LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena
“Classy” Bianca Page walks into Bash Blackstone’s office where she sees Bash sitting behind his desk and Veronica Taylor is sitting in a chair on the other side of the desk. Bianca takes a seat on the couch in the office.
“Classy” Bianca Page:I am so glad to be here. I have been so busy the last few days but that is what happens when you are in demand like we are. Right? But I am also so ready to be done with Jenson and earn a title shot for us.
Veronica smiled brightly, crossing one leg over the other as she stated.
Veronica Taylor: Exactly, Jenson will be dealt with, and it's about time too. Him costing us… I mean Bash, his power was ridiculous. I mean this show has fallen on hard times since Bash lost control but now we get a chance for some more payback, and then those tag team titles are as good as ours.
“Classy” Bianca Page:I have been here since day one. I have seen a lot of people come and go. It is people like Jenson who are truly utterly disgusting. Jenson paraded around pretending to be a friend to you, Bash, and then what does he do? He turns his back on not only Vero and I but on this man…
Bianca nods towards Bash.
“Classy” Bianca Page:A great visionary who created this great company. It doesn’t seem too smart of Jenson to turn his back on us and that obviously speaks more about him than any of us. But it is that lack of vision on the part of people like Jenson that is their continued downfall and why people like the three of us continue to ascend to the pinnacle of not only HOW, the wrestling business but life as a whole. Which is why we will not only finally rid House of Wrestling of Jenson but move on and claim the World Tag Team Championships as our own.
Bash nods in agreement.
Bash Blackstone: You two have been the peak of both tag team and singles competition ever since I signed you here in the House of Wrestling. Those Tag belts should’ve been yours a long time ago, and once this is all said and done, mark my words those belts WILL be yours. You deserve all eyes on you, and only you. My best girls. Jenson didn’t know what he had, couldn’t realize that we were the only reasons he was sitting so high up. I helped him get that title shot, and Veronica helped him countless times. After tonight, I don’t ever want to hear the name Jenson Idol mentioned in the same sentence as our names ever again!
All three nod to one another.
Bash Blackstone: Let’s go out there, and prove these fools wrong!
The scene opens up on a wide shot of a t-shirt. Not just any t-shirt, one that has the logo for MidWest Championship Wrestling on it! The company has been mentioned a few times on HoW television, seeing as how they are part of the Agora Network. Not to mention, they share a couple stars with House of Wrestling including the Grand Champion. The shot begins to widen, showing both Atticus Hayes Jr. and Chase Romano backstage.
Atticus Hayes Jr: You got this Chase, you've been waiting for this moment to get him back!
Chase Romano: It's been a whirlwind ever since I entered the wrestling industry. I walked in with Wade, he was my mentor and my partner. Once upon a time I think I did love him, but things have changed so much. When we met he wasn't running around with The Division. Who knows, maybe he was always like that, I was just too dumb to see the red flags.
Atticus playfully shakes her via her shoulders.
Atticus Hayes Jr: Hey now! None of that! We will not have any feeling sorry for yourself!
Her frown turned into that of a smile, suddenly realizes where she is and what she's doing.
Chase Romano: You're right! I shouldn't feel sorry for myself! I broke out of that abuse, and I won the Extreme Championship. The only way Wade is even able to take it from me is because the rest of The Division got involved. If it were a one-on-one, things may have been a different story. Then to ensure I wouldn't come back and challenge for it right away by injuring me?! I was out for months with a broken arm, all because they wanted to add more gold to their waists. That strap doesn't make you powerful, Wade. In fact, it reminds me of how powerful you AREN'T.
Atticus hypes her up from behind, dapping up her shoulders and moving about.
Atticus Hayes Jr: That's right Manson, she's got your number. You contributed to your own downfall...
Chase Romano: Atticus and I are done standing by and watching as The Division runs rampant through the Agora Network. I knew I had to bring myself to the House of Wrestling to confront them myself. Atticus has been my rock ever since, a true friend. He knows my struggles, and understands everything I've lost to get to this point. See, Wade, I have friends too! And I'm betting the more I tell my story, the more friends I'll make. We WILL end you, we will end The Division.
The duo give the camera a high-five before walking off out of sight down the hall.
There was a thunderous roar before a plethora of black and dark grey clouds filled the screen waves. Impacting the eyes in a pulsating motion as the sound boosted its echo. Though the visage of the scene was clearly generated like that from any television series or movie, it was clearly a well decorated design as the camera aimed to a city street and then even closer to one particular building, the generated storm brewing faster in the distance as we drew closer to see the figure perched on the side of a stoop, just off the roof top, before a boisterous smirk crept upon the young man’s face.
It was none other than Jvstice Hardy, who fit every bit of the intrinsic vigilante get up that he’d come to be known for. His shirt reading the exact words he’d spoken earlier in the week of being “Peak, Prime, Fvture Legend” the three words beings separated in block letters on the cut off tee, his jacket and dark jeans all combining to create what one might picture of the green arrow only his get-up was just a little bit darker as he smile.
Jvstice Hardy: “What’s Up House?”
He spoke though his voice as dark and there was hardly any animation to his tone, instead you could draw your attention closer to his eyes due to a black like that was painted from ear to ear straight across the path of his eyes.
Jvstice Hardy: “A lot of shit has unfolded these past few weeks. A lot of things have unraveled and I have to be honest, its had me confused for a while. Which side should I lean to, which side should I choose, because despite claiming that I wanted to keep my neutral claim people felt they could force me in one direction or the other. My match against Faizah, My multiple times colluding with Faithe, and even my own family tried to force me to pick a side . . . make a choice JV, because there’s clearly being independent of every one else’s thoughts and philosophy’s isn’t allowed when it comes to war.”
He laughed at that.
Jvstice Hardy: “Funny that people think they can tell the only legitimate veteran in this conversation what constitutes as War, Like its not something I’ve understood, something I’ve studied, and even participated in. People think they can dictate what is an army, that they can control the actions of groups or parties that constitute to political movement within a company such as this. They think they know a lot of things because they’ve heard some witty tag lines and brought about some unique psychedelic strategies in their unique approach to this game. They’re warriors because someone filled their heads with the ideology that just because they fight, they’re soldiers.”
He chuckled again.
Jvstice Hardy: “But none of the people I’ve mentioned are virtuous, they roamed about staking claims of one person or the other doing them wrong, of settling scores with former enemies because they’ve found a common threat, and yet here I am in the midst of all this, merely someone who hasn’t been touched by the altercations. I was spared because I chose to be the metaphorical version of Switzerland In this conflict, but its not for the reasons you think.”
He smirked then breaking that deadpan stare that had been formed aside from the laugh and chuckle he’d emanated earlier. His overall demeanor was still serious however.
Jvstice Hardy: “And quite honestly, I don’t feel like vindicating myself to any of you, about what those reasons may be. Family, loyalty, respect. Call it whatever the fuck you want at this point because its not like you’re going to hear any sort of reasoning and your boy is tired of trying to seen Vindication because despite showed Justice with a “v” I don’t emanate every adjective in the arsenal. So at this point think whatever the fuck you want to think about me, and your boy Is going to carry on with a smile, because love me or hate me, I am a commodity in this business by my namesake alone, whatever else I add from here is only bonus points, boiiii!”
As he straddle forward he rest right along the edge of the buildings ledge now, as the storm in the background seem to grow closer.
Jvstice Hardy: “Which brings me to Old Man Night. El Savior, Nightfall Fights Connoisseur and former House Champion. Dudes got a lot of accolades and has probably known me since I was a kid in diapers. So to say this match is something special for me would be putting it lightly. I know his recent experiences in the company have been the greatest and well what can we say? We know how all that shit goes, but in that same token. Good Guy Night, the patriarch of the Nightfall Community, has had a way of fooling people for a very long time. Not that I plan on elaborating on that or anything, but lets just say. I’m not so easily swayed by good guy facades anymore. The reason I respect people who others might view as dirtbags of the community is because at the end of the day, no one is as honest as a motherfucker who shows their true authenticity whether it is filled with toxicity or not.”
With one final glance into the camera he smiled.
Jvstice Hardy: “So old man, I’m not sure what is it that I’ve got for you that might make a difference in the string of bad luck you’ve had. I’m not sure what much I could say that is going to bring any more hype to the show that is going to be performed, but I can tell you that from this moment on, this people who fill up the house every single week are going to learn one damn thing about me. I’m as good as they come.”
With that he leapt from the ledge just as the rain began to fall and hit the camera lens and the screen ultimately fades to black.
"Did you see what they just did?! Where the hell were you??"
Wade Manson comes bursting through the curtain, barreling through the backstage area in search for his brothers in arms. The first one he runs into is RAZE, who is watching the monitor but doesn't look to be much help. He shrugs slightly.
RAZE: I was here...we all said we weren't going to go out to ringside with each other. Where else would I be?
Manson screams into the void, knowing that to be the truth but still being rather frustrated by it. Not to mention the real issue, he'd just had his championship stolen.
Wade Manson: You should've been watching the backstage area, or you should've come out the moment the match was over the way that little brat did! Where the hell did he come from anyway and who the hell is he?! We just have enemies lying and waiting for us and springing up out of nowhere now? Where's our intell on this kind of bullshit?!
RAZE: I mean we have pissed off a lot of people...
The Anomaly scratches his chin, thinking of all the people he's injured alone, and the number ronly goes higher with The Division. Wade brings his hands up to his head, even more frustrated than before.
Wade Manson: This is ridiculous. We need to find out where the hell they went!
At this exact moment, Jvstice Hardy is walking backstage, heading for his match with Chris Night shortly. Wade seems him, and grabs him by the shoulders in his frustration.
Wade Manson: Look kid, take these...
Having just come from a Violent Rules match, Manson reaches into his pocket and pulls out a pair of brass knuckles. It's clear that Manson is all for making a few more injuries. Wade taps him on the shoulder, before ushering him along. The camera leaves the Murder City Saints as they venture off to find his stolen belt. We fade out on Jvstice Hardy walking down the hall, looking at the brass knuckles with thoughts running a mile a minute.
Standing outside the Queens of Chaos locker room is Yahamamoto. He is standing next to Faizah Marshall.
Yahamamoto:
“Big night for you, Faizah.”
Faizah looks at Yahamamoto with a raised eyebrow, clearly offended by his statement.
Faizah Marshall:
“Is it?”
Yahamamoto:
“You have a chance to become the interim–”
Faizah holds up her hand, cutting him off.
Faizah Marshall:
“Don’t finish that sentence, I don’t want to hear it. Tomoko was allowed to compete last night. Unsanctioned, I know. Dani Shadow is dangerous, who knows what condition Oto was left in. Not allowed to defend the Pure Championship but was allowed to compete under conditions that could have left her in the hospital for weeks? I should be facing Oto TONIGHT. Not Charli over the right to possibly face Oto in the future. The only reason I want to beat Oto for the Pure Championship is to get my redemption for her humiliating me at Red Moon Rising!”
Yahamamoto:
“Some fans have said holding on to that resentment is unhealthy. Do you agree?”
Faizah scoffs.
Faizah Marshall:
“Those people don’t know what they are talking about. We signed with HoW a month apart. Our first major conflict was against one another. Since Red Moon Rising, Oto went on to become a champion. I had one shot at Madz. Couldn’t get the job done. Seven months in HoW without a championship… doesn’t set right with me. I can’t allow Oto to break ahead. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt I am better than she is. All I need is one more shot to redeem the failure of Red Moon Rising.”
“I need to be the one to end her reign. Not Charli Manning. It’s cute The Runaways believe they run the Pure Division. What they don’t understand is that as long as Oto is the champion, she belongs to me. I will do what’s necessary to secure my future championship opportunity. I plan to win. I will not call myself an interim champion, I want the actual Pure Championship. Not the one management feels needs to exist so they can feel good about having championships defended. All the interim championship for me is my ticket to face Oto in the future. And then will I consider that moment a big night. Beating Manning is one small step to the end goal. Redemption.”
Faizah Marshall doesn’t give Yahamamoto a chance to ask another question. She storms off clearly ready for the war ahead. Scene fades.
The scene opens up in what looks to be Alex Andrew'locker room. She's taping her wrists up. One thing we notice is she doesn't seem to be wearing her normal tights. She's wearing a pair of black denim jeans and a 'Lady Limitless' tee shirt with the sleeves cut off, highlighting her the muscle tone in her arms. The gaze on her face says everything. She looks ready to go to war. Where glances up at the camera, only a slight smile slides across her lips.
Alex Andrews: House of Wrestling HouseWARming 2. Do y'all remember what happened one year ago then? I do. Something I won't soon forget. Winning my first World Totle, winning the Grand Championship, and besting a weasel in order to do it made it so much sweeter.
She tears off another strip of tape and applies it to her hand, wrapping it around her palm and flexes her hand, seeing if it feels comfortable or not.
Alex Andrews: And I had a pretty good run. Even if I had Bash try and stack the deck against me for his preferred elite, I still managed to rise and excel , much to his chagrin. He put me in against hungry up and comers and wily veterans alike. It took the awesome momentum that Jessi has going to tear that title from my hand.
Alex sighs a little to herself and looks up at the camera directly.
Alex Andrews: I say that to say this, I take a whole bunch of pride in my work and what I did during my time as champion in House Of Wrestling. The place as a whole means a lot to me despite what Bash does with the place. When I say HOW is the house that I built, I mean it. So..The Division coming in, causing chaos and destruction through its constant numbers games, through their constant shenanigans. Yeah, it irritates me. It gets under my skin. So, that is why I fight. That is why I have taken this stand against The Division. Because someone has to. Because I will not let them roughshod through the entire company.
She bites her lip.
Alex Andrews: I don't know what kicking the tar out of RAZE will do for the company as a whole, but I know it'll feel great doing it. I'm sure cutting off the head of one snake won't make The Division crumble, but I have to take a stand somewhere. To prove they won't be getting their way without resistance. You wanted to know what I made of, RAZE? I guarantee you it's of hardier stuff than you. I don't need to rely on cheap tricks and overwhelming numbers to win. I've got more heart and determination than you ever will. So no matter what crap you pull, I. Will. Rise.
A smile creeps up on Alex's face as she finishes wrapping her wrist and hand.
Alex Andrews: And don't you worry, I have a surprise or two up my sleeve as well.
She nods to herself and stands up, punching her fist into her other hand, noddng, feeling alright as she goes to turn and walk out the door. Fade.
Clap clap clap...clap clap clap...clap clap clap.
The Anomaly, RAZE: "I hope you're watching this, Alex. I hope you've been tucked away in your locker room tonight, watching your monitor and seeing what happens what people mess with The Division. Chris Night got himself a one way ticket to a hospital bed for who knows how long and to be honest, I have a feeling you're next! Having to deal with you over in MWE is one thing, but coming here was something else completely. You've got it in your head that you need to come to the aid of this place. What has the House of Wrestling ever done for you? Correct me if I'm wrong but the COO of this very company was the one that signed us to our Agora contracts? Olly may have sounded the call, but Bash sealed the deal. Is that who you're looking to protect?"
He pauses simply to sneer.
The Anomaly, RAZE: "Or is is these fans? These people that think they know what they want. HA! You know better than most how fickle these people can be. They cheered you as their Grand Champion for so long...and now who do they cheer as their champion? How does that make you feel, Alex? Because it can't be good. Sooner or later you'll realize that you're killing yourself for no reason. Hopefully you wake up before then."
Blackout, just before "Becoming the Bull" by Atreyu begins to play.
The scene takes place backstage in the MGM Grand. Davina King is walking about by herself. She's looking at the photos along the wall, different decorations that have changed throughout the last year. She takes one of her braids in her right hands, twirling it as she speaks.
DAVINA KING: "When I first left boxing, I didn't know what the world had in store for me. There ain't no lyin', I had always hoped to break into the wrestling scene. But a little girl from Dallas didn't know if Wrestling would take her. GEW and HoW were the places that take a chance on ya girl. That made sure I had a place to call my home, a place I could do my thang. And I flourished. I won the GEW Spotlight Championship, and yo girl became a double champ by winning the HoW Civil Championship. I repped both places proudly and yo girl was on top of the world."
She giggles a little, remembering the peak of the year as far as her success on paper was concerned.
DAVINA KING: "Since then I dealt with Carina Vega, who tried to use my past against me. I outlasted her here and I outlasted her in GEW. Then I went to war for HoW and every competitor, every fan out there. After a tryin' time, and with some help from some good people, ya girl was the one to pin Bash Blackstone at Homecoming. It's been a year that's for sure..."
She drags her hand across her forehead to feign fatigue.
DAVINA KING: "It ain't take a rocket scientist to see why I put my faith into House of Wrestling and the competitors here. They took me in when I needed it most and for that I ain't gonna up and leave just because someone's trynna shove me out. Bash couldnt make it happen and these other foos damn sure ain't gonna make it happen either. I know The Division was running around before and I know that many tried to keep them from comin our way. For that I gotta be sorry, whether or not I had my hands full or not. At the end of the day I was lookin the other way when my home was bein over run by these goons. The whole time I was up against Bash, I told myself that I would never let someone take HoW away from the people and it was happenin' anyway right underneath my nose. I can't help but feel disappointed in that."
A shake of her head from side to side.
DAVINA KING: "But I also know that there ain't no time like the present to make things right. That's what I'm doin here and now. I'm beginning to make things right by fighting back against the tide. By makin' sure that competitors can walk down the halls without bein' attacked before their match. The Division don't belong here unless their gonna play by the rules. Period. Jack, you and I have always clicked. We were both involved with Elevated Creations, both a big part of the relaunch of GEW. So it was a mighty surprise to see you runnin' with these fools. I couldn't believe it. I thought Jack Graves had a brain about him but it looks like I'm gonna have to give him an ass whoopin' to knock some sense into him!"
Davina puts her right fist into her left palm, looking straight at the camera.
DAVINA KING: "Wouldn't it be somethin' if I was the first one to have held two different GEW titles? AND that title change would happen right here in HoW. It all seems very fitting but I know Jack isn't about to let me just have this. I saw his matches with Gavin Grimes, and I seen your defenses since then. I even been trainin' with Chris Night at Nightfall recently because HE beat ya. I'm lookin' to make history here tonight. I know the fans believe in me, and I believe in myself. I'm comin' for ya, Jack. This time we ain't exchangin' no high fives!"
She darts back and forth, dodging left and right, showing off her boxing skills. She nods to the audience and then the scene fades out.
The EMTS come out to check on the pair of them, with Jack quickly shoving them away. Most likely due to pride, but you can still see him placing pressure on his mouth. Davina King sheds a few tears as she's handed the Grand Endurance Championship, and a few fans toss streamers into the ring. She holds it high for the fans to see, just as we cut backstage.
We get a split screen of the Golden Nightmare McKena Hardy and the Grand Champion Jessi Ozborne both walking down the hallway. Their main event IronWoman match is next!
“Classy” Bianca Page:I am so glad to be here. I have been so busy the last few days but that is what happens when you are in demand like we are. Right? But I am also so ready to be done with Jenson and earn a title shot for us.

All three nod to one another.
Bash Blackstone: Let’s go out there, and prove these fools wrong!
Match One VixSin vs Akari Kaneko We're kicking off night two with two competitors that have really made a home here in the House. Las Vegas knows both of them, and knows them well. What makes this match all the more interesting is that these two are usually in separate divisions. VixSin can usually be found in the Violent division, while Akari competes in the Civil division. Still, there's no telling what can happen during a supershow. Both look pumped and ready, knowing a win here will put them in the right direction. VixSin wins the tie up and wraps her arms around her, lifting Akari up onto her shoulders in an electric chair position. Kaneko thinks fast, shifting all her weight back and nailing a poisonedrana that has the crowd on their feet! She bounds off the ropes into a basement STO has VixSin tries to get to her feet, getting an early lead. Kaneko goes for a quick pin but VixSin is able to throw her shoulder up. It's not going to be that easy. Akari tries to maintain her control by applying a headlock as VixSin works her way onto her knees. Unfortunately for Akari, VixSin is continuously able to move herself upward. All the while, she delivers multiple elbows to Kaneko's gut until she's forced to release the headlock. She's not going to let Akari forget though, grabbing Kaneko into the same position that she held her in. Except VixSin grabs around Akari's waist this time, lifting her up around into a modified doomsday saito suplex! She grabs Akari up into a suplex, that she drops into a powerbomb! It impresses the crowd, and VixSin tries for a pin but only gets a two count! She begins to stomp on Akari, aiming for her chest. Kaneko catches VixSin's foot, swinging it in the opposite directin and causing her to drop to one knee. Kaneko leaps up and over into a floating neckbreaker! She grabs VixSin into a front facelock, delivering a couple knees on the canvas and making VixSin work her way up again. It's tougher for VixSin to see, but she still manages to connect with her clubbing fists to Akari's back a few times. With some time, she works her way up, planting Akari with an exploder suplex! Both roll to their feet at the same time. Just then, from out of nowhere "The Titan" Tank Austen, comes barreling through both of them! The giant runs through and takes them both down to the mat with a double lariat! Naturally, the referee calls for the bell as Tank continues the attack. VixSin is the first upon her feet after the lariat. She goes for a spinning heel kick but The Titan moves out of the way. He grabs her, picks her up and nails her with the Blunderbuss (Gallows Pole). She hits the mat and rolls out of the ring. Akari is on her feet immediately after, but she eats a Tomahawk (Package Piledriver) and also rolls from the ring! "The Titan" Tank Austen is left in the ring alone, growling into the crowd as they boo up a storm. The Titan has interjected himself and ruined yet another competitive match. WINNER N/A FINISHING MOVE Double DQ |

The duo give the camera a high-five before walking off out of sight down the hall.
Match Two Violent Rules Chika Aramura vs Siren As per usual Violent Rules, the ring and surrounding area are filled with various items before our next match begins. Our two competitors make their way out to the ring, two mainstays within the Violent division whom have taken very different paths. Chika is given the cheers she deserves, though cussing to the crowd as she walks down the ring. Siren is ever so serious, like usual. The crowd do not find her relatable though, and boo her entire attitude and demeanor. She ignores them, trying to remain focused. To throw Siren off guard, Chika screams loudly, and rushes forward with strikes. Siren goes into defensive mode, attempting to block all that she can. She's eventually able to catch Aramura's leg! Chika leaps up and over though, landing a firm thrust kick to Siren's chest in order to back her up. She lunges forward and smashes her in the forehead with a headbutt! Chika feels some small effects from that as well, but it puts Siren in the corner. Showing her agility, Chika runs to the other side and back with a handspring back elbow. She follows it up with a facebuster out of the corner, that she turns over into a pin attempt. Siren is able to get her shoulder up though. Chika yanks her up, but Siren springs up with a high knee. Surprisingly, it's been pretty tame up until now. That is, of course, until Siren grabs a stop sign and smashes it across Chika's face. She gets up to her knees, to which Siren slams it down onto her back. Siren doesn't stop there, now grabbing a kendo stick. She drives it right into Chika's gut as she gets up. Placing a chair onto Chika's midsection, Siren climbs to the top rope and leaps into The Morningstar (Moonsault)! The House crowd boo as Siren hooks her leg. However, they perk right up as Aramura shoves her shoulder into the air! Siren grabs a nearby chain and wraps it around Chika's neck. Aramura powers out though by yanking on the chain, bringing Siren in for a ripcord lariat. As Siren gets to her feet, Chika jumps at her for a tornado DDT but Siren catches her! Somehow, she throws her for an overhead belly-to-belly! She grabs a nearby table that's been leaning against the opposite corner. Siren quickly kicks the legs out and sets it up with evil intentions. Aramura has gotten to her feet and began to stumble, Siren stalking her from behind. As soon as she steps to the perfect spot, Siren scoops Chika up from behind, and into Tears of Misery (Vertebreaker)! But there is something going on...Chika is able to rock her weight backwards before Siren drops her! Siren misses her chance, and with the momentum, Chika is able to rock back onto her feet! She takes hold of Siren's arm and spins her forward. Now it's Aramura who as control of the spin, and she jumps into Judgement Day (Canadian Destroyer) through the table! The crowd are on their feet as Chika lies across Siren for the three count! WINNER Chika Aramura FINISHING MOVE Judgement Day (Canadian Destroyer) |
Match Three Violent Rules Liberty Pro Extreme Championship Wade Manson(c) vs Chase Romano A short backstory shows on the tron involving Wade Manson and Chase Romano. They enter Liberty Pro hand and hand, but Wade's controlling ways always seem to end up bad for Chase in her matches. They're relationship crumbles when he joins The Division, but she shocks Liberty and Empire by winning the Extreme Championship in a ladder match. Her first defense, Wade. During the match, the rest of The Division come out and injure Chase - apparently that's their MO, with Manson ultimately claiming the Extreme Championship has his own, instead. As The Division have promised, Wade is out here alone tonight. The bell rings and Chase guns it forward, planting him with a dropkick. He bounces off the ropes instead of falling, but she leaps forward with a facebuster! The crowd cheer, Romano showing how much she's been training. She goes for the ropes and comes back with a legdrop, but Manson rolls out of the way, kicking her right in the face as she tries to get up. Manson immediately goes for a black chair in the corner, raising it above her head... but she reaches up and gives him a lowblow, as the House crowd cheer loudly! She brings herself up and into a tilt-a-whirl, applying a black widow type submission. She reels back as hard as she can on Wade, as he falls to one knee. He fights through the pain, pushing himself back up to his feet. He then rocks back, dropping Chase into a modified Samoan drop onto the chair! The crowd boo as he goes for the pin, but Romano gets her shoulder up after the one! Manson sits up, shaking his head in disbelief that he would have this much trouble with someone he trained and knew almost everything about...or so he thought. Chase reaches across the ring, grabbing hold of a 2x4 and smacking Wade in the back of the head with it. She then pushes herself up, followed by Wade who is clutching the back of his head. Chase then drives the 2x4 to his gut. He doubles over and she smashes it across the back of his head! Chase rolls him over and hooks his leg, but Manson somehow gets his shoulder up after the two! This time she kicks out, Wade looks far less amused than before. He leaves the ring momentarily, looking around the outside for something to grab. He finds some razorwire that he carefully grabs between his hands before sliding back into the ring. He walks up behind Chase as she has pushed herself to her knees. Manson leans over her, taking control by first placing her into a headlock. Next, he takes the razorwire and rubs it against her forehead! Trickles of red begin to stream down Chase's face! Wade yells down to her, "You wanted to be EXTREME, babe?!" He chuckles, but Romano isn't about to give up. As Wade is soaking in the moment, she leaps up into a flying heel kick. Wade manages to kip up near the ropes, where Chase plants him in the chest with a rocket kick! Wade falls through the ropes and tumbles to the outside. He pushes himself up just as Romano soars through the air, landing down into a DDT to the outside! She looks around ringside for anything she can use quickly, and spots a brown satchel of items. She opens it up and spills the contents of the bag all over the outside of the ring. Thumbtacks! Wade goes for a tornado kick that Chase is able to duck! She ends up looking at his back, then leaping up onto his shoulders! In one motion, she tips herself back and slams Wade onto the thumbtacks with a poisonedrana that gets the crowd on their feet! She goes for the cover again, but only gets a two count! Still in the thumbtacks, she waits for Wade to get to his feet, the crowd still cheering her on! He gets to his knees, and is doubled over, which gives Chase a moment to jump into the Second Act (Martin-Knees)! But Manson sees it coming and moves back at the last second! Her knees collide with the ground and the thumbtacks, the crowd wincing along with her. Wade immediately spins into the Decapitator Kick (Tornado Kick to the back of the head)! There's nothing but boos as he turns her over and makes the three count! As he's having his hand raised, the crowd begin to get loud again. It's Atticus Hayes Jr, from MWCW! During the last part of the match, he's taken the Liberty Extreme Championship and hightailed it up the ramp! Wade begins to go after him but realizes Atticus is too far up the ramp to catch up. He changes strategy, turning back to Romano but she's not there! instead, she's made her way through the audience, with help from them of course! The HoW audience chuckle and cheer for Atticus and Chase, despite Wade technically retaining. WINNER AND STILL Liberty Pro Extreme Champion, Wade Manson! FINISHING MOVE Decapitator Kick (Tornado Kick to the back of the head) |
Match Four Chris Night vs Jvstice Hardy The beloved former Grand Champion, Chris Night, makes his way out onto the ramp to a warm welcome. He never even got a rematch for the Grand Championship, but has been fighting against The Division ever since he lost it. Going against Jvstice now only brings more questions. At best, it'll be a competitive match against a legend and an up and comer, despite the history. At worst, Night has yet another enemy on his hands. It remains to be seen where Jvstice's allegiances truly lie. Being the veteran, Night takes control to start off the match. We see a tie up that Chris wins, giving Hardy a waistlock takedown to the mat. Chris tries to move into a chickenwing submission but Jvstice is able to roll out from under him. They both roll up to their feet and at the same time jump into dropkicks, that both connect! The pair of them hit one another and fall to the canvas. Back on their feet again, they trade blows back and forth, until Chris whips Hardy towards the ropes. But once Jvstice hits the ropes, he bounds into a springboard back elbow that catches Night in surprise. He rebounds off the ropes and comes back into a floatover neckbreaker! Still, Chris rolls through and onto his feet with Hardy. This surprises Jvstice, who eats a forearm to his chest. Then a second one that backs him up to the corner. Night takes hold of Hardy's arm, whipping him out of the corner but then short-arming him back into a jumping calf kick! Chris quickly rushes over to the turnbuckle and jumps up to the second rope. When Hardy gets to his feet, he spins around and walks right into a crossbody from Night! The referee drops to the canvas but Jvstice kicks out. Chris keeps control by placing Jvstice in the corner. He leaps up to the second rope once again, this time leaning back into a monkey flip that sends Hardy soaring. Night aims for him with a knee drop, but Hardy is able to move out of the way. Hardy rolls backwards onto his feet, before lifting Night into a fisherman suplex! He bridges up, hoping for a three count but Chris is able to kick out after the one. Hardy is beginning to look more tired than Chris, but he battles on. He locks shoulders with Chris once again, lifting him up off the mat but Chris doesn't allow himself to be lifted further. Instead, he lands multiple elbows to the side of Jvstice's head until he lets go. Chris is able to sidesweep him, tripping Hardy up and causing him to fall. Night lands a hard right hand into his gut that sees him double over. In the middle of the ring, Chris nails Hardy with Nightfall (Sunsetflip Powerbomb)! The crowd cheer as he tucks Hardy in for the pin attempt, but he kicks out after two! Jvstice rolls back into his corner, his eyes a little wide and looking slightly overwhelmed by the legend. With good reason though, he's a former HoW Grand Champion. The audience see Jvstice take out the brass knuckles that RAZE had given him earlier, his back turned to Chris. You can almost see the thoughts going a mile a minute in his head, but he tucks them back in just as Chris rushes him again. Hardy spins around and lands a forearm that makes Night step back. Hardy leaps into a superman punch, but it's blocked by a sudden high knee from Chris! It catches Hardy on the chin, and he falls back into the nearest corner. He turns around and begins to take the cover off the turnbuckle behind him. Naturally, the referee begins to yell at him to stop, but Jvstice continues until the cover is simply hanging off by the string. He then rushes and slides under Chris' legs, placing himself on the opposite side of the ring. The referee begins replacing the removed turnbuckle cover in anger. That's when Jvstice reaches into his tights again, pulling out the brass knuckles and putting them on. Just as Night rushes up to him again, Hardy lands a hard fist right into Night's ribs! You can almost hear the crack echo up into the stands! Night doubles over hard, he's hurt, clutching his ribs. Hardy quickly disposes of the brass knuckles just as the referee turns back around. Chris is still doubled over, trying to stand up straight but finding it difficult. Jvstice lifts him up onto his shoulders and nails him with Truth in Vengeance (Fireman's Carry Cutter)! Chris is still holding his ribs as Hardy covers him for the three count! Jvstice smirks as the EMTs head down to the ring, ultimately helping Chris to the back for medical attention. WINNER Jvstice Hardy FINISHING MOVE Truth in Vengeance (Fireman's Carry Cutter) |
Match Five Handicap Guaranted Title Shot on the Line Jenson Idol vs Veronica Taylor & Bianca Page No introduction needed for these four, that's for sure. Naturally, Bash Blackstone walks out behind Veronica and Bianca, who come out together. These three have been on a kick to dispose of Jenson Idol, which of course stems from him backstabbing them. A betrayal he still believes he made out hot from, and he shows us this by walking out proudly with his clipboard in hand. The clipboard the contains the contract for his guaranteed Grand Championship match. We start with Bianca on the apron and Jenson facing off against Veronica. By now these two know each other well enough to know they aren't rushing right in. Both have been known to have tricks up their sleeves. They circle around one another, looking for an opening, until Bianca reaches over the rope and gives Jenson a right hand. Jenson turns around to look at Bianca but is blasted with a running leg bulldog from Taylor! She goes to town with stomps from her designer shoe, before trying for an early pin that Idol kicks out of. She mounts him, grabbing him by his head and banging it into the canvas. He's able to overpower her, tossing her off. He bounds off the ropes as she's in the seated position, driving a knee to her face! She clutches her chin, rolling to her corner and tagging Page in. Bianca comes in strong, smashing Jenson in the face with a huge big boot. She yanks Jenson up to his feet buy his arm, going for a lariat that he manages to duck under. Instead he ends up looking at Bianca's back, then lifting her up into a backdrop. He keeps hold of her, rolling to their feet before he drives her down with a modified olympic slam this time. He seems to be holding his own thus far, but the girls are certainly less winded than he. He gets Bianca up to her feet, locking shoulders with her and bringing her up for a suplex. Page reverses it though, landing on her feet. She grabs Idol from the side into a Russian legsweep, following up by rolling backwards and back up to her feet. Idol tries to kip up just the same, but eats Swanky (Superkick) from Bianca immediately when he turns around! Bianca hooks his leg for the pin attempt, but Jenson is able to kick out just after the two. Page grabs him into a front facelock, landing a knee to his head before dragging him back up to his feet. Bianca gives him another right hand, taking him back to her corner to tag Veronica in. When Taylor comes in, Bianca stays inside and grabs Chris into a reverse russian legsweep position. Just as Bianca is rocking Jenson forward, Veronica runs up and nails a leaping reverse STO at the same time! Great teamwork by the girls, signified by Bash's claps at ringside. Veronica goes for the cover, but somehow Jenson is able to kick out just before the three count! They look frustrated but Bianca goes back to the apron all the same. She sticks her boot up on the top rope, as Veronica yanks Jenson up to his feet. Taylor takes hold of Idol's head, smashing him face first first Page's boot! Bianca and Veronica can't help but giggle to themselves at their success, Bash joining in at their corner. Slowly, Idol has crawled over to his corner and thought of a grand idea. He grabs hold of the clipboard and waits for Veronica to come back. When she does, he turns around and smacks her right in the temple with it! Of course the referee calls for the bell and the disqualification! However, in true DQ rules, Jenson keeps his prize. Idol clutches the clipboard to his chest and rolls out of the ring. He's laughing like crazy, knowing that he technically lost the match but he's found a way to ultimately outsmart Bash again. Bash enters into the ring to check on Veronica who is holding her forehead. Bianca leans against the ropes, taunting to Jenson. However, seeing as how they are the victors, Bash holds their hands high in the middle of the ring! WINNER Bianca Page & Veronica Taylor FINISHING MOVE Disqualification; Jenson keeps his title shot |
Fade.
Match Six Pure Rules House of Wrestling Interim Pure Championship Faizah Marshall vs Charli Manning In an exciting turn of events, Charli Manning and Faizah Marshall are now competing for the interim Pure Championship. The winner will meet Tomoko in a month's time to decide the one true champion. The Runaways have done everything they can to take the championship from Tomoko Ota, and they've almost succeeded when they put her out of action for a month and a half. Supposedly. However, odds are they didn't count on having Faizah as their last obstacle. They go in for a tie up, and Charli gets the better with a waistlock takedown. She springs up to her feet, jumping into a double stomp to Faizah's back. Manning rolls up to her feet, grabbing Faizah by her wrist into a wristlock. Charli is showing from the start that she means business, keeping it applied and reeling back on it. She refuses to let go, even as Faizah tries to roll forward and away from her. Manning yanks her by the wrist, and Marshall falls into the ropes, getting herself a rope break. Faizah isn't exactly happy. As Charli rushes her again, Marshall plants her with a dropkick. They lock shoulders momentarily, Faizah driving Charli back down with a snap suplex. She grabs Charli up to her feet, before powering her back down with a scoop slam. Once on the mat again, Faizah locks in an STF! Charli yells out to Dani at ringside, and Manning has to inch her way to the ropes in order to get herself a rope break. They reset, with Charli letting her emotions get the better of her. She does land a hard chop that surprises Marshall, but she ripcords her into a lariat that Faizah ducks! Marshall grabs her for a dragon suplex. On the mat, Faizah applies a front facelock! With Charli face down, she's unable to see well, but knows there has to be ropes behind her. Still, she almost taps trying to back into the ropes but eventually gets her foot to one. Faizah climbs to the second rope, jumping off into an elbow drop that only connects with the canvas when Charli rolls out of the way. Charli capitalizes by smashing her in the face with the Double Pump (Axe Kick to Scorpion Kick)! Faizah falls to the mat, and Charli flips her over for a pin attempt. The referee gets to a two count before he sees Faizah's leg on the bottom rope for her second rope break of the match. Marshall eats multiple right hands in the corner, before Charli gives her a monkey flip out of it. Manning now resorts to stomping on Faizah, making sure to cause as much damage as possible. Of course, the referee calls her on it and tells her that she has to stop or be disqualified. She puts her hands up, exclaiming she'll stop. These few seconds at least give Faizah a short breather, and when Charli gets her up, Marshall brings her knee up and connects with Manning's midsection. She follows up with an exploder suplex! As Charli pushes herself up to her knees, Faizah rushes and jumps into a running bulldog that takes her down to the canvas once again. Faizah grabs Charli by her leg, flipping her over into a single leg crab. Charli yells out and reaches for the ropes but Faizah pulls her back towards the middle of the ring. Instead, Charli gets a different idea, now pushing herself up to one leg, before striking Marshall across the face with her opposing leg. Manning grabs Faizah by the hair, slamming her back down to the canvas face first. The crowd boos, but she soaks it in. In fact, she heads up the turnbuckle a moment later, looking to end the match and take home the gold. Dani encourages her as Faizah gets up and turns around. Charli jumps off into the Shotgun (Magnum), but Faizah sees it coming! She rushes forward and catches Manning with a spear with in midair! The crowd erupts out of excitement! Marshall pushes herself to her feet and uses the ropes to help. With the crowd firmly behind her and Dani Shadow looking like she's about to have an anxiety attack at ringside, Faizah heads up to the second rope. Once there, she leaps off and nails Charli with Bae Alert (Step-Up Second Rope Moonsault)! The crowd are nothing but cheers as Faizah makes the cover on the Runaway, the referee counting the three! Much to the dismay of The Runaways. WINNER AND NEW House of Wrestling Interim Pure Champion, Faizah Marshall! FINISHING MOVE Bae Alert (Step-Up Second Rope Moonsault) |
Match Seven Violent Rules Alex Andrews vs RAZE As Alex Andrews walks out onto the ramp, she's given the largest pop of the night! Andrews has always been one of the biggest fan favorites here in the House, and that hasn't changed. Alex has done it all: Grand Champion, fighting a corrupt boss, and now fighting against an entity that looks to take over the House. The Anomaly RAZE walks down alone, the same way the rest of The Division have walked down. Naturally, there's various items surrounding the ring and outside. When the bell rings, the two begin to circle around one another to eventually meet in the middle for a test of strength. RAZE wins, spinning Alex around to face her back. He lifts her up into a backdrop, but Alex immediately throws her weight forward and yanks RAZE into an arm drag. He rolls through and back onto his feet but eats a knee from Andrews that puts him in the corner. She grabs a nearby chair, rushing forward as RAZE is in the corner, but he moves out of the way. She smacks the post on accident, dropping the chair. RAZE in turn grabs Alex by the throat, lifting her up with both hands and tossing her up and over the top rope! He slowly climbs over the ropes and to the outside, where Alex has pushed herself to her feet. The Anomaly grabs her by the hair, landing a lariat back down to the ground. He lifts her back up to her feet, going for an early Atom Bomb (Chingona Bomb) and lifting her high into the air! He walks her over to the steel steps, where Andrews kicks her legs. RAZE loses his grip, with Alex grabbing him into a DDT on the way down and smashing him right into the steel steps! The fans are on their feet! Andrews goes for a cover, but RAZE is able to power out. She knew it wouldn't be that easy. She grabs a kendo stick, snapping it across RAZE's back and causing a red slash across his back. She yells out, showing her fury, before smacking him with it a second time. The Anomaly has been moving around ringside as he was hit, and Alex has simply been following him. However, she goes for a third hit and he moves at the last second, causing her to break the kendo stick by striking it against the post instead! The vibrations hurt her hand a bit, so she opens her palms and drops the remaining pieces. Unfortunately she's too focused on her hands to see that RAZE has grabbed a chair, and he smashes it across her head a moment later to a crazy amount of boos. He lays the chair down on the ground, before picking Alex up from behind. He lifts her high up into the air, this time connecting with the Atom Bomb (Chingona Bomb) right onto the chair! Andrews looks out cold as RAZE lays over her, a smirk spreading across his face. But the crowd erupts when somehow Alex gets her shoulder up just before the three! The Anomaly looks shocked beyond belief, taking a moment as the crowd goes ballistic. He raises Alex into the air, the third time in the match looking for the Atom Bomb, but Andrews uses the energy she has to slip down his back! She lands closer to the ramp, deciding to make her way up it. RAZE follows her, Andrews trying to regain her energy but he catches up with her. RAZE goes for a big boot, but Andrews drops to the ramp and ducks it! Now looking at his back, she spins him into Hella Rough (Killswitch) and drops him face first into the cold hard ramp! The crowd cheers as Alex turns him over, the referee dropping for the count. But he somehow shoots his shoulder up at the last possible millisecond! The crowd boos, and there's a moment Alex looks disappointed, but she knows she must fight on. She gets RAZE to his feet, the two obviously feeling the effects from the match now. She lands a forearm, which causes him to back up. She goes to land another but he continues backing up, now looking like he's trying to get away from her. She has to run to catch up with him, delivering an axehandle at the top of the ramp now. He answers with a headbutt that surprises Alex, backing her up to the edge of the top of the ramp now! She almost falls back catches herself. RAZE meets her there, first delivering a shoulder to her gut, but as she's doubled over she nails RAZE quickly in the face with a knee but raising it up to meet his chin. You can hear the smack echo into the stands, and it forces him to stand back up. Andrews grabs his arms, and in one motion spins and leaps off the edge of the stage with RAZE into Hella Rough (Killswitch)!! The crowd goes crazy as the cameras rush to the area below, viewing the time in a pile of rubble! Both can barely move, but Alex is laying across RAZE, pinning his shoulders to the mat! The referee drops and counts the three, the EMTs coming in a moment later. WINNER Alex Andrews FINISHING MOVE Hella Rough (Killswitch) |
Headliner Grand Endurance Wrestling Grand Endurance Championship Jack Graves(c) vs Davina King Even prior to the creation of the Agora Network, the House has always had strong ties with Grand Endurance Wrestling. Davina King herself, while holding the GEW Spotlight Championship, defended it twice within the halls of HoW. Now she looks to capture the Grand Endurnace Championship from a mighty dangerous foe in Jack Graves. Graves has proved himself around the globe even before joining The Division. He's even already main evented an HoW supershow when he challenged Chris Night at Metaverse. Just as the other members have tonight, Jack is unaccompanied. The crowd are absolutely on fire as the bell rings and the two go in for a tie up. Jack is able to spin Davina around, and he goes for a lariat to the back of her head. Somehow she ducks it! Instead she grabs him from behind in a reverse DDT position, which she drops onto her knee and then the canvas. She bounds off the ropes, coming back for a running legdrop that Graves is able to move out of the way from. As she's pushing to her feet, Jack nails her in the back of the head with a knee. He yanks her up from the canvas, taking a few steps forward and plants her with a front slam. He doesn't stop there though, lifting her up off the canvas in the same position before launching her through the air with a fall away slam! Graves soaks in the boos, facing the crowd as Davina uses the ropes to get herself to her feet. King rushes him, but Jack turns around and catches her at the right time into a spinning side slam. The crowd begin to boo some more as Davina's chances look to slowly be diminishing. Graves grabs her into a headlock, yanking her up to her feet as she continues clubbing him. He answers by folding in her arms for Black Curtains (Straightjacket DDT)! He turns her over, arrogantly placing his boot upon her chance for a pin. The crowd cheer when Davina's shoulder shoots into the air, while Jack looks amused. He grabs her up into a gorilla press slam, raising her high above his head, but Davina slips off his back! She grabs his shoulders on the way down and nails him with a shocking backstabber. She mounts him and begins to throw elbows and forearms at him look a true fighter. Jack knows this style well though, putting up his arms in guard to absorb the blows. Jack is only able to get out by giving Davina a headbutt. She backs up and off him. Jack runs at her with a boot that Davina is able to swerve, she grabs him from behind into a full nelson sleeper. He's forced to work against her, finding it a little more difficult than he thought to break free. Just when he is about to break free, she lets him out by pushing him forward. By the time he turns around to meet her, he's turning right into Slap A Ho (Spinning Backfist) that catches Jack right across the chin! He hits the ground hard, and Davina immediately goes for the pin. The crowd are on their feet as the referees hand is coming down for the three, but Jack gets his shoulder up at the last possible milisecond! They both get to their feet in their respective corners, meeting each other in the middle again. Jack wins, whipping Davina across the ring. When she bounds back, she runs right into a kick that lands to her midsection. Naturally, she doubles over, and Graves lifts her up into a gutwrench powerbomb! But Davina is able to spin out! She grabs hold of Jack's arm, spinning up and over, then dragging him down to the canvas for an arm drag. They both roll up to their feet, when Jack is rocked with an uppercut that has him seeing stars! He almost falls backwards, trying to catch himself and the ends up stumbling right into the turnbuckle. You can see the wheels inside his mind begin to turn as he looks at the situation he's in. The same way Jvstice had before, Jack turns and begins taking off the cover of the turnbuckle. He leaves it hanging by the string that had tied it on, then moves to the perpendicular post. Same as before, the referee begins to fix the turnbuckle cover that's been removed, which gives Jack time to pull the same brass knuckles out of his pocket. With his back to the referee, he quickly slips them on, turning with a solid punch. Being the former boxer than she is, Davina swerves the punch, then jabbing Jack's wrist in just the right way to make it snap towards his face. The knucks hit him square in the face with a snap! It doesn't hold a lot of force behind it, but the impact of the knucks on his teeth causes the inside of his mouth to bleed. More than that, he's shocked! So shocked that he's grabbed into a chickenwing by Davina. Harnessing every bit of strength within her, she lifts Jack up into the Shook Slam (Sitout Glam Slam) that shakes the ring!! She flips him over and hooks his leg, the crowd counting along as the referee hits the three! WINNERS AND NEW Grand Endurance Wrestling Grand Endurance Champion, Davina King! FINISHING MOVE Shook Slam (Sitout Glam Slam) |
Main Event IronWoman House of Wrestling Grand Championship Jessi Ozborne(c) vs McKena Hardy Ever since signing her contract in the House of Wrestling, Jessi Ozborne knew she was meant for great things here. She narrowly missed winning the Black Key at last year's Keys to the House, which bit her in the ass when the holder cashed in on her directly after winning her first Grand Championship. She'd still make good on her words though, now the current Grand Champion and looking to keep it that way, despite what McKena and The Division have to say about it. Hardy was the winner of the Golden Nightmares match, while some believe she isn't the rightful winner she's here just the same. They both have great ring smarts, so they're both on guard moving around the ring. With every strike, the other throws up a block. Until McKena suddenly guns it for the turnbuckle. She kips up the side and falls back into a crossbody! She surprisingly hooks Jessi's leg for an early pin attempt but the Grand Champion isn't about to give up a point that easy. When she gets up the two grabs one another by the head and begin to throw right hands. McKena whips Jessi across the ring but Ozborne reverses it, with Hardy bounding back into a flapjack! She follows it up with a running senton crashing across McKena's midsection. On the canvas, she gives McKena a couple more right hands, before leaping up into a double stomp. McKena is able to roll out of the way, causing Jessi to double jump and roll forward. As Hardy has rolled onto her feet, she rushes towards Ozborne with a rocket kick that catches her right in the chest. Jessi falls through the second rope and crashes to the outside. She gets up a moment later, but turns around right into a suicide plancha from McKena soaring through the air! The referee begins to count as McKena drags her up, smashing her face into the side of the apron. She goes for a second one but Jessi puts her arms out to stop the momentum suddenly! She lands a hard elbow to Hardy's side, causing her to release. She grabs McKena up into an exploder suplex, slamming McKena into the side of the apron! As the count gets higher, Jessi rolls McKena under the bottom rope and into the ring. Form the apron she goes up the turnbuckle. She's about to jump when McKena leaps towards the ropes, suddenly shaking them and throwing Ozborne off balance. it causes her to fall into a split right on the post! The audience winces with her. McKena begins to land multiple right hands, heading up the side of the turnbuckle with Jessi. She brings Jessi up to her feet, with the pair of them now standing on top. However, Ozborne starts landing clubbing fists to McKena's side and throwing her off. Suddenly, Jessi jumps from the turnbuckle, taking McKena with her and rolling her into a crucifix driver off the top rope! The crowd pop huge, and the referee drops to the mat, giving Jessi her first three count just before McKena powers out! The crowd continue cheering and McKena's hands go right to the side of her head, shocked she allowed that to happen. Ozborne - 1 Hardy - 0 McKena immediately guns for Jessi with knees, backing her up into the corner and continuing. Ozborne throws up her arms to help with blocking the shots. Hardy brings herself up to the second rope and begins landing right hands until Jessi pushes her off. Jessi runs into a dropkick that catches McKena. On the canvas, Jessi applies a rear chinlock, pressing her knee firmly against McKena's back. Hardy has to work her way to the ropes, placing her leg upon it to get herself a rope break. Ozborne backs off with her hands raised, but Hardy doesn't let her breath. She gives her an axehandle to the back the moment that Ozborne turns around. She smashes elbow after elbow to Jessi, then gunning towards the ropes and springboarding backwards into a cutter. She bounds off the ropes again, this time leaping into a rolling thunder that connects across Ozborne's chest. McKena leans back for the pin attempt, but Jessi gets her shoulder up. Hardy maintains control by yanking Jessi to her feet. She twists her up into a hammerlock, going for a reverse DDT as the icing on the cake. However, Jessi is able to grasp McKena's wrist and spin herself out. McKena begins to rush towards the ropes, but Jessi catches her from behind into a sitout mat slam. Ozborne takes a small stroll up to the second rope, jumping off with an elbow drop that gets some height! She lies across McKena, going for a second pin but Hardy gets her shoulder into the air after the two. McKena grabs her into a front facelock, but Jessi is able to power out and jumps into a basement dropkick. She grabs Hardy into a heel hook, making her yell out in pain! Ozborne has switched strategies, now trying to get McKena to tap out instead. The Aerial Antihero is forced to endure the pain and work herself towards the ropes, only to have Jessi move them back towards the middle of the ring. This time McKena works her way up to one leg, spinning into a heel kick with her other leg. Ozborne is smart though, releasing the heel hook as McKena jumps and ducks! McKena ends up with both legs over Jessi's shoulders and Ozborne stands up to put her in an Alabama slam position! She slams Hardy forward!...but McKena keeps spinning! She throws her weight and grabs Jessi's legs as she does, swooping Ozborne up into a modified sunsetflip intead! McKena tucks her in for a pin, and the referee counts a quick three! Ozborne - 1 Hardy - 1 The two roll to either side of the ring, using the ropes to help themselves to their feet. McKena has let a smirk spread across her face, knowing she's tied with the champion. On the other hand, Ozborne is that much closer to possibly losing her title and thus, her expression is that much more worrisome. The House crowd gets louder and louder, leading to the two rushing each other yet again. Jessi goes for a leaping calf kick that McKena is able to roll under. Hardy goes for a sweep of the leg that Ozborne leapfrogs over! Jessi runs towards the turnbuckle, running up the ropes and leaping backwards into a flying lariat! The crowd are on their feet! On the mat, Ozborne snatches McKena into a dragon suplex position, yanking her to her feet. She lifts McKena up into the air, but the moment she does, Hardy throws her weight down and Jessi releases her. She spins into an armdrag takedown, then somersaulting over Jessi. Ozborne kips up and eats a stiff uppercut. McKena is able to lock shoulders with her after this, lifting her up and driving her back down with a falcon arrow! She goes for the cover, but Ozborne kicks out! The Aerial Antihero is able to lock shoulder with Jessi while on the mat, dragging her up to her feet. Once there, she lifts her into another suplex, but this time she drops her forward and into her raised knee! Ozborne hits the canvas again, while the force of impact causes McKena to stumble back into the corner to catch her fall. Both are definitely feeling the effects of the match but are unwilling to give up. Hardy grabs hold of the Grand Champion's head, forcing her upwards yet again. Once there she spins her around into a hangmans neckbreaker position. But she is able to drop into it, Jessi surprises Hardy by suddenly powering out of her grasp! She spins around and nails McKena in the back of the head with a hard elbow. McKena immediately grabs the side of her head where she's been hit and stumbles forward but doesn't fall. Jessi grabs her from behind, lifting her up and over and nailing the Parallax (Z-360)! The crowd cheers as her knee collides with McKena's forehead and she's seeing stars! But she hits McKena with such force, she falls back through the second rope and crashes to ringside! Ozborne has to hurriedly exit the ring, help Hardy onto the apron and roll her back into the ring. The crowd are anxious beyond belief as she turns McKena over, hooking her leg. But Hardy kicks out just before three! Jessi almost can't believe it, but in reality she realizes the time it took to put McKena back in the ring is what gave her the time she needed to recover. Jessi transitions into a triangle choke that sees McKena squirming! She's able to work her way up onto her knees though, turning to the side and landing a forerm to Jessi's face. Ozborne releases the triangle, rolling up to her feet but shaking her head as if she is still regaining herself after that shot. It's too late though, as Jessi eats a kick to the midsection followed by the Antihero Drop (Inverted DDT)!! The House crowd fill the MGM Grand Garden Arena with boos as McKena turns her over to hook her leg. But Jessi is still somehow able to kick out at the last millisecond, keeping the score tied! McKena slowly gets Jessi up to her feet again, dragging her via a headlock. Ozborne begins to land a few tired right hands but they don't appear to have much power behind them currently. At least not enough power to make a dent in McKena's headlock. Hardy whips Jessi across the ring, but then short-arms her back into Pump the Breaks (STO Backbreaker Faceplant)! Hardy hits the STO Backbreaker, but when she goes to land to faceplant, Ozborne holds onto the ropes! She arches her back in pain, but stays standing, as McKena flings herself back onto the canvas. She begins to stands up and with ten seconds to go, Ozborne nails Parallax (X-360) once again! She hooks the leg and the referee drops to the mat for the three count with seconds to spare!! Ozborne - 2 Hardy - 1 The crowd erupts as the bell rings and the Grand Championship is handed back to Jessi Ozborne! WINNER AND STILL House of Wrestling Grand Champion, Jessi Ozborne! FINISHING MOVE Parallax (Z-360) |
