December 2nd, 2022
LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena
We open on the streets of Las Vegas. We’re not on the strip with the casinos and ever-flowing cash, we’re in the part of Vegas where people actually live. Las Vegas isn’t all sin. We walk with the camera man through the front door of a local gym. There are various people around, training on a punching bag, running drills inside a ring, rolling on a mat, etc. The place is filled with overlapping sounds, though it doesn’t come off overwhelming. In fact, the place seems inviting and welcoming. We continue walking through the gym until we see a curly, fiery mane jogging in place. It’s unmistakable Faithe. That’s when Alex Andrews comes out from behind the camera, as we switch from Andrews’ POV to third person POV. As Andrews draws nearer, Faithe stops jogging in place, flashing Alex a smile.
FAITHE: Hey, Alex! Glad to see you made it!
Andrews nods back at her, taking a moment to look around. For the first time, we see the giant letters of NIGHTFALL on the far wall.
FAITHE: I’m just getting warmed up, think we were going to move to one of the open rings. Chris was just finishing up a couple of things in his office.
She pointed to the back of the gym where a staircase lead to the top of the building. There, it lead to a catwalk and room that overlooked the entire gym. At that moment, the door swings open to show Chris Night in the doorway. He hastily walks down the catwalk, followed by the staircase, headed right for the duo.
FAITHE: Look who decided to show up!
She joked, nudging Chris in the arm as he walked up to the pair. Chris overacts a bit, holding the spot Faithe’s fist connected, pretending as if it hurt. She was excited to share a training session with two of the best that House of Wrestling has to offer.
Chris Night: You two look raring to go!
Chris let out a light laugh before he glanced around the gym, looking for something or someone before sighing.
Chris Night: No McKena still, huh? No matter. She’ll be ready to go, I know it.
Night placed a hand on Alex and FAITHE’s shoulders.
Chris Night: We’ll make due with the three of us. One thing I know for certain is that we’re going to be ready for these bums. Someone has to put a stop to their bullcrap.
Chris paused then tapped Alex on the shoulder.
Chris Night: And I need to make sure that you’re ready for night one as well. I played a big hand in training Gavin. It’s only fair I help you prepare for him.
He leaned forward with a smirk before whispering his next sentence to Alex.
Chris Night: I have to make sure I’m the one that beats you for that championship.
Chris grinned widely before letting out a big laugh. Alex just smirked and shakes her head.
Alex Andrews : I mean, good luck with that! More than a few have tried and you see still is holding the gold.
Alex puffed out her chest a just a little.
Alex Andrews : I do appreciate the help from you both though. And the help and back up against the likes of the Queens. Y'all didn't have to do that and I know that and appreciate it. More than you know. They love their gang warfare and running the numbers game, it's been nice to know that I don't have to worry quite so much on getting jumped with y'all at my back.
Alex let out a bit of a sign as she looked forward at nothing in particular.
Alex Andrews : Two huge matches in two days. Got my work cut out for me, right? But that's the life of being the top dog in the company? High profile matches and no rest for the wicked, am I right? That said, I can't lose focus on either match, one will cost me a title if I do and the other? I don't really want to give Jessi and her QoC any more momentum than they already have.
She nodded and looks at her partners and friends.
Alex Andrews : So yeah, any pointers I can get, I will take. I am not above taking advice from those willing to help me out.
FAITHE stepped out of the triangle they had created, moving towards the empty ring. She waved her hand, beckoning the other two to follow along with her.
FAITHE: If anyone should be giving any advice, it’s you. Great job on retaining by the way, Champ. I could definitely use some of those moves when I go up against Jessi on night one. You’re the only person in HoW that has managed to pin her down. I plan on doing the same and winning my first championship in wrestling, the XIX Darkhorse Championship!
She slid under the bottom rope, into the ring, before turning back to the other two. Faithe leaned against the ropes, facing both Alex and Chris.
FAITHE: Now if you needed some advice on how to handle the Parkers, I one hundred percent got you there. In the Keys to the House match, not only did I handle my own against both of them, but I even pinned Kaya. Gloria did one better by making them both tap. I admit that CJ Bradley is a bit of a mystery, but I fully believe that McKena will subdue her. So you can see I’m a little confident walking into War Games. Individually, we’ve all done work against them.
After a couple steps back, she began stretching from side to side.
FAITHE: But I think where we need to focus, is learning how to work as a team. There’s no denying that they have us beat there. I trust you both, but they came into HoW together, have remained together, and have been striving toward seeing each other succeed. We don’t have that same camaraderie, but I know we can get there. Now get up here!
Faithe sat on the second rope, pushing the top rope up, and holding it for either Alex or Chris. Alex moved to hop up onto the apron but stopped before getting into the ring.
Alex Andrews : I mean, it's not like we are exactly strangers to each other either. Nightfall has become almost a second home to me since y'all decided to help me stand up to Jessi and her girls squad. And I've seen how tight knit you guys are. It might be a little daunting but I think we can get the job done.
She smiles and rests herself against the rope with an arm.
Alex Andrews : The way I see it, my first hurdle is getting past Gavin. To keep my head on straight because he's gunning hard for me and I've seen him first hand do his thing back in Limitless. He'll want to take that Grand Championship I worked SO hard to obtain and I can't let him. I had to be on my toes 24/7 when it came to Mikey and his games, I just got to keep my head on swivel for things like that, from Gavin and even the QoC. But as y'all seen, I can step it up when I need to.
Alex laughed to herself.
Alex Andrews : I have to admit, some days it still doesn't feel real. To even say that at this point in my career, I am a World Champion…just wow. So yeah, I get all the pressure that comes with it now and how hard it is to stay on top, but as you have seen, Lady Limitless hasn't peaked just yet. I want to keep rising and improving…
Chris nodded.
Chris Night: Exactly! You’re just getting started. A couple of years ago, I saw you become Riot Champion in MWE, a brand champion. That’s a big deal but now? Now you have an entire company on your shoulders.
Chris placed his hand on Alex’s shoulder.
Chris Night: And you’re doing great so far. But now you see that you don’t have to do it on your own. As much as I love Gav, I know you’ll be ready for him. You got this. And then when it comes to Queens of Chaos? They might have come here together but they don’t have what we have.
Night shook his head.
Chris Night: They don’t have honor and the heart of a champion. All three of us? We got that and most of all? We have the tools to work together as a real team, even with McKena’s attitude as of late, I still believe that our side has the advantage.
He pointed at Alex.
Chris Night: Especially since we have the champ. But hey, let’s work out the final things to prepare, yeah?
FAITHE: Chris has been showing me more aerial moves as of late.
She nodded to Night.
FAITHE: Personally, I say leave the aerial moves to him, but I’m game to learn some reversals.
She tilted her head towards Andrews.
FAITHE: I know I can’t lose with the three of you by my side. Paragon is going to be a weekend worth of history and we’re at the forefront. Let’s get to it!
The camera begins to pan out as FAITHE grabs Chris into a headlock, Alex giving some pointers as she torques his neck to the side. Their voices drown out before the complete fade.
The show cuts to Myra Rivers in the back as she has some final thoughts in mind for her upcoming Civil Championship match against Bianca Page. There’s no doubt that there is a mix of annoyance and anger going through her, but at the same time there’s just as little doubt that she’s also coming into this thing determined. She’s reflecting on things for a moment, not just the last few months dealing with Bianca’s nonsense, but also her entire journey up to this point… HOW and otherwise. Once she realizes what she wants to say, she begins to express her thoughts.
Myra Rivers: It’s kind of ironic that I might… no… WILL… win a championship at an event named after a word that I don’t even like. Yeah, “Paragon” is far from my favorite word in the dictionary and if you’ve followed my career long enough… you know why!
Myra delivers a quick wink before she continues.
Myra Rivers: Really though, if you look in the dictionary, the definition would be something along the lines of a person being viewed as a model of excellence… which for SOME reason Bash Blackstone sees Bianca Page as just that. It’s rather embarrassing that he’s been simping for the likes of her and Veronica Taylor. It’s embarrassing to HOW. Hell, it’s embarrassing to all of professional wrestling. HOW deserves better than to be represented by people that want to act as if they’re still preparing for their Sweet 16. The Civil Championship has long deserved BETTER than you, Bianca Page. It’s a travesty that you’re so self-absorbed that you have no faith in your abilities. It’s always about either hiding behind someone else or pulling some cheap BULLSHIT to get ahead. If my trainer, and more or less my surrogate father by the way, could see YOU wrestle, he’d be turning in his grave god rest his soul.
All you’ve done when it comes to me is just brush me off, acting as if I’m ‘making excuses’ or your bullshit, ANNOYING “I know you are but what am I?” garbage of redirecting blame and vitriol at me. You’ve done nothing but be a CHICKENSHIT from the start, Bianca and tonight is where it ends. You want to ‘get rid of me’ so bad because you KNOW that when you’re NOT hiding behind someone else, you’re completely EXPOSED. I’m not saying you’re a bad wrestler. What I am saying is that you don’t have enough heart for your craft to mature and grow up beyond your petty, narcissistic, Sweet 16-style nonsense. You just want to rely on shortcuts to get ahead and I AM NOT ABIDING THAT!
What makes you special? Having Blackstone in your back pocket? Being teacher’s pet is NOT what you think because SOMEDAY, someone else will come around and he’ll forget he exist and he’ll be happier playing with his brand new toy. Does your name and your family image make you special? No. It doesn’t. Yet, you rely on it so much. My mother wrestled too… but I’ve done what she would’ve wanted me to do and that’s carve out a LEGACY on my own. Being all about that socialite nonsense? Is that it? Is it having magazine covers, modeling agreements and all of that? You think that all makes you better than me?
It DOESN’T… and it NEVER WILL…
Myra pauses for a bit as the anger really comes out of her now.
Myra Rivers: You think I haven’t had the corporate jackasses come knocking on my door offering those same covers, endorsements and modeling opportunities? I’m not trying to be vain here, but COME ON! Even at 38, I STILL have those offers. If I REALLY wanted to sell out and be on a modeling magazine, I would… but I DON’T because professional wrestling for me is NOT about that! It’s not about being a shallow socialite with the personality of blue cheese gone bad. It’s definitely NOT about the magazine covers. It’s not about USING and WHORING this business to further your image into shallow endeavors such as being all over magazines just to be a fucking show off. That’s NOT how I was brought into this business. I was always taught that being a WRESTLER always comes first… or I suppose in my case, I’m a mother first and a wrestler second but you get what I mean.
You think I couldn’t have gone down the same road you have a long time ago and been as vapid, shallow and empty as you are? Thank the LORD I grew up and had the trainer that I did. I’ve done this as long as I have, everywhere I have, and I’ve attained the success that I’ve had over nearly 15 years of being on the mainstream because my heart and my passion for this has ALWAYS carried me through. I love this sport and this business more than ANYTHING else in the world with the exception of my daughter who just turned 9 years old and would love me to bring that Civil title home as a belated birthday gift. I’ve put EVERYTHING on the line for professional wrestling for my entire adult life… more than 20 YEARS… I’ve wanted this ever since I was that little 7 year old girl being inspired by my mother’s matches shortly before brain cancer took her life and despite living most of my childhood without her, I NEVER gave up the dream.
My story is, unfortunately, a minority in this business since so many people these days are focused on ego, and fame, and being a wannabe social media celebrity… but as long as I’m still here doing what I love, I know I can STILL do good for this business… and tonight? That’s exactly what I will do when I FINALLY win that Civil title from you. I’d say that it would teach you a lesson, but I know it won’t because you’re that SHALLOW MINDED… but that’s okay. This isn’t about you. You’re the opponent that has the title. This isn’t about teaching you a lesson… this is about showing why I am the wrestler, the woman, and the mother that I am and why I’m still that beacon of shining hope for the business that means the world to me!
Being the Civil Champion? Oh it’ll mean a LOT to me… and I WILL win tonight!
Myra takes a moment to calm down and gather herself before she heads out of the scene and the scene fades to black.
Chris Night appears backstage, finishing up a conversation with his girlfriend and close confidant, Gloria Ramirez. The two part ways when Chris turned toward the camera and smiled.
Chris Night: Hey guys, it’s a big night tonight, huh? I got a match against RAZE, one of Julian Savell’s boys. A lot of you know my relationship with Julian but then again, a lot of you don’t know.
He shrugged.
Chris Night: I guess I’ll let you in on some of the history. Julian was the first graduate of Nightfall. He was basically the Anakin Skywalker to my Obi-Wan Kenobi. He betrayed me, all the way back in 2014. He took out my knee, tried to end my career and he even tried to kick my then pregnant wife, Kelly Fury, in the stomach.
Chris rolled his eyes and shook his head.
Chris Night: And now? Now Julian has a team. Or what I like to call, his little henchmen. And that includes you, RAZE. You’re just a pawn to him. You think this is some brotherhood?
Chris laughed and shook his head.
Chris Night: You mean nothing to him. Nobody means anything to Julian but Julian. I hope you see that one day. But tonight? Tonight the only thing that you’re going to see is the lights of the arena when you’re looking up at them, right after I just knocked your ass out? Got that? Good. See you out there, pal.
Chris nodded and walked off and the scene cut away.
Air raid sirens slowly wind up while the arena is plunged into darkness. Green floodlights come up and the Violent Champion, Holden Ross, is standing at the top of the ramp. A black bandana covers the lower half of his ski mask covered face and, in his raised right hand, is the Violent Championship belt.
Bash: There he is, our Violent Champion! He has bulldozed his way through every single person who has challenged him for the belt.
Ellie: This match, against ARCHER, isn’t for the belt but, should ARCHER beat the Champ, it would have to launch him to the front of the line for the number one contenders spot!
Holden has started to the ring and slowly climbs the ring steps. He walks towards the halfway point between the turnbuckle and steps over the top rope. Holden hands the belt to the ref before turning to face the hard camera. With his left hand he pulls off the bandana and with his right he removes the ski mask.
Bash: Holden looks to be ready to go already!
Ellie: ARCHER and Holden are nose-to-nose in the center of the ring!
Holden and ARCHER are, indeed, nose-to-nose jawing at each other. Holden’s right hand closes into a fist and the ref quickly gets between the two, ordering them both back to their corners.

“Classy” Bianca Page and her personal trainer Marisol Vilaro are being driven in the back of a limo to the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
“Classy” Bianca Page:Tonight begins a monumental time here in HOW because tonight is the first night of a two night show. The title of the show which I exemplify because as we all know I have always been a model of excellence or perfection. That is why a show entitled Paragon needed me to make my presence felt to give some credibility of bestowing a show with such a name.
Marisol Vilaro:We can say that about the entire Team Vilaro roster.
“Classy” Bianca Page:We surely can, Mari.
Marisol Vilaro:While tomorrow night will be about Veronica doing away with that trashy Davina King and Darcy becoming the next Zion Viral Champion. Tonight is all about you, Bianca.
“Classy” Bianca Page:That it is,Mari, but yet again that little annoying gnat Myra Rivers.
Marisol Vilaro:Damn she is annoying.
“Classy” Bianca Page:Myra is wrestling’s answer to herpes. She never truly leaves but that is until later on tonight Myra. Because as you seem to forget you have already had two shots at MY HOW Civil Championship and after you lose your third chance there will not be a third.
Marisol Vilaro:You’ll just have to take your goofy ass back to Miami and start packing groceries, become a barista, or start dancing at a nightclub. Something that is more your speed.
“Classy” Bianca Page:Because you clearly are not championship material, Myra, and I will gladly show the world once again. Then when I do you NEVER get another shot at MY Civil championship!
Marisol and Bianca smile devilishly.
Jewel sat on an iron throne, a spotlight shined down on her. With bedazzled sunglasses covering her eyes and dressed in leather, which always showcased her greatest assets. She truly was the 'Crown Jewel' and the Queen of House Of Wrestling.
Jewel Chayse: I signed with House of Wrestling to prove a point. I'm not just a pretty face and I'm not just some rookie looking to make it. Because I already have made it, I accomplished my goal. To be the best to become something bigger, I did it on my own. The Crown Jewel Era it's just getting started.
This opportunity was major and Jewel wasn't going to let it slip. She's been preparing for this her whole career. Make it or break time.
Jewel Chayse: Gloria? I'm afraid, I got some bad news for ya? If you think you're gonna submit me? You've got another thing coming, you might think you're this Submission Magician? You got the fans behind you, cute. I couldn't give a ratass about these people's opinions, I came here for one thing and one thing only. To be the best and to be unforgettable. To be The Crown Jewel, The Queen Jewel Chayse.
Jewel was pretty confident about tonight, however she knew she was the underdog going into the match.
Jewel Chayse: Gloria, I welcome you to bring your Knightfall friends. I want them to witness you Bending The Knee. I want them to Bow Down to Queen Jewel, The Pure Cup winner and new Pure Champion.
I told you she was confident. Either way? Win or lose? Everyone would witness just what The Crown Jewel was capable of and tonight was just the beginning.
Jewel Chayse: Save your sob story for someone who gives a damn. It's time to Bend The Knee, it's time to crown a new era.
Jewel smirked. The scene ended with Jewel still sitting up on her throne.
We go backstage where we see Gloria Ramirez sitting on a bench in her dressing room, pulling up an elbow pad as she takes a deep breath. For anyone to say they weren't nervous with the bright lights that were about to shine on her and Jewel would be lying. The event was big, the tournament was bigger, and the championship was the biggest. This was all coming to a head, tonight. Knowing she had to say something to her fans, Gloria puts on her best 'cool' face as she looks up at the camera.
Gloria Ramirez: Yo. When I signed with the House, I won't even front, I never expected to be where I am this soon into my run. I knew I was talented enough, I believed in myself enough, but there are so many talented people that have been here before me, so it's all surreal that my face is on the Night one poster, that's still trippy. My mom literally called me and told me she got the poster framed, like, right before you came in here. It's wild, but I'm focused. Look around...what do you see?
Gloria stands up and looks to her left, then her right, and then behind her.
Gloria Ramirez: Me, myself, and I. No Chris, FAITHE, McKena, Alex, I'm solo. Don't get it twisted, I love my Nightfall fam, but I got myself here based on the PURE rules, and I plan on finishing things off the same way. Don't take that as a slight, Jewel. You've earned your way here the same way. The Queens bring Chaos wherever they go, but I know you can WRESTLE, wrestle, too. You just have to ask yourself, tonight, can you be better than me? Can you be the BEST version of yourself when that bell rings, because if you aren't? Trust me, I'll make you pay. With an arm, or a leg, whatever I decide to take home with me along with the tournament and the championship.
Ramirez smiles as the fans cheer, feeling her confidence was building. From the day she wrestled her first match in HoW, the fans have embraced her.
Gloria Ramirez: I hear you guys, and I appreciate each and every single one of you. You could have looked at me and said, nah, she's too old. Or, she's cool, but I like so and so better, but you never did that. You've had my back every step of the way, and for that I'm eternally grateful. This isn't just for me, it's for all of you too.
Jewel, we have the PRIVILEGE of wrestling in front of the greatest wrestling fans in the world for the right to call ourselves the best PURE wrestler on the entire roster, and I can't speak for you, but that means so much to me. Knowing that I'm not here based on my looks, or how many t-shirts I've sold, or anything else, but I'm here because I've been the best WRESTLER in every match I've been in. You can scoff at this being a privilege, you can say you're owed it, or that the Queens are used to this level of success, but in your PUREST of hearts, you know that everything I've said is true.
Tonight one of us are walking out the first EVER PURE champion, again, an honor I could have only dreamed of a few weeks ago, but what do they always say?
Gloria flashes her most genuine smile yet.
Gloria Ramirez: Dreams come true, and tonight, I feel it. I feel like my dream of making something of myself, proving to everyone that I can be a champion, that I can be the best? That dream? It comes true. Best of luck, Jewel. Now, if you guys will excuse me, I need to finish getting ready. I'll see you out there!
Myra Rivers is given the House of Wrestling Civil Championship, and her arm is raised high. Myra takes the Civil Championship and raises it into the air. The crowd begins to chant her near, cheering louder than ever. They always knew that Myra deserved the Civil Champion, and they were more than happy to see her finally win it.
Another person that was happy to see her win the championship, is McKena Hardy. McKena comes down the ramp with a huge smile on her face. She was there with Myra the majority of the way, fighting against Bianca, Darcy and Veronica at every turn. Hardy slides into the ring, and Myra turns around to see her. The two have garnered something of an interesting friendship in something resembling a mother/daughter relationship. The two embrace into a hug in the middle of the ring.
They release, and Myra holds the belt up high again, the crowd still cheering.
McKena walks to the corner closest to the ramp. Unbeknownst to Myra, Hardy had placed a baseball bat on the side of the ring before sliding under the bottom rope. In fact, everyone was focused on Myra's arm being raised, they didn't see the bat at all. Of course, that is until she picked it up, slamming it into Myra's back!
The boos ring out as McKena has gone full wildchild. Rivers turns around to face her with a confused look on her face, before McKena smashes the bat across her forehead. Hardy picks up the belt, holding it in the air for a few seconds before lying it across Myra in the middle of the ring.
We cut backstage to Gavin Grimes pacing back and forth when he catches the camera in front of him.
Gavin Grimes: Sup, ya’ll? Kinda wild havin’ this spot on the card. A match against Alex Andrews for the Grand Championship.
Gavin nodded.
Gavin Grimes: Ya know, I didn’t have a lot of hope for this place when Mikey Svarro was parading around with that championship but once Alex got her hands on it? This place had hoped. She’s a workhorse, a real pro’s pro. So when I got booked for this match? I knew that I had to give everything I got.
He stepped closer to the camera.
Gavin Grimes: Alex? I know you think that you’ve had some tough battles so far but let me be clear with ya, there ain’t nobody that can bring it to you like I’m about to. So let’s keep this short and sweet.
He pointed at the camera.
Gavin Grimes: It’s going to take everything you’ve got and more to pin my shoulders down to the mat. This is the biggest threat to your championship yet and I don’t plan on leaving without gold tonight. Let’s fuckin’ go!
And with that, Gavin walks out of the frame and the scene cuts away.
Once the competitors have been cleared from the ring, the audience sit and wait for the next match to take place. The anticipation is higher than ever, with the main event being the finale of the PURE of Heart tournament. Just then, the lights cut out in the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The whole place is left in darkness, and the audience look around in wonder. Suddenly, words begin to display on the screen.
And I can almost touch the sky
Keep my head down, it's my time
Not feeling done asking why
Keep my head down, it's my time
I'm ready for what is next
The words scramble and disappear off the screen. Just as suddenly as they had cut out, the lights come back on as if nothing had happened. The crowd is left with big question marks written across their faces. What was that?

Match One Miles Watson vs Tomoko Ota The start of night one sees the debut of the Wild Kochi Daemon, Tomoko Ota. On her way to the ring she is all smiles, making time to connect with the House crowd that is getting to know her. Once inside the ring, she's nothing but business, focusing all her energy into the match. Strangely enough, Liam Richardsen was not at ringside to support his partner, so Miles Watson was out here alone tonight, possibly looking to prove himself in singles competition. As the bell rings, Watson displays his speed by zipping around the ring. He rushes Tomoko, only to slide under her legs, bounds back but then leapfrogs over her. He does this a couple more times, never landing a hit on her, but trying to psyche her out. Eventually, Ota catches him just as he's coming around the bend, grabbing hold of his arm and throwing him over her hip for a hip toss. He kips up and bounds back, but is instantly thrown into another hip toss. We go for one more, before Ota gives him an arm wrench once Watson was on the canvas. She applies pressure in a way that keeps him on the mat, completely controlling his arm. She twist it in the opposite direction, before Watson rolls through in order to free his arm. Although is undoes the twisted part, Tomoko still controls his arm, thus she wrenches it once again, this time in a way that positions herself behind him. She brings her knees up, driving them right into his arm! Watson yells out in pain, clutching his arm as he rolls to his feet. Tomoko does the same, and is able to apply a butterfly lock to Watson, just before bringing him back down with a double arm DDT! She latches her legs around his midsection, holding the butterfly lock once they got to the mat. She reels back on it, but then quickly transitions into a modified armbar, just putting more and more pressure onto his arm. Using his arm that she's been working on, Ota yanks Miles to his feet in order to hook his arm over her shoulder. She lifts him up into a twisting suplex, driving him to the canvas again. As she gets to her feet, Watson hasn't even begun to stir just yet, prompting many cheers from the House of Wrestling crowd. Tomoko has already shown an impactful wrestling style that has controlled the match the entire time thus far, an impressive debut no doubt. Ota becomes slightly sheepish, smiling and growing a little rosey in the cheeks. She folds her hands in thanks, before shaking her head and returning back to her serious self inside the match. By the time she turns back, Miles is getting to his feet. However, he doesn't run towards Ota, but instead runs away. Once he hits the ropes, Watson launches into a double backflip that concludes by leaping into the air and nailing Tomoko with a cutter! The House of Wrestling fans clap for the move, but Watson himself is hurting for it. Specifically his arm. He clutches it in pain, rolling on the mat for a moment before getting to his feet. He knows he can't stop here. Watson bounds towards the ropes again, leaping off for a legdrop! He connects easily, hooking Tomoko's leg. Unfortunately for him he isn't even able to get a two count. He'll need to do a lot more than that. On their way up, Ota grabs hold of his hurt arm again, but Watson rolls through, grabbing her arm instead. He leaps up onto the nearby turnbuckle, doing a quick rope walk before leaping off into a springboard DDT! The move takes a lot out of Miles, but Tomoko is having trouble getting up which tells him he's headed in the right direction Miles begins climbing the turnbuckle, going for something high risk... But Tomoko is on her feet in less time than he thought it would take. As he's on the top rope, she jumps up to clobber him in the face. She gives him another few right hands as she's climbing to meet him on the top rope. Once again, she puts him into a butterfly lock, but this time she lifts him up completely for a butterfly suplex off the top rope! The two crash to the mat below in a pile of body parts! Ota is able to crawl over to Miles and hook him in close...only for him to kick out after two! Both look pretty tired now, as Ota misses with a roundhouse. Watson capitalizes with a pele kick. As Tomoko has risen into the seated position, Watson gives her a sliding dropkick to the chest! Miles looks like he's on a roll, until he goes for the lariat. He forgets about his hurt arm, and immediately feels it as he tries to connect against Ota. She grabs hold, transitioning behind him and nails a tiger suplex that flattens him! She goes to lock in Gurenge (dragon sleeper) but he slides from the ring, holding his arm. He's only out there a few seconds, with the referee beginning his count and Tomoko awaiting for his return. When he does, he slides in on the far side, and runs up the nearest turnbuckle, kipping off into a spinning heel kick! Ota leaps into the air for a double knee facebreaker! Together they fall to the canvas, but Ota transitions into a wrist-clutch on the floor. She applies pressure, causing Watson to yell, before she yanks him up to his feet the way she had before. She uses his wrist to move him into the perfect position for the Paradise Pursuit (Northern Lights Suplex)! She bridges it up quite nicely for the three count that gets the newcomer a win for her debut! WINNERS Tomoko Ota FINISHING MOVE Paradise Pursuit (Northern Lights Suplex) |
Match Two Briana Mathews vs Jenna Sharpe Much to the excitement of the House crowd, they get to see the debut of another roster member tonight at Paragon! One of the more intriguing bits of each Supershow are the debutants, and this is no exception. Jenna Sharpe, the Canadian Wildcat, comes all the way down to Vegas to prove herself. The third generation superstar says it runs in her blood, which is exactly what we've seen from Brianna Mathews. Bri remains constant in her never say die attitude, and continues to be a force. The two make a point to shake one another's hands, then return to their corner before the bell rings. They tie up in the middle of the ring, trying to shift their weight from one side to the other. They shift control, before pushing off one another, coming to a stalemate. The crowd cheers as the two competitors look to each other, then out to the crowd again. A moment later, they go for a tie up again. This time Jenna is able to fake out Briana, gaining control of the tie up and shifting into a chokehold from behind. She keeps it applied for a few seconds, until she feels Mathews begin to slip. She recovers nicely though, hitting Briana with a snapmare and bringing her down to the canvas. Once there, she applies a hard chinlock that has Briana wincing. Sharpe has done a very good job thus far at keeping herself as the driving force in the match. Briana begins to battle back though, working her way up to her feet with right hands landing at Sharpe's back. She manages to get up, so Sharpe transitions into a headlock. Briana hits Jenna in the gut multiple times, so Sharpe takes back control by dropping Mathews with a headlock driver! You can hear the House crowd getting louder and louder for these two as the match continues on. Jenna helps Mathews to her feet, grabbing her back the head, but Briana knocks her away. Bri follows it up with a forearm to her chest, and another one! She lands a third one that backs Sharpe away from her completely. This prompts Mathews to rush for her, launching into a tilt-a-whirl headscissors down to the mat! They're both able to kip up though, until Briana hits a snapmare of her own! She bounds off the ropes and comes back with a shining wizard that smashes her knee right across Briana's face. She takes a moment to wave to the fans, ducking under the top rope and walking onto the apron. She taunts to the crowd, before leaping into a springboard swanton! But Jenna gets her knees up and connects right across Briana's back! She arches her back, yelling out and rolling across the mat. She uses the momentum to roll up to her feet, but by the time she is able to, Jenna Sharpe is already on her feet. She ends up behind Bri, jumping into a bulldog. On the mat, she applies a bow and arrow stretch that has Briana screaming out! Sharpe reels back, hoping for a tap but Briana shakes her head no, all the while rocking herself and trying to get out. Sharpe accidentally slips and Briana gets a hand free, reaching for the ropes. The referee begins a count and tells Sharpe that she needs to release the hold. She does, and Briana uses the ropes to get to her feet. She spins around, landing a dropkick right to Jenna's chest. Jenna stumbles back but is able to catch herself before falling. That is, until Briana Mathews rushes forward and spears the hell out of Jenna Sharpe! Her faces cheer loudly as Bri hooks Jenna's leg for the one...two...thkickout! Briana is wide-eyed, taking a moment to catch herself as Sharpe continues lying on the floor. Mathews gets to her feet, going to the other side of the ring again and waiting for Sharpe to get up. Once she does, Bri runs forward looking for a second spear...but Jenna sees it coming! She reverses it into a swinging neckbreaker! She keeps hold of Bri and rolls to their feet together, slamming her back into the canvas with a russian legsweep. She still keeps hold, but this time she continues lying on the mat. Sharpe transitions into an octopus stretch, again trying to get Briana to tap out! She keeps it held for a few seconds, but again Briana is beginning to slip. Instead of allowing her to work her way out, Jenna lets her go. Then, as Briana is getting to her feet, she works her way to her knees before Sharpe jumps into the Atomic Bomb (Basement Dropkick)! You can hear the kick echo through the MGM Grand, just before Jenna goes for a pin. Briana kicks out at two! Sharpe knows she's going to have to go a little harder, but needs a breather herself. She steps into the corner, waiting for Briana to get to her feet. Sharpe rushes her, going for a wheelbarrow facebuster. But the facebuster doesn't connect! Instead Mathews pushes her forward, with Sharpe landing on her knees! Briana capitalizes by hitting double knees to Sharpe's back! She's on a roll now and is feeling the momentum shift heavy towards her. She stalks Sharpe, waiting for her to get to her feet. Mathews attempts a huricanrana, leaping upon Jenna's shoulders! But Jenna is expecting it, and she won't let herself be taken down. Now Briana is hanging upside down in a precarious position. Sharpe uses all of her strength to try getting her up into a powerbomb position with Mathews fighting back! Unfortunately for Bri, Jenna is really trying to get her all the way up. Instead, Jenna hits a powerbomb into a double knee backbreaker! The House of Wrestling crowd are already cheering for the Canadian Wildcat when she locks in the Devil's Trap (Last Chancery)! This time Briana has nowhere to go and she's forced to tap out! Jenna Sharpe wins her debut match! WINNER Jenna Sharpe FINISHING MOVE Devil's Trap (Last Chancery) |
Match Three Violent Rules Holden Ross vs Archer The ever intimidating HoW Violent Champion walks out first. Archer walks out next, looking as sadistic as ever. Nobody has seen him in a wrestling ring since PWE Conquest, and it appears he came here specifically for a Violent Rules match. With both men in the ring and various objects scattered around, there was a dark shadow over the MGM Grand at that moment for sure. The bell rings and both men try to overpower one another, leading to Archer tossing Holden into the turnbuckle and going to town with jabs to the gut. Ross is able to break out of the corner by headbutting Archer to the face! The Architect of Ultraviolence stumbles back and Ross rushes him out of the corner. Unfortunately for Holden, Archer catches him around the wait, giving him an overhead release suplex that launches the big man near across the ring! Archer is showing his strength early in the game, but he slips below the ropes to the outside in order to indulge in the objects. He tosses some chairs into the ring, some random objects like a baking sheet, and then starts pulling out multiple light tubes. Light tube on light tube. After all, Archer is known for using light tubes. For now, however, he leaves them outside the ring and rolls back into. He's setting the baking sheet up in the corner, but he's taken way too long with everything and Holden has more than recovered. As soon as Archer goes to turn around, Ross nails him with a running big boot that smashes the back of his head into the baking sheet! He grabs Archer be the head, throwing him back into the corner head first so this time is face collides with the baking sheet. This time Holden exits the ring, but he's going for something specific. He reaches under the ring and pulls out a black velvet bag that he takes back into the ring with him. He opens it, pouring out a countless amount of thumbtacks right onto the canvas! Ross scoops Archer up and gives him one hell of a powerslam right onto the thumbtacks! The crowd winces at the sight of it as Archer yells out in pain. Holden goes for a pin, but Archer gets his shoulder up! Holden grabs hold of a nearby chair, only to turn around into Archer who PUNCHES the chair! Archer clutches his fist in pain, but the chair bounces back and smashes Holden right in the face! Only a crazy fucker would sacrifice their hand like that, but then again we've seen Holden wrap his own hand in barbedwire before. So I guess we're looking at two crazy fuckers. Either way, Archer unfolds the chair, setting it up in the middle of the ring. He scoops Ross up onto his shoulders, before spinning around and driving him right through the open chair with a death valley driver! The crunch of the chair echoes into the nosebleeds of the arena, right before Archer makes the cover. But Holden kicks out at two! Archer gets Holden to his feet, before tossing him over the ropes to the outside. Archer follows him out, but Holden throws right hands back at him. Finally, Holden gets smart and smashes him with another headbutt! Archer spins around, giving Ross time to capitalize by nailing him with a german suplex that connects with the steel steps! The crowd is chanting "Holy Shit" just after the back of Archer's head hits the steps, and he looks out. Ross rolls him over, but again Archer kicks out at two! Holden is becoming slightly frustrated. Holden picks him up into a gorilla press, holding him high above his head, and looking to drop him into the barricade. Archer is able to slip off his back though, pushing Holden himself into the barricade. Ross almost goes over but catches himself, though it's all for not when Archer smashes a glass tube across his back! He grabs another one - SMASH! ANOTHER - SMASH! AND ANOTHER - SMASH! There's neon gas and glass exploding every which way as Archer smashes two more light tubes on Holden. The last one lands right between Holden's eyes, taking him down to the floor in a puddle of blood. Archer lays across his body for the one...two...thrkickout!! Holden somehow gets his shoulder up, even after the absolute assault on him from all the light tubes! Archer is the one that is frustrated now, bleeding himself from all the glass that's all over the floor. He gets an idea, sweeping up all the glass shards into the same general area by using the sides of his shoes. He probably still gets glass in his shoes but with the adrenaline, he doesn't feel it. He reaches underneath the ring again, pulling out more and more light tubes only to chuck them into the same pile. The entire time he is doing this, Holden is having a hard time getting to his feet. He is gut all over his body, and there's blood pouring down his face. Archer lands a knee on his neck to push him back down when he sees he's getting up, but Ross fights back again. He gives Archer a hard chop to his chest that catches him off guard. He follows it up with an upward leaping uppercut that comes from out of nowhere and rocks Archer so much that you can see in his face that he forgets where he is for a moment. That's really all the current Champion needs is that split second, as he lifts Archer into the air. With a menacing yell, he drives Archer through the pile of glass with the H Bomb! It creates an absolutely bloody mess at ringside, but Ross is finally able to cover Archer for the three count! WINNER Holden Ross FINISHING MOVE H Bomb (Gonzo Bomb) |

Match Four Chris Night vs RAZE Ever since Foundations Three when Chris Night joined the House of Wrestling, he's been on an absolute tear. The Black Key Holder enters the ring, holding the key up high. After tonight, he'll be the only key holder left that has yet to use their key. A moment later, the large and intimidating RAZE walks down to the ring. He's the first of The Division to get inside the HoW walls, so there's no telling what they may have in store. For now, this is a simple guest match, but great odds with a competitor like Chris Night to represent the House. As they stand across from one another, they couldn't look more different. The bell rings and the both of them immediately launch into attack mode. However, Chris is more defense, then attack. He knows RAZE is going to try rushing him so he rolls out of the way, strikes RAZE in then back and then rolls away again. They continue on this path the few times RAZE tries to rush him. However, he eventually becomes hip to Night's strategy, and stops before attempting a strike. Chris is caught off guard as RAZE moves towards his new direction, causing him to jump into a crossbody. RAZE catches him though, yelling out to the crowd before tossing him across the ring with a fall away slam. Night knows he can't get hit with too many power moves like that while being able to fight on. He rolls with the movement his body is going so he can kip up next to the turnbuckle. He leaps to the second rope, before jumping off with a missile dropkick. It plants RAZE right in the chest and he falls to the canvas. He knows he can't let go of control, bounding off the ropes as RAZE is getting to his feet, striking him with a spinning heel kick! He kips up again, RAZE definitely unable to keep up with that sort of speed. Night hits the ropes once again, this time springboarding off the ropes into a senton! He lays his back across RAZE's chest and hooks his leg for a pin attempt, only for the Brute to kick out. It's not going to phase him though, as he guns towards the ropes yet again. This time he hits a front flip to the ropes, into a backflip that looks like he hopes to connect with a splash! Only RAZE gets his knees up, driving them into Chris' gut. They both get to their feet, The Brute pushing Night back to the ropes and whipping him across the ring. Night bounds back into a flapjack that sees him tossed wayyyy up high and crashes to the mat below. RAZE grabs hold of his arm in order to yank him back to his feet, or right into a spinning spinebuster! RAZE is nothing but aggressive, transitioning into a chinlock. He lays a few right hands into Night, which ultimately allows Chris to move out of the lock by rolling backwards. He bounds off the ropes and strikes with an enzugiri! Night tries to apply a modified dragon sleeper as RAZE is getting up, but he is being overpowered. Instead of letting RAZE take control, he drops him with a reverse DDT! But he doesn't let go. Instead, he now tries to apply the same dragon sleeper on the mat. Unfortunately for him, RAZE is not super happy about it. In response, he lands multiple blows to Night's back. Although The Brute is fighting threw it, Night has yet to let go of the hold and now that RAZE is on his feet again, it's too late. He now lands a few right hands to Night's gut. Once his hold is loose enough, RAZE reverses it by throwing his shoulder over his, and lifting Chris into a stalling suplex position. He holds him there in the air, showing his strength to the rest of the House. When he's ready, he drops Night to the canvas again with a brainbuster! Chris looks completely flattened on the mat, and so RAZE floats over and goes for a pin. However Chris gets his shoulder up after the two, causing the House crowd to cheer! RAZE doesn't look happy about it though, getting to his feet and yelling out to the crowd to shut up. Of course, it only makes them cheer louder. Instead, he decides to make them regret it by turning his attention back to Night, who is getting to his feet. RAZE clutches him around his midsection, driving him down with a spinning belly-to-belly! The force is a lot for Chris, and compared to RAZE, he's flung around like a ragdoll. The Brute tries for a second pin, but again, Chris gets his shoulder up after two giving way to another roar from the crowd! Again, RAZE gets up and tries to yell at the crowd, who are louder than ever. He grabs Chris by his head, getting him to his feet but shoving him into a gutwrench position. He looks out to the crowd with crazy eyes, as if he was doing this to them. Then, he lifts Night up into a gutwrench powerbomb position but doesn't complete it. Instead, he transitions into the match-ending Atom Bomb (Chingona Bomb) and it looks like the end for Night! But Chris slips off his back as the crowd roars approval. RAZE turns around into Lights Out (RKO) from Chris. Night is tired, of course, but he makes his way to the turnbuckle, and climbs to the top. As the House continue to cheer, he leaps into the Nightmare Splash (Five Star Frog Splash)! Chris hooks the leg, bringing RAZE's leg allll the way back, getting the three count over The Brute to the roar of the crowd. WINNER Chris Night FINISHING MOVE Nightmare Splash (Five Star Frog Splash) |
Match Five XIX Wrestling Darkhorse Championship Jessi Ozborne(c) vs FAITHE The two competitors made their way out to the ring alone, which gave the impression that they have may have made some sort of truce for this match, or told their respective teams to stay back. That being said, there was an interesting pressure placed on this match, with both competitors knowing they'd be across the ring from one another tomorrow as well. Not to mention the issue that these two have had specifically, dating back to Home Invasion in the Keys to the House match. It's clear that the House crowd respect Jessi but the fan favorite is definitely FAITHE. The Las Vegas Fever Dream makes her way out to cheers, soaking them in before the match begins. The two do their best to play defense and to feel each other out, not even trying for a blow within the first minute. Seemingly out of nowhere, Jessi launches into a spinning backfist that strikes FAITHE right across the jaw with a loud smack. It echoes through the MGM Grand. For a moment it looks like FAITHE is out as her body becomes limp and hits the floor, but that must be where she gains consciousness as she rolls backwards, onto her feet again. Unfortunately for her, that's when Ozborne blasts her in the face with a running knee! She gives a small show, shouting out to the crowd, but not giving it so much time that it throws her off track. She turns back to FAITHE with a handspring, transitioning seamlessly into a stunner! Jessi is looking mighty impressive now, as she clamps an ankle lock, trying to get FAITHE to tap! FAITHE pushes herself up on one leg and both arms, screaming out in pain the whole time. Ozborne pushes her forward but she catches herself, still on three limbs until she pushes herself up to one leg! Once she's there, she dives forward and into a roll, flinging Jessi across the ring and face first into the turnbuckle! At least, she would've gone face first, but Ozborne is smart and catches herself last minute. However she isn't able to catch FAITHE coming from behind and nailing her with a tiger suplex! Jessi is feeling the impact, but rolls to her feet almost an instinct, to meet FAITHE. Ozborne receives a kick to the gut and doubles over, being thrown into what could be a piledriver position. Indeed, she tries to lift Jess for a piledriver but is unable to. She tries for a second time, and is still unable to. But wait! FAITHE is able to lift Jessi up for a powerbomb, sending her crashing to the canvas below with a sitout version! The crowd are on their feet for the crimson devil as she holds Jessi in for a pin. Ozborne gets her shoulder up before the three! Out of the pin, Jessi knew she needed to kick it up a notch, and she starts by giving FAITHE such a hard armdrag that it causes her to roll under the bottom rope to the outside. Jessi bounds of the ropes and hits a suicide dive to the outside that takes out FAITHE. She follows it up by slamming her face against the side of the ring before rolling back in. The referee begins a count on FAITHE, who takes a few seconds but does get to the apron and then launches a springboard DDT before the ten count. The crowd goes nuts for the move out of nowhere, which almost seems to surprise FAITHE as well. She helps Jessi get to her feet, hooking her into a butterfly position. FAITHE then lifts her up for what looks to be a tiger driver, but Ozborne is able to spin up and over her arm! She takes hold of that same arm, spinning FAITHE into a neckbreaker! She yanks FAITHE up to her feet by her shoulder, before giving her a hard uranage right back down to the canvas! Jessi isn't done there though, pointing to FAITHE before walking over to the turnbuckle. She climbs to the top, taking a moment to look to the crowd before leaping into a 450 splash! ...but FAITHE rolls out of the way! Jessi sees it last second and is able to land on her feet, but she stumbles forward, unable to completely stop her momentum. By the time she turns around though, Faithe high kicks her to the midsection and drops her with When You Believe (Double Underhook Reverse Kneeling Facebuster)! The Las Vegas Fever Dream rolls her over and tries for a pin but no such luck. Back on their feet, FAITHE hooks her arm around Ozorne's head like she's going for a DDT position. Jessi spins out of it, but FAITHE still wants to make it right with a lariat. A lariat that Jessi is able to duck, and end up behind FAITHE. She grabs her, before nailing her with the Bae-Blade (Ripcord Spinning Heel Kick)! She's just as hopeful as he tries for a pin herself, but FAITHE kicks out after two! Both are so close to getting the three count they can taste it, but which one will get there first? The pair get to their feet, suddenly trading right hands. One after the other, they both take the closed fists. That is, until FAITHE's become more rapid, hitting Jessi with two right hands before she can retaliate, then a third. She follows up the third with a forearm to Ozborne's face that gets the crowd going around, FAITHE really gaining momentum now. She hoists Jessi onto her shoulders in the fireman carry position, stopping to catch her footing. She's obviously going for the Fever Dream Street (Phantom Driver), but with Jessi wiggling every which way, her balance is thrown off even more. It gets so bad, Ozborne is able to flip herself forward and off FAITHE's shoulders, landing on her feet! She positions herself behind FAITHE, planting her to the canvas with Disenchanted (House Call)! She tucks her in for the package pin that typically comes right after, and the referee makes the three count! WINNER AND STILL XIX Wrestling Darkhorse Champion, Jessi Ozborne! FINISHING MOVE Disenchanted (House Call) |
Match Six House of Wrestling Civil Championship Bianca Page(c) vs Myra Rivers It's finally time, the moment Myra Rivers and the majority of the House crowd has waited for. The one-on-one match between Myra and Bianca Page. These two have been at each others throats for months as Myra has chased the Civil Championship. Luckily for her, winning the White Key secured her a guaranteed title shot. Instead of taking the surprise route, Myra used the key to finally get a fair match with Bianca. A match, yes, but we'll see how fair it is. As both make their way to the ring, you can see both believe they'll be walking away with the belt by the end. We start with a typical back and forth that doesn't see either taking control just yet. They don't want to gas themselves out before they know what the night holds for them. The turning point into the match comes when a straight kick catches Bianca in the chest, pushing her back. Myra hops to the second rope, but Page rushes her. Thinking quickly, Myra leaps into a Lou Thesz Press, going to town on Bianca like she's never been able to before. Eventually, Bianca is able to throw her momentum and end up on top of Myra. She gives her a hard forearm to the face before getting up. She bounds off the ropes, coming back towards Rivers with a flying forearm this time that catches her across the face. She nails her with a bridging german suplex, trying for a fast win but Myra kicks out after a one. Page tries to follow up with a bicycle kick, but Rivers is able to duck, before catching Page right on the chin with a roundhouse! The smack echoes through the arena. She doesn't stop there though. As Bianca turns around on impact, Myra rushes forward and leaps into a bulldog that takes Bianca down to the canvas. Myra begins to climb to the top rope, but she's vastly underestimated the amount of time she thought Bianca would be down. Page starts going to town with forearms so Myra stays put on the top rope. This gives Bianca time to climb to the second rope, give Myra a couple more right hands, before centering herself more in the middle. She jumps into a super hurricanrana that sees Myra soar through the air and crash to the ring below! Bianca gets to her feet, leaving Rivers on the mat, and gives the crowd a taunt. She knows she's controlling the match right now. She turns around to see Rivers getting to her feet, so she rushes her, leaping into a meteora. But wait! As Bianca leaps up with her knees, Myra leaps up to meet her, flipping her into a sitout position that causes them to crash to the canvas in a modified sitout powerbomb! "This is Wrestling" chants can be heard in the crowd as both women lay on the mat, regaining their stamina. The get to their feet at the same time, with Bianca spinning around into a discus clothesline that catches Myra off guard. She grabs Rivers into a headlock, trying her best to put more and more pressure on it, only to be lifted into the air for a backdrop. Myra follows it up by lifting Bianca into the air again, this time colliding with her knee on the way down for a backbreaker. She holds Bianca there for a few seconds, putting pressure on both sides of her body, against Rivers' knee. She transitions into a camel clutch, with Page on the mat. Bianca yells out in pain, with Rivers trying to put more and more pressure onto it. Suddenly, Bianca fights through the pain, working her way up to her feet. However, Myra is standing over her. So, as Bianca raises to her feet, she ends up sitting on Page's shoulders. Bianca takes a few steps with Myra on her shoulders, trying not to fall. The goal is probably to show this feat to the crowd, just before she takes Myra down with an electric chair drop! Both women are beginning to show signs of fatigue, but there's no way they're going to stop fighting. Bianca starts to stomp on Myra, trying anything she can to wear down her nemesis. Myra is forced to roll to the other side of the ring in order to avoid the stomping. Bianca attempts a spinning forearm but comes up short when Myra ducks! But Bianca gets smart, stopping just on the other side of Myra, only to turn back with a lariat going the opposite direction! But Myra sees that too! She snatches hold of Bianca's arm as she comes by with an attempted lariat, twisting it into the Rebel Stomp (Eat Defeat) and the crowd goes nuts! She goes to hook Bianca's leg! ...but there's no counting. Instead, she looks to see the referee telling Veronica Taylor to get off the apron. You can physically see Myra sigh as she sees Veronica. Rivers rushes her, trying to knock her off the apron, but Veronica jumps back to outside of the ring with a smile on her face. It's clear that she's planning on distracting the referee during any pin Myra tries from here on out. Suddenly, the House audience begins to cheer. Veronica can't see it, but standing behind her is former Civil Champion, Davina King. Myra points to her, and Veronica turns around into a lariat! Davina sidelines her by planting her with SHOOK (Sitout Glam Slam) at ringside. Davina nods to Myra, as if to say things were all hers again, and Myra nods back in thanks. She turns back around to receive multiple right hands from Bianca, but Myra starts throwing her own. A couple seconds of fists flying and Myra overpowers Bianca! She spins her around, gives one final look on the audience before nailing her with the Spirit Breaker (Corkscrew Neckbreaker)! The crowd is on their feet as Myra flips Bianca over, hooking her leg for the three count! The crowd count along as the referee does, showing just how much they love Myra! WINNER AND NEW House of Wrestling Civil Champion, Myra Rivers! FINISHING MOVE Spirit Breaker (Corkscrew Neckbreaker) |
Headliner House of Wrestling Grand Championship Alex Andrews(c) vs Gavin Grimes Arguably the most esteemed guest we've ever had, Gavin Grimes makes his way out to a mixed crowd. They're very aware of Gavin, not just from his years in the business, but from his recent run with GEW. With Davina still holding the GEW Spotlight Championship, the HoW audience had become very familiar with the company. Either way, they know all about this man. When the Grand Champion makes her way out, there's no denying how much they support Alex Andrews. Her reign has seen her caliber of opponents only continue to grow, so it only makes sense that now she stares across the ring from Grimez. The Grand Champion does a great job keeping up with the ring veteran, and she makes sure she doesn't go all in so she doesn't get caught with her hand in the jar. So to speak. Grimez is eventually able to strike Alex with a slingblade, bringing the first competitor down to the canvas. He gives the HoW audience something to cheer about by landing an impressive running shooting star press! Gavin tries for a pin, but Andrews kicks out with ease. He'll have to do much more to keep the Champion down. The pair get to their feet, where Grimez tries for a wild overhead swing that Andrews dodges. She uses the moment to capitalize, nailing him with an STO and smacking his face on the mat. Gavin rolls over to the turnbuckle and uses the ropes to help him to his feet. Now that Andrews has him in the corner, she goes to town with multiple forearms. Alex rushes to the other side of the ring, running back and leaping into a flying forearm. But Gavin ducks out of the way, sending Alex face first into the turnbuckle. Gavin hoists her onto the top of the turnbuckle, followed by giving her a few right hands. He climbs up to the top rope, only to be pushed from the top by Andrews! Gavin is quick thinking though, and is able to land on his feet after some stumbling. Alex stands up on the turnbuckle, before leaping into a flying spear that looks like it absolutely flattens Gavin! Alex hooks his leg but isn't able to get the three count before Gavin throws his shoulder into the air. Alex helps him to his feet, only to have Gavin grab her by the jaw and nail her with a jawbreaker. Andrews stumbles back, clutching her jaw, and bounces right into the ropes behind her. As she bounds back, she runs right into Gavin, who takes her over with a snap suplex! Not wanting to give up control at all, Gavin grabs her by the arm, yanking her to her feet. He twists her wrist into a wrist-clutch and then strikes with a bicycle knee with a SMACK! Grimes rushes to the ropes, bounding back, only for Andrews to JUMP to her feet out of nowhere! With a second wind, she leaps into the air and takes Gavin down with a leg lariat. Andrews grabs him by his legs, turning him over into a Texas Cloverleaf. She reels back as hard as she can, looking for a submission finish. Gavin yells out in pain, trying to push himself forward to reach the ropes. When he can't, he uses every ounce of leg power he can to push Andrews forward! She releases the hold, and is sent through the ropes, crashing to the outside. Grimes takes the time to regain his breath, holding his legs for a moment. He takes a step out to the apron, waiting for Alex to get to her feet. He leaps from the apron into a dropkick that sends Andrews into the barricade. The referee counts as the two three hands, Alex battling back despite just being kicked into the barricade. Gavin lifts her up, giving her a backdrop right onto the side of the apron! Once there, he pushes Alex under the bottom rope and into the ring. Gavin himself makes it back into the ring before the ten count. He stands in the corner, with Alex beginning to stir. Once she gets to her knees, Gavin nails her with the Sac-Town Kick (Superkick to Kneeling Opponent) that echoes throughout the MGM Grand! He lays across her for a pin. The referee drops to the mat for a one...two...thrkickout! Andrews throws her shoulder up at the last moment, prompting the MGM Grand Garden Arena to go completely ballistic. Gavin smiles in response, never one to turn down a tough opponent. He grabs Alex and yanks her to her feet, immediately putting her into a headlock. Gavin is about to drop Alex with The Crowning (Headlock Driver), when Andrews is able to spin out of the headlock, transitioning into a backslide pin! The referee drops to make a count but Grimes powers out. The two get onto their feet again, with Gavin rolling through Alex's feet, sweeping her up into the Rollup of Doom! He's able to get another two count but Andrews powers out! This leads to the pair getting on their feet at the same time, standing face to face. Alex takes her right arm, reeling back and chopping Gavin across his chest with a SMACK! Grimes holds his chest in pain, but in response, reels back and gives Andrews a hard CHOP of his own! Andrews, too, grunts in pain and holds the spot on her chest. There's definitely going to be a huge red mark there. Andrews takes her same arm, reeling back again and landing a second huge CHOP to Gavins chest! Grimes takes his arm, going for a second CHOP of his own. Instead, Alex brings up both forearms, blocking Gavin's arm! Now with control of it, she uses the same arm to twist him around and drop him with Hella Rough (Killswitch)! The crowd is on their feet when Alex flips him over for the three count! WINNERS AND STILL House of Wrestling Grand Champion, Alex Andrews! FINISHING MOVE Hella Rough (Killswitch) |
Main Event PURE of Heart Cup House of Wrestling Pure Championship Jewel Chayse vs Gloria Ramirez This one is for all the marbles. Both of these women went through the competitors and outlasted until the end in order to compete in this match right here. The victor will not only walk away with the PURE of Heart Cup, but also with the mew House of Wrestling Pure Championship. Coincidentally, they are also on each other's bad sides when it comes to the teams they bat for. The Queens of Chaos and Nightfall are even facing each other tomorrow night, but tonight, it's all about Jewel and Gloria. The bell rings and we begin with both circling around one another. They meet in the middle of the ring for a tie up, and push against each other. It's such a stalemate that the force is causing both women onto their knees as they continue pushing against each other in the tie up position. Gloria is able to transition into an armwrench to the side, taking Jewel's arm. They stay in this position for a couple seconds as Ramirez applies pressure, but Chayse is able to roll forward and out of the hold. She tries to get Gloria to release the hold on her wrist, by fighting back with the same arm. Gloria torques it even more though, forcing Jewel to the canvas. Chayse is stuck for a moment, until she crawls through Gloria's legs, forcing her to release Jewel's wrist. Jewel also sweeps Gloria's legs in the process, flipping her legs up into a modified bridge pin but only gets a quick two. Ramirez uses the modified bridge to her advantage, reaching forward and first tucking Jewel's legs into her, then grabbing her arms for a bow and arrow stretch! Chayse yells out, so close to the ropes but unable to grab them since Gloria has her arms. Jewel has to bite the ropes in order to get her rope break! The referee has Ramirez release. The two both roll to their feet, but Jewel is on the attack, which catches Gloria off guard when she eats a european uppercut. She stumbles back, but then eats a kick to the midsection, followed by a tiger driver! Jewel keeps Gloria pulled in, hopeful for an early pin off the impact. But Gloria reaches up and grabs the bottom rope, getting her first rope break. On their feet again, the two go back to circling one another. They do the honorable thing and tie up again, this time in a test of strength position. They sway every which way as control continues to shift, until Gloria is able to roll backwards, clutching Jewel from behind, with Jewel's own arms across her chest in an X position. Chayse fights against it, but Ramirez puts more pressure onto her, now forcing her onto her knees, her own arms still across her chest. Gloria tosses her own weight backwards, locking Jewel into a cross-arm surfboard! She reels back, trying to get Chayse to tap! Jewel is able to toss her legs over her body, forcing Gloria's shoulders to the mat. The referee begnis to count, which is when Gloria releases the hold as to not accidentally pin herself. Jewel rolls through, grabbing Gloria's arms from behind now, and locking in the same cross-arm surfboard stretch! As Gloria starts to slip, Jewel transitions her up to her feet, where she applies an octopus stretch instead. However she doesn't keep that applied for long either, twisting her whole body into a lariat that knocks the wind out of Gloria! With Gloria lying on her stomach, Jewel locks in an STF! She reels back on it, trying with all her might to get Gloria to tap. Finally, Ramirez reaches the bottom rope for another rope break, and Chayse is forced to let go. She backs away from Gloria, letting her get onto her feet again. Once there, she rushes Ramirez, but Gloria had expected this. She snaps Jewel down to the canvas with an arm drag. Gloria flips her over, locking in a Muta lock! Chayse isn't able to move at all, however she is near the ropes. She tries her best to wiggle free, but has to use another rope break. It's become evident that the two that lasted the longest in the Pure tournament, would have strategies on the rules. Currently, it looks like both are trying to get the other to use their rope breaks. And it's working. On their feet again, Gloria strikes Jewel in the face with her knee, then takes her down with a headscissors. She keeps the headscissors locked in, trying to scissor her legs to create more damage. Chayse sees only one way out of the headscissors without using her last ropebreak. She clutches Gloria's legs around her neck harder, and then uses her strength to lift to her feet! This now leaves Gloria in an alabama slam position, but Chayse spins her into an air raid bomb! Chayse tries for a pin, but Gloria is able to kick out and the House audience cheer! Jewel grabs her by her legs again, lifting her up into a leg trap! She pushes Gloria towards the ropes, applying pressure. So even when Ramirez wants to reverse the move, she needs to walk forward onto her hands. As she does, there's no room in front of her except for her to grab the ropes. Thus, she does, using her last rope break. Jewel easily lets go, and lets out a chuckle. She had definitely planned on that happening. Gloria is going to have to be careful now, and her facial expression tells us she's aware of this, as they begin to circle each other again. Jewel is circling faster, getting excited. Gloria is much slower, calculated, because she can't afford not to be just yet. They go to tie up again, but Ramirez transitions into a full nelson. From there she transitions into a snapmare, applying a chinlock to Jewel. She presses her knee to the back of her head as she reels back on the chinlock! Jewel is suddenly in a world of hurt, unsure of what to do. Jewel has to lunge forward and get her foot on the ropes in order to force a rope break. Once released, she rolls to her corner, looking across to Gloria while rubbing her chin. They were back on even playing field, there were no more chances from here on out. Jewel goes for a spinning elbow, which Gloria is able to duck and grasp Jewel from behind. She slams her with a backdrop. She transitions into a modified armbar by wrenching Jewel's arm behind her. Chayse follows up by planting an elbow to Gloria's face. Ramirez releases, stumbling back. But Jewel makes the mistake in thinking Gloria wouldn't recover as fast as she does. She knees Chayse as she's turning around. Gloria locks shoulders with Jewel, which looks something prior to a suplex. Instead, Gloria hits multiple right knees to Jewel's gut! It The move looks killer, and gets even more devastating when Ramirez tops it out with a fisherman suplex! She throws so much power into the move when she brings Jewel over, that she doesn't even bridge it. Instead, she lies on the mat, before sitting up into the seated position. She looks exhausted by how much power she's put into it, before covering Chayse. But Jewel is able to kick out at two! Both look like they are beginning to wear thin now. Gloria yanks Jewel to her feet by her arm, going for a chickenwing that Jewel is able to spin out of. She continues spinning until she drops Gloria with a hard neckbreaker. She combos that by rolling with Gloria up to their feet again, only to bring Ramirez back down to the mat with a legsweep DDT! Continuing her assault on Gloria's neck, she rolls Ramirez to her feet once again. This time she puts Gloria into a suplex position, but then spins her around into a michinoku driver that drops Gloria right onto her neck! The referee drops and Jewel makes the cover by the ropes, but it doesn't matter because Gloria has no more rope breaks. But Ramirez kicks out just before the referees hand hits the mat for the three count! The crowd erupts, and Jewel crumbles to the mat on the other side, tired and wanting to regain her own injury. The crowd are going crazy for the amazing display of technical wrestling by these two tonight. Gloria is able to bring herself to the seated position again, only for Jewel to come up behind her again. She applies a seated octopus stretch. However, Chayse doesn't really apply pressure in the stretch tactic. Instead, she fiercely drivers her elbow into Gloria's chest over and over and over again! It's getting hard to watch as Gloria continues to eat shot after shot after shot. She crumbles into a ball, looking as if she may have passed out from the pain! Jewel shoves her away, and yells to the referee to check her. The ref walks up to Jewel, raising her hand to see if she was knocked out. If her arm fell, we'd know the match was over. He raises her arm, and it begins to fall...but she holds it high! The crowd cheer again as Gloria refuses to give up. They both get to their feet, yet again going for a circle, but both are haggard and tired. They begin to battle by throwing forearms at one another. Gloria rushes forward, rolling into a cartwheel that lands her behind Jewel. Gloria grabs her into the Fade 2 Glory (Dragon Sleeper)! Jewel begins to panic, moving every which way and trying her damndest to get out of the submission! Ramirez reels back on it, knowing it best for her to get Jewel on the mat. She begins taking Jewel to the canvas with it, with Chayse still in pain. But Jewel reaches forward and grabs the ropes! But it doesn't matter! Since they've both used their rope breaks, the fact that Jewel is holding the ropes means it's completely legal for Gloria to continuing applying her dragon sleeper! She reels back even harder, and Jewel is now just holding onto the ropes so that Gloria can't take her to the mat. Jewel is almost turning a different color now as she holds on for dear life, Ramirez yanking on her with the dragon sleeper! Finally, it's too much for Jewel. Her hands must've been red raw by that point, and she has to let go of the ropes, falling backwards fully into the Fade 2 Glory! Chayse is forced to tap, ending the finals of the PURE of Heart tournament in one HELL of match! The PURE of Heart Cup is placed inside the ring as the Pure Championship is handed to Gloria. The Nightfall crew, and Alex Andrews come to the ring, with Chris Night hoisting Gloria on his shoulders as streamers fall, congratulating Gloria on a tough tournament win! WINNER of the PURE of Heart Cup AND NEW House of Wrestling Pure Champion, Gloria Ramirez! FINISHING MOVE Fade 2 Glory (Dragon Sleeper) |
