LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena
HouseWARming cuts to some pre-recorded footage where Myra Rivers finds herself thinking about things. She’s in more of a thoughtful, retrospective mood especially considering the last encounter with the Lost. A deep, personal subject appears to be on ehr mind as she begins to express her thoughts.
Myra Rivers: Last time? I talked about how I lost myself giving into the darkness many years ago, causing me to do some very terrible things… things that the Lost seem to want to do as they remind me of what I once was. This time? Well, I’m about to talk about a different definition of “lost”.
Myra takes a pause, letting out a therapeutic sigh.
Myra Rivers: Losing yourself isn’t just about giving into the darkness. Losing yourself is being in that place where you wonder if it’s even worth trying anymore. I’ve been in that place before. In fact, I’ll even go as far as saying that I’ve been there more recently than I would ever want to admit. You see, 10 months ago? I was in a position where I didn’t want to keep up the fight anymore. I was shattered. I felt like I was done for. I felt like things were never going to get better and that goals that I strived for were never going to be achieved. I felt like… well… to be honest? I felt like the biggest, most worthless piece of shit in all of professional wrestling. I obviously knew better than to relapse back into that darkness. So me, being ‘lost’ as I was during that time? Well, I was tempted to do worse than relapse back into that darkness. I was tempted to be permanently lost and completely done with my childhood dream for good. It’s not something that I am proud to admit, but at the same time? I didn’t know what was next for me. Hell, I didn’t know if things would ever be the same or if I would ever see light in my career again.
And yet?
I didn’t stay lost. Somehow, someway, I found my way again.
When you are at the point that I was 10 months ago where you feel like you never want to wrestle again, it can be quite harsh and quite difficult to deal with. Of course, after my last encounter with the Lost a couple of weeks back, I didn’t come anywhere close to feeling this way, but the frustration was paramount. I did everything that I could and yet, the bastards still slipped away from us. I was definitely game. McKena was definitely game and hell, I am glad that I know for sure coming into this thing tonight that we’re on the same page. It certainly gives me a lot more confidence that we are going to put the Lost exactly where they belong. To say that I’ve been through so much shit in my career… well… that would be an understatement and a half. I’ve lost count of how many times my career has been on the brink due to my own personal demons and any inner darkness that was there before. But, it’s like I’ve said before, I’m never falling back into that darkness again. I’m not going to go as far as to say that I’ve “found” who I am destined to be in this business after all these years, at least not yet, but at least I also know that I can’t fall back to where I was before no matter how many times folks like the Lost try to put me back there.
Hell, if my absolute worst enemies that I’ve made over the years couldn’t put me back there, I know for a fact that the Lost won’t either. As a united front, knowing what I know now, I KNOW that we’re going to come away with a victory and I KNOW that the Lost aren’t going to stand much of a chance against the united front that we’re going to be. Then? Once we take care of our own business and we all go our separate ways most likely, this company is really going to see what I am capable of. But, that’s after tonight.
The task at hand is to make sure that the Lost gets put in their places…
And that’s exactly what we’re going to accomplish tonight. You can’t shatter me, Noah and co. You can’t shatter the spirit that has grown inside of me over the last 10 months from the depths of despair that I was in. You don’t get to define me as a wrestler or a person. I’ve dealt with enough of that shit over the last year and yeah, there’s some anger in me that’s built up for a while. I’m not going to tolerate it nor deal with people trying to define me anymore and tonight? You three? You’re going to be in our rearview mirrors!
Myra stands up and walks out, emboldened by her own convictions as the scene fades out. We switch from one scene to the next, as trusted House of Wrestling interviewer Yahamamoto is standing in front of a camera with the microphone.
YAHAMAMOTO: I'm here tonight with House of Wrestling Civil Champion, Davina King! Davina! Lovely to see you!
Davina King: Thanks, I appreciate it. Last time we spoke things didn't exactly go so well did they? But tonight I'm going up against two people who could be my attacker, with this Civil Championship on the line. It's simple really. They knew where I'd be and they stood the most to gain from injurin' me. But they didn't realize you can come for me all ya want, but 'Vina King is always gonna be gettin back up! Believe that! Tonight I'm walkin in with this championship, and then I'm walkin out with it!
She takes the belt off her shoulder to show it to the camera...when suddenly the same masked person comes from out of nowhere! She gives Davina an axehandle to the side of her head, followed by a kick to her gut and tosses her down to the ground. The masked person stomps away, getting a few good kicks in before running away. Yahamamoto calls for help in almost a replay from two weeks ago, as Davina winces in pain on the floor.
The cameras cut to backstage where the HOW interview set is. Standing there, with his trusted bull rope thrown over his shoulder, is the Midwest Nightmare, Ryan Samuels. With a scowl on his face, Samuels looks intense.
Ryan Samuels: Hot Damn! I don’t know who in the hell Holden Ross done thinks he is but there ain’t too many people out there that actively want to step in the ring with the Midwest Nightmare. Hell no. Most folks sit on their Twitter and throw some insults around but when it comes time to step into the ring, well that’s when folks become yellow bellies. Cowards! Pathetic. Now, Ross is different. He’s a different breed. He was the one who threw out the challenge and he’s the one who looks like he’s gonna actually step into the ring ready for battle. Now, I got to give it to him, that takes guts. The sheer balls on the man but it’s all a fool’s dream. Holden, we are gonna get into that ring and we are gonna fight but goddammit, there ain’t a chance in all of the nine hells that you will beat me. Hell no. Ryan Samuels was put on this earth for one thing and one thing only and that is to hurt people. To beat people so bad that their very soul breaks a bit.
Ryan Samuels holds up his bull rope.
Ryan Samuels: Son, I don’t care what I have to do but I will win. At the end of all this, you will remember who the man was that broke your spirits and who the man was that ended Holden Ross. Hot damn!
With that, Ryan violently swings his bull rope at the cameras as they cut to ringside.
We cut backstage to McKena Hardy pacing back and forth, her patented skateboard on her shoulder as she does so. She has a serious demeanor that is written all over her. A few moments passed before she turned toward the camera and started to speak.
McKena Hardy: Noah Ortega… Anton Palmer… Gio Moriello… You’re all marked men.
McKena held her skateboard up, the bottom part of it facing the camera and written on it in red marker? Each name of the three men in The Lost.
McKena Hardy: When I’m done smashing your faces in with this skateboard and coming out with the win with Jolyne and Myra? I’ll cross off each of your names and be done with this. Be done with all of you finally.
She nodded confidently.
McKena Hardy: And then? I can make my way to the top of House of Wrestling because to be quite honest? This shit is beneath me. I have more important things to do than dealing with three idiots who think they can do whatever they want. So, don’t you worry everyone, I’m going to take care of The Lost and then none of us have to worry anymore. And I know Myra can bring it. She has the most experience in this company, next to my mentor, Chris Night. She knows what she is doing. As for Jolyne? She might be more of a wild card but something tells me that she is trustworthy and will come through tonight.
Mckena pointed the skateboard towards the camera.
McKena Hardy: The Lost win with their numbers game but tonight? The odds are stacked evenly. They won’t know what to do out there without having the numbers game and with it being falls count anywhere? It means all I have to do is single out one of these fuckers, knock them square in the mouth with my skateboard and then pin for the easy three. It’s time to show just how brutal I can be. Let’s make someone bleed!
She grinned devilish before she walked off and the scene cut off.
We cut away and are shown several shots of the streets of Las Vegas. The real dirt and grime, and way too many people along the streets. The camera begins to follow different individuals, until it sees a woman with a lions mane of red hair. She turns around, a pair of sunglasses on her face and a cigarette hanging out of her mouth.
FAITHE: Since coming into the House of Wrestling, I knew that I wanted that Violent Championship. Maybe you all forgot, but while everyone had their eyes on the Grand Championship, I was one of the only people who had their eyes on the Violent Championship the whole time. My goal was never to make it to the finals of that tournament, and thus I didn't. Since you all seem to have forgotten that night, I'll remind you that Darcy also tried to cheat her way to victory that night. Not only did she go to grab a chair in our match, but then she also tried to cheat in her match against Alex. I'm just happy I was there to assist in blocking Darcy from moving any further when it came to her own goal of becoming Grand Champion...but man it hurt to see her walk away with the Violent Championship. That's why I had to make it known right from the start where I was coming from, where things lie. So it hurt that much more when she was somehow able to pin me a month ago and retain her title.
She shook her head in disappointment, wanting nothing more than to pretend that moment didn't happen. But she couldn't. It did happen, and she needed to right those wrongs. FAITHE reached into her pocket, taking out a small tweaker light and bringing it up to the cigarette hanging from her mouth. She lights it in one go, blowing out a huge cloud of smoke onto the camera lens. She continues speaking as people passed by, stopping to take quick puffs every now and then
FAITHE: Tonight, things are going to be different. Last time we went to battle in a first blood match, but really those kinds of matches stop you from having all the fun, don't you? Right when someone starts bleeding the match is over. Just because someone is bleeding doesn't mean you're going to be able to pin or submit them. So later tonight, we're gonna have all of these light tubes around and you're going to try to pin or submit me. Make me bleed all you want Darcy, but I'm not going to fall to you again. And that House of Wrestling Violent Championship will be mine!
She took one last long drag off her cigarette, before eyeing it. She blew the last cloud onto the camera lens once again, before tossing the butt onto the ground and stomping on it. It's how she imagined the rest of her night going as well, stomping out Darcy Graves once and for all. She cracked a smile, before walking off towards the MGM Grand.
Have you never had to fight for a thing in your life?
The scene opens up in a backstage area of the MGM Grand. There we see Alex Andrews bouncing from the to toe, hyping her self up.
I mean it, Mikey. Have you? Or have you cheated your way to every single accomplishment you've ever had?
She waves a hand in front of her, dismissing the question just as soon as she said it.
Alex Andrews : Actually don't answer that, I think we all know the answer to that.
Alex Andrews : But you know what? I have. Story time, folks. My first ever televised match didn't exactly go well for me. It was a tag match along side a season vet taking on a very established tag team. And guess what? I got overzealous and swing outside of my weight class and ended up losing. I didn't exactly set the world on fire. But you know what? I didn't quit. I didn't just throw in the towel at the first sign of trouble and I persevered. I dusted myself off and kept going.
She nods her head and flashes a smile at the camera.
Alex Andrews : Much like here, much like Foundations 1. I fought and clawed and made it past two very hungry women, maybe I had a little luck on my side, but I made it to the finals. Then you happened Mikey. You and Rumble Reyes. And everything slipped through my fingers...
Alex finds and takes a seat on a nearby production crate.
Alex Andrews : I admit, I was at a loss for a little bit. I was beyond frustrated. But I never gave up, never surrendered. I had to EARN my way back into the main event. Earn. Not cheat, not take short cuts, but beat competitor after competitor. Put boots to asses time and again. And with a little bit of properly timed help from a friend, here I am. So yeah, I know what it feels like to lose. In your own merits. I know that feeling well, but I also know that that feeling doesn't last and it makes those high points all the sweeter. Can you say the same, Mikey?
She arches a brow.
Alex Andrews : Have you ever gotten your hands dirty? Somehow I doubt you. You obviously like the trappings of fame and power, but never had to put in the work to get there. So that House of Wrestling Grand Championship and I would assume every other title you've won are just objects to you. Just a means to an end, right? The more you win, the more you get paid and the more you can continue to be a slimy prick? Yeah, needless to say, I want this. I know what that title and this match means to me. I know what I've had to go through to get to this point and I've picked up more than a few tricks along the way. I'm not saying it's going to be easy but there is no quit in Alex Andrews. This is your reckoning, Mikey. Time to pay the piper.
She smirks as she pushes herself off of the crate and begins walking off down the hall, presumably towards the entrance of the arena.
“Classy” Bianca Page and Darcy Graves are getting out of a black 2022 Mercedes-Maybach GLS SUV at the MGM Garden Arena. Fans are both cheering and booing at the sight of the two ladies.
“Classy” Bianca Page:Look at that, Darcy. They love us.
Their driver takes their luggage out of the car and hands the luggage to HOW employees.
“Classy” Bianca Page:Such a big night for HOW because it is a big night for the two of us. It is about damn this company is riding the coattails of us. Tonight Darcy once again kicks the ass of that weirdo Faithe in that Light Tube match. Seriously a Light Tube match?
Bianca looks over at Darcy who smiles and shrugs her shoulders.
“Classy” Bianca Page:While Darcy retains her championship I am going to finally shut up that self righteous train wreck who is walking around with my championship, get rid of that pervy creeper stalker of mine for good, and do all that while officially becoming the HOW Civil champion.
Bianca and Darcy walk into the backstage area of the Garden Arena.
Chris Night is standing backstage, finishing up putting some wrist tape on. He looked at the camera and smiled with a nod.
Chris Night: What’s up? I gotta say, I’m excited tonight. I mean, I’d obviously want to be fighting for the top prize but this? This is a consolation prize, the best one I’ve ever had. I get to fight Ethan Giles, a man of many talents and many masks. Someone who has impressed me ever since he walked onto the scene.
He nodded.
Chris Night: What can I say about Ethan except shower him with praise? He’s one of the best good guys to ever do it and this match? It’s a dream match for me, as much as it is for Ethan, who had my name on his list. After seeing that? I had to give him this match.
He smiled widely.
Chris Night: And hey, win or lose? Let's go out there and put on a banger. I know you can bring it, Ethan but so can I. And despite all of the years I have in this sport? I’m still in my prime. I’m 34 years young, and I’m going to do everything that I can to become the top guy here in House of Wrestling. I’ll be coming for Mikey. But first? I’m going to beat you and the rest of the roster is going to get a lesson from us. They’re going to see what class and sportsmanship is all about.
Chris walked closer to the camera and peered into it confidently.
Chris Night: Let’s make history, Ethan.
The scene cut away.
The trusted interviewer of the House of Wrestling, Yahamamoto, stands backstage awaiting his inside scoop like the perfect journalist. He's been through some tough times recently, specifically with the masked person attacking Davina King right in front of his eyes, but here he is about to come face to face with the same person. For all he knew, the masked person was even meaner than he'd thought, and maybe it wasn't even Davina they were after. He could be walking into danger...but he did it anyway. He did it for the love of wrestling journalism!
Yahamamoto: "Excuse me...excuse me miss!"
The masked person, now unmasked, stormed through the black curtain and into the backstage area. She rushed passed Yahamamoto at first, but he knew he had to fight for his spot as the industry's top journalist. He ran after her with his microphone.
Yahamamoto: "So you're the one that has been attacking Davina King! Why would you do such a thing?"
He was able to strike a nerve, the beautiful brunette stopped in her tracks, turning. This is one of those moments that could be very dangerous. But she didn't hit him. Instead she spoke into the microphone being handed to her. She wanted to make a statement.
Carina Vega: "Why? You wanna know WHY I did what I did? WHY I've been attacking Davina and ultimately cost her the Civil Championship? HA! You could ask her! Davina and I have history, plain and simple. Seeing her all happy with that smile on her face and that championship on her shoulder. That just didn't sit right with me..."
She yanked the microphone from him now.
Carina Vega: "Matter of fact, I just want you all to know that this is how it's going to be from now on. If I don't like something, I'm not going to be putting up with it. I didn't like Davina as the Civil Champion, I knew it was time someone else took over for her and actually make something of the championship. I did the company a favor, actually."
Yahamamoto: "And Ryan Samuels. Is he working with you?"
Carina Vega: "Oh that redneck that came out to the ring tonight?"
She giggles at the thought.
Carina Vega: "Oh please, he wishes. No! I'm simply a smart woman, I know my opponents. Davina and Holden Ross were all up on social media talking about how he was going to be her bodyguard tonight. Then I saw Ryan and Holden going at it tonight. It only made sense for me to hire Ryan to keep Holden preoccupied. Maybe my mask was taken off in the process, but I still accomplished my ultimate goal. Besides, the mask was going to come off sooner or later and this way you all can see my beautiful face."
She gets closer to the camera.
Carina Vega: "...and you'll be seeing a lot more of it from here on out. I am The Supreme, and as The Supreme, I control all that happen in this space. Bow down, bitches!"
She tosses the microphone down with a hard thud and walks off.
At first all we see is darkness, but the unmistakable sound of slot machines going off fills the air. Every different kind imaginable making every different sound you could think of. We are in Las Vegas, after all. The one place that better have a damn slot machine. As the visuals finally kick in, we see none other than our Grand Champion, Mikey Svarro sitting at - you guessed it - a slot machine. This is obviously filmed earlier in the day. He's wearing sunglasses, white jeans and a large oversized faux-fur coat.
Mikey Svarro: There’s been several people that have tried to put me away throughout the years. So many in fact, that I could never remember all their names. The point I’m making is that no matter where I go, I’ve always had someone, or a group of someones breathing down my neck and telling me they don’t like the way that I do things. Each and every time, they’re staring at a reflection of themselves, because all I have to do is flash my gold at them. POOF. Suddenly nothing they say matters. However, for me to say that would be me saying that there was a time previously when their words mattered. There isn’t. We’ll take the most modern examples, from right here in the House of Wrestling.
He opens the oversized goat a little bit, but just enough to reveal the HoW Grand Championship was still indeed on his shoulder. The very place it was going to stay after tonight, that's for sure. He adjusted the heavy gold plate for a moment.
Mikey Svarro: I win the one night tournament on the first ever Foundations and become the first ever Grand Champion. I bring prestige and notoriety to this championship, and when people find out that I have this belt, they immediately began to challenge me for it. Despite me going through just as many matches as she did, Alex Andrews felt the need to tarnish my win. She can tout her holier than though style all she wants, but acting like that never got her a World championship and you know what, it never will. Alex lacks the ability to see beyond herself. She’ll never break those chains. She’s doomed to repeat her same mistakes over and over again.
Svarro brought the large gold plate up to his face a little closer. Next, Mikey made a show of blowing hot air onto the championship and then buffing it off with his sleeve in order to shine his big gold championship a smidge.
Mikey Svarro: On the other hand, there’s me, who immediately had eyes looking at HoW. Instantly you had numerous people trying to get their shot. On the second Foundations, I defended against both Ryan Samuels and Holden Ross, who were simply people answering challenge back then. NOW they’re both roster members working for the House of Wrestling. Facing each other, in fact! And what a match it was! I’M the one that did that. Without me, they wouldn’t even be here!
Svarro slides in a few more quarters and pulls the lever again. For the first time since he started talking, you're probably noticing that Svarro has been pulling the lever the whole time. Not to worry though, don't feel bad. He talks about bullshit so much, it's easy to tune him out. Not to mention that Svarro himself is absentmindedly doing it.
Mikey Svarro: Chris Night too! Chris Night who just wrestled right before this, against a super special guest, Ethan Giles! You see, even more eyes on the House of Wrestling right now! Chris may have been the one having his dream match and brought Ethan this way to have said match, but I’M the one that got Chris here in the first place. Chris Night ended up here because he was yet another shmuck on twitter trying to get the Grand Championship from me and failing. I brought money as Grand Champion, and I brought even mor contracts than before. I can only go UP from here and you'll only bring this place DOWN as champion, Alex.
Svarro suddenly begins to get frustrated at the slot machine he's sitting on, and probably how he's not won yet. He begins banging on the side of the machine a few times, looking around to make sure security wasn't coming. He hit it one more time and the machine began making a jackpoint sound, an unknown amount of quarters suddenly dropping out.
Mikey Svarro: You all want to pretend that I haven’t done anything but cheat my way to wins. That I don’t deserve this championship. I’ve done more for this company than anyone else, and I think I’ve proved that without a shadow of a doubt! I am the champion you DESERVE whether you can see it or not. But you know what, I’ll prove it AGAIN tonight. Alex and I have already done this dance, and she finally got her wish to have us do it again. She may have pinned Rumble, but pinning me is a whole other beast entirely. I already have your number, Alex, don’t make me shame your career too!
He uses the same cup that he had been holding his quarters in, to scoop up a ton more into it. However, he pours them on top of the camera lens, while dancing about. Some kind of pour man's version of 'making it rain' we suppose.
Mikey Svarro: Listen hard!
We fade.
Myra Rivers: Last time? I talked about how I lost myself giving into the darkness many years ago, causing me to do some very terrible things… things that the Lost seem to want to do as they remind me of what I once was. This time? Well, I’m about to talk about a different definition of “lost”.

Match One JJ Nova & IZM vs Femme Fatale (Taylor, Maria Caruso & Sofia Papas) IZM and Nova make their way out to the ring separately, which is a small indication of the odds going into this match. Femme Fatale make their way out as one unit. It's JJ who has had his issues with Taylor and the rest of Femme Fatale the last few weeks, though he's more than likely thankful for the help from IZM. The three girls get to the bottom of the ramp, with Hans behind them, with IZM and Nova waiting for them in the ring. The big question tonight was how the Femme Fatale were going to rebound off the streak they've had lately, despite playing the numbers game against people like JJ. The beginning of the match saw Femme Fatale work as a team, getting quick tags and class double team moves like a double suplex and double spinebuster. The trio also tried their best to keep IZM in the match to wear her down, much to JJ's dismay. Eventually she was able to dodge a closeline from Maria and connecting with a german suplex. This allowed her to get a hot tag to Nova, though Maria was also able to tag Taylor back into the match. Once JJ was in the ring, all bets were off as he went one by one to knock them all down. Once he had kicked every member of Femme Fatale, he even launched over the top rope into a springboard DDT to Hans on the outside, effectively taking him out of the ring. The crowd was on their feet! Getting back into the ring subjected him to the numbers game again, and he had to battle through in order to stand a winning chance. The team of IZM and JJ really showed how inexperienced they were together, but had a good forward motion through the whole match. The new team of NovaIZM really begin to pick up steam when Nova strikes Taylor right across the face with a shinning wizard. He doesn't give her time to recover though, deadlifting her into a piledriver and then quickly tagging in IZM. IZM holds Taylor from behind as Nova hits the ropes, bounding back for a running knee strike as IZM hits a tiger suplex! Seeing that their leader needs some help, Maria Caruso lets go of the tag rope and rushes into the ring. Without warning, she eats a hard roundhouse kick that knocks the wind out of her! IZM is quick though, and before Maria can hit the mat, IZM launches into a backstabber combo! Maria rolls to the corner where she leans against the turnbuckle in a seated position. IZM taunts the crowd, before running forward into a missile dropkick to Maria in the corner! Caruso rolls out of the side of the ring. Sofia Papas isn't about to let this happen though, and she too enters the ring! Nova knows he's got to even the odds though, so he meets Sofia and cuts her down with a spinning heel kick. She chases after JJ, who runs back to the turnbuckle and kips off into a springboard cutter that puts Papas on the mat! Sofia tries to roll to her feet, but is struck back to the canvas by a running forearm to the back of her head! The crowd is once again back on their feet and Nova stalks Sofia from behind. Papas spins around right into a huge brainbuster from Nova, immediately followed by her rolling from the ring to the floor below. Now the only person left in the ring, and coincidentally the legal person, is Taylor and she knows it. Her eyes are wide as she slowly turns around, right into a gut kick from IZM. She lifts Taylor up into the I-Z-You Later (Double Chickenwing Sitout Scoopslam Piledriver) and holds before connecting. From the top rope, JJ Nova leaps into a double stomp that successfully assists IZM in completing her move for a most devastating tag team maneuver! IZM holds the package for the three count! WINNER JJ Nova & IZM FINISHING MOVE I-Z-You Later/Double Stomp Combo |
Match Two Siren w/ Sierra Rot vs Sabrina Mckay Siren and Sierra Rot make their way to the ring surrounded by the same mysterious green smoke that we've seen from them for weeks. They are nothing but smiles. On the other hand, Sabrina McKay comes out looking nervous as all hell. She never believed in curses until maybe recently, and even then she thought for sure she'd broken it only to find out she has to defeat Siren if she wants to break it. Still, she looks ready. Sierra takes her place at ringside and Siren looks almost straight through Sabrina as the bell rings. Siren instantly rushes Sabrina and lays into her with an array of kicks and punches that catches Sabrina off guard from the jump. Siren catches her across the chest with a high kick, followed by a second high kick, and closing the whole thing out with a spinning front suplex. Sierra isn't even looking at the match, but looking out at the crowd and smiling. She seems to know that Siren is doing well inside the ring without even looking. Now that Siren has Sierra by her side once again she seems completely rejuvenated. She's not letting Sabrina breath at all, and is on her at every step of the way. Sabrina goes for a high kick but Siren ducks, catching her for a rolling t-bone suplex! Mckay rolls from the ring and lands on her feet on the outside in an attempt to catch her breath. She walks with her hands on her waist, unaware of Siren walking out onto the apron. As Sabrina turns around, she is hit with a flying hurricanrana off the apron, that sends her crashing into the steel steps! The referee begins to count as Sierra wanders over to where the two are fighting. She begins to yell out obscenities at Sabrina, not planning on letting her escape without some punishment. Sierra makes Siren get Sabrina up to her feet, and tosses her into the nearby barricade with force behind the whip. Mckay yells out in pain as Sierra laughs and claps with delight. Siren goes for a front dropkick to knock Sabrina back into the barricade but Mckay moves out of the way! This sends Siren flying into the barricade instead, which stops Sierra's laugh instantly. Sabrina makes her way to the ring as the referees count continues, sliding back in. Siren takes a little more time, climbing to the apron and then being brought back into the ring by Sabrina with a suplex! This saves Siren from a count out but she pays the price, Mckay then going for a float over pin but only getting a two count. The two get to their feet at almost the same time, and Siren goes for a gut kick... McKay grabs her leg! She makes Siren hop on one foot for a moment, before giving her a hard dragon whip! Siren kips up and into the corner, clutching her leg. The referee goes to check on her immediately. This is when Sierra Rot jumps up on the apron, grabbing Sabrina from behind by her hair. Weeks ago McKay attacked Sierra, believing it would break her curse, which in turn only angered the duo of Siren and Sierra. Sierra chokes her from behind for a few seconds, before Sabrina is able to reached up and smash her forearm into the side of her head. Sabrina then spins around, looking to kick Sierra off the apron -- but Sierra Rot sprays out green mist at Sabrina! McKay can't see, and Sierra jumps off the apron! Miraculously that's when Siren's leg feels better, and she comes from behind, scooping up Sabrina into the Tears of Misery (Vertebreaker) that sprawls her along the canvas. Siren flips her over into position, before climbing the turnbuckle and nailing Sabrina with the Morningstar (Moonsault) for the three count. Sierra Rot enters the ring, the dangerous duo standing over Sabrina's body, finally ending their battle. WINNER Siren FINISHING MOVE The Morningstar (Moonsault) |
Match Three Ryan Samuels vs Holden Ross These two have been on a collision course ever since Foundations II, and here they finally are in a singles match. One of Svarro's open challenges brought them both into the House of Wrestling for the same match, where they ended up going toe-to-toe and ultimately cost each other the win. Two weeks ago we saw them throwing fists with each other once again, so as the bell rang we knew we were about to see a hard-hitting match. Both big boys rushed one another, landing a barrage of right hands to one another's side. They continue trying to one up one another using their strength, until Holden is able to toss Samuels into the turnbuckle. With Ryan's back to the post, Holden is able to lay into him with both fists now. Samuels has to lift up his left knee to push Holden away. Ross rushes back but rushes right into Samuels' boot. Holden staggers back, holding his jaw for a moment, before spinning back around with hopes with coming back at Ryan. However, Samuels has climbed to the second rope and leapt off with an axe handle! Ross is able to reach up and grab Ryan around his throat, blocking the second rope axe handle. He lifts Ryan up for a double-handed chokebomb...but Ryan chops his arms back down. Ryan whips Holden to bound off the ropes, not realizing that Ross would leap into the Steamroller (Monty Brown's Pounce) that sees Ryan Samuels fall to the canvas with a hard thud! Ross goes for a cover, but Samuels powers out just after two! As Holden is going to get Ryan to his feet, Samuels reaches up with a european uppercut! The strike catches Holden off guard, and he stumbles back into the ropes, bounding off and being caught with a spinning powerslam from Samuels! He deadlifts Holden into the same position, before releasing him over head into a fall away slam. Ross stirs, trying to battle back as he gets to his feet. Samuels has other plans though as he spears Holden back down to the canvas! Ryan hooks his leg, only for Holden to throw his arm up after the referee barely counts the two. Ryan doesn't look super happy, but he drags Holden to his feet, before locking his arms around his waist for a german suplex. Ryan holds onto his waist though, bringing him back up and trying for a tiger suplex, but Holden throws all his weight forward into an arm toss, only to yank Samuels back into a ripcord spinebuster! We see Ryan roll to the corner, leaning against it in a seated position. This gives Holden an opportunity to rush forward into a running cannonball! Ross gets Ryan to his feet, scooping him up from behind and planting him with Blazed (Running DVD)! The crowd cheer as Holden lays over Ryan...but Samuels kicks out just before the three! Holden is getting a little frustrated now, beginning a climb to the top of the turnbuckle. He jumps into a moonsault which is a sight to see for someone his eyes, but Samuels is able to move out of the way! This causes Holden's chest to collide with the canvas! Ross tries to kip up, knowing Samuels is going to try capitalizing, but he's still holding his chest. On the other hand, Samuels smashes Holden in the side of the head with a spinning elbow, which causes issues for his eyesight. He throws Holden's arm over his shoulder and gives him a quick snap suplex. Holden tries to kip up again, but he's easily feeling the effects, and eats a sitout chokeslam. This time, Ryan gets Holden to his feet, lifting him up into a rolling gutwrench suplex, rolling to his feet and giving him a second time. He completes The Stampede (Triple Rolling gutwrench suplexs) before hooking his leg. Samuels ALMOST gets a three count but Holden Ross is just barely able to hang on! Ryan punches the canvas, but instantly starts getting back to work. He climbs on top of Holden, giving him a hard headbutt. He gets Holden to his feet, giving him a few hard right hands, with Holden ducking under the last one. He's able to pop up on the other side of Ryan and hit a delayed hangman's neckbreaker that has them both across the mat. It takes them both a few moments to get to their feet, but by using the nearby ropes the are both able to get on their feet. They go to meet each other in the ring, Samuels striking first with a forearm. Ross staggers back, which allows Samuels to hit the ropes, bounding back with the Midwest Express (Lariat)! ...but Holden is able to roll out of the way, catching Ryan off guard with an H Bomb seemingly out of nowhere! But instead of releasing inside the ring, he releases early and sends Samuels flying over the top rope. Ryan hits the floor below HARD and the referee begins his count. Holden waits a few seconds as Ryan begins to stir outside. Holden gets tired of waiting, going to the outside and picking up Samuels onto his shoulders. However, Ryan slips off, sending Holden into the steel steps. Holden holds his shoulder, but goes back to battling Samuels! The pair get carried away, the referee counting the ten as the pair are both on the ramp! The bell continues to ring as multiple security guards are forced out to the ramp to stomp the giants from fighting. WINNER Double Count Out FINISHING MOVE N/A |
We cut away and are shown several shots of the streets of Las Vegas.
Match Four Elimination The Lost vs Mckena Hardy, Myra Rivers & Jolyne Ferolino The Lost have run amuck in the House of Wrestling for well over a month now, and ever since coming to HoW, Noah has collided with Mckena Hardy specifically. Naturally, the other members of The Lost had to get involved, which in turn brought an uneasy alliance between Mckena herself, Myra Rivers and Jolyne Ferolino. The tension between Myra and Jolyne specifically has been enough to cut with a knife. With the elimination match underway, all six members of the match are fair game for elimination, and we see a frenzy between all six going back and forth. After all six have been going at it for quite some time, Jolyne and Anton are the only ones inside the ring. She hits a flying implant DDT before jumping up to her feet again. On the outside, Myra has managed to hit Gio with a facebuster into the ground. She's backed up to the ring, where surprisingly, Jolyne reaches down below and begins pulling her hair! Jolyne is turning on her teammate! She laughs as she yanks Myra upward, Myra never felt easy around Jolyne after the comments made towards her daughter but this is ridiculous! Now up to the apron, Myra reaches backwards and hits Jolyne in the face with her elbow. She follows it up by grabbing Jolyne's face and jumping back down, connecting with a rope-hung choke. Unfortunately, or fortunately, she rockets off and right into Anton Palmer who lifts her up into a spinebuster which connects with a neckbreaker move from Noah into a sick tag move! They're able to pin her and eliminate her from the match. Mckena slides into the ring, trying to battle Noah but getting Anton in the mix as well, as Myra and Gio continue their battle on the outside. Mckena is not looking good as she begins to succumb to the Noah and Anton duo. On the outside, Gio has locked Rivers in an octopus stretch, but Myra is able to give him a modified jawbreaker to get out of it. Myra slides into the ring, giving Palmer a dropkick to the back of the head and sending him up and over the top rope. Mckena effectively gains her battle with Noah, tackling him up and over the top rope as well. That's when Gio Moriello enters the ring again, going for a spinning back elbow that Myra is able to thwart with a backhandspring! She kicks Gio to the midsection and plants him with a Spirit Breaker (Corkscrew Neckbreaker) to eliminate him from the match. Mckena and Noah re-enter the ring, followed by Anton Palmer, where the four begin to brawl. Palmer breaks up the monopoly Mckena seems to have on Noah's time, as he powerslams Hardy across the ring. Noah is also able to get the better of his exchange, giving Myra a hard backdrop. Ortega tries to bound off into a leg drop but Rivers moves out of the way. She jumps to her feet, giving Noah a dropkick to a seated position, causing him to roll from the ring. Anton has lifted Mckena into a bearhug, and she's giving him punch after punch to try to get him to release her but refuses. She gives him a double chop to the side of the his ears, forcing him to release. Rivers gives Anton a Rebel Stomp (Eat Defeat) and before he hits the mat, Hardy strikes him in the head with Jaded (buzzsaw kick). Both women double pin Anton, making him the third person eliminated. Ortega comes out of nowhere, obliterating Myra in the face with a flying knee. Mckena drabs him for a corkscrew head spin, tossing him into the corner followed by a monkey flip out of the corner. Hardy gets up to his feet, going for a springboard move but Noah reverses with a codebreaker that dazes Mckena on the mat. Myra strikes Noah as he gets up, trying to capitalize, but he springboards off the ropes into the Lost Hope (Springboard Roundhouse) and eliminates Myra. Mckena looks at Noaha across the ring, the two being the last ones in the match. She has fire in her eyes. Hardy tries tor rush him, but Noah flips her momentum into a cradle, but only gets a two count. Noah drives a knee between Mckena's shoulder blades as she's in the seated position, driving her to the canvas further. He climbs to the top rope, looking for some kind of moonsault. But Mckena is on her feet faster than he expected! She runs up the ropes, giving a backdrop off the top rope! But wait! She's latched her legs onto the turnbuckle, allowing her to flip herself upward and BACK onto the top rope. Once there, she leaps into the Outcast Splash (Frog Splash) to snag the win for her team. WINNERS Myra Rivers, Jolyne Ferolino and Mckena Hardy FINISHING MOVE Outcast Splash (Frog Splash) |
Match Five Aaron Asphyxia vs "Rumble" Reyes Rumble Reyes has once again been doing the dirty work of Mikey Svarro, and now it's gotten him into a match with the debuting Aaron Asphyxia. Saying Aaron is debuting is rather silly, seeing as how she has over 20 years in the business and years on years experience with Svarro. Reyes towers over Asphyxia, the size difference being far too great ignore. However, Aaron gazes upwards, looking Rumble right in the eyes and showing despite her size, she was not threatened. At first we saw a lot of Aaron messing with Rumble. Reyes is large, so he is notoriously slow. He may be powerful but he's got to catch you in order to execute those moves. Thus, Asphyxia was zipping and bouncing and rolling around in order to keep Rumble from touching her. She would springboard towards Rumble, only to tumble into a roll and rush the last bit to the other side of the ropes. There, she springboards once again, this time connecting with a wheelbarrow bulldog that puts Reyes on the canvas. Aaron ducks under the ropes and goes to the apron, before hitting a huge springboard splash! She hooks Reyes' giant leg but he shoots his shoulder up to break the pin. He holds her in the same position, deadlifting her up before tossing her onto his shoulders and back down for a huge somoan drop. He bounds off the ropes, going for a senton that would surely crush the much smaller Aspyxia below him, but she quickly rolls from the ring, making him hit the mat instead. As Reyes gets to his feet, she connects with a slingblade that takes him back down and as he's trying to get back up she strikes with a meteora in his seated position. She's effectively showing her skills, specifically her speed, and how it can be an asset against someone like Rumble. Against anyone, really. As Rumble gets up, Aaron tries to drag him into an arm drag but he plants his feet, not going anywhere. She tries again but he doesn't budge. Instead, he yanks her same arm in, before flattening her with a spinning side slam. He hooks her leg but she is able to kick out after one. He tries for a second pin, thinking maybe it was a mistake but again only gets a one. Reyes drags her upwards and into a suplex position, stalling her while up in the air and showing just how strong he is. However, Aaron is able to reverse the momentum, floating over and landing on her feet on the other side of Rumble. She reaches up and brings Rumble back into a dragon sleeper position! She doesn't hold it for long though, before giving him a hard kick to the side of the head. He rolls across the ring and onto his feet, where Aaron launches into a carwheel pele kick that strikes Rumble across the face. Now that Reyes is spending a little more time on the round, Aaron climbs to the top of the turnbuckle and spins around to face Rumble. Unfortunately he's gotten to his feet much faster than she thought he would, and he's walked up to her. Not only that, but while she's on the turnbuckle, Reyes reached with both hands and begins to double choke her. This lasts a few seconds before Rumble tosses her off and into a double chokebomb! Aaron looks like she's just had the wind knocked out of her as Rumble attempts a pin but she kicks out after a two! Reyes lifts her up into a gorilla press position, holding her high above his head, before launching her into the turnbuckle. Her head collides with the post and a sick thud. She looks out cold. Rumble picks her up, and Aaron's body is almost completely limp. Thus, he lifts her up into the MAG9 Powerbomb (Bad Luck Fall). With her on his back, he waits a few seconds, yelling out in triumph! This is when Asphyxia is able to slip through Rumble's grasp and slide down his back. She ducks under the top rope to put herself on the apron, and as Reyes is turning around, she leaps up into the Superstylistic (720 DDT) that sprawls the huge Rumble Reyes across the middle of the ring. Aaron is able to PUUUSSSHH Rumble over and hook his leg for the three count. The House crowd is impressed!...but quite unsure of what to make of Aaron Asphyxia and her motives from here on out. WINNER Aaron Asphyxia FINISHING MOVE Superstylistic (720 DDT) |
Match Six House of Wrestling Violent Championship 1000 Lighttube Match Darcy Graves(c) vs FAITHE The two make their way down to the ring and then glare at each other from across the ring. This is one rivalry that started on our very first show and has continued on through. FAITHE knows that if she can't get the Violent Championship tonight, she doesn't get another shot as long as Darcy is champion. Meanwhile, FAITHE has been a thorn in Graves' side until she got her to accept this match. Darcy chose a 1000 lighttube match, and thus we see an array of light tubes around the ring as the bell rings. The duo go at each other like two rabid dogs from the get, grounding one another and bashing their heads on anything. Elbows, forearms, headbutts, and everything in between, until they begin to throw each other in the corner simply to have the chance of bashing their heads into the turnbuckle. FAITHE lives for the striking game, and has slowly inched herself ahead of Darcy by her powerful strikes. She hits a hard kick aross Graves' chest, followed by a high knee that has Graves grabbing her nose. She hits Darcy with a spinning backfist which again cause Darcy to grab her face but doesn't take her off her feet. Instead, Darcy has continuously stumbled backwards and is now backed up against the ropes. FAITHE rushes her, only for Darcy to duck, sending FAITHE up and over the top rope to the outside and crashing into a light tube laying on the ground below! You can hear the shatter echo throughout the Garden Arena. The first light tube shattered! Darcy steps out to the apron and waits for FAITHE to get to her feet, small glass shards sticking out of her back. Darcy leaps into a axehandle but FAITHE jumps into a leaping calf kick that catches Darcy off guard, and sees her fall to the ground. FAITHE lunges forward, driving her knee into Darcy's head and the side of the ring. She helps Darcy up to her feet, throwing her into a headlock and looking to pick her up for a suplex. Unfortunately for FAITHE, Darcy is throwing all her weight to one side and refusing to be lifted! FAITHE tries again but cannot budge. She's about to try for another pull, when instead Darcy delivers a snap suplex to FAITHE right on top of the steel steps! There's a loud thud right before FAITHE yells out in pain and falls to the floor, leaning against the steps for support. After some quick thinking, Darcy walks over to one of the small piles of light tubes and grabs two of them. She puts them together like one thicker light tube, bringing it above her head in order to smash FAITHE with it...but FAITHE moves out of the way! The two light tubes collide with the steel steps and shatter into the air and somewhat into Darcy's face! Faithe capitalized by following it up with a bulldug onto the glass pile! This leaves Graves with tons of cuts on her face. FAITHE uses her time to grab a about five light tubes and place them on top of the nearby spanish announce table. The spanish commentators move from the table as she goes back to Darcy, dragging her to the table. She gives Darcy a few right hands, lifting her up onto her shoulders. But Darcy flips off! She lands on the other side of FAITHE and grabs her around her waist. She tosses FAITHE up and over her head, releasing her and sending her flying through the table with the light tubes on top! The crowd is on their feet at the carnage that has already occurred! Graves does her best to drag FAITHE from the glass, placing her on top of her shoulders and placing her on the apron. Darcy pushes her under the bottom rope and further into the ring, her blood smearing on the canvas. Graves walks around the ring, sliding in light tube after light tube in hopes of using them inside the ring instead of having to exit the ring. However, it backfires a bit as she slides in the ring and is smashed over the head with one from FAITHE! Darcy drops to the canvas on top of more small glass shards, and FAITHE attempts a cover. Darcy kicks out after two! The crowd boos, but FAITHE knew it couldn't be that easy. FAITHE sets up two light tubes in the corner, across the ropes so that they stay put. She goes back to Darcy, and Graves gives her a stiff uppercut to fight back. Darcy spins FAITHE around, locking her in a full nelson for a few seconds, but FAITHE is powering out. She reverses into an arm drag, and Graves rolls on the canvas, avoiding the light tubes. But FAITHE rushes her, and picks her up for a spear but more like a football player lifting and pushing the tackle dummies. She tackles Darcy right into the corner and smashes the light tubes as well! Glass shards are all in her back now! FAITHE rushes around the ring, quickly gathering up the light tubes into one pile. This is to both move the light tubes out of the way and to also consolidate them. Darcy hangs in the corner as FAITHE finishes. FAITHE walks back to the corner where Darcy is, picking her up and dropping her with a spinning spinebuster away from the pile of light tubes. FAITHE grabs her by the neck, smashing her head into the glass shards already in the canvas. The blood trickles down both of their faces. Darcy reaches deep within herself and slams her head backwards, reverse headbutting FAITHE. FAITHE is caught off guard and falls backwards off of Darcy. This allows Graves to get to her feet as FAITHE fights to hers. Darcy positions it perfectly, rushing up behind FAITHE and grabbing her for a Grave Keeper (Bridging Dragon Suplex) right into the pile of light tubes! She hops to the top ropes, giving FAITHE a Grave Diver (Swantom Bomb) into the glass pile! Graves lies across FAITHE's body to retain. WINNER STILL House of Wrestling Violent Champion, Darcy Graves FINISHING MOVE Grave Diver (Swanton Bomb) |
Match Seven House of Wrestling Civil Championship Davina King(c) vs Bianca Page vs Dashing Diaz From our very first Foundations, Dashing Diaz has found himself smitten with Bianca Page, despite her turning him down at every turn. Bianca has been on a warpath towards gold, which now involves Davina. Coincidentally, someone has been attacking her backstage - even tonight! Which she believes is these two. She's looking for payback as the bell rings! But the first part of our match turns into something of a handicap match. Diaz refuses to fight against his "amore" and turns his attention to the Civil Champion, Davina King. Bianca is smart. She's not going to rock the boat and make things harder on herself if she doesn't have to. She uses Diaz's...preference...to her advantage by focusing on Davina. She does a decent job of fighting them both off, but both of them was going to be too much sooner or later. Diaz lifts Davina up for a suplex, when Bianca hits the ropes into a crossbody, the two hitting a tag team move. Page gets King up but Davina battles back with a sharp elbow. Diaz is behind her though, rolling her up into a schoolboy. The referee begins to count, but it's broken up by Bianca. She looks irritated! She tells Diaz NOT to try to pin Davina. King, from behind, suddenly tries to roll up Diaz. The referee begins to count but Bianca breaks up the count again before giving Davina a spinebuster. Bianca yells at Diaz not to get pinned, before trying to pin Davina. The referee counts - but Diaz breaks up the count! As Bianca gets to her feet, she is irate, but Diaz is on one knee with a rose extended to her. He announces that he's gifting her the win and the Civil Championship if she will accept his love. Page, already angered, rips the rose up and lets the petals fall on the floor. Diaz looks absolutely crushed. Page has her eyes on the prize, turning back to Davina. But Diaz grabs her from behind! He lifts her up onto his shoulders for an electric chair drop, but drops her forward into a michinoku driver instead! The crowd is stunned as Diaz shows a new and aggressive side! He goes hooks her leg for a two count before Davina break the count! This is when Darcy Graves begins to make her way down the ramp, being Bianca's bodyguard and all. In turn, this brings out Holden Ross, Davina's newly acquired bodyguard. As the triple threat becomes a triple threat, they remain in their corners at ringside for the most part but it doesn't take long for them to start throwing insults. Davina puts Diaz into a chickenwing position, trying to get him to tap and even lifting him into the air. Page comes from behind with a stiff superkick to the back of her head. Bianca spears Diaz to the ground, following up with a ground and pound maneuver for the harassment she had faced these past few months. She gets up and walks into a flatliner from Davina. The three appear to be trading control of the match. On the outside, Holden and Darcy have both come to blows. Both had their own matches earlier tonight, yet both continue fighting. Their attention is on each other, until two more figures appear at the top of the ramp. One of them, Holden knows very well. It's Ryan Samuels, and he looks to be possibly aligned in some way with the person next to him. However, the person next to him is dressed all in black with a mask on as they were before. It's the same person that's been attacking Davina, no doubt! This is also a shock moment, seeing as how Bianca, Diaz, and Darcy are all down at the ring...who is behind the mask! Holden Ross immediately stops his fight with Darcy and heads up the ramp to meet Ryan Samuels with blows. They had a match earlier tonight, but it's easy to see they didn't get enough of each other! This seems to be the exact instance that the masked person was hoping for, as they slip by the pair on their way to the ring. Davina looks on from inside the ring, ready for them to get inside. BUT Holden is able to break away for just a moment, reaching forward and yanking the skimask off the mystery person. IT'S...who is it? A beautiful brunette now stands on the ramp, a look of vile and disgust on her face as she looks out at the HoW audience. Those that recognize her are shocked to be looking on the face of Carina Vega, and inside the ring, Davina looks at her with rage to her core. The two have history, and now have even more! While this has been going on, Davina has been leaning against the ropes on the side of the ring closest to the ramp. Diaz and Bianca, too, had been caught up in the drama of the rampway. That is, until Page realized now was the time to strike. While everyone's eyes were up the ramp, she catches Diaz with a lowblow and follows it up with a Lavish Lifestyle (Blockbuster)! By this point the nearby referee has turned around and drops to count the three. The ref is on two before Davina even realizes that a count is being made. As soon as the ref counts the three, Bianca slides from the side and to the side of her bodyguard. The referee joins her at ringside in order to raise her hand and award her the House of Wrestling Civil Championship. Bianca raises her Civil Championship, as Darcy raises the Violent Championship. WINNER NEW House of Wrestling Civil Champion, Bianca Page FINISHING MOVE Lavish Lifestyle (Blockbuster) |
Headliner Chris Night vs Ethan Giles Chris Night, the Las Vegas Legend himself, asked for this match specifically to have a dream match of his against the one and only, Ethan Giles. Truth be told, Giles had put out a list of dream opponents himself that also included Night, so a match between these two gentlemen was only a matter of time. Not to mention the added layer of these two men being among the exceptional talents currently training the stars of tomorrow! They shook hands in the middle of the ring and returned to their respective corners as the bell rings. The two men start by circling one another, going for a tie up lasting for a mere millisecond before a transition into a legsweep, followed by a crossbody, spun out into a waist takedown! In all honestly, both men were trading moves back and forth but as they darted around it was sometimes difficult for your mind to catch up with what your eyes were seeing! Night is able to land a crescent kick across Ethan's chest. Giles rolls through, delivering an expert hip toss as Night ran towards him. Chris rolled to his side and through the hip toss, kipping up towards the ropes into a springboard. However, Giles is expecting it, and Chris springboards right into a facebreaker! Night rolls under the bottom rope and to the apron to catch his breath, but Giles is on him like white on rice. He ducks under the second rope and walks out onto the apron himself. He grabs Chris' head, bringing him to his feet. However Night begins to throw right hands at Giles, wearing him down little by little. Ethan goes for an overhead punch, but it's caught by Night! He uses Ethan's caught arm to yank him into a DDT position, before he leaps into a front-flip DDT on the apron!! The crowd begin their THIS IS WRESTLING chants as the two men tumble to the ground below. The ref begins his count, with Night rolling away from Ethan and towards the ramp. Giles is able to use the steps to his advantage in getting to his feet, but he's clearly feeling the effects. Giles sits on the apron as Night lunges forward, striking him in the forehead with his forearm! Ethan tumbles through the bottom rope, across the corner, and under the bottom rope to crash to the outside again. This also effectively restarts the count for him, and then Night as he steps up into the ring. Night uses this time to catch his breath a little, Giles doing the came on the ground across the corner. Without warning, Ethan leaps back up onto the apron and springboards into an arm drag. Chris rolls through but his back collides with the turnbuckle post. He winces with pain, but he has no time to think about it as Giles hops on him, flipping over into a monkey flip...but Chris is so aerodynamic, he tosses his weight in the air and lands on his feet! As they both spin around, Night kicks Giles in the gut before throwing his arm over his shoulder. He quickly takes him up and over with a snap suplex! He holds onto Ethan though, twisting his hips and bringing them to their feet. Again he goes up and over for a snap suplex! Again he twists his hips, bringing the duo to their feet once again. Night looks as if he's about to deliver a third and final snap suplex, but instead he lifts Ethan up and strikes with a hard knee! But wait! He keeps hold of Ethan's wrist, dragging him to his feet once again, but this time to hit the Knee'd to Sleep (Wristlock into a jumping high knee). Night's knee echoes off of Ethan's head! He's on dream street, crumbling to the canvas! Night covers Ethan, but is only able to get a two count right now! Both men are wearing down a bit now, but the House crowd is absolutely loving the show! The entire House is on their feet, hollering at their favorite between either men to get to their feet! Again, they reach their feet about the same time. Night tries for a repeat in striking with the gut kick, but Giles is expecting it. He grabs Chris' foot! In response, Night, steps up with an enziguri that lands right across Ethan's face! Night goes to follow it up with a dropkick, but Giles sees it coming! He leaps into the air and uses Night's momentum against him, reversing his dropkick mid-air into a backstabber on the way down! The ingenuity from these men is what is really exciting to watch! Night staggers to his feet, holding his back in pain and stumbles right into the Piggyback Ride (Airplane Spin). The crowd cheers as the referee counts One...Two...Thkickout! Chris Night throws his shoulder up!! The whole place is igniting in surprise, and wonder! They want to see more! Inside the ring, Ethan's eyes are as wide as all hell, and you can only see Chris' eyes from the side but even HE looks amazed that he was able to kick out of that! Chris is using the nearby ropes to help him to his feet when Ethan grabs him from behind in a headlock. Night leans forward and grabs the ropes, forcing Ethan to let go. This puts them on a more even playing field. Giles rushes forward with a closeline but misses due to Night ducking. Night follows up with a pele kick that catches Ethan across the eyes. Night attempts a rolling thunder but Ethan rolls out of the way, causing Night's senton to connect with the open canvas. As Night gets to his feet, he spins around and is put into a firemans carry from Ethan. Giles spins around, before dropping Chris on his back. He yanks Night back to his feet, applying a bearhug from a few seconds. Night yells out, mustering all the strength he can to try escaping. Ethan realizes he's slipping, and instead spins the bearhug into a belly-to-belly! Ethan is unable to try for a pin because they are so close to the ropes, so Giles moves Chris towards the middle of the ring. He goes to grab Chris' leg, likely for a hook pin, but Night kicks him away! Chris leaps up, taking Ethan down with a slingblade! Ethan kips up as fast as he can, albeit not as fast as he could at the beginning of the match, and as he gets onto his knees, eats a famouser from Night! Chris looks like he's gaining momentum and feeding off the energy of the crowd. Ethan is already on his way back to his feet, but Night helps him the rest of the way before whipping him to the turnbuckle. But Ethan reverses! He sends Chris to the corner instead. Giles lifts Night up onto the top turnbuckle before climbing to the top himself. He's about to leap into a frankensteiner...but Chris holds on! Ethan can't get enough momentum and leg strength to take Night off the turnbuckle for the frankensteiner! Night uses all strength he has left to liiiiffftttt Ethan up into a release powerbomb from the top rope! This leaves Night still on the top rope, beads of sweat dripping down his forehead! He JUMPS into the Nightmare Splash (Five Star Frog Splash)... BUT Ethan gets his legs up! Chris' gut collides directly with Giles' double knees with force! The crowd is deafening at this point as both men get to their feet, Night clutching his gut in pain. Thus, he falls victim to Giles scooping him up for the Hug Speed Warp 9 (Black Hole Slam)!! Ethan hooks both of Night's legs, as the referee finally counts the three! Ethan's hand is raised, but as Chris gets to his feet, they can't help but shake hands. Ethan raises Night's hand in the center of the ring and they thank each other for a great match. WINNER Ethan Giles FINISHING MOVE Hug Speed Warp 9 (Black Hole Slam) |
We fade.
Main Event House of Wrestling Grand Championship Mikey Svarro(c) vs Alex Andrews Svarro holds the Grand Championship high, taunting Alex before the bell rings. The House crowd has spoken loudly about feeling Alex Andrews should've won in the original tournament and should've been the Grand Champion all along. Mikey has other opinions on the matter, but it feels right that the collision course has lead us to here and now. Alex goes to meet Svarro in the middle of the ring for a tie up and he refuses. Then and there, Andrews should've recalled that a match against Mikey wasn't going to be her typical match. Andrews continued trying to have an actual match with Svarro, only to have Mikey slip out of her grasp in some way. At one point, he slid from the ring completely and went to the outside. The referee began his count, and Alex caught on to what Mikey was doing. She quickly ran to the other side of the ring and cut him off at the pass, forcing him back into the ring. He was not happy. Once back in the ring, Alex would use her speed to trap Mikey in a combo involving an arm drag, a short-arm lariat, and yanking him back up by his arm for a wrist-clutch northern lights suplex! She keeps hold of his waist though, rolling through and giving him a second northern lights suplex! She's already showcasing what a skilled and talented wrestler she is! She bridges, but Svarro is able to kick out after a count of one. Alex pushes herself back up on her feet, when Svarro reaches up and trips her, bringing her down into a schoolboy pin. Luckily she's able to kick out after just a one. She follows it up by hitting the ropes and colliding with Svarro's mouth with a basement dropkick. She gets Svarro up to his feet, before bringing him right back to the canvas with a leg lariat. Alex is on a roll when she grabs Mikey's legs and locks him in a texas cloverleaf! Mikey yells out in pain, reaching towards the bottom rope with all his might! Andrews tries to apply more pressure, but unfortunately, Mikey is able to reach the bottom rope. Andrews lets go with honor as soon as the referee begins the count. Of course, Mikey takes advantage of this by immediately rushing forward with a forearm. He mounts her, giving her a ground and pound hooks as much as he can, despite Alex putting up her arms in defense mode. Alex is able to spin him off, catching him from behind again, this time with a hard russian legsweep. Alex tried a couple more times to get some sort of pin on Mikey, but to no avail. She may not have been getting the three count, but she was surely wearing him down with every chance she got. On the other hand, Svarro wasn't making many offensive moves and had resorted to mostly defense. Naturally, he also had his quick cradle and rollup pins but Alex was able to power out of them and eventually came to expect them from Mikey. Instead, she'd kick him away when he would reach out for her foot, and the like. Towards the end of the match, Svarro began to climb to the top rope for some odd reason. Of course Alex met him up there with right hands, stopping him in his tracks. She clutched him from behind, but Mikey gave her a couple of hard elbows to the head and caused her to release. Instead, he grabbed her by the waist, spun around and leapt into a falling belly-to-belly! The crowd begins to get loud, especially with boos as Svarro pins Andrews...but the boos turn to cheers and Andrews kicks out! Svarro pounds the canvas with his hand. He's NOT happy! He flips Alex back over and tries for another pin, but this time Alex kicks out only after a one. Svarro gets her up to her feet and whips her across the ring. However, she throws her weight to wear she's able to reverse it, sending Mikey across the ring instead. Instead of staying put though, Alex runs the opposite direction, bounding back and planting Mikey with a FALCON PUNCH (Superman Punch)! Svarro hits the canvas hard, and Andrews tries for a pin. One...Two...Thr-kickout! The Grand Champion somehow gets his shoulder up! ...but would he be Grand Champion for long? The House crowd is also on their feet in amazement, believing for sure that the fan favorite, Andrews, had the win! A bit too close for comfort for Svarro, who motions towards the ramp. Alex walks up behind Mikey., grabbing him and nailing him with Hella Rough (Unprettier) to the sound of cheers! She's unable to pin him though, as moments later, Rumble Reyes was running down from the back! He slides in and gives the referee a closeline to the back of his head! That's when Alex realizes what is happening and she turns around right into a closeline from the behemoth. Andrews and Svarro, as well as the referee, are all still down when Reyes exits the ring for a moment, reaching underneath and snagging a steel chair! He slides back into the ring as Alex is pushing herself to her feet. He raises the chair above his head... But wait! Aaron Asphyxia has run down the ramp as well! She jumps to the top rope, and as Rumble raises the chair, she leaps off into a molly-go-round maneuver, also colliding perfectly with the chair and Reyes! The crowd goes crazy as both hit the canvas and instantly roll from the ring. The referee begins to stir...which makes the crowd cheer even more! "Al-Lex! An-Drews!" Svarro is just now beginning to stir as well, pushing himself up onto one foot and one knee. Andrews rushes towards him, nailing the Brain Death (Scorpion Kick)! Svarro is seeing stars and the entire MGM Grand Garden Arena are on their feet as Alex flips him over and hooks his leg for the three! Alex Andrews is handed the Grand Championship, and she drops to her knees with it in her grasp. She holds it high and the House of Wrestling chant her name as we fade off the air, closing HouseWARming. WINNER NEW House of Wrestling Grand Champion, Alex Andrews FINISHING MOVE Brain Death (Scorpion Kick) |
