Alignment: Neutral Good
GIMMICK
Following the close of her own promotion in Japan, she is venturing out to hone her skills.
WRESTLING STYLE
Tomoko’s in-ring style is more reminiscent of Kings Road than anything else. There should be a heavy focus in selling and telling a story when writing her matches. Her game used to be heavy strike heavy, however, she’s in the process of becoming more well-rounded. In terms of real world comparisons, she’d be a mixture of KAIRI, Tam Nakano and Shoko Nakajima.
ATTITUDE TOWARDS CHEATING
Never
ATTITUDE TOWARDS TEAMWORK
Selective
ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT DO
I’d ask that Tomoko stay away from any death match type stuff, at least initially. That should be something that could be built towards.

CHARACTER BIO
Most people would have never guessed that professional wrestling was in the cards for Tomoko Ota. She didn’t participate in many athletics and sports growing up. However, she did become quite accustomed to being in the spotlight. Her charm and cuteness was unmatched. A number of clothing magazines approached Tomoko during her first year of university. That would lead to her becoming somewhat of a fashion influencer. She also starred in a number of independent films throughout the course of her time at college. Tomoko continued acting and influencing after graduation. She enjoyed things well enough; her bills were paid. But they weren’t her passion.
Her path to the wrestling ring was an interesting one. Although she’d never really been a sports person herself, Tomoko had always enjoyed watching professional wrestling. She appreciated the toughness of the wrestlers and the physicality that they exhibited. It was something she’d never be able to do in her mind, she looked upon it with great admiration. Well, that is until a friend of hers told her about Yugen Dojo’s open training seminar. She decided to go on a whim; that day changed her life.
It was her feelings of inadequacy that forced Tomoko to work extremely hard. She felt less talented and prepared than her peers, and instead of wallowing in it, she put in extra time in the ring. That hard work paid off as she passed her exit exams. Though, the instructors felt that she’d benefit from a bit more toughening up. Cue The Monster Factory.
She got her head beat during her first two years. It was painful, really painful. But she did learn a lot. And she developed a spirit that would not break.
Tomoko’s game in the ring initially centered around striking. No surprise given her trainers. And while she was good at it, her first couple of years in the business taught her that she needed to have a more complete toolset.
