LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena
LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena
At first, all we hear is the ticking of a clock.
Yes, it’s a bit cliche’ but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s all we hear. A rhythmic ticking sound echoing in absolute darkness. Naturally, we open on a Grandfather clock, standing tall and ticking away like a timebomb. Mid-swing, the clock comes to a sudden halt as if time was standing still.
Wade Manson: Do you recall the very first time you laid eyes upon The Division?
The voice echoes through the open room we find ourselves in, the shot widening to show the grandfather clock at the back of the room. In the shadows of the rooms were various home furniture items, family photos and the like, of course belonging to an unknown. Manson’s voice comes in from the top, entering down the stairs and giving us confirmation that we’re in some sort of dimly lit house.
Wade Manson: It doesn’t matter where you were, which company you were viewing, because it's the same everywhere. It starts small. A fair warning to the public, and they can choose to do with that what they will. A timer begins, much like the one you’ve just heard. The seconds ticking away until they’re hopes and dreams are completely ripped from their beings. Before long, The Division has completely infected your surroundings and all that’s left to do is watch everyone around you fall.
He rounds the bannister, on his way into the middle of the room. He slows down as he passes the end table, a single photo frame sitting a top it. Manson chooses to inch his hand forward, giving the frame a small push. It lands face first on the wooden end table with a loud smack.
Wade Manson: House of Wrestling has been no different. Olly and McKena found themselves a home here, and if we fast forward to today, Bash Blackstone has given us all a free pass to come and go as we please. What’s more, we’re at the top of just about every damn company within the Agora Network!
There’s a creaking of the wood that surprises viewers, but Manson doesn’t react. A second later, The Anomaly enters from the right through an archway to another room.
RAZE: Maybe Olly didn’t capture the Grand Championship, but he might as well have ended poor Chris Night’s career because the old man hasn’t been the same since. Jessi capitalized on the moment, bravo to her, but The Division always have a plan. McKena had already won the Golden Nightmares match, she’d already guaranteed The Division would be in the main event of HouseWARming. You think you’ve got us beat, only to find out that we’re two steps ahead. The harder you try to catch up, the faster you fall behind.
Manson leans against a credenza that’s pushed against the far left side, crossing his arms. Meanwhile, RAZE finds himself running his fingers along the face of the grandfather clock. The mad look in his eyes kept him from focusing on the camera in front of him.
RAZE: Alex and Davina, this was never your fight to begin with so you’d do well to take yourselves out of the equation. Your issues were with Bash, and as Jack has stated, our issues are purely business. That’s all. I know you think your lives ARE this business and that sounds great, but I’d hate to see you putting your lives on the line for HoW. I'd hate to see your career end because you thought it wasn't more than this.
As if on cue there is a sudden flicker of a lighter striking in the background. The flame dances against the pitch black backdrop as it licks at the end of a cigar for a moment and then dies out, leaving a cherry red ember glowing in the darkness. The ember grows brighter as Jack Graves emerges from the shadows accompanied by a cloud of smoke. He takes a few steps toward the camera and he smirks.
Jack Graves: If you do decide to put your lives on the line and you continue to get in our way then this will no longer be “just business.” It will be fuckin’ PERSONAL. That means that you, and everyone you care about will become a mothafuckin’ target and there is no line that I won’t cross to take you out. You’ve seen what I’m capable of, Davina. You are well aware of the sort of vicious motherfucker you’re up against. Don’t do this to yourself. Don’t become a victim like the rest of the people who’ve tried to oppose us.
Jack takes another drag off the blunt and he moves over to a nearby table to begin pouring a glass of whiskey for each of them as he speaks.
Jack Graves: I have enough respect for you to give you this one warning but it’s the only one that you’ll get. Stay out of our way or you can burn with the rest..
Jack tips back the drink and he downs it in a single gulp before putting the glass back on the table with a thud. McKena smirks and shakes her head at Jack.
McKena Hardy: Jack, Wade and Raze are all right. We can’t and won’t be stopped and this shit? We’re going to keep on lying everyone out. We’re going to keep on dominating this company and every other company that we are in. The Division will continue to rule over everything.
She nodded confidently.
McKena Hardy: And Raynes? Do you really want to play the hero? I advise you to walk out of here and save yourself. Or is it that you want to be a martyr? Because you keep on crying like a little bitch. Hell, you’ve been crying ever since Julian beat you for the Chicago Championship and then threw that shit in the trash to prove a point. That point is? We can take whatever we want. We divide and we conquer and the rest of the world? Well, you’re playing by our rules now. You'll see that tonight. And as for Jess?
McKena laughs lightly.
McKena Hardy: You’ll be seeing that real soon. Bitch.
In the background, RAZE had been messing with some sort of gas can which has suddenly spilled across the floor. It makes a trail over to Graves. Jack looks across the way to the rest of them.
Wade Manson: Let's burn the House down!
Jack takes one last drag, before tossing his lit blunt towards the stream of gas. As it hit, the scene goes dark.
There's an echo of footsteps that start further away. As they continue, the sound gets louder and faster until the footsteps are right outside the door that we open on. Davina King enters the scene from the side of the camera, looking a bit worried as she walks towards the door. She pushes the middle, letting the door swing open. Although the camera can't see who is on the other side, Davina looks rather relieved to see whoever it is.
DAVINA KING: Oh hey...it's just you. Ya never know 'round these parts...
The crimson red hair peaks in from behind the door that Davina was holding open.
FAITHE: Tell me about it. Not only did I get to Chris just a smidge too late when they attacked him backstage, but I was out at ringside when they broke Gloria's arm. I know all about the lengths they'll go to...but no sneak attacks tonight.
Faithe held her hands up, though he was hoping Davina would understand that she was attempting to make a joke. Davina nodded and let out a feint chuckle, more than likely just being polite.
DAVINA KING: Were you looking for Alex? She's just changin', she'll be out in a sec...
The team of Davina and Alex had found each other spending much more time together. After all, they had teamed up to defeat Bash and his goons, and were now hoping to do away with The Division. Of course, Andrews had previously found herself in the corner of Faithe and Nightfall. Davina knew they were on good terms.
FAITHE: Well yeah, but actually I wanted to talk to you too.
DAVINA KING: Me? What you wanna talk to me about? Do we need to wait for Alex?
She thought it over for a moment, but ultimately decided to continue.
FAITHE: I think that we can give Alex the sparknotes version and she'll understand where I'm comin' from. This wouldn't be the first time we found each other on the same side.
Davina didn't say a thing, allowing the Las Vegas Fever Dream to continue.
FAITHE: So listen, I know you don't know me and we have never had any sort of friendship. Despite both being in House of Wrestling since the beginning, I suppose we never had a reason to cross paths. Either way, we do now. I first wanted to say thanks for everything you went through with Bash. I know you did it not just for yourself but for everyone else here under contract. Just like Alex, you want to make this place great. I can respect that.
DAVINA KING: Real recognize real.
Davina reached her hand forward to dap Faithe up.
FAITHE: Maybe we didn't have a reason to cross paths before, but now we do. The Division wants to come into OUR House and turn this place into chaos. They want to see it all burn, and everyone in it. Judging by your actions two weeks ago, it looks like we're on the same side whether we like it or not. However, I'm more than glad to have you as an ally. Just know that whenever you need me, I'll have your back, and Alex's. Chris is here for you too, I know Alex knows that.
She reached her hand forward, hoping Davina could see that she was being genuine.
DAVINA KING: Knowing how these fools like to run around backstage and attack people, it took a lot of guts to come here on your own and make peace with me. I think we both see the bigger picture here and know what needs to be done. Alex is my girl and I trust her with my entire career at this point - I put my very career on the line and that girl stood by me. We're in this thing for the long haul, an I know that you and Nightfall are too.
King reaches her hand forward as well, shaking Faithe's hand and further extending The Alliance against The Division. They couldn't hear it, but the audience at the MGM Grand Garden Arena was cheering loudly!
The man walks up the ramp to an outstanding amount of boos. They all bounce off his back like he doesn't know anyone else is in the room with him right now. When he gets to the top of the ramp, he turns around and for the first time acknowledges everyone else in the room. Then he looks at the two in the ring that are just now beginning to stir. He motions for a microphone and waits just a moment before the staff bring one to him.
// Tank Austen \\
I know that right now everyone is looking at me with a huge question mark on their face. They're looking at me and they're wondering WHY. They're wondering WHO. Who am I? My name is Tank Austen and I came to House of Wrestling to do what you just saw me do. I came to make sure people like them are put six feet under. These two were out here trying to have some upstanding match, trying to shake hands with on another. These people want to see AGGRESSION. Tank Austen is the one that can give that to them. We're not hear for gumdrops and rainbows.
He shakes his head as a wave of boos attempt to get louder than him.
// Tank Austen \\
So sad...boo hoo...you don't like what I have to say? Then you're only lying to yourselves. You people look at solid, competitive matches between two people who have no issues with one another and you get bored. You get bored and you stop paying attention the programming. You want to be this audience that believes in the hero, but in your deepest hearts you know that you don't want to see the hero. You want to see THE VILLAIN! The Villain is here!
He aggressively drops the microphone on the steel ramp and "Tattoo" by Mercy Drive plays him out.
“Classy” Bianca Page walks into her private locker room. She sees a bouquet of flowers sitting on a table. Bianca smiles and walks over to the flowers. She smells them and grabs the card. Bianca looks at the card to see it is from Bash Blackstone and Veronica Taylor. Smiling Bianca sets the card on the table next to the flowers.
“Classy” Bianca Page:Not surprising I should always get my flowers. Just like I will always shine when I step into any wrestling ring. Like I will tonight. Not just because I will have the support of my girl, Vero, tonight. I am not even saying that I am better than my opposition tonight. Lilith is a great talent but she truly is a tag team specialist. I am not trying to be disrespectful, I am just being real.
Bianca smiles as she takes a seat on the couch in her locker room.
“Classy” Bianca Page:I know you are a proud woman, Lilith. You and your sister have been on a hell of a run since you came onto the scene. You have even been an important part of the Queens of Chaos. You have been riding on the edge of a lightning bolt. But let's come back to reality, Lilith, while you have been riding the coattails of those around you. I have gained all my success on my own. Which is why I have Veronica watching my back to make sure Kayla can’t help you get an advantage over me. Now if you don’t want to take my word for it then that is fine, Lilith, but I will gladly set you straight inside the ring tonight.
Biana devilishly smiles.
“Classy” Bianca Page:It is quite evident that the Queens of Chaos and The Division are attempting to run rough shots over HOW. It is really quite clever. It really is. It made me realize that Vero, Bash, and I need to make some new friends. So…HOW don’t blame us when we give all of you what you have given us.
We go from ringside, to somewhere backstage when we open in an unknown location. There's darkness almost everywhere, but more like a dark grey filter on everything. Suddenly, Siren comes into perfect view, the only thing in color.
"Myra...Myra...Myra...
Maybe it's possible that the gold you are holding has gotten to your head. Because you are not the same person that walked through those doors a year ago. You have changed right under your very nose and you have not even realized it. You pretend to be the same Myra Rivers who first on that Civil Championship against Bianca Page. You wanted to be a great champion at that point. You were a kind and caring person. But now all you do is pretend. You want so badly to be liked by everyone, so badly to be recognized as a good person. Good people don't care about if others give them acknowledgment, good people do not care about titles or prestige of being a good person, they simply ARE good. It's this fake that tells me how fake you really are. What I say is that you should let your freak flag fly, break out from that prison that you have built for yourself. I know you would love to go completely crazy and to not care about what others think of you. Until that time, people will always be able to see through you.
You may have your title Myra, but you will never have what you truly want until you're honest with yourself. Your defeat tonight will make the swift downfall of Myra Rivers."
Blackout.
TOMOKO OTA: I feel as if this match will test me.
Tomoko is shown leaning against a hallway wall as the camera comes to life. The House of Wrestling Pure Championship rests on her shoulder.
TOMOKO OTA: I have noticed something as my time in House of Wrestling grows. Many people have friends here. Many people have tag team partners. Many people have groups—
She pauses for a moment.
TOMOKO OTA: I don’t have any of those things here. In fact, the only thing I truly have is my talent and my pride.
She nods her head.
TOMOKO OTA: That fact has been on my mind as I head into tonight’s match. A duo with relatively unknown motives will be standing opposite of me. And in my corner? A woman who did everything in her power to degrade and disparage me after my debut.
There’s another pause.
TOMOKO OTA: I don’t know if there is anyone I can trust…
She shakes her head.
TOMOKO OTA: The only thing that is clear is that everyone stepping into the ring believes they will be Pure Champion very soon.
A brief moment passes.
TOMOKO OTA: There is nothing wrong with having confidence in one’s self. In fact, it is needed to survive in this sport. But clear and logical thinking are essential as well. Me winning the House of Wrestling Pure Championship was not an accident or stroke of good luck. I trained and prepared myself. I faced adversity and overcame it. And of course, I was victorious! Against other contenders and the champion herself.
Tomoko takes a moment to think.
TOMOKO OTA: I clawed my way to the Pure Championship. I fought, and struggled, and thrived. So think you are just going to waltz in here and take it from me? It’s overzealous. It’s also very foolish. Strong words and little bravado won’t be enough to topple me, not by a long shot.
Two or three seconds pass by.
TOMOKO OTA: Faizah? I promised you that we would co-exist. But that is all this is, two co-workers doing a job. Please understand this.
The camera fades out afterwards.
The camera cuts on HoW Civil Champion Myra RIvers in the locker room and the moment she sees the red light, she lets out a sigh. She’s absolutely not happy with the situation that she finds herself in and she’s wasting absolutely no time expressing her thoughts on this.
Myra Rivers: Really?
Myra rolls her eyes at this, further showcasing her unhappiness for the situation.
Myra Rivers: You know, if being misutilized in a special referee role I wanted no part in two weeks ago wasn’t bad enough. I mean, I did what I had to do. I called it right down the middle. But the thing of it is, I was in a no win situation because no matter what the outcome was, the loser was going to claim that there was a fast count. Blackstone is clearly on some percs right now, honestly. There was some stuff said on social media that was so STUPID that it’s not even worth discussing because you’re going to have your people who have their head so far up their ass that no matter what facts you through in their face, they’re always going to believe what they believe. It’s sad, honestly. I hate to sound old at this point but the thing is, it seems that the longer in the tooth I get in this business, the worse the younger generations seem to get when it comes to their egos and their senses of entitlement. I don’t even need to talk about how I don’t fear anybody despite the picture that some people want to paint because anyone with a brain knows the truth.
Anyone that doesn’t?
Well, I suppose that this match epitomizes everything doesn’t it?
I think it’s pretty obvious that Blackstone believes there was a fast count when there wasn’t. Let me just tell it like it is. Jewel, look in the fucking mirror. It’s nobody’s fault but yours that you’ve faced Bea Carter twice and couldn’t win. That’s all I really NEED to say about that. Now as for tonight? To have TWO special referees? That in and of itself is absurd. To have them be two people that CLEARLY don’t like me? I mean SERIOUSLY.
In all my years in this business, this has to be among one of the stupidest matches I’ve ever been apart of and that’s not even taking into account the fact that Siren herself is a god damned idiot. Then again, maybe it’s because she doesn’t have a mind of her own and everything that she says and does goes through this “caretaker” of hers. If you include Caliban in the picture, this might as well be a four on one handicap match at this point. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve overcome some odds before, but there’s a big difference between seemingly insurmountable odds and stupid odds… and there’s no doubt about it, this one is the latter. The odds are stacked against me in numbers only because one on one when there’s no bullshit like this going on, I can beat them all…
And in Bea’s case, I already have.
The one positive that I can take away from this is that at least I’ve been around long enough to know that these types of stupid situations have a way of working out in the end for me, even if it’s not particularly the night or the match in question and that’s just what I am going to have to take into this face of a match. This isn’t to downplay Siren or her abilities as a professional wrestler or anything like that, but lately, it really feels like I’ve been babysitting a bunch of children… hell, my nine year old appears to be more mature than her, Bea and Jewel put together. Yeah, those three REALLY need to look in the damn mirror. I wasn’t joking about that.
And I’m not joking when I say that when it all comes down to it, I’m going to overcome all of this nonsense. This doesn’t compare to some of the obstacles I’ve had to face over my career and it definitely doesn’t compare to the nonsense I had dealt with just before I came here. I’m not going to dwell on any conspiracy theories or any of that nonsensical social media banter or none of that. The way to deal with this is to make the most of it and find a way to turn what is obviously a bunch of negatives at the moment to a brighter positive in the end. Ultimately? That’s what I am going to have to do… and will do…
Myra makes her exit from the scene at this point, still visibly angry and frustrated as the scene itself fades out.
The scene begins in a tavern. Your usual low fantasy sort of tavern, with a salty looking bald barman, a serving woman with a tray full of tankards. It’s a far cry from the House of Wrestling, but with the type of film editing like this, anyone watching knows this is a Ryl of Scardale production coming. Adventurers carouse and argue, drinking from horns of ale or tankards. The camera slowly passes the rabble rousers, panning and tightening into a corner where Lolth’s Champion, the Beast of Berkness awaits. Ryl has her hood up, smoothly reaching up and grabbing a tankard for herself before taking a sip.
Ryl of Scardale: Have you ever faced a hydra?
The Orchid Serpent stared into the frothy surface of the mug before taking a sip.
Ryl of Scardale: A hydra is a curious creature...Many heads, twisting about in serpentine fashion, attached to draconian flesh. The regenerative properties of the hydra are the most fearsome. Cut down one head and two more grow. Only fire can diminish the powers of the hydra, at least long enough to claim all the heads quickly enough. An apt description of the Red Plagues.
Lolth’s Champion closes her eyes and takes a more healthy gulp from her mug, wiping her mouth with one sleeve.
Ryl of Scardale: That night at Foundations XXII, the lady Madison of House Lewis, the former symbol of violence and I had a blade to one of your throats. For a moment still we might have seen a co-championing until there might have been a chance for me to face her in pitched combat. Instead it was naught to be. In complete bedlam, you...You as a hydra have stolen away the Belt of Champion’s Violence. You, Archer. You, KERBEROS. You, Douglas...So when you are finally cut down, there will be the prize. I shall not lose sleep if you see me as no contender, little more than a green squire playing at war. Myself, Ortega, and Lewis come with a single goal regardless.
Ryl’s eyes looked up.
Ryl of Scardale: To scour the flesh that is beset by this Red Plague.
The former Violent Champion Madz was standing in front of the camera backstage. She was bit frustrated at the moment. Not only did she have to team with 2 people she didn't care for she had lost her championship to the red plague. They say Emma is the Violent Champion but it took all 3 members to pile on top of her to even win madz championship. She was pacing back and forth. She had lost her Violent Championship. A title she made into something. The Violent division was dead until Madison Lewis came along and made it great again. She is the GOAT of the Violent division.
MADZ -
746 pounds! Sounds crazy right? But it's not I had 3 people piled on top of me. 3 people! Like Emma babe just admit your not capable of beating the GOAT of the Violent division. You needed your boyfriend and your minion to help you accomplish your goal. Did yall see Dylan try and help me retain my championship? No because when we are in that ring it's all business. We have no boyfriend or girlfriend title in the ring. You know Emma if your not capable of beating me one on one all you had to do was say it. I mean I know it was a gauntlet thing but still.
Madz was heated. She was more determined than ever right now. She wanted Emma one on one and she will get that opportunity. She just has to team with 2 people that are literally at the bottom of her totem pole. 2 people would never choose as her partner. Especially Noah Ortega. He was her mortal enemy. Ryl on the other hand is very new to her.
MADZ -
Tonight my moment is in the hands of 2 other people. Who I hope doesn't let me down. This isn't about revenge either. This is about me getting my Violent Championship back. Trust me when I say that I will be taking it back. Let's just say the Violent title is on vacation with a thief. the red plague I'm coming for yall. You don't steal something from me and not expect a little chaos to happen.
Madz would smile. She couldn't trust Noah or Ryl so really she was going into this alone.
MADZ -
Yall make sure you watch the Violent queen take out the red plague one member at a time. Ryl and Noah your either with me or against me there's no in-between.
Madz would push the camera out of her face before walking off down the hallways.
The camera roughly cuts to The Hound himself, KERBEROS, although his gaze points to above the camera lens. He appears to be kneeling, the shot perfectly center-aligned. We begin to pan out, and we gain further confirmation that he is indeed kneeling. It’s a sudden shock to see his hands covered in a red liquid, palms outstretched towards the camera. We pan out further and begin to see figures on either side of him, revealed to be Emma Douglas and Archer. We stop panning once all three members are in view.
Archer: Do you believe me now?
The Architect of Ultraviolence places his right hand on the shoulder of KERBEROS, as Emma does the same with her left. Archer kneels down, taking KERBEROS’ hand in his and helping him up to his feet.
Archer: For months we waited, biding our time and allowing the House of Wrestling to shift around us. Things look much different from when I first signed here. Each week you would see some level of ridiculousness, some level of buffoonery in which yet another person narrowly escaped the clutches of the Red Plague. You can only test your luck for so long until that luck runs out. HoW had been on borrowed time for quite a while.
The three begin to shift about, with Archer now standing in the middle as he speaks.
Archer: Madz knew that heading into the Violent Scramble. Although there was no way for her to correctly predict the events that transpired, she knew the Red Plague was coming for her. She knew she was on borrowed time. I’ve been dealing with Madison Lewis for quite a bit now, and I can admit that she’s not dumb, she knew who the true threats were. She just wasn’t smart enough to see the full extent of our grasp and she paid the price for that. She paid with her pride and joy, the House of Wrestling Violent Championship.
They begin to shift about once again, this time so that the Violent Championship was clearly visible. It had been housed upon Emma’s outside shoulder for the entirety of the scene but now that she was in the middle of the shot, she also showcased the championship.
Archer: Now, this belt doesn’t belong to me… it doesn’t belong to KERBEROS…doesn’t belong to Emma. If you want to be champion, you’re going to have to beat us all. Simple concept, but a feat that is much easier said than done. You already knew that Emma and I together have been able to tear through our enemies, but now that the Red Plague is whole with KERBEROS, we’ll be damn near unstoppable. The rivers will never stop flowing red!
The three begin to chuckle, when the screen goes static.
The scene cuts backstage, in a darkened lit area, we see the Toughest Out, Andrew Raynes getting himself prepared for the main event tonight. He is focused, with one of the youngest members of the division opposite him, he knows this is going to be a challenge for him tonight.
Andrew Raynes:
That was simply one down.
It was a message to everyone across the board what Andrew Raynes is truly about. Thatcher being one of the tougher members of the division was an appropriate start to my time here in HoW and a preview of what's to come moving forward. You think it was a coincidence that olly didn't bother to come to ringside with thatcher, only waiting until i won the match and show up and bust me wide open and look tougher than he truly is.
He knows deep down how fucked the Division is because I’m here.
Andrew chuckles, pacing back and forth a little as he keeps getting himself into his mindset for tonight.
Andrew Raynes:
Given how tough Thatcher was, I can only hope that McKena can offer me the same sort of challenge. I don't care that you are the youngest, newest member of the Division. I don't care that you come from a wrestling family. When you step into that ring with me, it's a whole different ball game.
I welcome the challenge, another Division member trying to take me down. You will see just how much I am a tough nut to crack and come away with a victory. It;s not just about the division, having Jessi at ringside too will show her and everyone else just how tough I can be and what truly awaits everyone here in this company. I am one of the best, I will prove it once again and put everyone on notice that I am the one to look out for around here.
See you tonight.
After the dust has settled and all competitors have left the ring, we’re left with nothing but the House crowd chanting and cheering for their favorite superstars. Suddenly, “Sledgehammer” by Peter Gabriel begins to blare from the PA system and the boos begin to fill the arena. They really thought they were going to be able to go a whole show without seeing Bash Blackstone but not only do they, he’s coming out to the ring. His perfectly quaffed hair comes out from behind the black curtain, followed closely by both Veronica Taylor and Bianca Page. All three look beyond thrilled as they make their way down the ramp. Blackstone walks up the steps first, sitting on the second rope and allowing the girls to duck into the ring before him. Once they are all in the ring, Bash motions for a microphone.
BASH BLACKSTONE: Thank you all for coming tonight to our first Jenson Idol-free Foundations in quite a while!
He takes the microphone away from his lips for just a moment, allowing the crowd to boo again. It slowly dissipates when he brings the microphone back up.
BASH BLACKSTONE: Look, I know that you all want to blame me for your newest flavor of the week not being here but I’d like you to know that I had nothing to do with this. Jenson isn’t here because Jenson doesn’t want to be here. I didn’t ban him from the premises, I didn’t take out any sort of restraining order, I did absolutely nothing of the sort. If you want to know my opinion, I’d say the guy finally cracked. He finally understood that House of Wrestling belongs to ME and when he decided to screw me over, he was sealing his fate here. Jenson Idol will never be anything here, nobody will ever remember him being here. It’ll be as if he’s never even existed here!
The boos begin to get so loud that they are getting louder than Bash is speaking. Inside the ring, both Bianca and Veronica look offended. They make faces at the crowd that show their disapproval.
BASH BLACKSTONE: You think that dickhead cares about any of you?! You only like that fool because you think he was able to pull one over on me but look at him now! Nowhere! While WE are here with our heads held high. I’m the only reason that punk was even able to get that title shot he has. I’m the only reason he was even a deal here at all. Jenson Idol never belonged here in House of Wrestling…and now we’ll never have to see him again.
Bash looks over to Veronica, and then to Bianca, and all three begin to chuckle once more. Without warning, “Patience is the Virtue” by Slaves begins to pour through the speakers. The place goes ballistic, knowing full well that this is Jenson’s entrance music despite being told that he wasn’t here. The trio in the ring are bewildered! They first look up the ramp and place their backs the opposite way, waiting for Idol to arrive. They realize their backs aren’t covered, and turn behind them, looking through the crowd.
Their eyes dart every which way, even up to the rafters, wondering which way Jenson could be coming from. They group up together, sliding out of the ring and to the bottom of the ramp. Once the three are there, the music fades. The looks on their faces become relieved, their nerves subsiding with every second.
BASH BLACKSTONE: Haha very funny…someone in the sound booth must’ve pulled a little prank on me. Haha, you know I-
You could hear it sloshing through the air before you could see it, and when you did see it, there wasn’t even enough time to yell out a warning. A second layer, the trio are covered in some sort of black liquid that is probably supposed to resemble tar! You can make that assumption because the liquid is then followed by a ton of white feathers that float down and land on the three. The crowd is in hysterics, and the trio are almost in shock. Then, the girls begin to shriek, and Bash is yelling nonsense! The HoW staff are rushing to assist the three as we go to commercial.
We Fade.
Opener Tag Team Rules House of Wrestling World Tag Team Championships Strike2Kill(c) vs Midnight Demon Club For the second show in a row, the House is bringing you the very BEST of the tag team division right as the show opens! Everyone is in their seats by the time the show begins, and the new World Tag Team Champions make their way down to the ring. S2K are more beloved than before, with the Midnight Demon Club fans really giving them a run for their money with the cheers. MDC look pumped for the opportunity to get "their" belts back, despite being on good terms with the new champions. We start with Skye and Watson in the ring, circling one another and looking for an opening. Noa is able to grab hold of Miles arm, bouncing off the ropes into a springboard arm drag. Watson kips up and is given a crossbody from Noa, going for a quick pin attempt but Miles kicks out. They roll to their feet at the same time and both leap into dropkicks, both connecting with the canvas. Noa tries for a kick to the gut the second time, which Watson catches. He follows it up with an enziguri, and then shows off his speed by nailing a basement STO as she tries to get back to her feet. Showing off their teamwork, Watson leaps to his corner quickly and tags him partner in. Liam rockets in, but Noa sees it coming and springs up with a high knee that catches Richardsen across the chin. He stumbles back into the ropes and right into a float-over DDT from Skye as he bounds back! She goes over to one of the neutral corners, stepping up to the second rope. As Liam gets to his feet, she leaps off, only to get an axe handle to her gut. She catches her enough to land on her feet, albeit clutching her midsection. Naturally, Liam rushes her and tries to take advantage, but Noa plants an elbow to his chest! Liam falls to the mat due to the force, giving Noa time to leap to her corner and tag Silas in! Romero rushes in and takes down Liam with a lariat! Liam rolls through and back to his feet, only to be taken out by a second lariat from Silas. Romero rushes to their corner where Miles still is, looking to give him a lariat off the apron, but Miles sees it coming! Watson moves out of the way, then landing a hard uppercut that brings Romero back to reality. Liam grabs Silas from behind, first dragging him back to the middle of the ring and trying to give him a waistlock takedown. However, Silas isn't allowing himself to be taken down. Instead, the two headbutt one another at the same time! Richardsen stumbles back into his corner, causing a tag from Miles just as Noa is tagged back in from Silas! Both Romero and Liam slide out of the ring, clutching their foreheads. As Watson and Skye come back into the ring, suddenly Rodney Salavea hops up onto the apron just as Noa Skye had done two weeks prior! The referee yells to him to get off the apron or security will escort him out to the back. Of course, the other Salavea twin is missing and Jacob pops up inside the ring, slamming one of the belts to the back of Noa's head. Miles rushes him too but he's blasted with a Sudden Impact (Samoan Spike) from Leati! They place Miles' arm across Noa and slide out, just as Rodney hops from the apron. The referee turns around, dropping to the canvas. Silas begins to slide in to make the save, but Liam, who missed most of what happened, stops him! The referee counts the three and the Salavea Boys back up the ramp with nothin' but smirks on their faces! WINNER AND STILL House of Wrestling World Tag Team Champions, Strike2Kill! FINISHING MOVE Belt to the back of the head |
Match Two Bart Ramsey vs Kelly Taylor The excitement from the opening tag match quiets down, and the loveable Bart Ramsay walks down the ramp to nothing but cheers. Bart looks ready for anything as he slides in, raising his hands to the crowd. The newcomer Kelly Taylor walks down the ramp next, the House crowd not exactly sure what to think but they are impressed by her size. The bell rings and the two go in for a test of strength. Kelly surprises everyone when she's able to show off her strength by overpowering Bart! She picks him up and slams him back down with a hard scoop slam. Taylor bounds off the ropes slowly, bounding back into an attempted knee drop! Luckily, Ramsay is able to move out of the way, and Kelly ends up slamming her knee to the mat. On the complete opposite side of the coin now, Bart shows off his speed by rushing to the corner and leaping up to the second rope. He spins around and jumps at the same time, taking Kelly down with a flying DDT that impresses the crowd! Bart rushes towards the ropes, springboarding off into a moonsault! But Kelly sees it coming and pops up at the last second! Not only does she move out of place, but she pops to her feet so fast that she is able to catch Bart onto her shoulder! The crowd are amazed, as is Bart right before he is slammed down to the mat with a powerslam! Kelly tries for a pin but Bart kicks out. Taylor walks around Bart, deadlifting him off the mat completely and raising him above her head. The audience have no choice but to clap at such a sign of strength! Kelly can't help but smile inside the ring and that's probably where she slips up. She holds Bart up for too long and begins to falter, giving him ample space to slip down her back and curl her up into a schoolboy! The referee drops for a count but Kelly shoots her shoulder into the air. Bart fights his speed against Kelly's power in a display of technique, with both taking control at different times and really keeping the audience intrigued. Kelly also shows of some technical prowess when she is able to apply a fujiwara armbar on Bart, but Ramsay proves smart by shifting his weight and taking her over with a crucifix pin! The referee drops to the mat and counts the three before Kelly is able to realize she's been bamboozled! The bell rings and Bart has his arm raised, though you can see he feels a little bad. He reaches his hand out and shakes Kelly's hand, letting her know that she's done a great job. He raises her arm as well as the crowd cheer, letting the newcomer have her moment in the sun as well. Suddenly, a huge man comes barreling into the ring with a huge shoulder block to Kelly that knocks her into Bart and both fall to the mat. The behemoth lifts Kelly off the mat and then drives her back down with a Tomahawk (Package Piledriver)! Disgusted by this, Bart rushes towards the man but Ramsay has been in a match the whole time and also falls to a vicious Tomahawk (Package Piledriver)! The boos fill the MGM Grand Garden Arena as both Kelly and Bart are laid out. WINNER Bart Ramsay FINISHING MOVE Crucifix |
// Tank Austen \\
// Tank Austen \\
Match Three Violent Rules VixSin vs Chika Aramura Two weeks ago, Chika was one of the multiple contenders that was inches away from walking away with the Violent Championship. Tonight, she wants nothing more than to lay into someone new and to show she belongs in that title picture. VixSin wants something similar, proving herself in a newer environment here in the House. The two couldn't have more different reactions from the crowd, though neither put too much stock in it either way. There's a flurry between the two once the bell rings and they meet in the middle with a barrage of punches and kicks. When they separate, they both end up outside the ring looking for foreign weapons. VixSin has just grabbed a trash can when Chika rushes along the top of the barricade, leaping off into a missile dropkick that puts the trash can to VixSin's chest! Chika grabs a kendo stick, whacking the hell out of her. However, with each strike it's almost as if VixSin is enjoying the pain she's being put through. In fact, she works through the pain and up to her feet, through the strikes and lands a forearm to Chika's face. VixSin grabs Chika into a front suplex, before dropping her forward into her knee with a pop! VixSin grabs hold of Chika with both hand around her neck, yanking her up to her feet. VixSin then lifts Aramura into the air, with Chika yelling the entire time. VixSin then tosses Aramura into the nearby barricade. As Chika is getting to her feet, VixSin grabs her head from behind and slams her face first into the barricade. She then looks under the ring, grabbing a large ring bell. VixSin rushes forward with it but Aramura ducks! VixSin swings wide, and Chika leaps into the air with a flying forearm that connects to the back of VixSin's head. VixSin crashes into the steel steps but only bumps her knee. She turns back to Chika and the two end up in a flurry of fists yet again. VixSin is able to lift Aramura up into a flapjack, letting Chika fall face first into the side of the apron! She lifts Aramura into the air by placing Chika onto her back in a torture tack position. Aramura yells out in pain, but she's not showing any signs of tapping out. Because she's being lifted into the air, Chika is able to grab onto the ropes. She uses them to yank herself off VixSin's shoulders and onto the apron. When VixSin turns around, Aramura is able to leap into a hurricanrana driver that drivers her head right into the ground! Chika sizes her up and waits for VixSin to get to her feet before she lands a kick to her midsection. Impressing the crowd, Aramura jumps into Judgement Day (Canadian Destroyer), landing right on top of the steel steps with a hard thud! The crowd are on their feet as Chika crawls over to VixSin, pushing her over and hooking her leg for the three count. WINNER Chika Aramura FINISHING MOVE Judgement Day (Canadian Destroyer) |
Match Four Pure Rules Jenna Sharpe vs Vladislav We get ten minutes on the clock for the Pure Rules matchup. The Rose of Calgary makes her presence known, with the House crowd firmly behind her. Despite Jenna recently having a bumpy time, she's always remained near the top of the pack and she's looking to further that here tonight. Of course, the powerhouse known as Vladislav walks down next to a mixed reaction. The audience are still unsure of what to think about him, but he has proven himself to be a competitor. It'll be interesting to see how their styles clash. Vladislav first focuses on overpowering Sharpe, but Jenna expects that from him. She's a little more shocked when he begins to break out some technical prowess. Sharpe turns into a spinning heel kick, but Vlad is able to catch her leg. She goes for a step up enzugiri, but Vlad is able to duck her kick again. He leg traps her, and plants her to the mat with a backdrop, before locking in a sharpshooter. Although Jenna wasn't expecting it, she can still maneuver her way for a rope break. Jenna works on keeping herself from his grasp, leaping from the second rope into a hurricanrana that goes wrong. Instead, Vladislav gives her a hard powerbomb down to the canvas. He folds up her legs and steps over into a Texas cloverleaf! The House crowd cheer her on as she forces her way up to her arms and inches towards the bottom rope. She grabs onto it, forcing her second rope break before Vladislav is used his first. She looks discouraged because of it, but she's not about to give up. She switches strategies, and kicks at Vlad's arm as he reaches out for her. This works a couple times until he backs up, only to receive a forearm from Sharpe. She takes him to the mat with a running armbreaker, transitioning into a cross armbar! Vlad yells out in pain as Jenna reels back, but he works his way to his knees, then dragging Jenna to the ropes for a rope break. Coming out of the corner, Vladislav goes for an axehandle that Jenna dodges! She quickly takes the same arm as before and rolls into Sharpe Instinct (Fujiwara armbar)! Again, Vladislav finds himself in a situation where he has to inch towards the ropes. Both competitors are at two rope breaks each when Sharpe is able to keep her momentum going, sliding into her Devil's Trap (Last Chancery)! Vlad gets created, this time backing up as much as he can, almost tapping out before he gets his foot to the bottom ropes and uses his third rope break! He's without a floatation device now, as they say. Sharpe makes a crucial mistake though, and is to excited with her advantage. Vladislav surprises her with his Iron Curtain Lock (Crossface Indian Deathlock), which really has Sharpe flailing because she did not expect to be in a submission hold. She reaches with all her might, but she's not going anywhere due to the move. Still, she refuses to give up, not tapping, albeit you can tell the pain is really getting to her! A huge buzzer sounds, and the time limit is reached! The referee ends up ringing the bell and making Vladislav release Jenna. The two were so engaged in battle, they didn't realize the time limit was getting close. Sharpe stands up, locking eyes with Vladislav. The two look beat and bruised, but they're still kicking, and they know this isn't over. WINNER No Contest FINISHING MOVE Time Limit Draw |
Blackout.
Match Five The Salavea Twins vs Jvstice Hardy & FAITHE The former World Tag Team Champions make their way down to the ring, just the two of them. There's a crazy amount of boos, having already been seen earlier tonight when they chose the victor of the opening match. They're grinning ear to ear despite being cost the belts two weeks ago. FAITHE makes her way down next, the crowd firmly on her side but of course give a mixed reaction to her partner for the night. Faithe, herself, looks skeptical of Jvstice but she needs to trust him for tonight. From the beginning it's easy to see who is the real team and who is not. The Salavea twins commit to fast tags and trying to keep Jvstice in the ring as long as they can to start. Jacob is in first, then Rodney, then Jacob, then back to Rodney. FAITHE reaches over the ropes, with Hardy almost reaching her but is pulled back. Rodney grabs Hardy from behind into a german suplex that once again puts him closer to their corner. Rodney tags in his brother again, the two setting up for a double suplex, but Jvstice throws his weight back and drives them down with a double DDT to both twins! The crowd can't help but cheer for the move, and continue cheering as Jvstice crawls towards his corner, leaping for the tag to FAITHE. She rockets in, landing on Rodney with a Thesz press followed by multiple right hands! She gets to her feet and eats a facebuster from the legal man, Jacob. The Salavea twin scoops her up into a fisherman suplex, bridging it up in the end but FAITHE is able to kick out. Upon getting to her feet she looks for the tag...but Jvstice is looking at the crowd? Hardy has his back turned to the mat, waving at someone in the crowd as if he knows them! Instead, Jacob gets a tag to Rodney, who runs into with a leaping knee drop! He pushes his knee into FAITHE's neck, and doesn't let go until the referee begins to count on him towards DQ. He holds his hands up and backs away from her, showing the referee that he wasn't going to continue. He inches forward, grabbing FAITHE into a headlock and working on her neck just as before. As she begins to slip out, he spins around and drops her into a hangmans neckbreaker. FAITHE holds the back of her neck in pain. Rodney tries to follow it up with a DDT, but FAITHE gives him a few shots to the gut before a jawbreaker. She goes for the pin again, but this time Jvstice is tying his shoe?? FAITHE arches her brow and looks at Jvstice like he's crazy, but of course he isn't looking back at her. A moment later, she falls victim to Hit A Muthafucka (Burning Hammer/Diving Knee Drop Combo)! As the referee begins to count, Jvstice does pop in to make the save but he's given a quick superkick from Jacob which gives the Salaveas the win! WINNERS Salavea Twins FINISHING MOVE Hit A Muthafucka (Burning Hammer/Diving Knee Drop Combo) |
Match Six Bianca Page (w/ Veronica Taylor) vs Lillith (w/ Kaya Parker) Of course, the Deathriders always bring a mixed reaction to the House crowd because you never know what side the sisters are going to be on. Of course, the arrival of Bianca Page and Veronica Taylor made the crowd choose real quick who they hate more, and it was an easy choice. Despite Bash losing a good portion of his power at Homecoming, Bianca and Veronica have managed to get away scot-free based on Bash's deal with The Division. They all take their spots before the bell rings. Tonight it's Bianca's turn to showcase her talents, gaining an early control in this match with a bicycle kick that catches Lilith off guard. The Parker sister rolls to her feet, clutching her jaw, but tries to rush Bianca only to be scooped up into a sitout spinebuster! Page takes the time for a quick pin attempt on Lilith, though she shoots her shoulder up. Bianca responds by stomping on Lilith, until Parker catches her boot. She shoves Bianca's boot away, jumping to her feet with enough time to grab Page into a jawbreaker. Lilith jumps to her feet, rushing towards Bianca but Page sees it coming and takes her down with a big boot! Kaya, wanting to protect her sister of course, jumps up on the apron and begins to yell at the referee. She's not trying to distract the referee, but is legitimately angry at how he's officiating. The ref arches his eyebrow and looks on. That's when Veronica yanks her down from the apron, causing Kaya to come face first with the apron. Kaya turns around and walks right into a spinning heel kick from Veronica, that also sees Kaya fly back into the apron and smash her back into it. Kaya finds herself lying on the ground, Veronica tip-toing away with a shrug. Inside the ring, Lilith is able to capitalize by picking Bianca up into a backdrop. She keeps hold of her, yanking her back to her feet and driving her back down with a second backdrop. Still on the mat, Parker twists Bianca's arm, giving it a swift kick and trying to cause her as much damage as possible. Lilith uses the same arm to yank Bianca back up to her feet before twisting her into a pumphandle drop! She tries for a pin but Bianca is able to kick out at the two! Lilith leaps into a double stomp move but Bianca is able to roll out of the way! Lilith ends up rolling forward and back up to her feet, but immediately eats a kick to the midsection from Page. She raises Lilith up and hits her with a tiger suplex! Page leaps up and waits for Lilith to get to her feet. Once she does, Bianca jumps and catches Lilith with Lavish Lifestyle (Blockbuster)! The crowd aren't very happy as Bianca is able to hook Parker's leg for the three count before Kaya is able to make the save. Veronica assists Bianca in checking herself in the handheld mirror before she allows the ref to raise her hand! WINNER Bianca Page FINISHING MOVE Lavish Lifestyle (Blockbuster) |
Match Seven Tag Team Rules Faizah Marshall & Tomoko Ota vs The Runaways The Runaways are the first to make their way down to the ring, albeit to a huge amount of boos. They don't seem to care though and have stated they are only focused on getting the Pure Championship. Up next is the Pure Champion herself, always so graceful and determined. The crowd continue their cheers as Faizah Marshall makes her way down to the ring. The pair look skeptical but they've promised to co-exist together tonight against The Runaways. Faizah starts it off for her team against Dani, and they two tie up. They shift all around, trying to gain control over one another via submission hold. Seeing as there's such a focus on the Pure division, we'd expect nothing less. Marshall catches Dani off guard with a springboard meteora out of nowhere! She's able to get Shadow into an octopus stretch, but it's far too early for any sort of tap out and Dani is able to yank Faizah up and over with an arm drag. She quick tags Charli in, but rushes over to Faizah with a lariat. Marshall ducks it, catching her up and giving Dani a leaping knee to her face. However, Faizah doesn't realize that Charli Manning has been tagged in and Marshall is grabbed from behind and nailed with a straightjacket german suplex! Charli bridges up for the pin attempt but Faizah kicks out. Faizah goes for the tag but is yanked back by Charli, who whips her into a neutral corner! Charli gives her a huge chop in the corner, and then goes for the boot choke. The referee begins to count on the DQ so Charli backs off. She steps back and rushes forward for a corner face wash but Faizah moves out of the way! Charli ends up with her leg slung over the top rope, giving Faizah enough time to make it to her corner with a tag! Tomoko comes in fast, giving right hands to Charli as quick as she can. She then plants Manning with a swinging fisherman neckbreaker that has the crowd on their feet! She tries for a pin but Charli kicks out. Tomoko drags Charli up to her feet, but Manning swats her away and follows it up with a forearm. She manages to lift Ota onto her shoulders and then slam her down into a firemans carry! Of course immediately after she jogs over to her corner and tags Dani back in, winded. Shadows comes back in, stomping on Ota who has to work her way back up to her feet. Dani goes for a right hand but Tomoko catches it, twisting her arm up before nailing her with a dragon suplex! Ota takes the same arm, going for an arm bar but Dani is able to roll out and take her arm back. However she looks almost offended by this attempt and rushes towards Ota, spearing her into the corner. Ota falls to the mat, where Dani locks in Bruise Violet (Arched Crossface)! They are right next to the ropes though, and Ota reaches out for the rope break. The referee tells Dani to let go, but she's not doing it. She continues reeling back on the crossface! The referee persists, eventually trying to pry Dani off before motioning for the bell. The bell rings, but Dani still isn't stopping, with Ota yelling out in pain! Charli enters the ring, crouching low and taunting Ota from above. Luckily, although Faizah holds no comradery with Ota, Marshall rushes in and lands a dropkick to Charli's back. Manning falls forward and through the second rope, crashing to the outside. Startled, Dani lets go of Tomoko, and eats a brainbuster from Faizah! Charli yanks Dani out of the ring from under the bottom rope as Faizah checks on Tomoko, successfully making the save. WINNER Faizah Marshall & Tomoko Ota FINISHING MOVE Disqualification |
Match Eight Nontitled Special Referees: Jewel Chayse & Bea Carter Myra Rivers(c) vs Siren w/ Caliban We get four entrances for this one, with the crowd only getting behind the Civil Champion. Myra is more than a bit skeptical, knowing she is being surrounded by vultures that all would want a piece of the pie. She walks down with her head high though, while Siren looks hopeful in making a statement. On the other hand, the referees are both a hoot in their own way. Bea looks rather uncomfortable in a referee shirt, not at all enjoying being on the opposite side. Jewel is getting a kick out of it, soaking everything in and really playing up her position for laughs. In the beginning we see a rather competitive match. Siren is really trying to get one over on the champion, but Myra has the experience over her. The Civil Champion never fails to prove she belongs at the top of the pack. Siren is able to get in a few good licks, like a perfectly placed missile dropkick from the top rope that gets her a near two count. Siren also lifts Myra up and over to the apron in a reversal. She then leaps to the second rope, and then springboards into a hurricanrana that sends Rivers to the outside! This is when we get our first referee despite, with Bea starting to count. But Chayse stops her, correcting the cadence at which she counts and says she's counting too fast. Carter looks perplexed but obliges. Myra also finds herself in a surprising ankle lock, but she swiftly reaches for the bottom rope and gets the rope break...at least, she should've. Bea begins counting on the rope break when Siren doesn't let go, but Jewel wags her finger vigorously. She yells that Bea isn't very good at this whole referee thing...while Myra remains locked in the ankle lock. Myra is forced to kick Siren away herself as Bea and Jewel begin to argue. It's made worse when Myra takes Siren down a running bulldog. Siren springs up, but is smacked in the face with a Vixen Kick (Chick Kick) from Rivers! Myra goes for a cover and Bea drops for the count. She counts the one, the two... And once again, Jewel begins to criticize the way that Carter is refing. Although if anyone knew Jewel they would probably assume she was being a troll and attempting to get under Bea's skin. It looked like it was working on Myra for sure, frustration boiling in her eyes but she kept her grace about her. Myra let go of the pin as Jewel and Bea continued arguing. The turn back to the match at hand as Myra and Siren continue. Rivers grabs Siren in for the Spirit Breaker (Corkscrew Neckbreaker) signaling for it! But suddenly, Bea is attacked from behind with a chair! Jewel then plants Carter on the chair with the Crown Jewel (Modified Double Underhook Facebuster)! Despite what's happened throughout the match, Myra is still shocked at the sudden escalation. Chayse blows a kiss to Myra, slides out of the ring and then backs up the ramp, chuckling and motioning for the Civil Championship the entire time. As the events occurred, Myra had transitioned to a headlock on Siren and there she sat in confusion. Luckily, a moment later a new referee runs down to the ring. Rivers nails the Spirt Breaker and gets the three count. She walks passed Bea as she begins to stir, apprehensive about helping her. But she probably remembers the choice words during their recent battles, and she continues walking passed. WINNER Myra Rivers FINISHING MOVE Spirit Breaker (Corkscrew Neckbreaker) |
Match Nine Jack Graves w/ Olly vs Davina King Davina King walks down to one of the loudest cheers we've heard all night, and she waves to everyone, always the humble one. She's upheld her promise to fight for the betterment of HoW and she did so by defeating Bash and his team at Homecoming. Now that somehow extends to The Division and the threat they exhibit to House of Wrestling. Olly enters with Jack Graves, the GEW Championship being held firmly by his side. Graves headlined HoW's biggest event of the year, Metaverse, and remains one of The Division's deadliest. He and Davina have a bit of history, and we can see as much as audience members. We often see King relying on her strength and while she can still lift Jack, it's much more difficult than lifting someone like Bash Blackstone or Veronica Taylor. Plus, being a power player himself, Jack knows how to work this style. After a couple reversals and failings, Davina switches to her boxing background and cracks Jack in the face with an uppercut that rocks him for a second. He steps back and chuckles, as Davina puts up her fists and begins bobbing about. He goes for a right hand of his own but he weaves it, cracking him with a second uppercut! He sees the third coming though, scooping her up into a teardrop suplex and planting her down to the canvas. He has her locked into a standing sleeper, with King slowly losing consciousness. She begins landing hard elbows to Jack's gut, working herself out until Jack has to whip her across the ring. She bounds back into a big boot from Graves! He scoops her up off the mat, showing his own strength in a possible display of pride. He slams her back down with a gutwrench powerbomb that looks devastating! Graves hooks her leg, but the crowd gets loud when she shoots her shoulder in the air! The continue battling, Jack lifting her into a torture rack. Davina is able to lodge one of her feet under the top rope and yank herself down. She lands on her feet, first landing a stiff hatchet elbow to his skull! Jack stumbles back into the ropes and bounds off, only to rush right into Slap A Ho (Spinning Backfist)! He's seeing stars now as Jack falls to the mat. Davina grabs his arm, yanking him up onto his feet before she locks shoulders with him. She uses all her strength to lift him up into a suplex position, and then uses the ropes to bounce his legs off and into a rope-aided falcon arrow that has the crowd on their feet! She hooks Jack's leg but Graves is able to kick out! It isn't until the end of the match when Olly really makes his presence known. Davina has her back turned and Olly jumps up to the apron. He touch her, but does indeed taunt her. She only gives him a second before turning back around. But a second is all Jack Graves needs, and she walks right into The Hangman's Call (Chokeslam Backbreaker)! The boos ring out loud as Jack turns her over and gets the three count! Olly enters and hands Jack the GEW title, raising his hand as well. The Division capture a win in their first match of the night. WINNER Jack Graves FINISHING MOVE The Hangman's Call (Chokeslam Backbreaker) |
Match Ten 6person Tag Rules The Red Plague vs Madison Lewis, Ryl of Scardale & Noah Ortega The former Violent Champion is the first one out, the House of Wrestling crowd giving her a warm welcome as always. Ryl of Scardale joins her, and the two look to be getting along well enough. Of course, they aren't the best of friends but they know what has to be done. The wildcard here is Noah Ortega, who joins them in spite of himself. This only leaves are opposing three, The Red Plague walking down to the ring with Emma holding the Violent Championship in the middle. KERBEROS and Ortega start out the match, a new aggressive fire seems to be lit inside The Hound. It catches Noah off guard, and he eats a shoulder block. He grabs Noah by placing his palm over his face and squeezing, yanking him up and throwing him into a full nelson. Noah thrashes about every which way until he's slipping from KERBEROS' grasp. The Hound goes to plant him with a full nelson slam, but Noah spins into a tilt-a-whirl DDT that helps him escape. The Leader of The Lost jumps to his corner and tags in Ryl of Scardale, whom is more than willing to join the waging battle. Ryl meets KERBEROS with a forearm, backing him up into the ropes and then landing a knee to his midsection. Ryl whips him across the ring, but rushes towards the opposite side herself. The bound back towards each other when something goes wrong, KERBEROS catches her instead, spinning her into a belly-to-belly. When he gets to his feet, he backs into his corner and tags in the Mistress of Mayhem and Ryl is up immediately after. Emma misjudges Ryl, rushing towards her with a lariat but Ryl catches her with an armdrag takedown. She then leaps into a legdrop that comes right across Emma's arm. Ryl of Scardale walks over and tags in Madz, the supposed ragtag group doing decently well as the match continues. Madison rushes in just as Douglas is on her feet again, and runs right into a big boot! Madz rolls through though and kips up, Emma grabbing her into a suplex. However, Madz spins out and comes down on Emma with an impressive reverse DDT. Douglas slides into the seated position in a neutral corner, but Madz answers by rushing at her with two double knees to the chest! The former Violent Champion is on a roll! She hops up to the second rope, awaiting Emma's rise. Lewis leaps off into a crossbody, but Emma catches her! Douglas plants her forward with a heavy front slam! The Mistress of Mayhem then tags in Archer. As Archer is entering into the ring, Madz also goes to make a tag of her own. She reaches out for Ortega, who takes his hand back! He doesn't want to be tagged in! Madz looks at him with an arched brow, and Noah actually hops from the apron in protest against Madison! He really doesn't want to be on her team! Ryl takes one for the team and takes the tag! Her and Archer throw hands at one another, battling into a neutral corner. Archer yanks her out into a ripcord move but Ryl sweeps his leg, then sliding into Seducing The Dragon (Gannosuke Clutch Pin)! The referee drops to make the count, and KERBEROS comes in and nails Ryl with a light tube! Glass is shattered everywhere, and the bell is rung for the disqualification. Naturally Madz rushes forward in an attempt to help, but Emma flattens her to the mat as well with a Samoan drop onto the glass shards! The Red Plague hold the Violent Championship in the air for a few seconds, until Dylan Shepherd hits the ramp! The trio slide out as Dylan slides in to check on Madz, with Ryl helping herself up in the corner. WINNER Madison Lewis, Ryl of Scardale & Noah Ortega FINISHING MOVE Disqualification |
Headliner Violent Rules Alex Andrews vs Wade Manson (w/ RAZE) The duo known as the Murder City Saints make their way down to the ring to the usual amount of boos. They have been members of The Division for over a year now, and have been in both Millennium and Liberty. The crowd are on their feet as former Grand Champion, Alex Andrews, walks out onto the ramp. She's found herself embroiled into this war, but has also never been one to back down when the going gets tough. There's foreign objects littering ringside as Wade and Alex begin to circle one another. RAZE immediately grabs at her heels from ringside. The crowd boos, but RAZE backs away chuckling, raising his arms in the air. The two go at it inside the ring for a bit, but the moment he has a chance, Manson dumps Andrews to the outside. He grabs hold of her, landing an exploder suplex into the nearby barricade. RAZE crouches down and taunts Alex with some words that aren't picked up by the camera. He steps back and lets Wade continue. Manson has grabbed a black baseball bat and waited for Andrews to get to her feet. Manson lunges forward, but Alex rolls out of the way, causing Wade to smack the bat into the barricade. It causes vibrations up into his hands and he drops the bat! Andrews kicks him in the midsection, applies a hammerlock first before driving him into the floor with a hammerlock STO! She looks under the ring, grabbing the first thing she sees. Wade comes from behind, trying to grab at her but Alex spins around and sprays him in the face with a fire extinguisher! She then blasts him in the forehead with it! Alex brings herself up to the apron, jumping into a knee drop that Manson is able to roll out of the way of! Instead, Alex's knee connects with the floor and she clutches it, hurt. Wade himself has a bit of a knot on his forehead, clutching above his right eye. Manson rushes forward with a slingblade that puts Andrews down. Once again, RAZE is getting a bit too close to the two. Despite it technically being no disqualification, they've made it known that Manson is supposed to be doing this on his own. Wade yanks Alex up to her feet, giving her a hard chop that backs her up to the commentary table. Andrews counters with an elbow to the side of Wade's head, then sending him into the barricade with a Russian legsweep. She slides back into the ring to catch her breath just after, for which RAZE teases her. The Anomaly is on the apron, goading her over. In truth, he's distracting her as Wade sneaks up behind. But she's not about to fall for that. Manson lunges for her, but Alex leaps into a dropsault that plants right to the chest of RAZE. The Anomaly is sent crashing to the ground below, and Andrews effectively backflips over Manson as he's rushing forward! Landing behind him, she grabs him and nails Hella Rough (Killswith)! The crowd erupts when Lady Limitless gets the three count! RAZE is fuming, but there's no time for revenge as Alex makes her way through the crowd. WINNER Alex Andrews FINISHING MOVE Hella Rough (Killswitch) |
MAIN EVENT Grand Champion Jessi Ozborne on Commentary McKena Hardy vs Andrew Raynes Our Grand Champion, Jessi Ozborne, makes her way down first and sits next to our commentary team. She hits it off with Ellie but her and Dom are very quippy towards each other. The number one contender is the first competitor in, surprisingly with no members of The Division behind her. She makes eye contact with Jessi, and leans against the ropes. Ozborne stands up, holding her title further up onto her shoulder until Raynes heads down the ramp. He’s been battling The Division in multiple companies now and knows exactly how they operate. We start the match with McKena using her speed and striking ability to her advantage, but Raynes is proving to be a resilient individual. She had caught him in the side of the head with an elbow, going for a sliced bread move! Andrew is able to move out of the way though, and luckily for McKena, she is able to land on her feet. However, Raynes had bounded off the ropes, to come back into the Code of the Sith (Running Single Leg High Knee). Hardy hits the canvas and Andrew instantly goes for the cover, with McKena kicking out at two. Raynes retains control for a bit, using his powerful strikes to keep Hardy at bey. Raynes locks shoulders with Hardy, taking her up and over with a snap suplex. Raynes goes to float over for another pin attempt but McKena pushes herself under and out. She pushes herself up, and then swings her leg back to connect with Jaded (Buzzsaw Kick)! There's a huge smack as her foot hits Andrew's temple. His eyes roll back for just a moment and he falls forward, leading to Hardy hooking his leg but to no avail. McKena whips Andrew into the corner, giving him a dropkick in the corner. She chokes him with her foot for a moment, when Raynes begins to walk out of the corner. Locking eyes with Ozborne, McKena pushes Andrew's forehead into the top rope, grinding his face into the ropes! She stares right into Jessi's eyes as she does so. Andrew holds his forehead, backing up into the middle of the ring. McKena walks towards him with a smirk, but she's caught off guard a moment later by a leaping tornado DDT. Once on the mat, Raynes transitions into Caught in the Rain (Tazmission)! Hardy flails every which way in an attempt to break the choke, but she's losing air fast. She is slowly able to move herself upward so that she is lying on top of Andrew, albeit she's still being choked. McKena is just about to blackout, when she hoists herself even further upon Raynes. With Andrew's shoulders on the mat and McKena across him, the referee drops to the canvas. The realization hits Raynes, he releases McKena and he pushes her off, but it's too late and he's counted the three! McKena clutches her neck with the referee holding her hand in the air. She has a smirk across her face as her attention turns back to Jessi again. At that same time, Olly has made his way through the crowd, taunting Raynes. However, Andrew doesn't need much taunting and has been looking to get his hands on Olly. Raynes and Olly take off running through the crowd. Jessi stands up at commentary, holding the Grand Championship up on her shoulder once again. McKena just chuckles, knowing she continues to show how far she's willing to go, and she's almost there. Jessi stares back at her, fearless. WINNER McKena Hardy FINISHING MOVE Clever Pin |
