LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena
”Puppeteer” by Rightfield plays to open up Foundations, as the former HoW Grand Champion, Jessi Ozborne, makes her way to the ring. She’s dressed this time in a blank, black crop top and a pair of ripped skinny jeans, her usual circular shades drawn across her face. She passes by a small part of the crowd, decked out in QoC merchandise, raising up paper signs that say “#HER SECTION”. Jessi doesn’t pay them any mind however, making it very clear she’s not in the mood for fan service. She climbs into the ring, before gesturing for production to cut her music.
“I’m not gonna start with the usual schtick. I’m not gonna throw up a wall of excuses, or talk about how Jessi Ozborne is still HER…matter of fact…I’m not even gonna talk about Jessi Ozborne at all. Instead, I wanna tell you a story about a little girl named ‘Jessica’.”
Jessi removes her shades, clipping them to the collar of her shirt before continuing.
“Jessica was a bit of an emotional kid. Had been for a good portion of her life. Her favourite thing to do, it seemed, was cry about everything. Broke a finger off her favourite doll? Cried about it. Coloured even just a scribble outside the lines? Had a good cry about it. Fell over, even when there wasn’t a scratch or bruise in sight? There went the waterworks. But through it all, her father was right there, ready to wipe away the tears and say ‘Shed your skin, and begin again.’”
Jessi pauses for a moment after those last words. A low “Ooo” comes from the crowd, as anyone familiar with the Queens of Chaos has now caught on to the origin of their slogan.
“Jessica’s father did everything for her. He kept her head up when she was feeling down, sat her in front of the TV and exposed her to the world of professional wrestling. The very thing that she’d end up wanting to do for the rest of her life. So you can imagine how devastated she became when he was gone before she could even lace up her first pair of boots.”
Jessi’s eyes start to gloss over.
“But despite that, Jessica pushed on for both of them. Despite the highs and the lows, despite being told she wasn’t big enough to reach the top of the mountain, or that she was too young, or that she didn’t have that “IT” factor. She took the doubt, threw it out, and treated success as a guarantee. Because in her eyes, there was no other way. Along the way she just kept saying about her dad, ‘I don’t know if I’ve earned the right to say he'd be proud of me. But I know I'm well on my way.’ So she reached the pinnacle of that sport that her dad made her fall in love with, and in that moment, as the prize for everything she had fought for was being handed to her, one thought that glossed over all the other’s was…
‘I’ve finally earned the right.’
And that was just before a ghost of her past came storming right down to the ring, and seized the opportunity to take that right from her.”
Jessi wells up a bit, fighting back a few tears before continuing.
“It’s plain to see who ‘Jessica’ is, and I’m sorry for wasting your time with the obvious origin story. But I need you to understand there are two sides to every story out there. I’m not mad at Chris Night for finishing his, all things considered. Eight years since she’s been at the very top of this business. Endless travel, endless pain, endless time spent away from his family just so he could grind his way to where he is now. I can respect that. He got to finish his story…but at the same time, it left the final pages of mine bare.”
Jessi quiets her inflection and tone a bit as she says her next words.
“And that incompletion, that left me with a lot to think about. So I went backstage, went to the bathroom to wipe the blood from my face…and I couldn’t help but let the tears come out. I felt more like young Jessica at that moment, than I had in my entire career up to this point…Except I didn’t have my father to come wipe away the tears. I didn’t have my father to kiss it all better. I didn’t have my father to tell me it was gonna be okay. All I had was me, and my reflection in the mirror, asking me ‘What the fuck are you gonna do about it?’”
Jessi begins to get riled up, almost as if she was asking herself that question for the first time.
“So I started huffing, I started puffing, I started slapping myself in the face until it was bloody all over again, and I said “I’m not DONE, I’m not RUNNING, I’m not QUITTING!! I am the true House of Wrestling Grand Champion, and EVERYBODY HERE!! FUCKING!! KNOWS IT!!
Despite her rocky relationship with the fans, they can’t help but get behind the passion in every word she’s saying, giving her a rapturous ovation for them. She turns her attention to the hard camera and speaks directly into it.
“So I want you to listen up, Chris Night. You got the ending to your story. Congratulations to you and yours. I’m happy for you. But now’s my turn. You got me when I didn’t see you coming. After I had just been through a war of my own. But deep down inside you know for a fact that you only did it because you can’t take me at 100%...and you damn sure won’t be able to do it with the extra fire I have lit under me now. I’m coming back for what’s mine, and I’m gonna prove what everybody here already knows, and that’s that Jessi Ozborne is HER! That’s not a threat, that’s a promise, and when The Queen promises, The Queen delivers. YOU’RE! FUCKING!! WELCOME!”
The crowd cheers as Jessi throws down the microphone, the reception notably leaning a lot more positive than it has in times previous. She climbs out of the ring, finally giving her attention to the “#HER SECTION” and giving them their high-fives as she makes her exit up the ramp.
The show cuts to Civil Champion Myra Rivers backstage. As she holds her title, she’s definitely in a great mood considering the title defense that she managed to secure a couple of weeks ago. She does look like she’s got plenty to say as she begins to express her thoughts.
Myra Rivers: Two weeks ago, I managed to retain this Civil Championship against McKena Hardy and hey, personally? That was a hell of a defense. It was a great match and McKena was a hell of an opponent that brought the best out of me. I will give her credit where credit is due. Unfortunately, as she proved by the way she responded to one of my tweets on social media, reading comprehension isn’t her friend. She thought that something I said meant that I said that she learned her lesson or something. I never said that she did. Hell, I never even said “I hope she learned her lesson”. I said that I WOULD’VE liked to say that but that I knew deep down that she wouldn’t and with the way that she responded to that tweet…
I was right.
All I really have to say in response to that is that she’s a grown adult and she SHOULD be above petty name calling that should’ve stayed in high school. It’s a damn shame, really. She thinks that doing such childish shit is going to make me mad. But honestly, I’m not angry with her and I never REALLY was. I’m sad for her honestly. But, at the end of the day, all I can do is accept that she has chosen to go on a different path and that it’s not my place to try to “bring her back into the light”. It’s unfortunate that she chooses to represent a younger generation in the fashion that she does when there are many wrestlers her age that are brighter, shining examples of what the future of wrestling should be, but c’est la vie on that.
I’ve got to move forward and that’s exactly what I will do. Because I am going to be blunt and honest with you all, as I generally tend to be.
I don’t feel like I’ve accomplished what I’ve set out to do with my CIvil Championship.
Myra takes a pause as her expression becomes a little more determined and serious.
Myra Rivers: Because ultimately, before I won this title, I made it a mission of mine to win this title and bring some respectability back to this championship after that chaotic, mess of a reign that Bianca Page had before me. I made it a mission to be one of the brighter shining lights of this company among a growing sea of darkness that’s surrounding this company. Trust me, I am very well aware of other situations going on. I know that the people in charge… and this is the best way I can say it without getting myself into some trouble here… they haven’t exactly shown that they can be trustworthy. I’ve got to be prepared for anything that this company throws my way. I know I am not necessarily someone that mixes in with all the chaos that goes on around here. In fact, I might be the most pure, technical wrestler there is on the roster that is generally focused on her craft inside of the ring and not all the drama going on around here. But, as YOUR Civil Champion, I am going to make sure that this title doesn’t fall into the wrong hands. It thankfully didn’t when I dispatched McKena two weeks ago.
I’m going to keep being that shining light. I’m going to keep setting the example for how this business and this company needs to be represented. I’m going to stay strong, keep my head up and keep fighting because even though I am the Civil Champion and have had a great run, an inspiring run, and if I’m being honest an UNDERRATED run here in House of Wrestling, even though I am, here and everywhere else I wrestle, a quadruple champion, hashtag Myra Four Belts or whatever you want to call it, I’m NOT resting on my laurels. I’m the conscience of this company, the one wrestler here that you can ALWAYS count on to do the right thing by this business. If you’re with me, great! If you don’t give a fuck about me, cool! But if you dare cross me, if you even THINK that you can fuck with me, I CAN be THAT BITCH that’s going to make your life miserable until you get brought to justice! Cross me, and you’ll see that the ‘Rebellious Vixen’ isn’t just some catchy nickname that I was first christened with 15 years ago!
So let that be my mission statement going forward for this company… and a warning to anyone who DARES to take this title from me for their selfish, egomaniacal, self-serving bullshit!
Myra takes her leave from the scene at this point, definitely hearing some strong, loud cheers, as the scene fades out.
Bash Blackstone: As I was saying, father, we're maybe a month away from signing this thing. As long as our dual event goes off without a hitch, then I see no reason as to why they wouldn't accept us into the Agora Network.
We open on a point of view that puts us behind the pairing of Bart and Bash Blackstone. Bash is explaining his plans to his father, always the one to be scheming. Meanwhile, Bart listens intently. He's recently made a business deal with his son.
Bart Blackstone: When I instructed Jenson to give Veronica the win at Red Moon Rising, I did so with the vote of faith that this deal was already done. Am I to believe that it's not?
Bash Blackstone: It basically is.
Bart Blackstone: Basically is doesn't mean it is.
Bash Blackstone: March 24th, we're hosting the first of a series of mini Supershows entilted Metaverse. Each show will involve one other company, a sort of meshing of worlds, if you will. The first one will see us colliding with Liberty Pro. This will also be the first introduction to the Agora Network. It'll show them that we want to play ball, it's foolproof.
Bart brought a hand to his chin, thinking things over. It's clear to see that maybe he would've made a separate decision had he been given this information prior. Still, he nodded.
Bart Blackstone: Fair enough, son. We'll see where this leads, but do not let me down.
Bash Blackstone: Of course not, father.
The pairing turn towards the nearby door, walking through without ever realizing there's a camera. In the hallway, we hear Bash still speaking to his father about the future.
Bash Blackstone: ...and I was thinking Veronica would look great on the next poster...
The camera turns, showing that Jenson Idol was in the room with the Blackstone's the entire time. Yet, it looks like not only had he been ignored but they forgot he was in the room and left him there. His eyebrow is arched, looking as if he may have also made a questionable decision. We made fade out.
Backstage at the Grand Garfen Arena.
BEA CARTER: Ehat does it look like? Standing in the middle of the ring? Thousands of eyes live and by broadcast on you and only you? What does it look likr?
It looks like someone determined. Someone focused. Someone who doesn't care for the consequences but isn't oit to destroy the structure either. Someone who doesn't care if the world burns, but isn't trying to strike the match.
That someone is me. That's what I aim for. To climb to the top of the pillar and look down and see what I've left behind: weakness, shortcomings. Because if I'm going to journey into the Underworld I may as well show the mettle.
When I go to fight Kerberos, I don't fight ti impress. I don't care if I am booed or cheered. It is all the same. Yhe only thing Kerberos needs to be aware of is that I will stare him down and then I will make him fall.
My journey starts in the depths, my own foundation. It will end in ascension.
Fade.
The sky is overcast, dark clouds loom overhead and thunder can be heard not far off. There’s various bystanders walking along the sidewalk of the Las Vegas strip. They wander every which way, the camera currently giving the audience more of a POV type view. The camera stumbles along, until it turns down a small alleyway. At first, there appears to be nobody there, but when the camera turns around, the three members of the Red Plague are suddenly there. The camera person gets spooked and falls, giving an upward angle.
ARCHER: Hello again HoW, are you excited to see us? We’re VERY excited to see you!
The Architect of Ultraviolence steps forward, as both Darcy and Emma separate behind him.
ARCHER: Red Moon Rising was almost our night. All that was missing was the Tag Tile win, but in the grand scheme of things, that’s neither here nor there. There was no doubt that Emma would make quick work of Diana, and she still competed in the triple threat tag team ladder match as my partner. Some people are saying it was a match of the night contender. As a viewer, it had everything I looked for in a match - Ultraviolence!
The camera person gets up off the ground, brushing their knees off and turning back to Archer. There were small droplets that had begun to form and fall from the sky.
ARCHER: But there were two moments I think stick about above the rest. BOTH involved The Red Plague. The first, is when it took not one, not two…but three people to take Emma off her feet. Emma Douglas is a force of nature, and the Red Plague are Titans. The quicker you all learn that, the better.
He motions from Emma, to now Darcy on his opposite side.
ARCHER: The second moment, was when Darcy Graves decided to break from the chains that bind her. She decided to leave Bianca Page in the dust, to become one with the Red Plague. Although we didn’t leave with the World Tag Team Championship, the House of Wrestling was made firmly aware of what we’re capable of.
Emma steps up and just grins all smug like at the camera.
EMMA DOUGLAS: And we aren't going to stop at just the HOW Tag Team Titles either. We've seen the impact that these Queens of Chaos have been trying to make and we like playing spoiler a bit.
She shakes her head a bit.
EMMA DOUGLAS: I've seen them talk about wanting to bring the fight to us or going to knock out blocks off or whatever, but the simple fact of the matter is this, you've been playing with children, ladies. Archer and I are violence personified and we've been doing this longer than you've even been interested in the sport. So, what's going to happen is your momentum is going to hit a brick wall, because ladies, I just want to destroy something beautiful, and y'all look pretty enough. Think y'all have what it takes to bring me down, oh my, I'd love to see you try.
Darcy listened as she then looked up smiling a bit.
DARCY GRAVES: you know last week I dropped the dead weight. The weight off my shoulders, I am going to remind all of you who stand in my way, as to who I am. Why I became the first ever violent champion, why people call me the Reaper. Queens, you may think you are in charge but the plague will settle in and take you, When we do we will give you no choice but to surrender.
She looked over at Archer.
DARCY GRAVES:. Don't worry Bianca, your family will take care of you. This is my new family now.
The camera suddenly goes to static.
Bash Blackstone: I don’t know if they’ll have anything official, but anything stripped I’ll allow.
Bash Blackstone and Veronica Taylor are in a mall somewhere. It looks like it could be Fashion Valley, or one of those high end malls with only designer brands. He’s wearing a suit already, walking with his arm latched to Veronica’s. He points to the Prada store.
Bash Blackstone: Do you think you can find something to wear in there? Only the best for my Superstarlet. I know you’ll want to look your best as the referee when Bianca becomes Grand Champion.
Veronica smiles brightly as she says nodding her head.
Veronica Taylor: We can take a look, and plus my outfit needs to be fire after all I am what they pay good money to see. Rather as a referee, wrestler, commentary, or managing they can’t get enough Veronica Taylor.
Veronica said with a smile as she and Bash Blackestone are walking together, as the Superstarlet soon spoke.
Veronica Taylor: Right, I mean with a fair referee the right outcome will occur. See, my grand title match with Alex was ruined by a jealous Davina King, I mean I can go on and on about that but tonight is not going to be like that night.
Together, they walk into the Prada store and Veronica begins to rummage through one of the racks to see if any of the price tags are worth looking at.
Bash Blackstone: Believe me, Davina has had her fair share of ruining things for us but she shouldn’t be doing any of that any more. If she does, it’s curtains for her! We have all the power now, whether she likes it or not.
Bash chuckles, as Veronica holds one of the dresses up, thinking it over but then putting it back.
Bash Blackstone: Really I should be giving her the jobs like cleaning toilets or something, that would REALLY teach her. But I don’t. SEE, I can be fair! Just like I know you will be during the Grand Championship match.
Veronica smiled as she looked at another one a pink with black stripes she eyes up and down not sure with a critical eye, as she says.
Veronica Taylor: Totally, my Bashy is the fairest boss ever! I mean honestly she had better have learned if not, I am sure we can think of a few more lessons, sixity precent belongs to us, plus the board are they under control?
Veronica said then showed him one she was thinking about.
Veronica Taylor: What do you think?
Bash Blackstone: It looks absolutely stunning! But you look amazing in everything.
He grabs her hand, kissing it.
Bash Blackstone: As for the board, they just don’t have the percentage anymore for it to matter. Now we look to the future. Now we take House of Wrestling in an even MORE mainstream direction. Most importantly, with you as the face of the company!
Veronica smiled proudly as she put it down, and soon a full red stripped one struck her, she took a look placing it against her smirking, as she said.
Veronica Taylor: Now how about this one? I am going to have all those eyeballs on me with this one. I mean, red is the color of love, and they love Veronica Taylor not that they have a choice in the matter really.
Veronica let out a light cackle.
Veronica Taylor: I mean but thats all up to you which one you think?
The superstarlet said with a smile.
Bash Blackstone: How about we get them both, you deserve it. Nothing is too expensive for my Superstarlet! Just you wait, there are BIG things in store for HoW!
Bash takes out his wallet as Veronica takes the hangar of both dresses, just before the scene fades.
The cameras catch up to Tomoko Ota as she enters into the MGM Grand Garden Arena. There's confidence in her stride. All of her belongings are inside of a gym, which is slung over her shoulder. And out of the corner of her eye, she catches a glimpse of the camera.
TOMOKO OTA: Hey there!
Her voice rings out loud and clear in English.
TOMOKO OTA: I was drawn to the craft of acting while I was in university. I’d already received two leading role credits by the time I finished university. Some of my friends started an independent film studio, so I helped out, you know? I always thought I was destined to see my name in large font on the billboards.
TOMOKO OTA: But those dreams were replaced by professional wrestling.
A moment passes as she continues to walk.
TOMOKO OTA: You know, I met a wrestler randomly one day. I was at the gym with a couple of friends when he walked in. He had this presence about him; the whole mood of the gym shifted when he appeared. My friends and I had a chat with him. Surprisingly, he was very soft spoken. However, there was a deep passion in his voice whenever he mentioned his profession. And it was that moment that I realized something. I enjoyed acting. But I didn’t love it, not the way that man loved his occupation. That stuck with me for ages.
TOMOKO OTA: I would go on the search for that thing that I could truly love. I had no idea that it would turn out to be the same profession. However, one day I was handed a flier for the Yugen Dojo. The tryout was free, so figured there wouldn’t be any harm in checking it out.
Tomoko offers up a wave as she passes by a number of officials
TOMOKO OTA: That’s the short version of how I got here. I’d like to say that my journey within this sport has been sweet. But it hasn’t. It’s been filled with much adversity. It’s been filled with a great deal of strife―
TOMOKO OTA: But it made me stronger. That’s why I didn’t get overly pressed when Faizah started chirping. I’ve heard worse from people who have garnered far more tenure. But I survived their attacks. And against Faizah? I thrived.
She makes a sharp turn down a left hallway.
TOMOKO OTA: I’m not going to demand anyone’s respect here at House of Wrestling. I’m aware it doesn’t work that way. However, I want people to understand something. I’m not here to be stepped on. And I’m not here to play around. So when that bell rings and we lock eyes, I expect your best. I’ll certainly be giving mine.
She ends up outside the women’s locker room.
TOMOKO OTA: Gloria Ramirez? You are one of the best wrestlers that HOW has ever witnessed. You are one of the best champions that the company has ever had. I acknowledge that. I respect that. And because of your greatness, I implore you not to overlook me. I may not be on your radar at the present moment. But that’s all going to change by the end of the night.
Tomoko nods her head as the camera begins to fade out.
Congratulations, boys and girls. You’ve reached the part of the show where you’re greeted by one of the Main Characters of the story, Silas Romero. For once though, he’s riding solo; no signs of Noa or Jewel anywhere around him. However, he’s still sporting his MDC jacket and his World Tag Team Championship title over his right shoulder.
SILAS ROMERO: “Tonight, I face the former Grand Champion. Tonight… I beat the former Grand Champion.”
He said with his best Coach Kilmer voice.
SILAS ROMERO: “Now, don’t get me wrong - I may be an arrogant prick, but I know that Alex is no slouch in the ring and in all reality, I have all the respect in the world for them. But what Alex needs to understand is — It’s not about them tonight! It’s about me! It’s about the Club! See, what people around here aren’t seeming to understand is that the Midnight Demon Club are the Main Characters around here! Did we lose our belts? Nope!”
Silas smacked the centerplate of his Tag title.
SILAS ROMERO: “We run the show, whether we’re in a tag match or in a singles match, doesn’t matter. I just don’t get it… I really don’t. We keep telling everyone how good we are but it’s like it’s falling on deaf ears. That’s fine. It’s all fine. The room is burning around you, but it’s fine. Tonight? After I knock Alex down a couple more pegs… That’ll be the next step in opening everyone's eyes to the light. The other thing though? Alex finds out that when you step into the ring with the Knockout Supreme or the Midnight Demon Club that sometimes…”
Silas pauses to wait for Noa to finish the line. After a moment or two, he realizes that she’s not around. A look of feigned embarrassment flashes across his face.
SILAS ROMERO: “Hmm… Well then, this is the part where Noa would say, "DEAD IS BETTER.”
Silas shrugged his shoulders before flashing his “death of handshakes” hand gesture.
We see Alex Andrews sitting in a locker room, just slowly taping her hands up. She seems rather ready for her match up, just from body language alone. And that is without counting her change in wrestling attire. Gone are her usual tights, nope, she's wearing blue jeans and one of her sleeveless tees. She begins talking to no one in particular.
ALEX ANDREWS: It was bound to happen at some point, right? I knew somewhere in the back of my mind, I wasn't going to stay Grand Champion forever. All things end at some point, right? But it still stings. The pride takes a bit of a hot when it happens. Jessi and I had one heck of a war, and I know how much she wanted it, but now I know exactly whom Jessi is. She beat me when it mattered and I have to come to terms with that.
She just shakes her head, still methodically tapping her hands, her wrists.
ALEX ANDREWS: That said, I'm not done yet. I might have lost my title, but that title never defined me. I'm still the harder worker in the room. I'm still the scrappiest person on the roster, period. Listen, I know Silas Romero has a reputation for being very brutal and he definitely has a size and strength advantage over me. But guess what? Most men do. And I've learned and adapted to using my own strength, my speed to counteract men like Silas. Just because I lost the title, I didn't lose the fight in me. So if you think it's going to be an easy win over a battered former champion, you're dead wrong.
A faint smile creeps up on her face.
ALEX ANDREWS: I know I'm in for one hell of a fight, Silas, but you should know something as well. You can spout off about being the division, but guess what? I was the best this company had to offer since day one. From the time these doors were open, you're looking at the person whom people most wanted to win, time and again. I WAS House of Wrestling. And guess what, I still am. Just because I don't wear a pretty leather strap anymore, I'm still one of the most dangerous people in the company. It'll be a fight, but you'll find out first hand why I AM Lady Limitless.
Alex finishes taping her hands, standing up and punches at her own hands, trying to test out her tape job. It seems satisfactory as she nods to herself and she walks out of the locker room into the hallway.

The scene opens up with the most fabulous Violent champion to ever step foot in HOW. The girl with the passion for Chaos the lovely Madz would step in front of the camera with a big smile on her face. You could tell she was backstage because a few stagehands would pass by. She was dressed in her wrestling attire. She had on a pink cut up shirt that had the words '#Bratitude' in glitter on the back. The front had a Bratz doll version of herself holding her violent championship on it. Madz was ready for her match with Chika Aramura. That girl was a little firecracker. Madz didn't really know much about Chika. She was literally new to her. But Madz never let the unknown stop her from putting on a good match.
MADZ :
First off, if your name is Chika, this message isn't for you. Hi my cranky little gremlin. -smiles- do you get angry when you're not fed properly? I mean Chika you were pretty angry online the other day. You were throwing out some cuss words like crazy. Did I strike a nerve? For you to lash out like that. I think you might need to hire a social media manager to help you out.
Madz would start laughing. She had her Violent championship over her shoulder. She was pretty excited for this match. Madz loved getting to face new people. She loved being able to show them what she was capable of. Tonight she is defending her championship against Chika, someone who recently signed with HOW. Madz really didn't know much about her other than the fact she gets angry on social media.
MADZ -
Chika I know a really good therapist who can show you a few breathing exercises to help you relax a little bit. Oh I even know a good photographer who might be able to help you up your gamer girl pictures. I did a little research on you. I found some pretty interesting things. You should really be happy that you're getting this huge opportunity to step into the ring with the face of the violent division. I mean you're getting the best opportunity. You get to try and I mean keyword try and take my championship. When I say you're going to fail I mean it. I will go through hell and back before I let some rookie walk in here and take my title. You literally just had your debut match at red moon rising. Let me just say I wasn't too impressed with it. I mean I thought you liked to hurt people? Chika you're a phony.
Madz meant it too. She wasn't impressed with her. Chika tries way too hard online. She acts like a child who got their Barbie taken away.
MADZ :
Chika after I beat you tonight I really hope you see why I'm always confident when it comes to defending MY championship. Also you can get back In line with the rest of the failures. Who couldn't hang with the moment. I welcome anyone who wants a shot at my championship. Don't be shy, come say hi. -winks- see you tonight chika I can't wait to take you to madzville. Enjoy your five seconds of fame because that's all you'll ever get.
Madz would flip her hair back before doing a slight spin on the back of her heel. She would smile before skipping off down the hallway.

Elliot “Ellie” McCain walks up to a podium of the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Elliot “Ellie” McCain:Allow me to introduce, accompanied by the special referee for the upcoming HOW Grand Championship match, Veronica Taylor, this is the challenger “Classy” Bianca Page!!!!
Bianca and Veronica walk onto the dais. Ellie rolls her eyes as she steps aside for the two ladies.
Veronica Taylor:What?!?!?!
Elliot “Ellie” McCain:Nothing. I didn’t say anything.
Veronica Taylor:Look, I can get on the phone to Bash right now.
“Classy” Bianca Page:Bash would hate to hear that you are upsetting Vero. Wouldn’t he, girl?
Veronica Taylor:Very upset!!
Bianca walks up to the podium as Ellie walks off the dais.
“Classy” Bianca Page:We are here today to celebrate my HOW Grand Championship win at Friday Night Foundations XVll.
Kari El raises her hand and Veronica points at Kari.
Kari El:But you haven’t won the Grand Championship….
“Classy” Bianca Page:Yet…I haven’t won the HOW Grand Championship yet, Kari, because we all know that I will.
Bianca looks over at Veronica.
“Classy” Bianca Page:Right?
Veronica Taylor:Right.
“Classy” Bianca Page:I have got to hand it to our new champion, Chris Night. I really do because he beat the once unbeatable Alex Andrews. Good for you, Christopher. But see all this, Christopher, the glitz and the glamor that Veronica and I attract. This is what the HOW Grand Champion should attract. So the next time I am up at this podium you will get to see the Grand title belt right here with me. That is just the way it is, Christopher, because we all know you are a transitional champion at best. I am the champion of the future and soon to be present.
Bianca walks away and is followed by Veronica.
OLLY: Jesus Christ, the look on their face… That was fucking priceless.
He was cracking up, a major shift in mood from the gloomy and vaguely threatening demeanor we are used to seeing from him. But given what just happened in the ring right after his “match” against McKena Hardy, this mood was definitely justifiable.
OLLY: The old man never saw it coming, he thought he was coming to rescue you. Poor bastard.
As the camera zoomed out, we noticed McKena Hardy standing right next to him. She looked pretty amused as well, although showing more restraint.
OLLY: You know what the best part is? That I did warn them. I fucking told you that a storm was coming, and they were already too late to stop it. They’ve been watching their back for weeks, thinking The Division will show up at some point… And they never realized it was already here, even before I joined.
He patted McKena on her shoulder.
OLLY: You did a great job, McKena. Keeping a low profile for so long, holding back and playing your role. A stellar performance, they should give you an Academy Award or some shit. But now…
That twisted grin spread across his face.
OLLY: Now comes the real fun.
A sly grin came across McKena’s face as she nodded in agreement.
McKena Hardy: You took the words right out of my mouth, Olly. What we just did out there? It’s just the start. The Division continues to grow and there’s nothing anyone can do to stop it. Not Chris, not any of his Nightfall loser friends. Nobody.
She paused and laughed.
McKena Hardy: Now you all know why I didn’t care about your little match with the Queens of Chaos. But if you think dealing with them was a problem? Then you’re really going to have issues with us. Because we’re bigger, stronger and better.
Mac grabbed her patented bat and patted it on her hand with a devilish grin.
McKena Hardy: So? Let the games begin.
Olly and Mac walked off, talking amongst themselves before the scene cuts away.
Chris Night was pacing back and forth, a disappointed look on his face.
Chris Night: Raally, Mac? You’re one of my protégés, one of my chosen ones and you decided to do the same thing Julian did to me 9 years ago? And what’s worse is that you’re doing it with him and his group of cronies.
Chris sighed and shook his head.
Chris Night: McKena, I know that this isn’t you. So please, whatever you do? Talk to me. Before it’s too late. Before you do something that you can’t take back.
Chris paused and looked and the HoW Grand Championship on his shoulder.
Chris Night: Despite this distraction, I will be ready for my match with Bianca Page tonight. It doesn’t matter if Veronica Taylor is the guest referee, I’ve had the odds stacked against me before and I’m a fighting champion. At the end of the night? I’ll be the champ still. I’ll be the guy leading this company and setting an example for everyone here and all the kids watching at home.
He nodded confidently.
Chris Night: After eight long years, I’ve finally made it to the top of the promised land and I’m not going to let anyone take me down from here. Not for a long, long time. Bet on that.
Chris raised his championship on the air as he peered into the camera.
Chris Night: See you out there, Bianca.
Chris walked out of the frame and the scene cuts away.
Match One Violent Rules Gregory St. John vs Dylan Shepherd The returning Dylan Shepherd heads up against the impressive Gregory St. John. GSJ has managed to earn himself title shots but has yet to make that big break. Of course, neither is a stranger to violent rules. The bell rings and for the first time ever we see both competitors roll from the ring to the outside. They both grab different foreign objects, Dylan grabbing a kendo stick and Gregory grabbing a steel chair. Dylan is able to duck the chair as they're about to collide, and lands a hard kendo stick shot to Greg's midsection. It sets the tone for the match to be a bit of a game for Dylan. Anything Gregory tries, Dylan is there to give him a harder punch each time. The two spill to the outside of the ring, where Shepherd spears Gregory into the barricade. He throws him over his shoulder and gives him a powerslam into the barricade as well. Dylan goes or the pin but Gregory is able to get his shoulder up. GSJ has to battle back with multiple right hands as Dylan yanks him up to his feet. Gregory lands a forearm that makes Dylan stumble back, followed by Greg smashing Dylan's head into the commentators table. Dylan begins to walk away to grab his breath, but Gregory knows that he shouldn't let him walk away when he's on a roll. GSJ rushes forward, grabbing him from behind into a german suplex that connects with the steel steps nearby with a hard thud! Gregory rolls him over and lies across him for a cover but is only able to get a two count! Gregory leaps up to the apron, rushing along the edge and leaping off into a double knee attack. But Dylan rolls out of the way! Gregory's knees both hit the floor, and he winces in pain. Dylan has rolled to his feet though, grabbing Gregory in this position and smashing him face first into the floor with a basement DDT. Shepherd mounts him, giving him hooks left and right. Gregory eats a lot of them but puts up his guard to block. Eventually he's able to roll to his side and throw Dylan off him. He kicks Dyaln into the apron, and then rolls back to his feet. GSJ leaps, landing a dropkick right to Shepherd's chest that backs him up into the apron again. GSJ tries to leap into a hurricanrana but Dylan sees it coming and thwarts him. Instead, Shepherd makes him do a flapjack right onto the apron. Once there, Dylan climbs up to the apron himself. Dylan gives GSJ a couple stomps, before grabbing him by the head and yanking him to his feet. He gives him the Big D Driver (Jumping Piledriver) right onto the apron! Gregory crumbles to the ground on the outside of the ring. Smirking, Dylan turns his body over and hooks his leg for the three count, giving the returning Shepherd the win.
Match Two Tag Team The Deathriders vs Diaz & Diana Two more return to the House in the Deathriders, and as we've seen from Red Moon Rising, they are out for blood in the tag division. They want to the ring with their multiple other tag championships, very much confident in returning to the House. Diaz and Diana walk to the ring, Diaz giving out flowers the entire time. Diana rolls her eyes at this, which she never used to do before. Diaz and Lillith start is off, with the Parker Sister getting the better of the Dashing one. She locks him in a sleeper and applies pressure, giving him a Russian legsweep only which he's about to escape. One the canvas, she locks him into a stretch muffler but Diana comes in and breaks up the submission by giving her a lariat. The referee has to tell Diana to get back to her corner, and she does. It also gives Lillith the opening to tag in Kara. As she does, together they hit a powerbomb/double knee backbreaker combo! Kaya goes for a cover but Diaz is able to kick out. She takes her boots to Diaz a few times, before giving him a chokehold. Once again Diana enters the ring but Kaya rolls out of the way to avoid her boots. Diana has to return to the apron. Now both up, Kaya gives Diaz a high knee, followed by a snap suplex! Diaz tries to kip up again but is caught with a rolling cutter! She goes to give Diaz a powerbomb onto her knees, one of her signature moves, but Diaz is able to leap into a pele kick. He's exhausted, but somehow manages to roll his corner and tag in Diana, as Lillith is tagged back in. They're both rushing in, right for one another but Lillith is able to strike with a high knee to Diana. She hoists Diana up onto her shoulder, showing just how much strength she has. She says something witty to Diana before giving her a powerslam down to the canvas. Lillith scoops her up to her feet again, grabbing her by the throat. But Diana fights back with a swift kick to the midsection. She bounces off the ropes and goes for a body block, but Lillith counters with a spinning side slam! She stalks Diana from the corner, and as she gets to her feet the Parker sister spins into a discus big boot that connects right to Diana's face! She hits the mat, and coincidentally rolls to her corner where Diaz tags himself in. He rushes Lillith with a leaping meteora that she transitions into a spinning powerbomb! She tags Kaya back in, and together the two obliterate Diaz with the Widow's Strike (Legsweep/Flying Fish Hook Combo)! He's out cold, lying on the mat, and together the Deathriders pin him for the three count. The Deathriders have just given a small reminder of what a dominate team they really are.
Match Three Tag Team Siren & Sierra Rot vs The Salavea Twins Here we have a rather interesting match. A rare occasion of Bash Blackstone actually punishing someone, in Sierra Rot being forced into the ring for the first time ever. Sierra has managed Siren since coming to the House, and has interfered multiple times. Now she's forced to be Siren's partner against the impressive newer team of the Salavea Twins. If they win here tonight, that'll be two wins to begin their career in the tag division. Not bad at all. In the beginning though we see Siren getting the better of Jacob. She's able to tie him up in the corner and apply a tarantula. It's illegal so she lets it go, then giving Jacob down knees in the corner. She follows it up by hitting a double knee double stomp! She doesn't appear to be doing very badly herself. Jacob comes back with a leaping DDT, but misses with an elbow. He pays for it by eating a running knee, but luckily it simply hits him back to his corner where Rodney tags in. Rodney attempts a jumping lariat but Siren catches him with an STO! She applies a leg choke from there but Rodney gives her a hard forearm to power out. It appears being in the match by herself, with Sierra on the apron, is starting to wear upon her. Rodney gives her a front suplex, connecting with a running senton afterwards to try for the cover. Siren powers out though. She tries for a high kick as they both get up, but Rodney ducks and catches her with a back drop! He motions to Siren to tag Sierra in, but Rot waves her hands back and forth. She does NOT want to be tagged in. Rodney chuckles, shaking his head and tags his brother back in. They give connect with Bring Da Ruckus (Wheelbarrow/Codebreaker) onto Siren in the middle of the ring and go for the cover. As Jacob hooks Siren's leg, Rodney waits for Sierra to break the count, hoping she'd enter the ring. But she does not. Instead, Siren kicks out on her own again, and Rodney returns to the apron. Jacob lays into Siren with right hands until Siren finally catches one of his hands, giving him an arm drag across the ring. Jacob kips up, tagging Rodney back in. Siren kips up as well, tagging Sierra in! The crowd roars as Sierra is forced to get into the ring when Siren rolls to the outside. Rodney greets her with a huge lariat down to the canvas. He's laughing, finally he got her to step inside. On the outside of the ring, Siren gets to her feet and... ...walks out? Siren backtracks up the ramp, leaving her now former manager to ROT, pun intended. Rodney tags his brother back in, lifting Sierra up onto his shoulders and Jacob climbs the turnbuckle. Together they nail her with Hit a Muthafucka (Burning Hammer/Diving Knee Combo)! Sierra is sprawled out on the mat and the twins get their second win. WINNER The Salavea Twins FINISHING MOVE Hit a Muthafucka (Burning Hammer/Diving Knee Combo) |
Fade.
Match Four Akari Kaneko vs Anson Arkham We've got two relatively new contenders here in the House. Ansom in brand new, while Akari had a pretty impressive debut at Red Moon Rising. She may not have gotten the win, but she also wasn't pinned. Whoever has been in charge of the scouting department recently has been on a roll as of late, because each competitor has been a hit. These two prove no different, giving us nonstop action between them. For a while, there's no telling who is going to walk away with the win, but there's multiple differences between their two styles. Ansom is aggressive, bashing Akari's head into the mat after a sick headbutt. He tosses her into the corner, using his foot to choke her against the corner. He rushes to the other side of the ring, before rushing back into a flying closeline. Akari stumbles out of the corner, right into a surprising pele kick that catches Anson right between the eyes. They both fall to the canvas and take some time to get to their feet, by now both using the ropes to their advantage. Akari connects with a spinning back kick, that she catches into a Russian legsweep. She goes to whip Anson across the ring, but he bounds back with a Lou Thesz press! He scoops Kaneko off the mat, driving her back down with Deeps of Crystal Lake (Sitout Piledriver). Arkham goes for the cover but Akari gets her shoulder up! Arkham goes for a german suplex, but Kaneko is able to completely turn over and land on her feet. She grabs Anson's waist, giving him a hard regal plex. She bounces to the ropes and nails Destroyed Blossoms (Springboard Moonsault)! She hooks Arham's leg but he gets his shoulder up after a two count. The two are back to neck and neck at this point, and have been the entire match. Kaneko catches him with a running bulldog but can't connect! Anson is able to reverse is, scooping her up from behind and coming back down into a backbreaker! He delivers an elbow to the back of her head as she's trying to get up. He goes for a second one but she's able to roll out of the way. They both roll to their feet and Kaneko connects with a dropkick! They roll to their feet again and Akari goes for a discus lariat, but Anson ducks! He grabs her into a headlock, then completes it with a takedown and a knee to her back. Kaneko arches her back and crumbles to the mat, but Arkham knows he needs to stay on it in order to find Akari. He yanks her to her feet and kicks her in the gut. Kaneko double over, and Arkham tries to lift her into Massacre on Elm Street (Double Underhook Piledriver). But Akari throws all of her body weight down suddenly when Anson tries to lift, throwing him off. She brings her knee up, causing him to double over. She lands For Your Soul (Shining Wizard) to Anson's chin, and pulls a three count before he's able to kick out! WINNER Akari Kaneko FINISHING MOVE For Your Soul (Shining Wizard) |
Match Five Bea Carter vs KERBEROS As said the same for the last match, the scouting department has been on a roll as of late. Kerberos had a successful debut at Red Moon Rising, and looks to continue his upward trajectory now against another debuting competitor, Bea Carter. Carter has gained favor due to her intriguing nature. One thing is for sure, the House crowd definitely wants to see more of both competitors in the near future. For now, we see the two get rather aggressive with one another, relying mostly on heavy strikes for the first portion of the match. Kerberos is moreso uppercuts, and forearms while Bea's offense involves more kicks at first. Kerberos connects across Bea's chin with a spinning backfist, but she doesn't fall. She stumbles, but Kerberos bounces off the ropes and plants Carter with a running neckbreaker. Bea feels it for sure but rolls back to her feet just in time to duck a discus forearm! She follows up by planting a high knee, causing Kerberos to stumble back before he eats a spear down to the canvas! Bea goes into a series of stomps, grabbing his arm and giving it a hard kick. She grabs his same arm, spinning into an armbar! Kerberos is fighting through it though, giving Bea clubs to her back and working up onto his feet! Bea responds by spinning into a leaping DDT. But Kerberos reverses it, refusing to let himself be brought back down to the mat. Instead, while in the air he grabs Carter by the shoulder, hoisting her up and over his head for an exploder suplex! Kerberos yanks her up to her feet, throwing her into a pumphandle position that he spins into a facebuster! The audience is unsure of who to cheer for on a personal level, so they cheer for the tough competition! Kerberos takes a little too much time walking over to Bea, who lands a surprising headbutt. She pops to her feet, then plants a missile dropkick to his chest. Kerberos flies back but is caught by the corner. Bea rushes to the other side of the ring, running back into a corner splash! She runs back to the opposite side of the ring, rushing back for a second corner splash! ...but Kerberos catches her! He slowly walks out of the corner, feeling the effects of the splash, but plants her down with a scoop slam. A moment later, he nails Bea with The Trojan Horse (Pumphandle Lift into Samoan Drop)! He goes for a cover, but Bea kicks out after two! Kerberos nods his head, yanking Bea back to her feet. She responds with a swift kick to his back, followed by a second one. She hoists him up for Mayhem in Mystery (Inverted Brainbuster) but Kerberos reverses it by throwing all his weight down, pulling her into a small package. Bea is able to kick out but just barely! Kerberos doesn't give her time to breath, giving her an elbow to the back of the head and then nailing her with The Kataclusmos (Quakendriver III) ...but Bea takes a page out of his book! She reverses it and ends up folding Kerberos into a pin resembling a hurricanrana pin. The referee drops to the mat and Bea gets the three count! She rolls from the ring with a smile on her face, as Kerberos stands up, very displeased! He shakes the ropes in front of him, yelling to the referee at first, then turning his gaze to Bea and yelling that this isn't over.k WINNER Bea Carter FINISHING MOVE Rollup |
Match Six Golden Ticket Qualifier #1 Jenna Sharpe vs Brother Wells vs Bart Ramsey Jenna Sharpe finds herself smack down in the middle of the strange situation between Brother Wells and Bart Ramsey. Ramsey has had the ill fate of being involved in matches with Wells the last few shows, but this triple threat offers a little something else. It's the first match involving the Golden Ticket qualifiers, so we know something special is on the line. The bell rings and Jenna and Bart have similar ideas in playing defense, but neither was expecting to be blasted from Wells so soon. Brother Wells rushes towards Bart, nailing him in the face with a big boot. Sharpe lunges for Wells, only to be caught with a spinning uppercut. Bart goes for a leg lariat, but is dropped with a Samoan drop. He turns around and ducks a flying lariat, giving Jenna a stiff neckbreaker. Brother Wells has been playing ping pong between the two, and with Jenna down again he returns to Bart. The two begin trading blows, with Bart holding him off long enough for Jenna to get back to her feet. Bart catches him with a back elbow, and Wells stumbles into a running bulldog from Sharpe who comes out of nowhere. Wells tries to battle back against Jenna now, cracking her with a forearm, only to be speared by Ramsey! Seems he's now paying the price for creating two enemies. Bart motions to Jenna, who plants Wells with a Russian legsweep just before Bart leaps into a frog splash! Showing great teamwork, actually. Unfortunately, this isn't a tag match and with Wells rolling to the apron, Bart and Jenna begin trading blows. Ramsey is able to catch her with a snap suplex, spinning his hips and bringing them both back up to their feet. He tries for a second one but Sharpe doesn't allow it, giving him a knee to the gut. Jenna is able to back Bart up to the ropes from there, taking him down with an STO. She then transitions into a surfboard stretch! Bart struggles! But he finally moves to his side and slips out. He uses the nearby ropes to push himself up to his feet and then leaps into a springboard closeline! Bart has just turned Jenna over and locked in a sharpshooter, when Wells surprises him by scooping him up for a sidewalk slam! Wells chuckles, giving Bart a few more stomps, before he is blasted by an elbow from Jenna. She goes for another but he catches it, twisting her arm around before cracking her across his knee for a backbreaker! Wells stalks Sharpe as she gets to her feet, he's moving around as if he is about to strike any moment. However, Jenna is looking directly at it, she knows it's coming. It's his arrogance that has him darting her. What he doesn't expect is for Ramsey to be up and right behind him. Bart nods to Jenna, who nods back. Ramsey jumps into a superkick to the back of Wells' head! Brother Wells falls forward and is caught into Look Sharpe! (Flying triangle choke)! Wells yells out, having been foiled with nowhere to go. Bart enjoys it so much he forget for a moment that he should probably break the submission. But it's too late, and Wells taps! Bart is bummed, but he's got a smile for his revenge against Wells and shakes Jenna's hand as the winner.Jennaissance WINNER Jenna Sharpe FINISHING MOVE Look Sharpe! (Flying Triangle Choke) |
Match Seven Golden Ticket Qualifier #2 FAITHE vs CJ Bradley vs Evan Carmine We enter into our second Golden Ticket Qualifier match, and as all three make their way down to the ring, you can see the passion in each others eyes. Faithe and CJ seem to be somewhat passed the Queens and Nightfall thing, they're focusing on the golden ticket. Add in Evan Carmine who has been stellar in every performance thus far, and you've got a coin flip. From the bell, all three are looking to get their hits in. However, they're also moving with defensive intent. Evan and CJ are both a little more technical, keeping their blocks up. Faithe on the other hand is more wild, but her swinging catches them off guard. For instance, halfway through the match Evan doesn't see Faithe come swinging in form the side, and she smashes him across the face with a spinning backfist. He attempts to kip back up to his feet but CJ isn't going to let it happen, she launches into a curb stomp that keeps Evan down. CJ and Faithe tie up, with Bradley throwing her into a sleeper hold. Faithe begins to slip out, so CJ transitions into a straightjacket german suplex! She's on a roll. That is, until Carmine scoops her up from behind for a Garden State Slam (High Angle Suplex)! Carmine floats over into the cover but it's broken up by Faithe. She bounces off the ropes and hits a sliding knee to the side of Carmine's head. Still on the mat, CJ side kicks Faithe, rolling backwards and then up to her feet. CJ spins into a discus lariat but Faithe ducks, rushing towards the other side of the ring. Bradley's momentum keeps her moving, and she runs right into a judo throw from Carmine! He probably would have tried for a pin, if the Las Vegas Fever Dream hadn't nailed him with Martyrdom (Tiger-Lifted Double Knee Facebreaker)! She hooks his leg but it's broken by CJ! As Faithe and Evan stand up, Carmine gives Faithe a kick to the gut, followed by a shining wizard! But here comes CJ Bradley, of course never far behind out of the action. She scoops Evan from behind and into a pendulum backbreaker! She stays on him, first applying a headlock and then lifting him to his feet for a suplex, but Faithe blasts CJ in the face with a running single leg dropkick as she lifts Evan! Evan and CJ tumble to the canvas, but Evan lands on his feet. He lands a hard uppercut to Faithe! He kips up the turnbuckle and goes to springboard off, but Faithe PUSHES him while he's soaring in the air. This sends him up and over the top rope and to the outside, hitting the apron on his way down! Faithe spins around and walks right into a legsweep from CJ, who then locks her into the Gearshift (Cloverleaf with extra torque)! Faithe kicks and squirms and screams but the move is just too much. Even watching Bradley apply it hurts. Evan goes to slide into the ring but it's too late, Faithe taps and gives CJ Bradley the second golden ticket. WINNERS CJ Bradley FINISHING MOVE Gearshift (Cloverleaf with extra torque) |
Match Eight McKena Hardy vs Olly McKena is making her entrance when Olly nails her in the back with a chair out of nowhere! McKena spills out onto the rampway and the boos ring out towards Olly. He raises the chair in the air and smirks, taking in the boos as if they made him stronger. Hardy begins getting up to her knees, and Olly kicks her in the face. She crawls towards the ring and Olly follows her, still holding the chair in one hand. As McKena crawls towards the ring, Olly is still smacking her around. Once they get to the bottom of the ramp, Olly grabs her by the hair and smacks her into the apron before rolling her into the ring. Olly rolls into the ring as well. Generally this is where the bell would ring, but the officials around the ring look at each other awkwardly. The referee doesn't even start the match. He grabs the chair, wrapping it around her ankle. The referee tries to plead with him but Olly pushes him away with a laughing. He yells out, "I'm going to do the same thing I did to Chris Night!" The audience gasps, as Olly admits to attacking Chris Night. Olly is about to come crashing down on McKena's ankle, but the crowd begins to cheer. It's Chris Night! Chris rushes down to the ring and begins laying right hands into Olly. ...oh no! Chris is low blowed from behind... ...by McKenna?! McKena Hardy has gotten up to her knees, giving Chris a low blow! Boos echo throughout the MGM Grand Garden Arena! McKena stands to her feet, smirking, revealing Olly had been pulling his punches and was never beating her down! She joins Olly, when the crowd suddenly turns to cheers! As Chris is still doubled over, FAITHE and Gloria run out to the ring! McKena and Olly duck out from under the ropes just as both Gloria and FAITHE get inside the ring. McKena and Olly back up the ramp together, nothing but smiles on their faces! WINNER N/A FINISHING MOVE Count Out |
We see Alex Andrews sitting in a locker room, just slowly taping her hands up.
Match Nine Gloria Ramirez vs Tomoko Ota Tomoko Ota makes her way out to the ring to a round of applause, followed by the Pure Champion who receives even more. These two technical heavyweights are about to have a match that the House won't soon forget. The Pure division has been known for having highly competitive matches, and while they aren't under Pure Rules, the crowd knows what's in store. The first half of the match sees the pair on incredible defense, doing whatever they can to keep out of the other's reach. Finally, Tomoko connects with a chop that backs Ramirez up to the ropes. Gloria tries to respond with a push kick, but Ota grabs her foot. She twists Gloria's ankle, keeping it raised in the air and yanking it in different directions, controlling Gloria. She sweeps Ramirez's opposite leg out from under her, causing her to fall but still keeping hold of her leg. Gloria stands on one leg again, and again Ota sweeps it out from under her. This time, Tomoko contorts her ankle into a modified leg log! The Submission Queen is really feeling the effects of this submission. Gloria is able to inch her way to the ropes though, grabbing hold of the bottom one for a rope break. They both get to their feet, and Gloria hits an arm drag. Tomoko rolls through, but Gloria grabs the same arm and brings her into a cross armbreaker. She yanks Tomoko to her feet, twisting her arm and planting her with a tornado DDT. Ramirez grabs hold of the same arm, but Ota yanks it back, not willing to allow Gloria to take hold of her arm again. With the opposite arm, Tomoko nails her in the head with an elbow. Ota bounds off the ropes and goes in slow, taking out Gloria's ankles! Ota grabs hold of the same ankle, applying an ankle lock! This time Gloria is forced to scissor Ota, fighting through the pain until Tomoko has to give up. She contorts Gloria's leg and yanks her to her feet, nailing a german suplex bridge that Gloria kicks out of. They both get to their feet at a slower pace, when Ota lunges with an Eternal Cleave (Double Axe-Handle To The Chest) that sees Ramirez go down hard! Ota drops for the cover...again getting a two count! Tomoko is again trying to grab Gloria's ankle, when she reverses it into a monkey flip. Gloria limps a little, but is still able to nail a fisherman suplex! She bridges it but Tomoko kicks out. As Ota gets to her feet, Gloria lunges into a superkick! But Tomoko is able to catch her foot! She twists Gloria's bad ankle, causing Ramirez to fall to one knee, yelling in pain. Tomoko looks like she's trying to lock in a standing STF. But Gloria elbows her, takes hold of her arm and brings her down to see When Night Falls (Crossface)! Tomoko holds on and Gloria arches, torquing back on the crossface. She pulls back too far, allowing Tomoko to use the force against her by rolling Gloria into a schoolgirl! The referee drops to the mat and hits the three! The crowd cheers in surprise as the two stand up. Gloria is handed the Pure Championship, and gives Tomoko a handshake in the middle of the ring as a sign of respect. Ota points to the championship, and Gloria raises it high, the House crowd getting extra loud! WINNER Tomoko Ota FINISHING MOVE Schoolgirl |

Match Ten Silas Romero w/ Noa Skye vs Alex Andrews On a night full of bangers, this is possibly the most competitive match on the card. The HoW World Tag Team Champions enter first to their usual mixed reactions, albeit ridiculously loud. Alex enters for the first time since losing the Grand Championship, but the crowd loves her just the same! Prior to Red Moon Rising, Andrews had cited Romero as a future Grand Championship contender, so this is a nice match of what could have been. We're able to witness an explosive match between the two that has the crowd on the edge of their feet. It's easy to see why Alex would name Silas as a future contender. However, eventually Andrews is able to catch Romero across the neck with a leg lariat that surprises Silas. Alex bounds off the ropes for a running senton, but Silas puts his knees up, connecting them to Andrews back. Silas takes her arm, locking in a fujiwara armbar for a few moments. It's clear that Alex is slipping, so Silas jumps up and lands a double stomp to Alex's arm! Still on the mat, Silas places one of Alex's arm behind her back and begins kicking her side. Then he switches to multiple knees before Andrews can roll out and up to her feet. She's able to leap into an STO that takes Romero back down. She grabs holds of his legs and locks in a Texas Cloverleaf! Silas pushes himself up with his hands, and has to work his way to the ropes. Alex, of course, fights back, refusing to let go until Romero finally grabs the bottom rope for a rope break. Alex lands a chop to his chest that backs him up into the corner, but Romero gives her a high knee in response. He rushes out of the corner and plants her with a swinging neckbreaker. After a couple stomps, Silas yanks Alex up by her shoulder, then nails her with a brainbuster! On the canvas, he locks in the Killing Joke (Cattle Mutilation)! It looks like things could be over for the former Grand Champion, then she begins giving elbows to the side of his head. She has to connect with four before Silas' hands begin to slip. They roll away from each other, probably with plans of catching their breath, but Alex rushes Silas instead! She nails him with a spear! Andrews mounts him and lands multiple forearms, before eating a headbutt from Silas. Romero kips up swinging with a lariat that misses, and gives Alex the space she needs to hit the Broken Wings (Backstabber)! She hooks his leg but Silas kicks out after two! Andrews attempts a high kick but Silas rolls out of the way, positioning himself behind Alex. Romero reaches up and plants a Half Nelson Backbreaker that looks like sick! He grabs her arm, yanking her in for the GKFO (Ripcord Rolling Elbow)! But Alex rolls out of the way the same way Silas had, positioning herself behind him. She grabs his arms and spins him around for Hella Rough (Killswitch)! It's only after this that she's able to get the three count. The critics sign off on Match of the Night. WINNER Alex Andrews FINISHING MOVE Hella Rough (Killswitch) |

Match Eleven House of Wrestling Violent Championship Violent Rules Madison Lewis(c) vs Chika Aramura Madz is looking to do the division proud by finding worthy contenders for the Violent Championship. There's an uptick in competition for the HoW championships as of late, and Chika Aramura has been an impressive newcomer. As the match gets under way, Chika shows just how eager she is to show her skills while Madz is in her element. The weapons surround the ring as usual but the beginning of the match shows more of a technical side to both wrestlers. It isn't until Chika leaps into a pele kick that sees Madison tumble through the ropes and to the outside. Aramura bounds off the ropes into a suicide dive to the outside! As they are getting to their feet, Madz is able to reverse a jumping DDT and nail Chika with an STO right into the barricade. Madz grabs a nearby trashcan, taking the lid off and cracking it over Chika's head as she's getting up! On the floor, Aramura is able to reach around for a kendo stick, smacking it across Madz's ankles from the floor. Madz definitely feels it, and begins slightly limping. This is the start of the foreign objects, the two attempting to one up each other. It even goes insofar as Madison kicking Aramura in the midsection, and turning her over into a sunset flip powerbomb! Madz holds her in for the pin attempt but Chika is able to kick out! In response, Chika grabs the Violent Championship a little later into the match, planting Madz onto it with an Avalanche (Pumphandle Powerbomb)! Chika hooks Madison's leg, but she is just barely able to kick out! Madz has to roll back out of the ring, holding the back of her head, in order to catch her breath. That was a close one! She slides back into the ring and eats a handspring back elbow from Chika. Aramura jumps into a leg lariat, but Madison is able to turn it around and drop her with a sitout facebuster! The audience cheers for the two competitors. Unsure of which to cheer for, the audience begins dueling chants! After a moment that sees them take in the chants, they rush each other. Lewis catches Chika with a headscissors takedown, that Chika rolls through and back onto her feet. Madison catches her into a hip toss this time that Chika again rolls through. Madz doesn't expect this and is forced to eat a sudden backstabber! Chika takes the assault to the floor where she starts to land multiple knees, followed by a hard one to the back of Madison's neck. She's trying to do what she can in order to have Madison stay down. However a moment later she steps back, eyeing down Madison. Madz pushes herself up onto her knees, when Chika lunges for Goodbye Despair (Hidden Blade)! But Madison sees it coming! She pops up at the last possible milisecond, connecting with Gorgeous Nightmare (Reverse roundhouse kick)! Chika isn't expecting it, and it catches her right in the temple. Madz falls to the mat on top of Aramura for the three count in her toughest defense yet. WINNER AND STILL House of Wrestling Violent Champion, Madison Lewis! FINISHING MOVE Gorgeous Nightmare (Reverse Roundhouse) |
Headliner 6Way Tag Team The Red Plague (Darcy Graves, Archer, Emma Douglas) vs Queens of Chaos (Jessi Ozborne, Faizah Marshall, Jewel Chayse) There's a major amount of talent in the ring with this one. The dangerous Red Plague were barely able to be kept at bey at Red Moon Rising, while separately, the Queens of Chaos took some devastating losses. Both sides of the ring look on FIRE as the bell rings, with no signs of stopping. The strikes and slams look mighty stiff, causing for echoes up into the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Jessi specifically really feels a kind of way, and is taking her fury out on The Red Plague. Considering who they are, it's probably the best people they could've gone up against. Darcy Graves has her high above her head for a gorilla press slam, but Ozborne is able to slip out! She grabs Darcy from behind into the Bae-Blade (Ripcord Spinning Heel Kick)! She tries for a cover but Darcy is able to kick out after two, leading to tags on both sides. When Jewel and Emma get in, they have a back and forth that finally leads to Chayse nailing her with an elbow. Emma drops down to her knees and Jewel leaps into Shattered Dreams (Curb Stomp)! But Emma stands up, snatching her from the side into Bedlam (Black Hole Slam)! She goes to make a pin attempt but Jewel powers out. Jewel is able to land a couple forearms back to back, to finally ground Emma with a running bulldog. Jewel tags in Faizah who rockets in with right hands. She tries to grab Emma into an exploder suplex, but she isn't able to bring Douglas up and over. Instead, Emma tosses her across the ring. Faizah rockets back at her with a missile dropkick that catches her in the chest. Emma doesn't fall, but she does stumble back into her own corner, where Archer tags himself in. Marshall and Archer spill to the outside, where the two begin fighting on the barricade. This brings Jessi over first, who comes to blows with Archer in defense of Faizah. Naturally, this brings both Emma and Darcy over, as well as Jewel to join the fray. The referee's count goes up and over ten, and the bell sounds but the six of them continue to brawl. Ozborne's frustration and fury are at an all time high, landing kick after kick to Archer on the outside. Jessi grabs a nearby chair, yells out and then cracks Archer in the head with it! As he begins to stir again, Ozborne puts the chair down but continues to lay into him with kicks. She's showing no signs of stopping and as the brawl between the six continues, the camera begins to focus solely on Ozborne and Archer. The Architect of Ultraviolence is...chuckling? There's blood coming down Archer's face, as he continues laughing. Jessi only gets more angry, giving Archer a double stomp right onto the chair and leaving a blood imprint. That's when Faizah and Jewel rush away from Emma and Darcy, and pull Jessi away. It's clear Ozborne is frustrated as he pals lead her up the rampway. WINNER N/A FINISHING MOVE Double Count Out |
Chris Night was pacing back and forth, a disappointed look on his face.
Main Event House of Wrestling Grand Championship Special Referee: Veronica Taylor Chris Night(c) vs Bianca Page Our new Grand Champion walked into this match with his head held high even though his the cards were stacked high against him. Not only was one of his proteges revealed to be apart of The Division, but now he had to defend the Grand Championship with a referee that's definitely not going to be impartial. Not to mention the Queen of Chaos herself, Jessi Ozborne, nipping at his heels. Bianca held most of this match with confidence because one of her best friends was the referee. Veronica also had on her designer striped dress instead of an actual referee shirt. Veronica also begins to count on Chris for multiple violations that weren't really violations. Thus, Night had his assault interrupted multiple times in the beginning of the match, as well as being fast counted on anytime that Bianca was making a pin attempt. You could see the slight frustration in his eyes, but he was going to power through. Page gives him a bicycle knee followed by a tiger suplex. Veronica fast counts but Chris still kicks out. Night rolls backwards, giving Bianca a crescent kick, followed by a standing moonsault. He goes for a pin! But Veronica looks around the MGM Grand Garden Arena and pretends she can't see the attempt. Chris scoffs, knowing that he should've expected this but at the same time he didn't expect it to this extent. He gets to his feet, still eyes on Veronica, and spins around right into Swanky (Superkick) from Bianca! She falls on top of Chris, who is sprawled out on the mat, going for what she believes to be the final pin attempt. But Veronica isn't counting...she's looking up the ramp at the entrance. Davina King is here! Davina King is rushing down to the ring right for Veronica and Veronica is panicking. Davina slides into the ring rushing right for Veronica, but Taylor rolls from the ring. Davina follows her! Together they run up the ramp and through the curtain! Bianca unhooks Night's leg, and a replacement referee runs down to the ring. Bianca begins to climb the turnbuckle, possibly going for Pure Elegance (Corkscrew Moonsault) but Chris is on his feet again. He gives her an axehandle from behind, then plants a german suplex off the turnbuckle! They both get to their feet and Chris jumps into Lights Out (RKO)! The crowd is going nuts as he climbs to the top rope, leaping into the Nightmare Splash (Five Star Frog Splash)! The audience is in an uproar as Chris makes the cover on Bianca! The replacement referee drops to the canvas and makes the three count! We go off the air as Chris Night raises the Grand Championship high. WINNER AND STILL House of Wrestling Grand Champion, Chris Night! FINISHING MOVE Nightmare Splash (Five Star Frog Splash) |
