LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena
We start off Foundations II when the scene opens with the Leader of the Lost Generation, Noah Ortega, standing in front of a HOW logo'd backdrop. Standing in front of him are members of The Lost, all masked and blacked out in their fits.
Noah Ortega: House of Wrestling has become our home.
Emerging from the group of masked individuals, are two who are not. House of Wrestling's newest signings and members of The Lost Generation, Anton Palmer and Giovanni Moriello. They stand alongside Ortega, who embraces them each with gentle pats on the shoulder.
Noah Ortega: The way of The Lost, is the only way. And soon,
In unison, the group say back to him:
The Lost: Soon, the world will know.
Ortega nods his head in appreciation, a smirk cementing on his lip.
Noah Ortega: Now that The Lost have arrived, we can finally get down to some business.
He clasps his hands together, licking his lips as he does so.
Noah Ortega: McKenna Hardy, you're someone I've been wanting to get my hands on since Foundations.
He clenches his fist in anger.
Noah Ortega: I was so close, from becoming the inaugural HOW Violent Champion. I was ready, McKenna and it was you, who pulled down the rope and sent me to my impending doom. You eliminated me from that match and you couldn't even go on and win it, and that fact alone, it infuriates me McKenna. An opportunity squandered, and now, you'll have to deal with the consequences, in a one on one, standard singles match against The Leader of The Lost Generation. This isn't an over the top rope kinda deal, this is me in my element - one on one, where I get to dictate things. This is my circus McKenna, you're just a visitor along for the ride. There's always a place open for your here, with The Lost. I can sense it, you're a bit of a lost soul yourself. But that doesn't mean you can't be redeemed, McKenna. With The Lost, there's always a way.
The scene gradually fades out to that of the face of Jolyne Ferolino. She can be seen propped up against a wall. She seems to be a bit disappointed with a sigh punctuating those feelings.
JOLYNE FEROLINO: "You know, it's hard not to wish that things worked out differently for me. I could've been one of the first champions for this promotion. I could be here with my precious hunk of gold and getting ready to defend my title with as much pride as I could muster. But of course, things didn't go that way. It stings, but I ain't gonna cry and stomp my fight about it. Being a baby about things isn't going to change time back and make me a champion. The only thing I can do is move forward and work towards my goal from here on out."
She gave a shrug.
JOLYNE FEROLINO: "But it isn't going to be easy, is it? Nah. It's never a walk in the park. Still, if I wasn't part of a stacked roster, then whatever wins may come my way will be meaningless. I mean, I'm facing off against Siren, and she's no joke. Definitely the kind of bitch that can scare people. However, one thing about me is that I'm not easy to intimidate. All this talk about curses isn't going to shake me up. Not one bit. I'm as fearless as it comes. If you're set on making me scared though, Siren, then you've got a lot of work to put in. I don't back down from no one, and I sure as hell ain't gonna let you punk me out. I'll go the distance and drag you all the way down to hell if I have to if I got to beat you. It's that simple."
Jolyne nodded before giving a smirk.
JOLYNE FEROLINO: "So, let's burn this shit up, shall we?
Blackout.
Pre-recorded footage cuts to Myra Rivers in a warehouse. She happens to be standing by a ladder at this point in front of a mural of Las Vegas’s skyline providing a background for her first words in House of Wrestling. Myra is appearing incredibly confident as she begins to express her thoughts.
Myra Rivers: I surprised some people by showing up two weeks ago, and in a match for the Violent Championship at that. I may not have won, but for me it was more about the experience of starting something new. Even then, I still made the most out of the match. I still ended up in the final four of the battle royal. That’s a hell of a beginning and a hell of a start to show what I am capable of and let me just say, obviously, that there is so much more where that came from. That was just a sneak preview. Yeah, I’ve been around the world many times over. I’ve won the championships that I’ve won. I know that I’m capable of winning more. I know that even at my age, I am in the best shape I’ve ever been in and at the absolute best I’ve ever been in. That’s what makes me a contender and that’s something that Sabrina McKay is going to learn when I make my one on one debut here tonight…
Myra takes a pause to reflect a bit on her opponent.
Myra Rivers: Sabrina, you had a rather rough go of it, didn’t you? Now, I’m not the biggest social media maven or anything, but one look at your Twitter and… did you even MENTION this company lately? Have you even been around? I haven’t seen one word from you regarding our match. It’s crazy because two weeks ago, you were incredibly brash. I think you even underestimated Alex Andrews. Maybe you’re not a rookie and I’m damn sure not going to treat you like one because that’s precisely the same mistake you made. The irony, right? The one that didn’t want to be treated as a rookie potentially making a rookie mistake? Sorry Sabrina… you got your thunder stolen by Alex…
Myra pauses again, facially expressing awkwardness at what happened with Sabrina while giving a bit of a sarcastic shrug.
Myra Rivers: But, that’s fine. You still had another crack at a championship. You were in that same Violent Championship battle royal with me. That was an opportunity to redeem yourself and… then you were the first one thrown out. Look, I’m not going to say that there is or isn’t a ‘curse’ or whatever it is that Siren may or may not have done to you. I’m not worried about that. I’m focused on what’s in front of me and that’s a new beginning. You might be wondering why I, at my age, can be successful well, it all started with this. You see, I have experience… PLENTY of experience… with making it big in Vegas and I’m not talking about the casinos, I’m talking about my wrestling career. Whether it’s a promotion I am working for coming through here or whether it’s a promotion BASED here, I’ve had MANY successes including being a two time tournament finalist or holding a championship for 350 days. BUT, I’m not here to talk about that.
What I’m here to talk about is the fact that my REAL beginning of my rise to the top DID start right here in Vegas! It started with a ladder match. My story begins as someone that was the biggest underdog in the match, and potentially in the entire company. There I was, in a ladder match with seven other people… all of whom questioned me being in the match… most of whom didn’t think I belonged in it. But you know what happened there, Sabrina? I won! I won and made myself a perennial champion over these last 14 years. I have accomplished what I have by having that focus, drive and determination that you lacked two weeks ago. See, you’re focused on being the ‘biggest star’... and that already puts you a step behind. Tonight? It is a new beginning for me and just like I did at the start of my career, I WILL climb that ladder to greater successes in this new beginning.
See you tonight!
Myra gives a confident wink as she exits the scene and the scene fades to black.
We shoot to Dashing Diaz backstage, pacing back and forth. He has a nice taylored, black suit on and his hair slicked back as usual. He is also holding a single rose in his hand. He brings it up to his face, starring at the petals. That's when we hear footsteps coming from behind him. Suddenly, they stop, and we hear a female voice clearing her thoat to get Diaz's attention. He turns around and the camera pans out to see our House of Wrestling Civil Champion, Davina King. She's in her wrestling gear already, with the Civil Championship fastened firmly around her waist next to her GEW Spotlight Championship.
Davina King: Well if it ain't the guy I've been tryin' to get ahold of the last two weeks.
Diaz smells the rose petals again, acting unphased.
Dashing Diaz: Yes, I did see your voice messages, amigo. However, I haven't been able to think straight...
Davina leaned in, concerned.
Davina King: Well hey first off, I know we ain't no AMIGOS but we are partners tonight. So if there is anything I can do to help ya out this slump then lemme know aight?
Diaz sighed.
Dashing Diaz: There is one thing amigo...you could let mi amore win tonight.
Davina's eyes almost shot out of her head.
Davina King: The fuck I am! Who the hell you think you are, talkin' about giving people wins. I don't give nobody a win off me, they gotta earn it. You and Bianca can play K I S S I N G up in a tree all ya want, but I ain't lettin' Taylor get another chance on me. She hit me from behind two weeks ago and she's gonna pay for that.
Dashing Diaz: But mi amore es muy bonita...
Davina King: Unh Uh! Knock that off! No more mi amore muy bonita bull crap. As the first holder of the Civil Championship I have a duty to keep things...well, CIVIL. I ain't trynna have things get outta hand with your shenanigans. So stay in line and we won't have no problems.
Our Civil Champion walks off screen, though clearly still apprehensive of her tag partner tonight. We fade away from the craft services section and re-open near the parking lot connection to backstage. “Classy” Bianca Page is walking into the backstage area of the MGM Grand Garden Arena with a group of security around her.
“Classy” Bianca Page: I cannot begin to convey how I am still so upset from what happened at the inaugural Foundations card. Obviously I am most upset by not walking out as the first ever Grand Champion. Everyone saw how that pathetic, creepy, stalker Dashing Diaz ran interference in my match with Mikey in the semifinals of the Grand Championship tournament.
Bianca pouts.
“Classy” Bianca Page: It seems as though Diaz isn’t taking no for an answer at his repeated advances. Which is why I have hired this security detail. You proud of yourself, Diaz? You are one of those creepers. Why? Because you cannot handle that I already have a man. I am not one of these hoes that falls into your bed because you smile at them. So…if you are requiring me to put you down then that is what I’ll do. Now tonight you get the privilege of being in the same ring with me. I am fortunate enough to be able to team up with another lady of class. I have no doubt Taylor and I will be a formidable team. She, like I was forced to deal with a cheater on the inaugural Foundation show, as well. It is the fact that people around here have an issue with beautiful women being in positions of power. As we speak I should be the Grand Champion and Taylor should be the Civil Champion but noooo. We get jobbed out because of cheaters, perverts, and insecure fools who need to recognize who the true talent around here is. Davina, Mikey…hold onto those belts tightly because Mikey knows that to be true. That is why he insisted on defending the Grand Championship against someone from outside of HOW. Tonight Taylor and I right the wrongs from a couple weeks ago.
Bianca and her security team walks away.
The camera opens on Holden Ross, wearing an all black suit (including shirt and tie.) His hair is slicked back and pinched between his lips is a blunt. Smoke curls from the tip and the cherry flares a bright orange as he takes a long, deep draw from it. He holds the smoke in his lungs for a few heartbeats before twin jets of smoke rocket from his nostrils. His eyes are red rimmed and bloodshot while his eye lids hang at half mast. The camera pulls back and we discover that Holden is sitting on a throne made from scrap metal. He gives the camera a quick smirk before addressing the viewers.
Holden Ross: "Hello, House of Wrestling; both the fans as well as those in the back. I'm sure a few of you are smart enough to figure out why I'm here; Mikey Svarro opened his mouth and issued an open challenge. Unfortunately for him I am the one who has chosen to take him up on his challenge."
He take another hit from the blunt before snuffing it out on the arm of his Throne.
Holden Ross: "You ran your mouth and got yourself into this. You've attempted to keep me at bay with insults and tricks; none of them worked and none of your tricks will save you. You are the 'Grand Champion' and have fallen into the trap so many others before you have. You believe your own hype. Believing in said hype caused you to make this challenge in belief that someone like myself wouldn't accept."
Holden rises from his seat and raches behind the Throne where he retrieves an battered, and much loved, axe handle. He grins while examining the end where the axe head would normally be and, instead, it is wrapped in heavy black tape. Slowly his eyes drift from the taped axe head to the camera.
"Mikey, your time is up. I am here and you have nowhere to hide. I don't want your belt. I could give a shit about belts. I just don't want you to have it. I live to to hear the wet slapping sound that is my fist connecting with another human's face or body. I get higher than any drug inflicting copious amounts of pain on others. And, the pain you bring my way just makes it evwen better. I was built for this while you were built for slithering your way out of the trouble you get yourself into. This time, you are getting stepped on and crushed like the slug you are. See ya soon, Mike...."
Holden's stare burns a hole through the lens as it fades to black.
We see a camera set up into the parking lot entrance to the arena and Alex Andrews is seen walking by lugging her luggage behind her, a gym bag strapped over a shoulder. Alex pauses as she registers seeing the camera and takes a couple steps back to address the camera.
Alex Andrews : Do I look a bit grumpy to you? A bit out of sorts with my usual happy-go-lucky demeanor, right? I think I have every reason to be, don't you think?
Alex's face flashes a look of frustration before settling on one of anger.
Alex Andrews : I almost did it. I was so close. SO close to making history and becoming the first ever House of Wrestling Grand Champion. I went through two very fierce women, I managed to win, showing that grit I told you about, twice. And I had Mikey beat. Dead to rights. But that of Rumble Reyes got himself involved and that's why I don't have that told around my waist. You cannot dispute that fact. As far as I'm concerned, I'm the uncrowded champion.
She lets out a sigh.
Alex Andrews : And so it seems Darcy Graves took exception to her loss to me on my path to the finals, and I get that. And in her eyes, beating me is her path to the Grand Championship. And like I said, I get it. But she just doesn't seem to get it. She doesn't seem to comprehend is the fact of the matter is how pissed off this entire business has made me. And I'm in zero mood to sugar coat things.
Alex glares at the camera.
Alex Andrews : You managed to grab yourself that HoW Violent Championship, Darcy. You should have been appreciative of that fact and settled into defending that belt to the best of your ability. That's what I would have done, but alas, you have desires of grandeur and think that avenging the loss to me will raise your standings. You are going to have scores of people just chomping at the bit to take that title from you, but you're more focused on little old me. So, puff up your chest, woman and tell me how ready you are for this, trust me, you arent. I'm pissed. I'm seething and all your talk just seems to be angering me even further because you don't get it. I'm gunning to Mikey. He has what is rightfully mine and walks around like he actually earned the title. Like he's done countless times in the past. And I will stop at nothing until I put him down. And you Darcy...well..
Alex rolls her eyes.
Alex Andrews : You put yourself in my way. And while I'm never one to underestimate anyone due to the fact I'm usual the underdog is most fights, I cannot, I will not be deterred. So I don't like your chances, girl. Y'all needed a giant lumbering mass of a man to put me down last Foundation and I was in a good mood that day. Tonight? Let's just say there will be hell to pay for this woman scorned. Bring all your vigor and vitriol you want, Darcy, but I'll show you exactly why you should have been happy with your consolation prize and not tried to go for my throat during my trek for gold. Limitless isn't just a catching thing I say. I mean it. You'll find out the hard way just how hard I go. Trust me when I say, I'm not stranger to violence myself.
Alex let's out a sour little chuckle to herself and grabs her pull behind luggage, walking away from the camera.
Darcy is not happy about her loss to Alex, and is about to show it. She exits the ring, grabbing the HoW Violent Championship and rolling back in the ring. She rushes forward, about to hit Alex over the head with it when Darcy is superkicked! Graves rolls from the ring, hand on her chin and title in hand. She's furious. None other than FAITHE was the one to superkick her!
FAITHE: Ya happy to see me, toots? Thought I should show up here tonight and remind ya that I'm next in line for that title on your shoulder and uhh seein' as how Alex here just dashed your dreams for...Grander...things, how about you put that belt of yours on the line at Foundations III. Time to see if you're really that violent, babycakes.
From the ramp, Darcy is calling to FAITHE that she'll see her in two weeks, while holding up the HoW Violent Championship. She's not about to let it go anytime soon. We go to commercial break at that.
When we come back from our commercial break, "Got the Life" by Korn pours from the PA system and the House of Wrestling Vegas crowd immediately fills the Garden Arena with boos. None other than Mikey Svarro comes from behind the black curtain, holding the HoW Grand Championship on his shoulder, and walking next to his trusty bodyguard, Rumble Reyes. He gets to the bottom of the ramp and slides into the ring, as Rumble is so big he simply steps up onto the apron.
Mikey Svarro: Hello and greetings from your HoW Grand Champion!
Svarro holds the belt on high.
Mikey Svarro: It sure does look glorious, doesn't it? It has this ability to put a glimmer of desire in your eye. I've seen it happen to anyone who has gotten a look at it. Bianca Page, Alex Andrews, Darcy Graves...and that's just the loudest ones on the roster. NOW ever since I made this open challenge, you've got more eyes on the belt and more competitors wanting to come in here and take it off of me. They want it for themselves. Well...all I have to ask you all is - how does it feel to WANT?
He snickers, looking over to Reyes who also appears to be chuckling, though the only way you can really tell is that his crossed arms seem to be moving each way.
Mikey Svarro: You see, that's exactly what I wanted. I wanted all your eyes on ME and this HoW Grand Championship. It's what this company needs. I knew I had my work cut out for me when I signed with this upstart, but nobody can put asses in the seats like I can. Nobody can carry this belt and make it mean something the way I can...least of all, anybody on this roster!
We get some boos from the crowd, knowing full well that Mikey is embellishing.
Mikey Svarro: So two weeks ago on twitter I said I would be sitting in this very ring tonight for five minutes and I'd defend this belt against anyone that came out to the ring to accept my challenge. That's the kind of champion that I am. So let's get five minutes on the clock, and let's see if anyone answers it...
First and foremost, as the clock began to tick it was obvious that it was going way faster than it's supposed to. Svarro didn't seem to notice but let's be real he probably rigged it that way. Suddenly we hear a "Yoohoo Mikeyyy" from the crowd, and Svarro turns to see Aaron Asphyxia in the front row. She waves, grinning from ear to ear, and his face immediately drops. She acts like she's going to hop the barricade and come wrestle him, but she breaks out into laughter, waving her hands from side to side. It's obvious she had no plans of that tonight.
Mikey Svarro: Very funny Aaron, super entertaining joke...
That's when Air Raid Sirens begin to play, and Holden Ross, the very man that said he would show up tonight, walks from behind the curtain. Svarro doesn't look surprised. In fact, he holds up one hand.
Mikey Svarro: Wait wait wait...you see, Holden, you had your agent Chris Page sign that contract for the House of Wrestling earlier in the week, which means you're a member of the roster...which also means that you can't compete in this match tonight. The rules were very clear, anyone NOT on the roster can accept the challenge.
Holden smirks, grabbing a microphone of his own.
Holden Ross: I thought you might say that, so I have my contract right here, and I'm not officially a roster member until tonight. So I'm fully within my limits to answer your challenge here tonight, Mikey! And you know it!
The crowd roars that there IS going to be a defense tonight and Mikey isn't going to get to slip away from everything. Mikey doesn't look happy at all, having thought he did away with Holden at the beginning of the week by getting him a contract with House of Wrestling. Before he has a moment to think on how to get out of it, two more people walk out together. It's Ryan Samuels, towing his bull rope, with his manager Percy Blake. Percy grabs a microphone himself.
Percy Blake: So we were in the back listening and thought this would be a great time to say that we're here too! Your challenge did say ANYONE not on the roster, right? My client Ryan Samuels, also wants in the match.
Svaro's expression says it all, he did not expect this at all. What's more is that he didn't know how he was going to get out of this match with these two huge men. He was livid.
Mikey Svarro: Wait what the hell!...this is bullshit! This...
Suddenly Mikey stopped yelling, turned and looked over at Rumble. Svarro's expression changed from one of fear and worry to being his usual self again.
Mikey Svarro: You know what, I did say that. Anyone NOT on the roster. You know who else isn't a roster member? Rumble Reyes! Rumble is ALSO going to be competing for the Grand Championship tonight!
Mikey nudged Rumble's shoulder, and Reyes' face was one of confusion. He definitely wasn't ready to compete tonight, but it seems that Svarro had other plans in trying to beat the system. With Rumble IN the match, he could actively protect Mikey from losing his title against these other two. Holden and Ryan walked into the ring.
Sebastian "Bash" Blackstone: Looks like this match IS happening and is now a FATAL FOUR WAY as Mikey Svarro puts his HoW Grand Championship on the line...
Holden rushes to the ring, sliding under the ropes but it's far too late. He just wants his hands on Mikey! Mikey slides out of the ring, grabbing a microphone and hopping up on the commentary table in hopes Holden won't come after him.
Mikey Svarro: Hey, hey! Hold on there Holden, I on this match fair and square. It's over now! Time out!
Svarro hoists the belt up onto his shoulder and puts his hands into a T for time out. Bash and Ellie both step away from the table as to not be injured in some way by Mikey standing on the table. In the ring, Holden stops but it looks more like he has only slowed down. Mikey knows he'll have to do more.
Mikey Svarro: In fact, I'm willing to even do this thing again. This Svarro Challenge or whatever you wanna call it. I'm willing to put the title on the line yet again in two weeks time!
Crowd cheers, and Holden seems to have been kept at bay by that comment.
Mikey Svarro: Yeah, yeah, exciting isn't it. There's a little more stipulations though. See, this four way shindig is NOT what I had in mind. I'm not down to meet multiple people in the ring. No. ONLY a one-on-one.
The crowd ooos and ahhhs and Mikey looks on, Holden nods his head up and down. He wanted nothing more than to get Mikey one-on-one where he couldn't escape. Hell, everyone wanted that!
Mikey Svarro: But you see, I meant what I said two weeks ago. There isn't a single person on the HoW roster that deserves a shot from Mikey Svarro. Nobody can hold a candle to YOUR Grand Champion. So again, I will ONLY be defending against someone outside of the company who answers my challenge.
Holden lets out a road of approval, still in the ring. Outside the ring, Rumble Reyes has regained himself and walked around the ring to where Mikey was standing on the table.
Mikey Svarro: Oh but wait, isn't your contract official now? At the end of tonight, you're going to be an official roster member, Holden. Which means you're not getting another shot at me ANYTIME soon!
Holden's eyes narrowed, knowing it was too good to be true. He shook his head, disappointed that Svarro was only biding his time until Rumble returned. He might be able to take out Reyes, but Mikey would again be able to slip away. From out of nowhere, the crowd starts chanting. "Night-Fall!" Clap! Clap! Clap! "Night-Fall!" Clap! Clap! Clap! Chris Night, who had been in the crowd to watch his protege, McKena Hardy, suddenly has a camera on him and is handed a microphone.
Chris Night: OH! Is that chant for me?
He joked sheepishly, knowing full well that the chant was for him. He stood up onto the barricade to give the crowd and participants a little better view on him. "Night-Fall!" chant picked up again until Chris quieted them.
Chris Night: Well alright, if that's what the people want to see. Then I'll accept your challenge for Foundations III, Mikey!
Svarro lets his arms drop to his side, knowing full well that his plan backfired again. He wanted nothing more than to have the night off, but here he was again being forced to eat his words. Svarro said nothing in response, his face said it all.
Chris Night: And Holden, I don't know you kid, but you seem like the best guy to handle this goon. So why don't you come out to the ring with me and we'll have ourselves a brawl. You better make good on your word, Mikey, because we'll be there!
Ross grins at Svarro and Reyes, having his own agenda, as the crowd roars with approval. Mikey on the other hand does not look happy at all, clutching to the HoW Grand Championship for dear life as we go off the air.
Noah Ortega: House of Wrestling has become our home.

Blackout.
Match One Noah Ortega vs McKena Hardy It is said by our commentary team, Bash Blackstone and Ellie Quinn, that both of these competitors impressed in the main event last week, being two of the last three involved in the over-the-top battle royal to determine the very first HoW Violent Champion. Tonight they have their first official match on the card. As the bell rang, we were made aware by lots of running and reversals that this match was going to be about speed on both ends. They would trade reversals and run around the ring the first part of the match, sometimes it being difficult for the HoW crowd to follow. That is, until Mckena catches Noah with a spinning wheel kick, launching into a rolling thunder that sees the crowd start to chant her name. She seems surprised. Noah rolls to the corner to get to his feet, Mckena using the new position to hit an awe-inspiring back handspring elbow in the corner. She keeps hold of him as Noah is stumbling from the corner, hitting a quick snap suplex. She floats over into a cover that gets about a one and a half. The look on her faces says she knows now she'll have to do much more. She learns that lesson even harder as Noah battles back to get to his feet, nailing a headbutt before walking onto the apron. Ortega watches Hardy get to her feet, holding the rope from the apron. He springboards towards her in a huge arm drag takedown that sees them both go down to the canvas. Noah quickly transitions though, applying an armbar with ease and reeeeeeling back on it, putting McKena in a huge world of hurt. Hardy struggles to break free, trying to re-position herself in order to twist the move in a different direction but every move she makes has a reaction from Noah. It seems she has no other choice but to tap when her foot on the other side touches the bottom rope. Noah is forced to let go, much to his dismay. Ortega hops over McKena as she's kneeling and getting to her feet, hitting the ropes and springboarding off again, showing his speed. He nails a huge spingboard meteora that smashes Hardy into the canvas. The move gets a pop from the crowd, though his actions haven't been stellar tonight. He makes them regret the pop as he helps Mckena up, only to send her shoulder first into the neaby corner and follow that up with a flying double knee. Hardy stumbles out of the corner and falls. This gives Noah time to jump to the second rope, hitting a second-rope moonsault for a pin. Mckena kicks out after a two! Noah springboards into a Lost Hope (Springboard Roundhouse) but doesn't connect! Because of the multitude of springboard moves, McKena sees it coming and rolls under his incoming kick. This causes Noah to somewhat catch himself but he stumbles and loses his footing. Mckena has rolled into a run and hit the ropes in time to take advantage by bounding back into a bulldog. She quickly climbs to the top rope and is about to leap into the Outcast Splash (Frog Splash) but someone reaches up and pushes her off! The bell sounds in disqualification. Mckena is getting to her feet, kneeling, when she is smashed in the back of the head with an Elbow From Hell (running back elbow strike to the back of the head of a kneeling opponent) by a debuting Gio Moriello! Anton Palmer also slides into the ring, grabbing McKena's limp body and locking her into No Escape (Coquina Clutch). She passes out as Noah Ortega gets to his feet again, telling Anton to release her. She crumbles onto the canvas as Anton and Gio drop to their knees beside the leader of The Lost.
Match Two Jolyne Ferolino vs Siren w/ Sierra Rot These two were both fairly matches, both trying to out aggression the other. These two ladies came out with hard punches from te get, and traded control for the first portion of the match. Siren had overpowered Jolyne into the corner, hitting her with multiple kicks across the chest. Siren then choked her with her foot, before leaning her across the rope and choking her with that as well! Of course the referee made her back off and break it up. Siren obliged, holding up her hands as if she's innocent. When she tended back to Jolyne, Siren was headbutted out of the corner, followed by a hard fisherman suplex that had them both on the canvas. The dance around the turnbuckle didn't stop there, with Siren hitting a tigerplex into the turnbuckle, and then using it to launch in a second-rope knee drop. Siren covered but barely got a two count. She went for another second-rope knee drop but Jolyne moved, causing Siren's knees to collide with the canvas. Jolyne bounds off the ropes with a basement dropkick. Jolyne herself goes to climb the ropes and only gets as high as the second rope before Siren rockets up the same turnbuckle. She tackles her against the post, stopping her ascent. Siren locks her arms around Jolyne's waist and goes for a backdrop, but Jolyne outsmarts her, backflipping up and over! This leaves Siren now on the second rope with Jolyne standing on the mat behind her. Jolyne now grabs Siren from behind using the height to nail a spinning electric chair drop! The move has high impact, seeing Siren's head BOUNCE off the canvas. Jolyne covers but only gets a two. The two continue battling, both now more tired than ever. Siren manages to gain the upperhand again, giving Jolyne a high knee to the face. Then she...runs away? Jolyne chases her as Siren runs to the second rope yet again. This time her plan seems to go off without a hitch, as she has enough time to turn around and leap into a sunset flip. She tries to pin Jolyne but gets a two count before Jolyne is able to roll through back back up onto her feet. Ferolino uses her newfound balance to kip up off Siren's shoulder into a hard striking shining wizard. Jolyne gets down onto the mat, giving Siren some ground and pound elbows. That's when Sierra Rot gets up onto the apron and begins yelling and Jolyne as close as possible. The referee is not having Sierra on the apron and starts to yell to her to get off and stop interfering with the match. Ferolino notices, of course, and walks over to Sierra. Now Ferolino and Rot are exchanging some words, every now and then they are bleeped out. Finally Jolyne gets tired of it, striking Sierra in the face with a hard forearm that takes her from the apron. Jolyne turns around to Siren on her feet, going for a strike... But Jolyne ducks! Siren spins around into a kick to the gut, before Ferolino packs her up into the Cemetery Gates (package piledriver). Jolyne rolls her over for the three count! WINNER Jolyne Ferolino FINISHING MOVE Cemetary Gates (Package Piledriver) |
Match Three Myra Rivers vs Sabrina McKay The two veterans started off the night with a handshake that said they were going to be fair and square about it all. They started a circle before going into various holds and rope breaks. The beginning of the match had the girls trying to focus on wearing their opponent down with some good old fashioned mat wrestling. Though it was apparent that the style wasn't what either preferred, as they both shined when they switch to something they knew well. The highlight was definitely that of a back and forth display. Sabrina had just hit a running facebuster, taking down Myra. As Rivers got to her feet, McKay ran forward again, this time into a headscissors takedown that flung Myra across the ring. Then, as she was getting to her feet, Sabrina connected with a crossbody pin, getting just over a one. As both women got on their feet, the crowd chanted both name "LET'S GO RIV-ERS! LET'S GO MC-KAY!" Sabrina waved Myra on, who came at her instantly. This caught Sabrina off guard, as Myra went into a headscissors of her own, except she followed hers up with an evenflow DDT! Myra flipped Sabrina over for just over a two count! The two ladies got to their feet again, both smiling. Myra a little moreso, having just completed the 'I can do that better' ring statement with her headscissors. McKay rushes forward again, ducking under Myra and leaping into a dropsault that makes her fall into a seated position in the corner. Sabrina runs into a cannonball! She covers for a two count! Myra grabs hold of Sabrina's arm after her kick out, turning it into a quick armbar, and then using her leverage to land a hook kick. She doesn't stop there though, twisting McKay's arm again to make her stand, before twisting Sabrina's arm around her own neck for a stiff neckbreaker! Myra covers for another two! Myra and Sabrina, who have been decently equal during the entirety of the match so far, begin trading backhand chops back and forth. That's when the creepy yet beautiful Sierra Rot appears near the commentary table at ringside. She's not trying to distract anyone in the ring, in fact, she's facing the crowd. She holds up a gold locket to the crowd, and a closer look would show blood splatters across the chain and locket itself. Inside the ring, Sabrina seems to be losing her strength. Whereas before her strikes where of equal power to Myra, now she doesn't feel them near as hard and is able to come back faster and stronger with her own strikes. McKay also looks confused, as if she doesn't know what's going on with her body. Sierra laughs at ringside, holding the locket higher as a thin layer of green smoke filled the air. Sabrina would try to bound off the ropes at this point, but run right into the extended leg of the Vixen Kick (Chick Kick) from Myra. Rivers would hook Sabrina's leg for the three count, and by the time anyone looked back to ringside, Sierra was gone. The commentary team of Bash Blackstone and Ellie Quinn wonder if Myra or Sabrina even saw Sierra there. WINNER Myra Rivers FINISHING MOVE Vixen Kick (Chick Kick) |
Match Four Davina King(c) & Dashing Diaz vs Bianca Page & Taylor This is definitely a strange tag match to have, but made obvious by the pairs having individual issues with one another. However, from the get you could see that Taylor and Bianca were on the same page while Diaz and Davina surely were not! We started with Taylor and Davina, with the Civil Champion getting the better of her challenger with an armbar. Taylor kicks her legs and screams, Hans looks worried on the outside. Taylor is eventually able to turn to the side for a rollup on Davina that gets a one and a half count. King gets up, grabbing Taylor from behind into a full nelson position, before dropping into a full nelson bomb. She keeps hold of Taylor though, locking in a modified ground octopus stretch. Taylor yells and screams again, quite annoyingly. This and Hans banging on the mat makes Davina give in and let go. She hits the ropes and tries to bound back for a knee to Taylor's back but she moves. Davina crashes to the canvas and goes for a tag, as Taylor goes for Bianca. Bianca is tagged but...Diaz isn't there! He's turned his back on Davina. He holds a single rose up from the bottom spot on the steel steps, letting it fall upon the top step. Diaz blows a kiss to Bianca, who grabs King from behind for a german suplex. She holds onto Davina's waist, executing a second one in a tremendous display of athleticism. From there it becomes obvious to Davina and everyone else that she's not getting any help, and she's slowly worn down by Bianca with a bicycle knee followed by a rather showboat-like snap DDT before Bianca tags Taylor back in. As Taylor enters, she looks way more cocky knowing it's now basically a handicap match. She slaps Davina as she's getting up, stomping her to the ground again. She tries to keep Davina down but she battles back, fighting uphill until she ducks under Taylor's arm and ends up behind her. The perfect position. Davina tries to lift Taylor for the Shook-eth! (Glam Slam) but Bianca rushes in. Davina sees her, and is forced to drop Taylor but isn't able to react in time, eating a big boot from Page. The ref gives her a talking to but Bianca is already back in her corner. Furthermore, Taylor surprisingly tags her in so Page steps right back into the ring anyway. The Civil Champion is getting to her feet when Bianca leaps into the Lavish Lifestyle (Blockbuster) that sprawls Davina out on the canvas. Bianca is surely about to pin... But wait! Taylor has reached in from their team corner and tagged herself back in right at the opportune moment. Bianca looks on with a questionable look on her face, knowing she's just done all the hardwork. Still, she knows they will both get a win, and so with a roll of her eyes she takes her place on the apron as Taylor hooks Davina's leg for the three count. At commentary, Bash and Ellie question what this means for the number one contendership of the Civil Championship. WINNER Bianca Page & Taylor FINISHING MOVE Lavish Lifestyle (Blockbuster) |
Match Five Darcy Graves(c) vs Alex Andrews Darcy entered the match slightly overconfident. She had a reason to be, as the HoW Violent Champion, but it caught her off guard when Alex met her with every blow. Darcy originally tried to floor her with some hard forearms, but Alex kipped back up after each one, then landed a calf kick that knocked Graves off her feet. You could tell Darcy became frustrated around the time that she went for a tornado DDT, but Alex was able to keep her spinning and reverse into a spinning side slam. Andrews followed with an Elysium (Running Bicycle Knee) that knocked the wind out of Graves! / Clutching her chest as she got up, Darcy screamed out loud. This threw off Alex, who instantly fell victim to a spinning belly-to-belly. Andrews rolled to the apron, but now Graves was angry, and so she followed Alex to the apron. Once up, Graves kicks her to the midsection, Alex doubling over. The crowd watches on as Andrews is lifted up and given a piledriver right onto the apron! Alex tumbles to the outside. Darcy really kicks it into overdrive here, letting us know why she became the first Violent Champion. As Andrews tries to get to her feet, Graves smashes her head against the apron! It looks quite brutal. Darcy is all smirks now as she slides Alex into the ring. She even turns to the crowd and takes the time to taunt them as the ref counts. Andrews reaches her foot through the ropes, shove kicking Darcy in the face. It throws her off balance and she falls to the ground. It also gives Alex time to get to her feet, bounding off the ropes and flying over into a suicide plancha! Alex re-exiting the ring starts the ref's count over. Andrews helps Darcy to her feet, tossing her shoulder over and hitting a snap suplex on the outside with a sick thud! Alex helps her to her feet again, but Darcy tries to battle back. This pushes Andrews onto the opposite side of the steel steps. Darcy dives through the bottom ropes, across the corner and spears Alex down to the ground in an amazing looking spot! This also restarts the ref's count once again. Graves gets Alex up, sending her into the nearby barricade with a spinebuster! She reeled back, before sending her into the barricade again! Alex looks like she's having a hard time hanging on to consciousness, which is probably why Darcy chose now to re-enter the ring with Andrews. Just in the nick of time too. Graves rolls Alex over and hooks her leg for a one...two...thr-kickout! Alex kicks out at the last possible millisecond and the place erupts. Darcy is not happy at all, furiously pounding the canvas. Still, she gets Alex up and goes for a Grave Keeper (bridging dragon suplex) but Alex rolls all the way over! She lands on her feet, now facing Darcy's back. It's the perfect position for her to hit Hella Rough (Killswitch)! Andrews rolled Darcy over and hooked her leg for the three count. WINNER Alex Andrews FINISHING MOVE Hella Rough (Killswitch) |
Main Event HoW Grand Championship Mikey Svarro(c) vs Holden Ross vs Ryan Samuels w/ Percy Blake vs Rumble Reyes The bell rings and our Grand Champion immediately rolls from the ring to the outside. He doesn't really want a part of this and we all knew that. Holden also knew that, and he goes to exit the ring and go after Svarro. Unfortunately he's stopped by Rumble, who stomps on him as Ross tries to roll from the ring. The stomps keep him inside. Rumble's stomps only last for a three turns before Ryan Samuels gives him a stiff shoulder block to the camera. Samuels grabs one of Reyes' legs, locking him into a single leg boston crab. Rumble tries to get out of it but can't. However, Holden pushes Ryan off of Rumble, knowing full well he can't let Rumble tap. Ryan breaks the hold but in turn pushes Holden back. Ross takes a second, chuckling, before spearing Ryan to the mat and going in with hard rights. Svarro essentially joins commentary as the three hosses go to blows. Occasionally both Ellie and Bash, our commentary team, would remind Mikey that he's supposed to be defending but he always brushed it off. We see a 'slubberknocker' of a hoss fight for a while before Ryan Samuels gives a hard spinebuster to Ross. Rumble tries to capitalize but rushing Samuels but when he pops up he gives a hard lariat to Reyes! The move excites the hell out of Percy Blake on the outside, and Mikey does not look pleased. Samuels goes for a cover and looks to be getting a three count when it's broken up by an axe handle from Holden. Their fight takes them to the opposite corner, tossing right hands galore. That's when Svarro gets a bright idea to sneak back into the ring, and he yells to the referee as he lies on top of his own bodyguard, Rumble. However, the ref count is too loud which alerts Holden. He leaves Samuels in the corner, breaking up the count by completely yanking Svarro off of Rumble. He hoists Mikey up, who is kicking and screaming at this point, before planting him with an H Bomb (Gonzo Bomb)! He hooks Svarro's leg but only gets a two count before Samuels breaks the count. Svarro rolls from the ring again, this time hurting. After more battling, Rumble Reyes has clobbered Holden over the top rope and gone with him. This lead to both big men battling on the bottom of the ramp, as the referee and Ryan Samuels look on. Rumble slams Holden's face into the nearby barricade, kicking him in the stomach and then posting him up for a MAG9 Powerbomb (Bad Luck Fall) position! Inside the ring, just as it looks like Ryan is about to join the fray again, Mikey jumps up into the ring with the HoW Grand Championship, smacking it into the back of the head of Ryan Samuels before sliding it out of the ring. Back outside of the ring, Holden slides off of Rumble's back! As Reyes turns around, Holden answers with his own powerbomb move - the same he gave to Mikey, the H Bomb (Gonzo Bomb) right onto the ramp! As Holden stands to this feet, the referee is counting the three as Svarro retains. WINNER AND STILL House of Wrestling Grand Champion, Mikey Svarro FINISHING MOVE Belt to the back of the head |
