The scene opens up in a bedroom of a small apartment bedroom. There sitting in the sledge of the bed is one Alex Andrews, a faint smile on her lips as she fiddles with the cuff of her jeans.
Alex Andrews : Gosh, these things always feel a bit awkward, don't they? Anyways, my name is Alex Andrews, and some of y'all might know of me and some might not and that's just fine. I've been doing this whole thing a couple years now and I must say, I've done pretty alright for myself. A couple belts here and there, showing my stuff and getting better each time out.
She nods to herself and continues speaking.
Alex Andrews : But I saw that a new place was starting out, House of Wrestling and I thought it might be cool to get in the ground floor of something. I've never done anything quite like that before and it sounded fun to help out the place in the map and help solidify myself in the process. A true win-win situation. I get to show off my skills, to show off how effective the training I was given is and show exactly why I've come to call myself Lady Limitless.
Alex nods to herself.
Alex Andrews : I know this is going to be a tough run but I know how badly I want this and how far I'll go in order to become the company's first ever Grand Champion. That's huge. No one else can claim such a thing...the FiRST EVER. And I want that. But I know I'll have some hurdles in front of me. But I've had to overcome pretty dang steep odds before and I know I can do the same here.
Alex thinks to herself, pausing for just a second before speaking once more.
Alex Andrews : I know this tournament has brought out a wide and varied cast of people wanting the same thing I do. I know I'm not going to be the most experienced person in this shindig, but I feel, I just feel no one has the heart and grit like I do. I've been knocked silly by a roll of quarters and still managed to walk away with the victory and a title, how many people can really say that? But anyways, this tournament has even managed to pull a man out of retirement. That's crazy, right? To be sitting at home, just been completely done with the sport and see this company startup and go, "yeah, I think I can win that". Just wow. But he isn't the only none with experience, is he? A great majority of the field has so much more experience than I do, but that doesn't deter me. I KNOW how good I am, and what I'm capable of and here is where I'm going to show it.
Alex pulls up a foot underneath herself as she sits on her bed.
Alex Andrews : My first opponent of the night, Sabrina McKay, small but fierce, right? It's not too terribly often when I'm the larger one in a fight, so I'm going to relish the chance to show off my strength and size advantage here. I know you'll be a ball of frenetic energy and bouncing all over the place, but you see, I'm going to be patient and pick my spots. I'm going to pluck you out of the sky, drop you to the mat hard and stretch you like you've never been stretched before. But I won't be doing so with any malice or ill intent. I just know I damn well do not want to be knocked out in the first round. I know I'm better than that and so, I'm sorry, but hey. I know you'll bring the fight. Truly. But, I want to win this whole thing, to become the first ever. And this isn't my destiny to call at the highest hurdle. I'm sorry girl, but that's the way things are going to have to be.
Alex chuckles to herself then clears her throat.
Alex Andrews : We're going to light this thing up, it's going to new a blast and in the end. y'all see how far I'll go and how Limitless I truly am. Peace.
Alex throws a peace sign at the camera and nods as well before we fade to black.

“Classy” Bianca Page opens the door to her locker room at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. She walks in with her luggage. She sets her cellphone down on the couch in the locker room.
“Classy” Bianca Page:Nine of the most talented wrestlers in the world, seven hard hitting wrestlers, but only one HOW Grand Heavyweight Championship. A championship that only one person on the HOW roster truly deserves. That of course is me.
Bianca sits down on the couch and crosses her legs.
“Classy” Bianca Page:You all may think that this is just me blowing smoke once again and giving myself way too much credit. But if you were to look at things honestly you would see that I am in the right. That I am the only one who should be leaving here tonight at the first ever HOW Grand Heavyweight champion. Now there is no doubt that the dashing man who refers to himself as Diaz is the odds on favorite to walk out the winner of our match. Which is fine because I don’t wrestle for the odds makers or anyone but myself really. Much like everyone else I am in this business for the money, championships, and notoriety that comes with holding the gold. Whether it is Diaz, Alex Andrews, Darcy Graves, Sabrina McKay it really doesn’t matter. As I am the standard bearer of House of Wrestling. Eight other wrestlers over three matches won’t make any difference because I am the only choice to carry this company on her back.
A devilish smile comes over the face of Bianca.
“Classy Bianca Page: The time to play is long overdue to come to an end. Tonight that all stops as I show HOW and the wrestling world who truly is what this company is about.
Bianca winks at the camera.
Backstage
Jolyne Ferolino can be seen leaning up against a wall. Her head is initially looking down with her arms crossed to her chest. A few chuckles can be heard emerging from her lips before she speaks.
JOLYNE FEROLINO: “The pups sure do like to bark, do they? You know, it’s been cute lurking social media and seeing everyone puff out their chests, claiming that they’re gonna be the ones to be the ace of How – because we totally haven’t heard so many wrestlers in the history of professional wrestling claim the exact same thing. Still, these people are so incensed that they’re gonna be somehow different; that somehow, someway they’re the ones that’s gonna instantly elevate the promotion all because… well, they said so.”
She gave an unamused shrug.
JOLYNE FEROLINE: “That’s what it all amounts to at the end of the day. Empty words, empty promises. Made even hollower by the fact that there’s a person just like you saying the same bullshit over and over again. I mean, damn. I think y’all are far more likely to put the HoW fans to sleep from parroting off of each other instead of actually doing something notable inside the ring.”
“But that’s the problem with a lot of y’all. I get it. I’m excited to be in this tournament, and being involved in the Violent Championship battle royal should things not work in my favor. It makes me motivated to do everything I can to walk out with either of those two championships on my shoulder. This is the first time in my entire career that I’ve been gifted a championship opportunity. There’s so much at stake for me. Still, I ain’t gonna stand here and give out a drawn-out, half-assed TedTalk like a lot of y’all seem to be doing. Nah. Ain’t my thing. I’m more of an actions kind of a gal, you know?”
A wink.
JOLYNE FEROLINEO: “And ultimately, that’s what matters the most here. You can go at each other’s throats via Twitter all you like, but at the end of the day you gotta back your shit up in the ring. You gotta go through hell just to show everyone why you even deserve to be in HoW. FAITHE and Darcy, the two of you can make these bold proclamations all you like, but none of them will stop me from beating the two of you up. I got the reputation I got today because I make sure my opponents are absolutely spent no matter how hard they go. Doesn’t matter if a title is on the line or not; each and every match is a chance for me to show what I’m capable of to win. I put it all on the line all the time, and it ain’t gonna stop now that the three of us are facing off. In fact, it makes me want to wild out against you two. And if either of you wins? Then hey, good on you. Just know though that you’re always going to have a target on your backs when it comes to me. Just know that possibly beating me isn’t going to be an easy feat. You; 'll ache and bleed and hurt all over because if there’s one thing that’s guaranteed in life, it’s that I, Jolyne Ferolino, will always fuck you up.”
She pushes herself from the wall to look directly into the camera.
JOLYNE FEROLINO: “Please, don’t get it twisted as me trying to pass off as being edgy. At the very least, I hope the two of you were able to do your homework. There’s a whole lot of truth in the words that I am speaking to you now, so don’t make the mistake of blowing me off, yeah? It’ll only lead to your downfalls whereas I’m climbing so high and reaching heights so unimaginable that no one can ever touch me.”
A smile surfaces. Cruel and almost uneasy.
JOLYNE FEROLINO: “See you ladies out there. And for the rest of you lovely HoW folks, let tonight be indicative of the unprecedented violence I seek to bring from here on out.”
Sabrina was just finishing up taping up her wrists as the cameraman approached her. She smiled softly, looking at the cameraman who had moved to her. She flipped her blonde braids out of her face, looking into the small mirror next to her. She then looks up for a moment.
Sabrina McKay: What they don’t tell you boo, is that people here be trippin. See I got a first-round match, then got to wrestle a second match if I win, and a third to gain the belt. So, I guess it’s picking them off one at a time. See round 1, I go against this rookie girl, and see I may seem like a rookie myself but I ain’t no rookie, don’t be trippin on that. Then Round two I either go up against a crazy woman who don’t speak, needs someone to speak for her, or a reporter. I’m not underestimating any of the opponents or talent in the company, I just want to make myself the biggest star.
The cameraman nods, as he listened to what she was saying. She put her leg up on the box stretching out, she then turns her piercing green eyes look at the cameraman, who is focused on her. She then puts her leg down doing the other side while watching him.
Sabrina McKay: Tonight, I could even enter the battle royal, have a chance at two titles instead of one. You know your girl ain’t greedy, so she’ll just stick with the one. Siren, Svarro, Alex, and the other side of the bracket, bring the fire, bring the game. The only thing that matters is focus, drive and determination.
Sabrina then put her leg down grabbing the cameraman by the shoulders looking into his eyes, patting him on the top of the head, then moved back.
Sabrina McKay: Tonight, it’s game time, and ain’t no one gonna steal my thunder!
Sabrina then walks off, knocking something over before heading back to look at the cameraman,
Sabrina McKay: Believe that!
Sabrina then headed over to the entrance area continuing her stretches focusing herself. Suddenly, Sierra Rot and Siren walk by, with Siren doing a bit of limping from her match. Neither Siren nor Sierra look pleased at all. Sabrina moves aside, not wanting to make trouble before her match.
Siren: ABOO BAGEER FARAH SHAMOOU
Siren yells at Sabrina in an unknown language, loudly and with a deep voice.
Sierra holds her back, stopping Siren.
Sierra Rot: Siren! That curse was not needed! She is not the one who wronged you!
Sierra pulls Siren off screen, with Sabrina looking mighty confused. She shrugs, and continues her stretching and focusing while the camera pans back to ringside.
The room grows dark, as the cameraman looks around walking along. He only hears the soft pat of her boots walking, as a woman comes walking up to him holding a flame in her hand. She looks at him curiously, petting the flame looking at the cameraman. There was just something different about them, that the empty space had created. Darcy looked around, a storm begins brewing in the background with thunder and lightning, she giggles as she looked at the cameraman.
Darcy Graves: A storm begins to brew in the west, but no one tends to notice. To quash that one spark that would ignite a revolution. I am not just a single spark, that ignites the revolution. I am the whole fire, that ignites it, keeps the spirit of it burning. My opponents tonight, Faithe, Jolyn Ferriano, the battle royal. See revolutions just start with one person.
Darcy laughs as she continued walking away the land behind her forming, looking at the cameraman. She wraps her free arm around his shoulder, walking with him.
Darcy Graves: Just watch, tonight is my debut, even the first show of the federation, and I want it. I can taste that first ever championship in my mind, I gotta break out and make my name for myself.
Darcy then removed her arm away from the cameraman as she turned in front of him, smiling looking at the flame continuing to pet it, she then turns laughing, looking at the cameraman slamming the flames down into the ground, letting the world fill out. As she did look back at the cameraman lifting her arms up, it began to look more like her home, which Darcy felt most comfortable in.
Darcy Graves: Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the Irish Isles, and welcome to my home. Tonight, I’ll show why I deserve, why I crave to be the Grand Champion, and bank on the fact, if I don’t win, I am going to make one hell of an impression on all of you.
The storm moves over the two of them, as rain begins to fall over the two. Darcy laughs a bit as she lifts her hands up the lightning cracks around her, then she looked at the cameraman.
Darcy Graves: Time to play!
She laughs then pushes the cameraman away. The scene fades out with the storm still falling, and Darcy nowhere to be seen.
We're in the parking lot of the MGM Grand where Davina King sits in her car alone. She's been in this spot before, quite recently actually, and she doesn't want to let it slip away from her. She's taking the time to focus herself, and to let everything else just slip away.
Davina King: Recently, I won the GCW Spotlight Championship. I'm still the current holder, and I hold it with honor. I walked into my match and I made sure I left with the title on the shoulder. GCW is not House of Wrestling, the place are completely different, though I gotta admit I been dealin with the same kinda chick over there too. Outta her mind and thinkin she can one up me. Giiiirl, nu uh. Ain't happenin. I have fought too long and too hard to not walk away with the Civil Championship here tonight. 'Vina 2 belts is finna arrive tonight!
She shuts her car door, blaring "Motivation" by Normani as we fade.
Davina King is given the House of Wrestling Civil Championship, and she holds it high in the middle of the ring to a ton of cheers. A moment later, Hans is coming from behind, giving her a hard axehandle to the back of her head. He starts beating her down and then stomping on her. King begins to battle upwards, giving Hans Schmidt right hand after right hand.
That is, until Taylor comes behind with a stun gun!
She zaps Davina who instantly falls to the floor before she zaps her again!
With a marker, Taylor writes a backwards L on Davina's forehead in the middle of the ring. She picks up the Civil Championship, holding it high and posing as if she's in a photoshoot as the crowd boos.
Svarro makes his way up the ramp and past Diaz, who is still at the top of the ramp waiting to see what Bianca's reaction is. Page's heated gaze follow Mikey up the ramp as he exits through the curtain, but they then switch to Dashing Diaz who is grinning. He grabs a microphone.
Dashing Diaz: Amore! Amore! Do not be mad! Do not worry about that silly tournament. You have received a much better prize - me!
Bianca rolls her eyes, she can't believe this is happening.
Dashing Diaz: No no, listen listen. Tonight I make sure that you know my name and that you remember my name. Before long, you accept my rose, bonita. My offer to you, is one romantic date with me!
Page's anger has turned into disgust and disbelief.
Dashing Diaz: I give you time to think about it, my love.
Noah Ortega: The era of the lost is upon us.
The scene opens with House of Wrestling newest addition to the roster, Noah Ortega, sitting upon a throne as he clasps his hands together and stares coldly into the lens.
Noah Ortega: Soon, the world will know.
A smirk appears on his lips, as the camera zooms out to unveil a group of masked individuals, donned in black hoods, looking up towards Ortega who's on a pedestal.
Noah Ortega: That the lost, they will always find their way. No matter the circumstances, no matter the odds, and the crippling anxiety you get just from the thought of it, we will always overcome the challenges that are put before us.
He clenches his fist, his expressions turning bitter.
Noah Ortega: I've been a lost cause for most of my life, I'll tell you the truth.
He chuckles a little, leans back as he reflects:
Noah Ortega: There were people who were telling me that I wouldn't amount to anything. That I was just this, this scrawny Canadian kid who would probably end up dead or in jail. People giving up on me, constantly, consistently, consecutively - telling me that I was always just going to let them down. I felt abandoned, everyone I knew and loved, they gave up on me. But through all of those trial and tribulations, they made me a stronger man, it pushed me to become something else entirely.
Once again, the confidence returns and a smirk lays upon his lips once more.
Noah Ortega: It made me, The Leader of the Lost... and soon, the world will know.
The group of masked individuals nod their heads in unison before all taking a knee.
The Lost: Soon, the world will know.
They all say in unison.
Noah Ortega: The world will know that Noah Ortega is the present and the future of this industry. House of Wrestling has been blessed with the finest jewel in all of professional wrestling. The man ready to pick up the mantle and lead this company into greatness. The journey is only just beginning, ladies and gentlemen.
He smiles, holding his arms out wide.
Noah Ortega: Tonight the foundations are laid and history will be made but tonight will be remembered as the night Noah Ortega arrived on the scene. Forget about your counterfeit heroes, the way of the future is the way of the lost! Soon, these very foundations will be rocked to it's very core. The time of the lost is upon us.
Ortega rises from his throne and grins from ear to ear as the scene gradually fades to black.
At ringside, Bash Blackstone and Ellie St. Clair both clap their hands for the newly crowned Violent Champion and the audience is taking whatever piss break they could muster right before the final match of the night. The cameras show the duo reminding the crowd and those watching at home that the final match for the Grand Championship will be contested under No Disqualification rules as a short montage plays for both Mikey and Alex. That's when we open somewhere backstage, the Voice of Wrestling is pacing back and forth when his phone rings.
Mikey Svarro: Perfect! I was beginning to think you weren't going to call me back. Where the hell have you been?
There's a momentary pause as Svarro listens intently. He does not seem pleased.
Mikey Svarro: Excuse the fuck outta me! I've had to deal with this and get myself through this damn tournament all night, and you've been off doing GOD knows what!
He listens again, though his expression only grows more annoyed.
Mikey Svarro: I don't think I have to go over everything I've done for you and your career. It's not my fault you squandered all of the opportunity that I left for you, all I know is that right now you're supposed to be at the MGM Grand and I DO NOT SEE YOU.
He takes off his signature shades for a moment, growing increasingly angry.
Mikey Svarro: The Voice of Wrestling waits for nobody, least of all you. Here I am trying to breath life back into sports entertainment and you can't seem to get on board. I'm here doing charity basically! I'm making sure this damn company is able to get itself off the ground. I've carried company after company on my back alone, and I intend on doing that again here in House of Wrestling...
Svarro stops as if he had just remembered something, and slides his shades back on his face.
Mikey Svarro: You know what, I shouldn't have to explain myself. Just get here. Or you won't like what comes next.
Mikey slams his phone shut and shakes his head as the scene fades out.

Match One HoW Grand Championship Tournament, Round 1 Siren w/ Sierra Rot vs Mikey Svarro The bell rings and Mikey starts by trying to feel out the situation. He hasn't been in the ring for a bit but even then his style is more laid back. Siren lets him know from the jump that she prefers hard and fast. She overtakes him into a series of mat submissions in attempts to end the match early. Svarro has the same idea but goes the opposite route in completing two small count roll ups. Svarro brings Siren to the canvas with a one-handed facebuster. As she gets to her knees he slams her face first back to the mat again. Svarro bounds off the ropes with a knee drop and keeps his knee on Siren's throat, refusing to let go. Siren takes matters into her own hands, using her athletic ability to reach up and kick Svarro in the face. He releases his knee, stumbling back into the corner. Siren rushes him, but Mikey puts up his knees. Siren stumbles back, but surprisingly recovers fast, rushing back with a back elbow into the corner. She strikes him in the face with an impressive moonsalt kick and bulldog out of the corner. Mikey is getting to his feet when she strikes him in the face again with a basement dropkick. Sierra Rot also played a big part in this match, screaming from the sidelines every so often and banging on the canvas. Svarro tossed a compliment/insult her way at one point to which Sierra shouted back, "Digusting!" The final moments began as Siren began her climb up the turnbuckle, but Svarro was quick on his feet. He ran up on her from behind, landing a hard right that stopped Siren from going any further. Mikey climbed behind, landing two more right hands. From the floor, Sierra Rot hops up onto the apron and starts yelling at the referee as a distraction. This gives Siren what she needs to slide her foot through Mikey's leg with a back kick to his groin. Svarro doubles over, before falling down to the canvas from the second rope. Siren continues her short ascension to the top and leaps into The Morning Star (Moonsalt). She covers him and on the outside Sierra looks like she's confident this match has been won, only for Siren to get but a two count. Siren hooks Mikey's arms from behind and lifts him up into the Tears of Misery (Vertebreaker). She screams out and is about to drop him, when Mikey reeeeaaaaccchhheeessss to the ropes with his right leg. Upside down, he hooks one of his legs in the ropes, pulling himself and Siren to them. She falls over and instead of getting dropped on his spine, Mikey rolls, rolling Siren along with him and bridging into a package pin for the win. Mikey releases the bridge and quickly rolls out of the ring, not about to stick around for the fall out. Sierra looks shocked and ready to scream. Svarro backs up the ramp with a smirk on his face, Siren starring him down with fire in her eyes. WINNER Mikey Svarro FINISHING MOVE Small Package |

Match Two HoW Grand Championship Tournament, Round 1 Bianca Page vs Dashing Diaz The bell rang and Diaz immediately brought out a rose and tried to give it to Bianca. She was cautious and didn't want to step closer to Diaz, so he laid it in the middle of the ring. He stepped back for a moment, allowing her to grab the rose. However when she did, he cartwheeled into a pele kick and struck her right in the temple. Using the rose as a distraction which lead to him gaining control for the first part of the match. A high spot was when he managed to chain together a swinging neckbreaker, before bounding back off the ropes into a meteora to the seated Bianca Page. He grabbed her legs for a pin of a two count but Page powered out. She battled to her feet leading to an exchange of punches between the two. Bianca would win out in the end by slapping Diaz's hand away and striking right after with a high knee. Diaz stumbled back into the ropes and tried to bound back by was sliced with a spinning forearm from Bianca! She took advantage by locking in a one-legged boston crab but it would be to no avail as Diaz was eventually able to get out of the submission hold. He'd nail Bianca with a flying heel kick and keep her down with a dancing legdrop before trying for another pin but again getting another two count. At this point, Diaz would start getting annoyed with the referee, who just so happened to be House ref Kara Tonic. Diaz went from yelling at the referee to going and picking up the same rose he offered to Bianca, but now offer it to Kara. The ref is confused and waves her arms no. All of this shenanigans gives Bianca time to catch him with a springboard bulldog for a two count pin. She would help him to his feet, grabbing him into a headlock and then bringing him down to the canvas again with a snap DDT. The Dashing one rolled to the turnbuckle and used the ropes to get to his feet. Page attempts to run at him, but Diaz ducks, Bianca's shoulder colliding hard with the turnbuckle. She stumbles backwards and falls to one knee. Diaz positions himself on the other side of the ropes, standing on the apron and blowing a quick kiss to the referee. Diaz launches himself up onto the ropes into a Cupid's Call (720 DDT) but no! Bianca sees it coming and catches him with a jumping STO that drives the wind out of him. He clutches his nose as he gets to his knees, then to his feet. He turns around in time to eat the Lavish Lifestyle (Blockbuster) from Bianca from the three count! WINNER Bianca Page FINISHING MOVE Lavish Lifestyle (Blockbuster) |
Match Three HoW Grand Championship Tournament, Round 1 Sabrina McKay vs Alex Andrews The hardworking hopeful and the young upstart look to make an impact with this next bout. Alex and Sabrina trying for a tie up that quickly transitions into a back and forth game of reversals. It's difficult to see who is in control as the two ladies dart around the ring. The first attempt at a fall comes with McKay launching into a springboard crossbody, hooking the leg as she presses Andrews to the mat. Andrews is able to kick it, not willing to back down. Andrews eats an armdrag that puts her in the corner, with Sabrina capitalizing into a a front dropkick that sees Alex hit the corner again hard. Andrews falls into a seated position against the turnbuckle, followed by a cannonball attempt from Sabrina that is thwarted when Alex rolls out of the way! This gives Alex a little recovery time herself. As Sabrina is getting to her feet, Alex leaps into an STO that sees Sabrina's face bounce off the canvas. Andrews whips McKay across the ring, leaping over her as she bounds back. The two launch into another back and forth reversal with leaps, lay downs and flips. Finally, Andrews leaps backwards trying for some kind of spinning DDT, but McKay counters into a wheelbarrow position. McKay goes to slam Alex but Alex rolls under into a roll up pin. She gets a two count before McKay powers up, now sitting on Alex in a pin position. She also gets a two before Alex pushes her off. As the two get to their feet, they hit the ropes again. Sabrina tries to jump over Alex, but Andrews expects is, launching much higher than she originally would and spears Sabrina right out of the air! The move gets a big pop from the crowd but only gets a two count on the pin. Andrews helps her to her feet, going for a headlock and spinning into a backdrop. But McKay reverses again, grabbing into another armdrag but keeping hold of Alex's arm. Sabrina drags her to the corner, walking up the turnbuckle and leaping into a hurricanrana. She flips over and grabs her legs for a two count. The move has the crowd on their feet even more than before. As Alex powers out, Sabrina rolls over to the other side of the ring. Andrews uses the ropes to get to her feet. The two gaze at each other across the ring as dueling chants begin for both girls. They meet each other in the center again. Right hand by Alex, right hand by Sabrina, right hand by Alex, right hand by Sabrina. Alex looks to be a little staggered from the last hit, so McKay goes for another. It's a fakeout! Andrews ducks under the stretch of Sabrina's arm, spinning her around so that Andrews is now facing Sabrina's back. She grabs McKay's arms, nailing her with the Hella Rough (Killswitch) for the three count. As Alex gets to her feet and has her hand raised, Ellie St Clair at the commentators table remarks how maybe there was something to the "curse" that Siren put on her. Bash laughs at the thought. WINNER Alex Andrews FINISHING MOVE Hella Rough (Killswitch) |
Match Four HoW Grand Championship Tournament, Round 1 FAITHE vs Darcy Graves vs Jolyne Ferolino This triple threat was between three incredibly aggressive women that are looking to make their stamp here in House of Wrestling. The beginning saw nothing but hard hits and high impact moves. It really seemed as if all three girls came into the match with the same gameplan and it was all coming to a head. Things especially got out of hand when FAITHE was in the corner, Graves delivering a corner kick to her. From out of nowhere, Jolyne launches into a body press against the both of them. Graves stumbles from the corner, and tries to get out of the way but Jolyne whips her back into the corner where she collides with FAITHE again. Before Graves is whipped back, she tries to get out of the way, crashing into the ref and sending him to the floor. They battled on as if nothing had happened, FAITHE leaping up with a burst of energy and taking Jolyne down with a falling lariat. She turned around and delivered a forearm to Darcy, pushing her back into the ropes. In fact, FAITHE gets Darcy tied up in the ropes, no matter how illegal it may be, trying to cause more damage to her limbs. It's not for long though, as Jolyne hits a running dropkick on both of them, sending them out of the ring. She bounds off the ropes into a running suicide dive, with FAITHE pushing Darcy in the way on the outside. Graves takes the grunt of the force, leaving FAITHE and Jolyne to battle back into the ring. FAITHE nails Jolyne with a Martyrdom (Tiger Double Knee Facebuster) and might've gotten a three count if not for Darcy sliding in and breaking up the count. Darcy lifts her up into a gory special, trying to get her to tap but FAITHE refuses until Graves is forced to let go. Graves exits the ring, going over to the side of the announce table, grabbing a chair, folding it up and sliding back into the ring with it. Darcy is about to smash it over FAITHE's head when Jolyne starts tugging on the chair. Darcy won't let go though, headbutting Jolyne followed by a chair shot! She hits the canvas and rolls from the ring. However, Darcy turns around to receive a kick to the gut from FAITHE. She drops the chair and doubles over, holding her gut. FAITHE hits the ropes, bounding back and looking to make good on the distraction. But wait! Darcy lunges forward before expected, smashing FAITHE in the face with Waking the Dead (Running single leg high knee) just in time for the referee to come to and strike a three count. WINNER Darcy Graves FINISHING MOVE Waking the Dead (Running Single Leg High Knee) |
Match Five HoW Civil Championship Davina King vs Taylor TWe hear the bell and it's immediately clear that the two women have completely different ideas on how to handle this match. Davina wants to go straight up, but she quickly learns that Taylor isn't about to let her get her way. Taylor plays a sneaky game, trying to backslide and move away from Davina as much as possible. At one point, Davina manages to get ahold of Taylor, picking her up into a mighty military press slam to show her strength. King releases at the top, letting Taylor fall back to the canvas with a hard thud. In response, Taylor rolls from the ring and to the outside where her manager and agent, Hans Schmidt tends to her care. The referee begins to count but Taylor doesn't seem to care. She slides back in the ring before the ten count, where she trades hands with Davina until King catches her in a spinning backdrop. Again, Taylor rolls to the outside to catch her breath with Hans. She looks frustrated, placing her hands on her hips and pacing back and forth. Davina motions for Taylor to get in the ring as the crowd starts cheering for her. Taylor whispers something to Hans, sliding back in. Davina goes for a running closeline but Taylor ducks. As Davina is rebounding off the ropes, Hans uses an airhorn to blow right behind Davina. The sudden sound catches her off guard, and she eats a crossbody from Taylor. Taylor goes to work stomping away at Davina on the ground, before getting on top of her and slamming the back of her head against the mat three times. Taylor gets to her feet, striking a model pose to the crowd, who begin booing. Davina uses the time to get to her feet, locking her arms around an unsuspecting Taylor and taking her to the mat with a waist takedown. She keeps the waist lock applied though, using all her strength to pick Taylor up off the canvas and place her ontop of her shoulders. The audience cheers and Taylor looks frightened up on top. King motions forward, and goes for a running powerslam. But as she is rushing forward, Taylor slips off her back. Hans, who had jumped up onto the apron, had held Taylor's legs as Davina rushed forward, assisting in her escape. The ref yells at Hans to get off the apron and to stop messing with the match, but the deed is done. Taylor is able to capitalize with a schoolboy pin, but only gets a two count much to her dismay. As Davina gets to her knees, Taylor grabs her head and slams her back to the canvas. With an evil grin, she stalks Davina as she begins getting up. Taylor spins into the Fashionably Late (Spin Kick) but Davina catches her leg! Taylor balances on just one leg, trying to yank her other leg back from Davina but King shakes her head no. Instead, she swings Taylor's leg around so that she is backwards, before hitting the KINGdom Come (Sitout Glam Slam) for the three count. WINNER NEW House of Wrestling Civil Champion, Davina King FINISHING MOVE KINGdom Come (Sitout Glam Slam) |
Match Six HoW Grand Championship Tournament, Round 2 Mikey Svarro vs Bianca Page Just in their two matches before, both competitors employed the same strategy that got them to the win. Bianca focused on her undeniable athleticism and Svarro focused on being underhanded and using anything he could to his advantage. He was constantly being counted on from the ref in this match and had about three attempted pins early on in the match. Bianca Page was on her best, slipping away from any position that Svarro tried to put her in. Mikey was putting it to her with hard elbows in the corner, when he tried to monkeyflip her out. Bianca flipped all the way over, landing directly on her feet. A second later Mikey was walking right into Swanky (Superkick) but unfortunately it only for her a two count. She brought Svarro to his feet, bringing him back down to the canvas with a snap german suplex that somehow sees her lift Mikey! Svarro rolls to the corner and uses the turnbuckle to help himself to his feet. Page runs for a corner high knee, but Svarro spins out of the way, causing Bianca to collide with the post. Svarro uses the few seconds while Bianca pulls herself slowly off the post to regain himself. Before she can turn around, Mikey slams her face first into the turnbuckle, spins her around and deliver a high impact exploding facebuster. He turns her over and hooks her leg but only gets a two count before Page powers out, much to his dismay. Mikey yanks her up and has her in a neckbreaker position, about to drop when he pauses and grins to the crowd. It's all the time that Bianca needs as she spins out, grabbing Svarro's arm as she does. She reels him in for a huge short-arm knee to the face, before connecting into a russian legsweep. With all the momentum in the world she begins her climb up the turnbuckle. She gets to the top and is about to leap, only to stop at the sight in front of her. Dashing Diaz is at the very turnbuckle that Bianca is trying to leap from. He reaches his hand out, offering her a rose yet again! She doesn't take it, but Diaz persists. Again, she shakes her head, only for Diaz to push the rose even closer to her face. Finally, she takes the rose within her grasp and crushes it, letting the petals fall to the floor. Diaz stares, retracting from the apron. Bianca leaps to complete her Pure Elegance (Corkscrew Moonsault), but all the shenanigans has given Mikey time to pay opossum. As Bianca leaps, he rolls forward! Bianca is a pure athlete though, and she is able to catch herself and land on her feet, albeit some stumbling. However, Svarro takes advantage of the stumble, reaching up and pulling her into a schoolboy, using her momentum against her. He manages to keep her in the schoolboy pin, with a little help from pulling her tights, for a quick three count before rolling from the ring with a grin. Bianca instantly gets to her feet. She. Is. LIVID. WINNER Mikey Svarro FINISHING MOVE Schoolboy |
Match Seven HoW Grand Championship Tournament, Round 2 Alex Andrews vs Darcy Graves These two started in hard on one another with different strategies but equally impressive takes. Graves' hard hitting strikes stopped Alex in her tracks as she tried to maneuver around the ring and trap Darcy in the right position for her to deal the final blow. At one point, Andrews manages to bring Darcy to the canvas with a hip toss, connecting it with yet another hip toss to keep her on the floor. Andrews keeps hold of her arm, transitioning into a triangle armbar. Andrews applies tons of pressure, trying to get Darcy to tap! Graves isn't about to give up though, as she forces herself onto her side. She begins smashing her forearm in Alex's face who is forced to let go. Andrews keeps her down with some running knees to a seated position, followed by a standing senton that gives her maybe a one and a half count. Graves is able to battle back with some right hands as she gets up, clutching Alex around the waist for spinning belly-to-belly. Alex is still able to kip up a little, but receives a kick to the gut as she does, followed by a huge double underhook piledriver! Alex looks out, but Darcy covers for only a two count. She doesn't look happy. She lifts Alex up into a gory special, applying pressure as a submission for a few seconds before dropping her on the mat. The crowd suddenly has a mixed reaction, and Darcy spins around to see why. FAITHE has made her way out from the back, one of Darcy's earlier opponents. She has a black chair in her hand, standing in the middle of the ramp. She looks to be...smoking a cigarette? Darcy eggs her on, waving for her to get in the ring if she dares. FAITHE puts the cigarette out on the ramp, and then rushes forward! She's about to slide into the ring, but stops. She waves her hands no, she's not getting in the ring. Graves is confused, while FAITH grins. From the side, Alex rushes up to Darcy, landing a perfect Falcon Punch!(Superman Punch) right to her skull. She falls on top of Darcy and hooks the leg...but she kicks out at two and a half! Darcy turns over to her stomach and Alex gets off her. FAITHE continues grinning, backing up the ramp with a wave. Alex helps Darcy to her feet, who gives Andrews a hard forearm right in her chest. She falls back into the nearby ropes and bounds off, hitting Graves with a rebound leg lariat. As she is getting to he knees, Alex strikes with Brain Death (Step-Up Axe Kick) before quickly hooking her leg for the three count. The crowd erupts as Alex advances as FAITHE seemingly gets revenge. WINNER Alex Andrews FINISHING MOVE Brain Death (Step-Up Axe Kick) |
Match Eight HoW Violent Championship Over the Top Rope Battle Royal The referee holds the Violent Championship on high, and we're notified before the match starts that there will be eleven total participants in the battle royal. We start the match with four competitors in: Noah, Sabrina, Jolyne, and Darcy. The four battle each other, almost resulting in Jolyne being eliminated but she's able to battle back. The competitors don't even realize how much time has passed before the buzzer sounds and Siren makes her way down to the ring. Siren has a moment of energy bursts before she is knocked to the canvas from Sabrina. McKay has a bone to pick. The buzzer sounds and Diaz runs out to the ring, tossing a rose out to the crowd. The six of them are all over the ring, and you'd almost miss it, but Jolyne is able to position herself next to the ropes, hitting a release german suplex that sends Sabrina McKay up and over the ropes. (Sabrina McKay eliminated by Jolyne Fellotino) Bash Blackstone at the commentators table makes a comment about Siren's curse being real, not only did Sabrina lose her match but she is also now the first eliminated. The buzzer sounds and MYRA RIVERS enters the ring! She gets a standing ovation from those familiar with her work. We go another few minutes before another buzzer sounds and MCKENNA HARDY comes out from the back. Some are familiar that she is the daughter of legendary Robb Hardy. She rolls in and enters the fray. The next elimination comes as Siren looks to be ready to hit a top rope moonsault on McKenna, but Noah rushes up the ropes and pushes her off the rop! (Siren eliminated by Noah Ortega) Buzzer and Taylor walks out with Hans behind her who takes his place near the commentators table. Another buzzer and FAITHE makes her way out to the ring as well. Darcy tries to gun right for her but she's caught in a bearhug by Diaz. She makes him pay for it by double chopping the sides of his head before tossing him over the ropes. (Dashing Diaz eliminated by Darcy Graves) The last entrant's music hits, and it's Davina King! At ringside, Ellie explains that the invitation was to everyone except the Grand Championship final competitors, so Davina has every right to enter. It's clear she doesn't have hopes of winning though, as she guns right for Taylor. She spears her to the floor, throwing rights every which way before she picks her up and gorilla presses her out of the ring! Hans is ringside, and Taylor flies right into him! Davina looks up with a smile on her face, leaning against the ropes and shrugging to Taylor. Unfortunately, Myra Rivers takes advantage by landing a high dropkick to Davina's back, sending the Civil Champion over the top rope as well. (Taylor eliminated by Davina King. Davina King eliminated by Myra Rivers) Darcy finally manages to get ahold of FAITHE, attempting to throw her over, but to no avail. The two are using the ropes to somewhat choke one another as much as they can. Graves is pushing over FAITHE's neck with the ropes, trying to push her down. FAITHE headbutts her and steps back inside. FAITHE rushes towards her, when Noah Ortega steps up, and together they toss FAITHE over the top rope. (FAITHE eliminated by Darcy Graves and Noah Ortega) On a different side on the ring, Myra Rivers has been working on Jolyne for quite some time. Myra has DDTd her in the middle of the ring, lifted her up and is trying to push her over the top. Jolyne is fighting back with right hands, until Myra closelines her over the top. But wait! Myra isn't able to celebrate being in the top four because Jolyne has held onto her arm, trying to take her down as well. Mckenna catches sight of this, lifting Myra's legs and eliminating her. (Jolyne eliminated by Myra Rivers. Myra Rivers eliminated by McKenna Hardy) Darcy and Noah have just finished working together against FAITHE, as they turn their attention to the lone McKenna. The inch towards her with right hands but McKenna ducks, bouncing off the ropes and coming back for a split-legged dropkick to both! Both Darcy and Noah kip up and look across to McKenna. She's outnumbered. Ortega rushes her first, so McKenna yanks the ropes down which sends Noah soaring over the top. (Noah Ortega eliminated by McKenna Hardy) There's a staredown between McKenna and Graves. McKenna takes her down with a sidesweep, grounds Darcy and starts throwing elbows. Darcy kicks her off, kipping up into a roundhouse kick. She grabs McKenna into a tigerplex position, but starts climbing up the turnbuckle and dragging Hardy with her. She's trying to toss her over the hard way. McKenna pushes her shoulder into Darcy, almost sending her over the top. What Hardy didn't expect is to not only go with the motion but for Graves to throw McKenna over her shoulder. Both of them crash to the floor below, with McKenna's hitting a second before but enough for the crowd to know who had won the match. (McKenna Hardy eliminated by Darcy Graves) WINNER NEW House of Wrestling Violent Champion, Darcy Graves FINISHING MOVE Tigerplex to the outside |
Main Event No Disqualification HoW Grand Championship Mikey Svarro vs Alex Andrews By this point, both Alex and Mikey were both tired, but more than likely Andrews was moreso. Seeing as how Mikey had somehow stolen his way into the finals and Alex competed throughout. Before the bell, the crowd were cheers and hollaring, mostly for Alex Andrews to come away with the title. The beginning of the match was easily overtaken by Alex. She put on a fine showcase of what she's learned in the Limitless Gym. She hit Svarro with a running knee into the corner, transitioning to the apron and then to the top of the turnbuckle as Svarro stumbles out. Alex leaps into a big missile dropkick and tries to cover but gets a small two count. She doesn't allow it to get to her though, and she powers on, hitting the ropes and bounding back with an elbow drop. She also doesn't seem interested in participating in the No DQ rules. Svarro manages to reverse a suplex that Alex is trying to hoist him up for, and delivers a snap suplex of his own. He stands tall before hitting a standing leg drop and tries to hook for just a one. He walks over to the turnbuckle where he's placed his trusty microphone. He smashes it across Alex's head and slides it out of the ring. The crowd boos as Svarro hooks the leg, but Alex kicks out at the last possible milisecond! Mikey is awestruck! He bangs against the canvas, before rolling out and grabbing a table from under the ring. He sets it up in the middle of the ring, before getting Alex to her feet. Alex fights back, forcing Mikey to battle her in the corner. Svarro tosses her shoulder first into the post, before rolling her up. The ref counts a two, but Alex kicks out yet again! The crowd has no choice to be on their feet now, a small chant starting "Al-Lex An-Drews! ClapClap, ClapClapClap. Al-Lex An-Drews! ClapClap, ClapClapClap"! Mikey yells out to the crowd, more than likely something they didn't want to hear, and waves them off. Svarro turns back to Alex and eats a jawbreaker out of nowhere. Svarro bounds of the ropes and Alex monkey flips him over. He kips up to his feet, as does Alex who hits a hard forearm! He gets to his feet and she drives him back down with a second forearm! He gets up again and this time she spins before landing the forearm, taking him down again. Alex is on a roll! She hits a rolling thunder before popping up into a leaping STO! Mikey is getting to his feet again, when Alex grabs him from behind and plants a firm Hella Rough (Killswitch) right through the table that Svarro set up earlier! The crowd is on their feet as Alex Andrews closes in on the win! ...wait what?! RUMBLE REYES jumps the barricade, sliding into the ring and grabbing Alex from behind. To an amount of boos that absolutely fill the MGM Grand, Rumble Reyes slams her down with a MAG9 Powerbomb (Bad Luck Fall) that leaves her out cold. Rumble places Svarro's arm over Alex for the three count! Rumble grabs the belt and helps Mikey to his feet, who leans against Reyes and raises the Grand Championship high.
