with several other men, and a woman, all wearing ski masks, white shirts and jeans. Holden, for his part, is in a pair of black Dickies and a House of Wrestling hoodie. The Violent Championship is slung over his left shoulder. He steps forward to separate himself from his followers.
Holden: Tonight, Dylan Shepherd will try and take this strap from me. He’s gonna try and try and fail, even with a ring surrounded by “lumberjacks.” I will be the most dominant, and destructive, Champion in the History of this company. Your smart ass comments and stupid fucking jokes won’t help you. Like I told you before; you’re in over your head and there’s nothing you can do to beat me.
As the camera fades out, Holden turns his attention back to his masked followers.
Myra Rivers is backstage and she is holding her white key in her hand. She’s in her typical no-nonsense mood and it comes to no surprise at all that she’s got plenty on her mind. Once the camera comes on her, she wastes absolutely no time expressing her thoughts.
Myra Rivers: As good as it felt to have my revenge on Diaz a couple of weeks ago, I know that the mission is far from over. I hate to admit that the person in charge has his favorites… or at the very least a ‘preferred type’, if you know what I mean considering that he’s catering to the likes of Bianca Page and Veronica Taylor, but that’s exactly what it looks like. I showed two weeks ago when I got Diaz in that ring and when I beat him, that I was done with the games and that I was done with the nonsense and that’s something that I am really going to make even clearer tonight for those of you in the back that still don’t get it. You see, the Civil Championship that I won the right to challenge for again is going to be on the line tonight. Bianca Page is going to be defending the title against Frankie Fontaine. I don’t have a damn thing against Frankie. I don’t know him, honestly. But I will say something and this is, by no means, any sort of disrespect intended toward Frankie, but I would much rather challenge Bianca.
If I am to become the Civil Champion, that’s who I have to beat because she’s the one that I’ve had the issues with for what seems like an eternity now. She can’t beat me without a special referee in her back pocket. She can’t beat me without any other obstacles in the way. This is something that she has proven TWICE already… and before she predictably says it on Twitter… because the shallow types like her that never grow up beyond high school are SO predictable… there’s no “excuse” there. I’ve yet to even get a true, honest and FAIR one on one match for the Civil Championship. You already know how sick and tired I am of all the BULLSHIT “princess is in another castle” moments where obstacle after obstacle that I don’t need, or obviously want, continues to be thrown my way. I’m starting to get sick of the man in charge having his ‘preferences’.
I guess being a size zero with an IQ of zero is his type, huh?
Myra rolls her eyes, showing that she has definitely had her fair share of encounters with the ‘dumb blonde’ or the ‘shallow model’ stereotype over her career long before she ever met Bianca Page or Veronica Taylor.
Myra Rivers: Don’t get it ‘WRONG’, Bianca. Saying that I would much rather win the title from you is not a compliment that someone with an IQ of zero… like yourself… might interpret it as because it is far from a compliment. As a matter of fact, people like you are people I rarely give the time of day to in this business not because of ability, mind you, but because… well… at the risk of sounding like someone that’s ‘too old for this shit’, people like you are a dime a dozen no different than the last blonde, shallow bitch that thought she was entitled to everything because she’s supposedly rich and/or famous and may or may not have their father in their back pocket. I’ve grown beyond dealing with people like you and many, MANY years ago when I first broke into this business, I grew up beyond BEING someone like you. I’ve had it with you. Hell, I’ve had it with all the preferential treatment that you get. I mean for crying out loud, I thought I was DONE being on the wrong end of preferential treatment in a promotion based in Vegas when I made my career change earlier this year…
I’m done playing kid games, Bianca. Whether you like it or not, the day will come when it’s you and me one on one the way it should be. There will come a time where you can’t run away from me and where you can’t hide behind a special referee or someone in charge of things. And when that time comes, you bet your ass you’re going to get a LONG overdue dosage of humility, something that you have ALWAYS needed. You can’t be a coward forever, Bianca…
Myra leaves the scene, still holding her White Key and showing exactly how fed up she’s becoming with everything as the scene cuts out.
Yahamamoto is standing in the backstage interview area when “Classy” Bianca Page walks up to him and she shoos him away. After Yahamamoto leaves Bianca looks toward the camera.
“Classy” Bianca Page:Not shocking that another pretender is gunning for my championship and what will be even less shocking than that I will send Frankie away without laying one of her fingers on my Civil Championship. Obviously this is nothing personal but just business because this championship is MY business. And I will send you away just like I sent poor old Yahamamoto away so you are in good company, girl.
Bianca cracks a smile.
“Classy” Bianca Page:As I am focused on my upcoming title defense I would be foolish to forget about my leech who has hitched herself to my star power. Of course I am talking about the White Key holder, Myra Rivers. Girl, enjoy this time will you can because when you foolishly come at me for MY title you will lose and you will lose your relevancy because you will have no excuse for failing to beat me once again. Because as we all know you truly are a nobody. Which is why the likes of Darcy, veronica, and I will continue to reign supreme over HOW.
Mikey Svarro: Frankie WhoNow? The hell is this?
We open on the all too familiar voice of the former Grand Chamion, Mikey Svarro. We haven't heard from him since Home Invasion, but here he is backstage at Foundations X like nothing has happened, despite being toppled by Alex Andrews yet again.
Bash Blackstone: Can I help you, Mikey?
We're in the office of Bash Blackstone, which Mikey has invited himself to, of course.
Mikey Svarro: Yeah, I wanna know when you started giving out title shots to anyone and why the hell wasn't I the first person you came to with one.
Bash Blackstone: Oh, were you interested in the Civil Championship?
There's a pause from Mikey as he looks around the office. He turns to face Bash.
Mikey Svarro: That's not the point, SEBASTIAN!
Bash Blackstone: What is your point then, Mikey? Frankie earned their spot in the World Tag Team Championship match at Home Invasion but they were unable to compete. It was only fair that they be compensated in some way. On the other hand, you've had your rematch that you were owed and you lost.
Mikey gets very quiet and squints his eyes towards Bash.
Mikey Svarro: You know what Bash, I don't like the way you're talking to your greatest Grand Champion! You don't want an enemy like me, Bash, that's for sure. Let's hope this Fontaine person can put asses in the seats the way I can, because from what I've seen, these newcomers ain't shit! The next time you see me, you better have a better attitude...
Svarro storms out, leaving Bash with an arched eyebrow, unsure of what really happened.
Yahamamoto: Davina! Davina!
Our number one backstage reporter, Yahamamoto, rushes backstage just as he sees Davina King. She's rolling her gym bag into the parking lot, looking as if she was leaving early for the night. She turns and sees Yaha running for her, and she obviously doesn't feel it. However, because she's a nice gal, she waits at the door to the parking lot.
Yahamamoto: Davina! I wanted to ask you about your thoughts on tonight!
He puts the microphone up to her mouth, and she thinks about it for a moment, looking off to the corner. She takes a few seconds actually before finally answering.
Davina King: I'm sorry, I'm going to need some time to process this. It's one thing to do me dirty, I can take care of myself. But to do my fans dirty, that's somethin' else...
She shakes her head, clearly disappointed, and walks away into the parking lot.
The referee raises Jessi's arm in victory, and her gaze immediately goes to Alex Andrews at ringside. Alex is standing and clapping for her number one contender, a hard fought match that she won fair and square. Jessi is pointing at Alex, saying a bunch of stuff in the heat of the moment that the camera can't pick up. Down at the commentary table, Alex doesn't say anything back, but simply looks back at Jessi before raising the Grand Championship in the air. Alex points to Jessi, then to herself. The crowd cheers!
Ozborne nods her head up and down, pointing to the title before motioning for it around her waist. This is the last shot we see before Foundations X goes off the air.
Match One PURE of Heart Tournament Block B1: Diaz the Dastard vs Savannah Sunshine Diaz looks like he's out for blood as he makes his way down to the ring, contrasted heavily by the bright smile of Savannah. The bell rings and the two couldn't be further from each other. Diaz tries many underhanded tactics, as Savannah pushes to stay within the pure rules. Diaz receives two warnings and almost gets himself disqualified. He even takes off the pad to the turnbuckle but the referee sees him to do. He probably should've just declared him disqualified but he put the pad back on and continued. Diaz argues with the ref, giving Sav time to rush forward with a high dropkick that sends Diaz into the corner. Sunshine runs across the ring, and then rushes back to strike with a face wash, catching Diaz across the face. He stays leaning in the corner though, and Savannah uses her strength to lift him to the second rope. Once there, she uses the height he now has on her to lift Diaz up and over for a high impact norther lights suplex! Sav goes for a pin, but Diaz is able to kick out. He's shocked she is doing so well, as he arches his back. He pretends to be injured somehow, forcing Savannah to back off because she's such an understanding person. Naturally, Diaz is taking advantage of her and trying to trick her. With Sunshine now on the other side of the ring, Diaz kicks off into a back handspring that ends with a float-over DDT! It catches Savannah off guard and gives the crowd a little something to cheer for. Of course they're not going to cheer for Diaz though. He tries to get a pin on Savannah, but she powers out. While Savannah is still on the mat, Diaz reaches down and puts her in a hammerlock. Sav yells out in pain as he applies even more pressure. Diaz lifts her up, spinning her around into what looks to be a modified sideslam. But she reverses it, crashing down to the mat with a facebuster to Diaz! Diaz tries to pop up as quickly as possible, but Sunshine is there to meet him with the Sugar Rush (Rolling Calf Kick)! She tries for another pin but Diaz is barely able to get his shoulder up at the final milisecond! The House crowd boos loudly, telling us that they want to see Savannah advance! When they get to their feet again, Diaz goes for a roundhouse and Savannah ducks! She ends up behind him, taking advantage by tucking his left arm into a chickenwing. He backs her up into the corner, and in return she jumps to the second rope and leaps into a flying leg lariat! On the ground she moves at lightening speed and locks in the Root Canal (Scissored Armbar Crossface)! Diaz doesn't tap at first, but moves around all crazy! It isn't until Savannah begins the scissor maneuver that Diaz is forced to tap, and Sunshine moves on to the next round. WINNERS Savannah Sunshine FINISHING MOVE Root Canal (Scissored Armbar Crossface) |
Match Two PURE of Heart Tournament Block B2: Jewel Chayse vs FAITHE The two make their way out to the ring and they are notably not with any of their crew. By the rules of the match, it seems they don't want to be tempted. However, Faithe holds a hand to her shoulder, showing she's still a little busted up from earlier in the show. The first part of the match has them going for multiple tie ups, and slipping out, only to do the same thing again. Naturally, Chayse is trying to capitalize on that hurt shoulder, but Faithe is doing a good job of putting her good shoulder towards Jewel. Faithe does eventually get caught as she goes for a spinning backfist. Jewel catches her arm, immediately going in for an armtwist before lifting her up for a back suplex right on her twisted arm and hurt shoulder. Jewel holds on though, twisting her hips and keeping hold of Faithe as she stands back onto her feet for another back suplex. This one she holds in a bridged position, but Faithe kicks out! Getting to her feet, Jewel launches into a series of arm drags, before a third and final one that keeps Faithe seated. Jewel twists her arm again, making sure to apply pressure to her shoulder. Chayse gives her a hard chop her into her shoulder blade. Once released, Jewel lets off a kick to Faithe's shoulder that echoes up into the nosebleeds! Chayse again grabs Jewel into an arm twist, dragging her to her feet. However, this time Faithe blasts her in the face with a back elbow! Turning around, she headbutts Jewel right in the forehead. Jewel takes a knee to the face, before Faithe lifts her up onto her shoulders, clearly looking for the Fever Dream Street (Phantom Driver)! But Faithe is having trouble keeping Jewel up, and has dipped to one side due to her hurt shoulder. This allows Jewel to slip off Faithe's shoulder altogether, before giving her a backstabber that is more focused on her upper back than anything. There's a shot to the backstage as both the Nightfall Crew and the Queens of Chaos watch on separate monitors. Jewel slowly walks up to where Faithe has been on the floor, which is when Faithe springs into action. She drags Chayse to the canvas, locking in a single leg boston crab. She reels back on it, making Jewel yell out in pain. She reaches with all her might to the ropes, and is finally able to grab the bottom one, forcing Faithe to release her. Faithe follows up by dragging her upwards. Jewel battles back with open right hands that Faithe blocks, until Chayse gets bright again. Instead, she lands a hard edge chop right to Faithe's shoulder again that catches her off guard. Jewel takes her to the mat with a huge exploder! Chayse bounds off the ropes, running back and nailing the Shattered Dreams (Curb Stomp), except she modifies it so that she stomps down on Faithe's shoulder instead. Faithe grabs her shoulder in pain! After their back and forth, Jewel is able to get the three count to advance in the PURE of Heart tournament. WINNER Jewel Chayse FINISHING MOVE Shattered Dreams (Curb Stomp) |
Match Three Noa Skye vs Kelly Taylor vs Liam Richardson What we have in this next one are three different competitors, that have all impressed recently in tag matches. We know Liam has been a staple with S2K, while Kelly and Noa both showed what they were made of against each other two weeks ago. Now it's time to represent only themselves. The bell rings and the three begin to rocket around every which way. Speed seems to be the name of the game at first, with Kelly eventually being the first struck down with a high calf kick. Don't let that fool you though, the three of them kept of with one another throughout the match. You'd usually see someone get knocked from the ring, or some sort of tactic to single out a competitor, but it was proving difficult with those in the ring. We see Liam go on a rampage, throwing hip toses left and right, and then hitting a springboard DDT onto Kelly. He tries to continue his momentum but walks right into a cutter from Noa Skye! She leaps into the air, nailing a standing senton and going for a cover but it's broken up by Kelly. Taylor lifts Noa into the air, crashing back to the canvas with a brainbuster. Kelly turns and almost walks into a dropkick from Liam, but Kelly steps back. Not only does Liam miss and collide with the canvas, but Taylor grabs hold of his legs, locking in the Diary of Jane (Haas of Pain)! Kelly applies more and more pressure until it looks like Liam is about to tap, but that's when Noa soars through the air with a leg drop to Kelly! This forces Taylor to release the hold. Skye hits the ropes and gives Kelly a rolling thunder that knocks the wind out of him. She isn't able to capitalize though, as Liam comes out of nowhere with a running uppercut! He makes good on it by next hitting her with a huricanrana. He grabs hold of her legs, modifying into a dragonrana pin, but Noa is able to power out. The force of her kick out sends Liam rushing forward into a sitout powerbomb from Kelly Taylor, who was getting to his feet again! He knows better than to try for a pin with Noa so near though, and instead goes right for her. He kicks her in the midsection, going for a piledriver, but she refuses to be lifted. She reverses out, spinning into a high knee that catches Kelly across the chin with a SMACK. Liam has rolled near the turnbuckle, and Skye quickly gives him a hard stomp. She climbs to the top of the turnbuckle, leaping off into the Lost Paradise (Diving Senton) to Liam... But wait! Kelly Taylor comes from the other side of the ring at a sprint, nailing Noa in the face with Clear the Pit (Running Big Boot)! She flips through the air and lands on her stomach, just before Kelly turns her over for the three count. With his hand raised, he's greeted by Savannah Sunshine who leaps into his arms in celebration! WINNER Kelly Taylor FINISHING MOVE Clear the Pit (Running Big Boot) |
Match Four McKena Hardy vs Silas Romero vs Briana Mathews vs CJ Bradley All four come down to the ring, each with someone else to prove. One could argue that CJ Bradley may have the most to prove, not only because it's her debut match but she also has a reputation as a Queen of Chaos to live up to. As the bell rings, the four of them break up into groups of two. It lasts for a bit before they switch. McKena Hardy and CJ Bradley end up against one another, and are putting a little extra mustard on their punches, as they say. CJ puts her into a headlock, that McKena isn't able to get out of until she hits CJ with a backpack stunner! CJ stumbles back, and McKena makes sure they tumble over the top rope. Once on the outside, they bring their battle into the crowd and disappear into the arena somewhere. At commentary, Ellie McCain notes that it may have something to do with the animosity between the Queens of Chaos and Nightfall recently. Without count outs, it effectively makes the match now a singles match between the last two competitors, Bri Mathews and Silas Romero. Silas has already started going in on Bri, giving her a short-arm lariat that brings her to the ground. He keeps hold of her arm though, yanking her back up to her feet. He follows up with a spinning northern lights, making sure to give a good bridge at the end. However, Mathews is able to kick out! With frustration, he whips her into the nearby corner, before rushing her, landing a high knee right across her face, followed by a double knee smash that gets him another two count. Bri is showing she's not going down without a fight! She's also able to gain control by striking Silas in the midsection, causing him to double over and making him open to eat a shining wizard. Bri doubles it up by bringing him back to the canvas with a hard russian legsweep. She quickly runs to the turnbuckle, which she hops up onto the second rope. As Silas gets to his feet, she leaps into a second rope meteora! She grabs his legs on the way down for a pin, but Silas is also able to power out of the pin attempt. Bri looks disappointed but she's not going to give up that easily. Silas swats her arms away as she brings him up to her feet. He's able to give her a quick snap suplex, but holds onto her shoulder. He brings her to her feet for a second time, only to give her another snap suplex! He brings her to her feet a third time, for what some would think would be a third snap suplex, but instead he raises his knee for a knee smash! While she is dazed from the knee, Silas connects with the GKFO (Ripcord Rolling Elbow)! He lays across Bri for the three count, truly earning his self-given King of the Multiperson Match title. WINNER Silas Romero FINISHING MOVE GKFO (Ripcord Rolling Elbow) |
Match Five Chris Night & Gloria Ramirez vs Siren & Greyson Blackheart Although we have heard of Gloria and Chris' friendship, this is the first we are seeing them together for a match and they look right at home. The newer team of the dark Siren and Greyson Blackheart aren't as familiar with one another but still look intimidating coming down to the ring. Both pairs are like looking at night and day. Siren and Gloria start for their teams, with Siren getting the better of their exchange. Siren may be a bit jealous of Gloria moving on in the PURE of Heart tournament while she lost her first round match. Siren knocks her down with a rolling neckbreaker, and then proceeds to bring her up by her hair just to slam her back down, face first. When Gloria manages to take control, she hits a snapmare and quickly applies a chinlock. Despite the mastery, Siren isn't much tired yet and is powering out. Siren hits a spinning elbow as Gloria gets to her feet, trying to hit Tears of Misery (Vertebreaker) but Gloria reverses! Ramirez is able to flip her over for a huge fisherman suplex and bridge it for a pin! Greyson lets go of the tag rope and breaks the count, otherwise who knows what would've happened. Thinking she could possibly end it quickly, Gloria goes for the Fade 2 Glory (Dragon Sleeper) but Siren won't let her lock it in. So Gloria rethinks her attack and connects with a dragon suplex instead! It clearly takes the wind out of her. Gloria tags in her partner, Chris Night! Chris hits a running elbow that connects, and spikes Siren to her feet. Night bounces off the ropes and runs right into a surprise dropkick from Siren. She tags Greyson in but then heads to the top rope. Blackheart goes for a wheelbarrow as Siren leaps into a flying DDT at the same time! Greyson goes for a pin but Night kicks out. As Blackheart helps him up, Night does what he does best and continues fighting back. Right hand after right hand until Blackheart seems more than dazed. Chris hits the ropes and jumps off for a springboard huricanrana that has Greyson seeing stars! Night ducks under the ropes and steps out onto the apron, before leaping into a springboard senton off the ropes! Chris goes for another pin, but this time Siren enters the ring and saves her partner. Nightfall look like they are picking up steam as the match continues. Greyson on the other hand looks like he's fading. As Greyson gets up, Chris slams him back down by rushing at him, and leaping into a tilt-a-whirl flashback! He hits the ropes to springboard again, but this time he lands a springboard dropkick to Siren that knocks her off the apron. The crowd cheers! Chris tags Gloria back in as Greyson gets to his feet. However, Chris heads to the top rope, and Gloria locks Greyson into When Night Falls (Crossface)! A moment later, Night leaps into the Nightmare Splash (Five Star Frog Splash) which connects to Greyson's back! Gloria lets go, and flips Blackheart over for the three count! The two receive a round of applause from the HoW crowd. WINNER Team Nightfall FINISHING MOVE When Night Falls (Crossface) + Nightmare Splash (Five Star Frog Splash) |
Match Six One-On-Tag Davina King vs Darcy Graves & Veronica Taylor This match was brought on two weeks ago as a result of Davina King being taken off the cover of the HoW issue of Sports Illustrated-esque magazine. Instead, Bash Blackstone replaced her with Veronica Taylor. Coincidentally, or not, Bash escorts Veronica out to the ring with Darcy. Commentary notes how Darcy Graves is Bianca's bodyguard, and Veronica is Bianca's friend, so you can draw your own conclusions there. Either way, Davina does not look happy. She instantly tells Darcy to tag Veronica in, because it's her that she has issues with. Darcy refuses, so Davina says she isn't going to ask again, which brings the two to blows. The first Civil Champion and the first Violent Champion are pretty well matched. As the match continues, it becomes more about their test of strength against each other. Darcy headbutts Davina, and goes to lift her up, though she is having trouble. After some struggle, she gets Davina up into the air, but attempts to hold her for too long. King slips off, coming down on Darcy with a reverse DDT. Davina gets Darcy to her feet, and essentially something similar happens, but opposite. Also, Davina lifts Darcy into a gorilla press slam. This time the move connects though, as Davina lets Graves go at the height. She crashes to the canvas below. Darcy goes to tag Veronica in, but Taylor steps back from the apron a bit, refusing to be tagged in. Darcy doesn't look pleased, but Veronica looks to Bash who urges Darcy to stay in the ring. Graves nods, but she isn't super happy about it. Unfortunately for her she turns around right into a big boot from Davina! She goes for a pin but it's broken up when Veronica gives her a leg drop to the back of the head! The match continues like this a bit, with Veronica trying to get shots on Davina whenever she can, including an axe handle to her back as King stepped back to close to the opponent corner. Darcy hasn't event tried going for a tag, but the onslaught from both is clearly beginning to wear on Davina. At one point, Davina gets tired of Veronica's antics, and goes right for the corner. She puffs her chest up, calling Veronica out. However, Taylor doesn't want any part of it. Davina seems to say "that's what I thought" and turns back to her match with Darcy. However, she turns into Waking the Dead (Running Single Leg High Knee) that floors Davina! Finally, Veronica is holding her hand out for Darcy to tag. She's ready to make her grand entrance into the match! Reluctantly, Darcy walks over and tags Veronica in, who grabs Davina from behind as she's getting up. Taylor connects with Exed Out (Rolling the Dice) and she hooks Davina King's leg for the three count. The crowd boos in unison as Darcy and Veronica's hands are raised. Despite the boos, Veronica and Bash look as if Taylor has just accomplished an amazing feat! WINNER Veronica Taylor & Darcy Graves FINISHING MOVE Exed Out (Rolling the Dice) |
Match Seven House of Wrestling Violent Championship Lumberjack Violent Rules Lead Lumberjill: Madison Lewis Holden Ross(c) vs Dylan Shepherd Madz music hits first, and she walks out as the Lead Lumberjill, with the rest of the lumberjacks in the match following behind her. She carries her Gray Key with pride, holding it up when she gets inside in the ring. Of course, she takes her place outside the ring shortly before Holden and Dylan make their way to the ring. Holden has been nothing short of an impressive Violent Champion, while Dylan is one of the newcomers that has eyes on him. We begin with a bit of a cat and mouse game which is mostly put on by Dylan in order to get under Holden's skin. Ross wants nothing more than to cause him any sort of pain, but Dylan does his best to stay away. Eventually, Holden becomes frustrated and goes to the outside in hopes of grabbing some kind of weapon. He comes face-to-face with multiple lumber jacks that land right hand after right hand. Ross is forced to fend them off for himself, headbutting them as they rush him until he's finally able to grab a kendo stick. However, just as he does, Madison Lewis leaps over his lead and comes back down onto the steel steps with a facebuster! Holden crumbles to the floor, and the lumberjacks stomp on him. Surprisingly, Holden powers through them, up to his feet! He grabs the kendo stick and slides in, but is still unable to use it when Dylan capitalizes with a spear, causing the kendo stick to go flying. Dylan attempts to keep his control with a series of strikes. Shepherd goes lonesome for his trusty bag of legos, which he goes to the commentary table in order to get. Of course, he runs into the lumberjacks and he's having trouble fighting them off! Madz blows a kiss and gives Dylan a wink, before she runs along the edge of the barricade, leaping into the lumberjacks with a dragon screw that clears the path for Dylan! Shepherd rolls in, but is hit with a sidewalks slam from Holden. The match becomes much more physical at this point, but the two are still having trouble getting to any objects. Although it may not be bloody, the high impact moves inside the ring between the two certainly look pretty violent! Holden hits a two-handed chokebomb that gets him a two count. He can't get up fast enough from it though, and Dylan smashes him in the face with a basement dropkick. This gives him enough time to grab him bag of legos again, finally spreading them along the canvas like he had planned. Ross happens to be getting to his feet, and eats a boot to the gut from Dylan. Dylan puts him in position for the Big D Driver (Jumping Piledriver), going for on top of the legos! BUT Holden keeps his weight down, and Dylan is unable to lift him. It catches him off guard, and Holden is able to lift him instead! He spins Dylan around for the H Bomb (Gonzo Bomb) on top of the legos! Dylan's trusty lego pieces completely backfired! Holden covers for the three, much to Madison's dismay on the outside. As Holden is handed the Violent Championship, he points to Madz, yelling something. He leaves the ring right after, but it's clear that if this would've been a usual Violent Rules match, Dylan may have been champion. Instead, the Bastard retains again, and keeps his hold on the Violent division. WINNER AND STILL House of Wrestling Violent Champion, Holden Ross FINISHING MOVE H Bomb (Gonzo Bomb) |
Match Eight House of Wrestling World Tag Team Championships The Lost(c) vs Deathriders The House of Wrestling World Tag Team Champions, The Lost, make their way down to the ring with the belts. They won them at Home Invasion, and the division has honestly been popping off ever since. If they didn't defend against the Deathriders, they'd need to defend against someone else. Noah and Anton are going to be defending, with Gio Moriello at ringside. The Deathriders walk out next, showing complete confidence and they don't even have any of the other Queens with them. Palmer and Lilith start out for their team, with Anton overpowering the Parker sister. Palmer is one of the strongest in HoW, and he uses his strength to overwork Lilith. He takes her up into a powerslam, as well as giving her a choke toss across the ring. She realizes she has to go about this a different way, and slides Anton's leg from under him with a sweep. She bounds back with a basement huricanrana before hitting standing knee drop, keeping her knee on Anton's neck for a little longer than normal. Lilith walks over and tags her sister Kaya in, the duo hitting a double DDT before Lilith goes to the apron. Kaya looks to continue that control by doing some mat work, locking Anton into an armbar. At one point it looks like he's ready to tap, but on the contrary, he lifts her up one armed and powerbombs Kaya down! Anton is winded now, and luckily for him, this gives him enough time to get to his corner and tag in Noah Ortega. The Leader of the Lost comes running in like a bat out of hell! He lands a missile dropkick to Kaya that puts her back down to the canvas. But he also runs over to the other Parker Sister and lands a huge roundhouse kick across her chin! He goes to bound off the ropes into a springboard moonsault, but Kaya puts her knees up! The wind in Noah's sails is taken right out, especially when she follows it up with the Parker Go Round (Leg Trap Sunset Flip Powerbomb) but the count is broken up by Anton. Kaya gives him a forearm in response that knocks him off the apron. Kaya walks into another roundhouse by Noah that echoes throughout the arena! He goes to pin but Lilith comes from under the ropes and breaks the count. Anton enters the ring as well, and the four begin to throw hands, despite the referee telling the illegal competitors to get back to the apron. This is also when S2K, Liam and Miles, appear at ringside and they begin messing with Gio, the lone Lost member, at ringside. They are out there alone for long when the Midnight Demon Club also show up, and these four begin to throw hands. This prompts the appearance of KellVannah (Kelly Taylor and Savannah Sunshine) and finally Crimson Dawn (Chris Night and FAITHE)! inside the ring, the fighting has stopped somewhat due to the distraction outside the ring. The referee is also having the worst day of his life as he tries to maintain control. Thinking fast, Anton tosses Lilith over the top rope and Noah rolls Kaya up just in time for the ref to count the three. Noah and Anton roll from the ring to join Gio with the titles and they hightail it up the ramp, leaving the rest of the teams to battle it out. For now, they've stolen their first title defense. WINNER AND STILL House of Wrestling World Tag Team Champions, The Lost FINISHING MOVE Roll Up |
Mikey Svarro: Frankie WhoNow?
Headliner House of Wrestling Civil Championship Bianca Page(c) vs Frankie Fontaine Bianca makes her way to the ring with the Civil Championship, looking slightly paranoid. Probably due to Myra's fake out cash in from two weeks ago. For now she needs to worry about Frankie though, who gets a massive amount of cheers as they walk down the ramp. Fontaine looks more than ready for a fight tonight. The two go for a tie up, which Bianca takes originally, but is reversed by Frankie. Page reverses control, and Fontaine reverses it back. Page arm drags Frankie to the other side, and the two end up where they started. They essentially repeat the same thing again, except this time Frankie wins the first round, and instead of Fontaine hitting an armdrag, they hit a ripcord knee! Page is shocked, and rolls to the other side of the ring to catch her bearings. They continue to move around the ring like this, with the two competing in a much more mental game during the first half. Spinning Back Kick from Frankie, Bianca falls near the ropes, Fontaine covers. Bianca's foot on the ropes. The crowd goes nuts when Fontaine is finally able to catch Bianca across the chest with a hard kick that echoes with a SMACK. Page kips back up, and so Fontaine lands a second. Then a third, and culminating in a flying knee that has Bianca dazed on the canvas. Frankie goes for a cover and Bianca gets her shoulder up. Bianca answers with multiple high impact move, such as the first bicycle kick that catches Fontaine from out of nowhere. Page keeps it going by lifting Fontaine's legs onto the ropes, plating them with a hangmans DDT! Bianca flips them over and tries for a pin herself but Frankie gets their shoulder up after two! All of a sudden, the crowd starts to cheer louder than ever, and Bianca turns around to see Myra Rivers at ringside! Not only that, but she has the White Key in hand! Myra uses the key to point to Bianca, who looks around frantically for the referee. Bianca squares up, ready for Myra. However, Rivers then puts up a finger and shakes it. Bianca rolls her eyes, and turns back to Frankie, only to get a discuss elbow in the face! Page stumbles back doesn't fall, so Frankie makes sure to land a perfect Spinning Back Kick across Bianca's temple! Page falls to the canvas near the ropes, but Frankie takes the pin where it is. The crowd counts along with the ref! One...two...three! But it's a mistake. Because before the referees hand comes down for the official three, Bianca's leg pops up and rests on the bottom rope, forcing a rope break. So close for Frankie! Fontaine knows what needs to be done, and drags Bianca closer to the middle of the ring, then sets up for another Spinning Back Kick...but Page ducks this one! Bianca jumps into the Lavish Lifestyle (Blockbuster) and the crowd releases an outstanding BOOM of boos as Bianca Page makes the three count. WINNER AND STILL House of Wrestling Civil Champion, Bianca Page! FINISHING MOVE Lavish Lifestyle (Blockbuster) |
Main Event House of Wrestling Grand Championship Number One Contendership Carina Vega vs Jessi Ozborne Our Grand Champion, Alex Andrews, makes her way to the ring first to a roar across the audience. She takes her place at ringside with the commentary team, which for tonight has just been Ellie McCain. The second person is a nice change for Ellie and the two have a short chat about Andrews' reign before our competitors enter. Unfortunately it looks to Andrews like her contender could be the case of Worst vs Worse. Jessi can't help but look over to Alex before the bell sounds. Carina surprises Jessi from the jump by coming at Ozborne hard. From their last encounter, you'd think Carina would play it a little safer but she's pulling out the stops like she has against Davina. We see her take control in the first part, giving Jessi two hip tosses followed by a gutwrench suplex that looks great! Jessi rolls to the corner in hopes of catching her breath, but it only gets her a running hip attack from Carina. Vega takes the time to smack her hip, taunting the crowd. It's just the right amount of breather time that Jessi needs. She darts to her feet, landing an enziguri across Carina's jaw. Carina stumbles to one knee before pushing herself back up, but Jessi launches into a magnificent looking stundog millionaire! The crowd lets out an "AWE" but are cautious in cheering. Ozborne goes for a pin but Carina kicks out. Jessi bounds off the ropes, but Carina is able to catch her with a drop toe hold. She hits Jessi with an impact forearm to her chest, that makes Jessi back up to the ropes. After a couple more right hands, Carina ties Jessi's arms in the ropes! Carina lays in more forearms as the referee begins a count. Before the disqualification, she lets Jessi go and hits a Smoke and Mirrors (Oblivion) from the ropes! She crawls over seductively, laying across Jessi for a pin, but Jessi kicks out! Carina simply is not happy about it, but she doesn't have time to lament as Jessi grabs her into a spinning belly-to-belly! Ozborne doesn't stop there, darting to the turnbuckle and leaping into a houston hangover neckbreaker! The crowd lets go a cheer, simply for the action inside the ring, as Jessi gets another two count. Ozborne grabs Carina by her hair to get her up to her feet, planting her with a powerbomb lungblower! Vega can't take it anymore and slides from the ring, clutching her back! Jessi follows her to the outside, where the two make their way to the commentary table. Jessi slams Carina's head into the commentary table. Suddenly Jessi says something under her breath directed towards Alex, but Andrews doesn't back down and says something back. Pretty soon they are getting in each others faces, with Carina slipping away. Alex knows better than to do anything during the match though, and puts her hands up. Jessi turns around to see Carina sliding back into the ring, so she does the same. Unknown to Jessi, Carina has grabbed one of her trusty mirrors. As Alex is apologizing to the referee, Carina swings her mirror to break on Jessi's head! ...but Ozborne blocks it! She sticks her arm out just in time, the forward momentum and sudden stop causing the mirror to fly out of Carina's hands and break at ringside below! Carina cries out in anguish, just before Jessi manages to nail her with Disenchanted (House Call). She holds the pin in tight as the referee counts the three! WINNER Jessi Ozborne FINISHING MOVE Disenchanted (House Call) |
