LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena
The former Civil Champion stands in front of a black screen. She's decked out in her gear, and looks ready to go. Her arms are crossed on her chest, looking straight into the camera.
Davina King: I was the very first House of Wrestling Civil Champion. I was going to do somethin' with the division, make it into somethin' that people could strive for. Especially because at the time, the Grand Championship was held by a moron, it was my job to at least uphold the Civil Championship. I failed in that, in very large part to a very jealous woman who would start attacking me with a mask on...She cost me my championship, and then she cost me the number one contendership.
Davina King: It only felt right that I be able to get just a little bit of revenge for the amount of anguish you been causing, Carina! You think making you run around and pick up your clothes comes anywhere near the way you been messin up my life? Not by a longshot!
Davina King: You wanted a war, you got it. I'm challenging you to a one-on-one match, just you and me at Home Invasion. The House of Wrestling has been working with other companies as of late, so as long as The Commission approve it, I'll even put the Grand Endurance Spotlight Championship on the line. Give you something to fight for, huh Carina? Something to try taking away from me! Let's end this, and let's end this in style!
We cut from Davina, backstage to Jenson Idol right before his opening match with FAITHE. Jenson is the High Roller Heavyweight Champion, and he is doing a guest spot here in HoW, also located in Vegas.
Jenson Idol: Oi! There you are! You want a word from Everyone’s Favourite Idol? Well, I’ll keep this short and sweet. FAITHE couldn’t muster a shot at my championship in High Roller, so now here we both are, over here in HoW, so that this company can see what a REAL Champion is like.
He chuckles and shakes his head.
Jenson idol: I know right? And this opening match will be the most highly rated part of the show thanks to me. I should be offered a stake in the company for all of the revenue that my name brings in. I mean, you have some solid names here but they aren’t me. Myra and Chris Night? Solid but past their prime.
He nodded confidently.
Jenson Idol: But I digress. I’m fighting FAITHE tonight and after she has hounded me, week after week? I’m giving her the shot she has craved. And sadly? She’s going to be disappointed, just like she was the last two shows when she lost to Chris Night. Love, if you can’t beat Chris? Then you most definitely can’t handle me. See you out there.
He brushed past the camera to make his way to the gorilla position.
Madz did what she told everyone she would do. She went out there and won. Madz was born for this. This was her life. She won't stop until she has gold. Tonight Madz has a tough opponent Davina King. Now Madz did her research on Davina and she's pretty impressed with her resume. Tonight they only have one little problem keeping that roach away from the ring. By roach she means Carina Vega. Madz was scrolling through her phone when she heard the interviewer Yahamamoto clear his throat. She would smile at him.
Madz -
Hi (smiles)
Yahamamoto -
Congratulations on your win.
Madz-
Thank you. I try to never let my fans down. I always do what I say I'm going to.
Yahamamoto -
Well tonight you might have to let them down. You have a very tough opponent tonight. Davina King is a former champion here. She is the current champion in another company. Ms Lewis this is a match you can't win. Davina King is the face of the house of wrestling.
Madz would tilt her head to the side playfully twirling a strand of her long blonde hair. She was a bit surprised by what he said. He had now motivation for her to win.
Madz -
Wow yahoo that was not very nice. Don't you think I did my research on her? Like I know what she's capable of. But guess what Yahoo everyone has a weakness. I will find Davina's weakness. I know she is the former Civil Champion before she went and lost it to one of the page sisters Bianca. So don't tell me I can't beat her because I will prove you wrong. Davina is also a tiny bit distracted.
Yahamamoto looked a bit surprised by her response. Madz just stood there still twirling that piece of hair. She knew Davina was a little distracted right now having to deal with that flying roach Carina Vega. She did steal Carina bag last week.
Yahamamoto -
Davina does have a little problem. Carina Vega is a huge thorn in her side right now. She was the one responsible for Davina losing her title. Are you worried that she may make an appearance tonight during your match?
Madz-
Don't worry Yahoo I have a can of bug spray to get rid of her. She shows up she's going to get knocked down a little bit off that pedestal she puts herself on. Davina King probably should start focusing more on me because Madison Lewis is capable of ripping your head off. I'm a star just ask my fans on Twitter if they love me. Obviously Davina was meant to be a champion here especially if she lost it to a page.
Now Madz was taking Davina very seriously. But you know she had to add a little comedy into the mix. Madz wanted gold more than anyone she wanted to be the face of the company. She will do just about anything to get what she wants.
Yahamamoto-
You've been very quiet on Twitter this time around. Why is that?
Madz-
Yahoo silence is golden. I have a plan set in place. You'll just have to keep watching to find out. Davina I really hope you're paying attention to me. I know you have a little problem crawling around here right now. But she is the least of your worries. Because I'm coming for that top spot. The Madz revolution is just getting started.
Madz would smile and wink at the camera.
Yahamamoto -
Thank you for your time and good luck.
Madz would spin around and skip off down the hallway away. Humming the music to running up that hill as she goes down the hallway. She walks passed Chris Night, walking down the halls of the MGM Grand, a place he knows well after wrestling and running Inferno Wrestling and running #FSociety Wrestling in this very building. He catches the camera and can’t help but smile as he motions for it to get closer.
Chris Night: So many memories here for me over the last ten years. You see, it was almost ten years ago that I signed up with Inferno Wrestling, along with so many friends and foes I had in the CHZ, the place I started my career back in 2006. Inferno was always here, and for the most part? So was #FSociety, the company I ran for a year. MGM? It’s home for me. And that’s why I’ve been on a roll lately. I’m finally getting my feet back under me and I’m doing it at my favorite spot. The spot where I finally discovered who I am.
He nodded confidently.
Chris Night: My opponent tonight? Journeyman Phillips? He’s been doing this longer than anybody in this company, even me. He understands what it’s like being on the path of self discovery and also even reinventing yourself as time goes on. Philips? He’s had to keep on reinventing with age. Now? He gets a little desperate.
Night shrugs his shoulders.
Chris Night: It happens though. It just means I have to stay on my toes, because Journeyman has every trick in the book up his sleeve. Unlucky for him though? I know most of those tricks. Not only have I been wrestling for 16 years, but I’ve been training kids in this business for the last nine. Nightfall Fighting Facilities, my gym, is right here in this city. Vegas is my home. And that’s why this run here in HoW? It’s going to be the last great run in my career.
He stepped closer to the camera.
Chris Night: I love Las Vegas and I love wrestling, so damn much. I don’t plan on retiring any time soon, hell, I feel like I’m still in my prime. I still win championships everywhere I go. But it’s been a long time since I’ve won the big one. Which is why I’m going to go out there and make a statement tonight against the elder statesmen of this company. So Alex Andrews and everyone else at the top of the card? Keep an eye on this one. You’ll see how it’s done.
He smiles and waves at the camera before walking off and the scene cuts away.
The scene opens with Strike 2 Kill's Liam Richardson and Miles Watson standing in the backstage area, with Watson dressed for action whilst Richardson has a more casual look, spurring on his teammate who's bouncing on the balls of his feet.
Miles Watson: It's time baby, you know what time it is!
Watson pauses, allowing a smirk to take over his face.
Miles Watson: A fortnight ago we introduced ourselves to House of Wrestling by dismantling Femme Fetale... I wasn't surprised, nor was Richardson, we did what we set out to do, and in doing so we put the tag team division on notice, letting everybody know that we are that team... everybody else is posing as imposters and pretenders, when in actuality, we've been doing our shit, everywhere we've been, all over the world... and that ain't gonna end here, we're only just beginning! Tonight, it ain't about tag team action though, tonight - it's about The Technical Marvel, Miles Watson; going toe to toe against The Mammoth Amongst Men, Anton Palmer - and the Knockout Supreme, Silas Romero! Now I know that these boys, they've got their credentials - they've been doing their shit, respectively and paving their own path. But boys, ya'll ain't stepping the same way I've been stepping these last few months, and I'm only on the rise! There's a reason why they call me the Technical Marvel and tonight, the both of ya'll are gonna come to terms as to why that is... and when ya'll do, ya'll are gonna realize that when it comes down to it, there was nothing ya'll candy asses could ever do about it!
Once again he pauses, as Richardson hypes him up in the background.
Miles Watson: Tonight, House of Wrestling get's a further look into our world through the eyes of one of the best technicians in the game, and I promise ya'll you're in for a damn masterclass, no doubt! We ain't here to play games, we're here to run em! And we're prepared to run through everybody they put in front of us! We're coming for those tag team titles and soon, that'll be another title for our already impressive resume.
Watson nods his head with a grin across his face as the scene gradually fades. We reopen a moment later. Myra Rivers is seen sitting in the locker room with one of the crutches that she had on the previous show. While she has this, she finds herself in an amused mood. She thinks about the events of the previous show before expressing her thoughts on the task at hand.
Myra Rivers: Wow. Let me just say that the Civil Champion in Danielle Page is anything BUT civil if you know what I am saying. What is it with people like her that tend to populate the business that like to twist things around and play the victim when they’re the ones that were the instigator? Take two weeks ago, for example. So yeah, maybe I did pull a fast one on her. But come on. My ankle injury was never that serious. The medical people here did jump the gun and decided that I wasn’t going to be cleared for the last show. It was frustrating, I’m not going to lie about that, but I found a way to make it work out for me. But Danielle wants to act like I’M wrong? It’s not MY fault that she’s so predictable. I knew that if she was going to have the chance to try and take advantage of my situation, that she would.
And she fell for it. Hook, line and sinker. But hey, she wants to make herself look like the victim when she’s the one that tried to instigate things. What’s the matter, Danielle? Are you actually afraid of me? Are you actually thinking that deep down inside, things aren’t going to end well for you? I mean yeah, you won that Civil title and all, but you’ve got to be intimidated to some degree. Why else are you trying so desperately hard to make me look like the bad guy? You see, I knew a few spoiled rich girls like you. You’re all the fucking same to me, to be honest. I know you have your family and all that has the same last name as you and yet despite having different first names, the fact of the matter is, most of your lot if not the whole lot itself is all the same thing. And you know, I admit… there was a point in my life and in my early career where I did act a lot like you… back when I was sixteen that is…
Myra rolls her eyes while she briefly reflects on her younger years.
Myra Rivers: Thank freaking GOD I grew up. You? I think you’re the one stuck in the past. I mean, you can’t even insult me like an adult. How many times have people brought up my age and acted like it’s a weakness? Age has NEVER been a weakness for me. In fact, I’ve only gotten BETTER with age. I get it. Most wrestlers when they get into their late thirties start to slow down. But what YOU need to learn REAL quick is that Myra Rivers is NOT “most wrestlers”.
I’ve shown what I can do over the years. There’s a reason why I’m a 20 time champion, with another soon to be added at your expense. Tonight? You get to experience a preview of what that future is like. I don’t know how you and Darcy are going to get on, but McKena and I? I KNOW we’ve gotten along great almost from day one. We did our thing against the Lost and she and I are both extremely confident that we are going to pull through and get the job done again tonight. I’m only hitting my stride here in HOW, Danielle. Maybe you see that too and you’re scared to admit it but after being slightly overlooked for a bit, I know that things are only starting to get good for me. I came here to be a champion and a champion I will become again when our match comes.
But for right now? McKena and I are about to show this company why we’re more or less the dynamic duo around these parts. So get your Kleenex ready you basic bitch.
Because when this is all over? I’m going to give you something to REALLY cry about!
Myra delivers a wink as she tosses aside the crutch that she had used last week. She gets up and heads out of the scene and then the scene fades to black.
We see HOW Grand Champion Alex Andrews exit her car after she has pulled up to a parking spot. She walks around to the trunk of her car and pulls out her suitcase and the House of Wrestling Grand Championship. She sets her suitcase other ground, extends the handle as is about to take off into the arena when she notices the camera there. She pauses and tosses n title over her right shoulder as she begins to speak.
Alex Andrews : A triple threat cage match huh? Three of the biggest, most well known superstars in the company locked inside of a cage with the sole focus on winning MY Grand Championship?
Alex lets out a breath and smiles at the camera.
Alex Andrews : I must admit, at first, the idea of it was a bit daunting. Facing off against not one but two opponents with YEARS of experience over me. Aaron and Mikey have been doing their thing for who knows how long, and now its boiled down to this. Her versus him versus me. But I do believe I have something that they don't.
She pats her chest.
Alex Andrews : Heart. We all know Mikey would rather sneak his way to a victory, so no heart there. And Aaron? I can't really speak on what drives her, but I have a feeling spite might be her biggest driving factor.
Alex ro!is her head around.
Alex Andrews : While you've seen how badly I wanted THIS. How far I'd go and what hell I went through to make this dream a reality. But winning the title and retaining the title are two different things, but I know I have always the tools needed to come out still your Grand Champion.
She shakes her head.
Alex Andrews : But that's me getting ahead of myself, isn't it? I'm here tonight to fight against Diaz. And I do believe he's under the impression if he beat me in a non title match, he deserves to be in the running for a contendership. And I get his logic there, truly do. And at 6'2" , he casts a bit of an imposing figure over little old me. But is his head really in the game? Or is he going to flirt with the next woman to cross his path? What will he do the next time something doesn't go his way? These are all questions that have to be asked when Diaz is involved. But one thing I can assure you is, I'm of going to over look him.
She smiles a bit brighter.
Am Andrews : I've made a career out of overcoming the odds, taking out men and women much bigger than myself, picked up a few tricks here and there. Also, being the perennial underdog in most of my fights, I know not to underestimate anyone. So come on, Diaz. Think your charms will work on me? Think again, you're barking up the wrong tree. I'm going to show you EXACTLY why I'm the Grand Champion.
She puffs her chest out as he says those final words before she turns and walks into the arena proper, taking her suitcase along with her.
“Classy” Bianca Page is in her wrestling gear as she paces in her locker room.
“Classy” Bianca Page: I can’t say that I am surprised. I really can’t because just off my last name alone I have a lot of envious haters gunning for me but when you add that I am the reigning and defending HOW Civil Champion all the trolls come out of the woodwork. McKena Hardy, who I already beat, and my next challenger to my Civil Championship, Myra Rivers. That is just part of the territory. Which is why I knew I needed someone like the chiseled bad ass, Darcy Graves, to watch my back.
Bianca stops pacing and smiles. We cut away from the Civil Champion, and instead cut to McKena Hardy is pacing back and forth backstage. She’s dressed down in her ring gear and she has her new weapon in her hands, a small bat with barbed wire wrapped around it. She points the bat at the camera and grins.
McKena Hardy: Like my new toy? I sure do. But you know who will like it a lot? Bianca Page and Darcy Graves.
McKena swings the bat and then puts her hand over her forehead like she’s watching herself hit a homerun.
McKena Hardy: I won’t lie, I was more of a basketball star in high school and a skater. But I feel like hitting some homeruns tonight in the main event. I know Bianca is going to act up and Darcy isn’t such a great person either. Myra? She’s awesome, a sweetheart. I love having her on my side as a partner and I know that I can trust her.
McKena nods as she pauses.
McKena Hardy: Which is why I know that we have this match in the bag. We’re going to go out there and beat the crap out of Bianca. But Myra? When this is all said and done? I’m still coming for that Civil Championship that Bianca doesn’t deserve. As for you? You’ve been around long enough. You’ve been a champion many times over. It’s my time. It’s my time to carry on my father’s legacy.
She walks closer to the camera and leans closer to it before smirking.
McKena Hardy: But not just that… It’s time for me to create my legacy. Tonight? We win. Then after that? Bianca is mine. Don’t get in my way.
She waves the bat in front of the camera before she walks off and the scene cut away.
“Classy” Bianca Page: While the holier than thou girls like to think they’d be a cohesive unit as they look to tear me down. We all saw what happened the last time those two were in the ring together. They beat the hell out of each other to get the chance to step into the ring with me. Honestly if you two can’t get along all the time then you don’t have what it takes to beat Darcy and or I. Simply put, neither of you are qualified to do so and that is exactly why I’ll be Civil Champion for as long as I want to.
Air Raid Sirens blare through the PA system, and the crowd is on their feet for their favorite HoW man of violence. Holden Ross, the brand new HoW Violent Champion makes his way down to the ring, the championship firmly in his right hand as he walks. He gets in the ring, placing the belt on his shoulder and asks for a mic.
He starts by explaining the Violent Championship had been his line of view since signing his contract, and he knew he'd be able to outlast Darcy in their match together. Now the title is his and reign of the Bastard can begin!
He says his reign is going to begin with his very first title defense, against Siren for working her way through the ranks and recently showing her devilish ways. But that he fully plans on putting her back in her place in two weeks time, and showing HoW what kind of reign this will be. He ends by addressing the former champion, Darcy Graves. He says that Darcy mentioned originally wanting a Casket Match against him, and that stipulation was changed due to him not being medically cleared. At Home Invasion, September 23rd, Holden says Darcy can have her Casket Match, when she faces him in a rematch for the Violent Championship. He leaves it with a question for Graves, and says he'll be waiting for her response.
We cut backstage where Yahamamoto, trusted backstage interviewer, walks the halls. He bumps into two people with suits on, carrying briefcases.
Suit 1: Hello, we are looking for the CEO of this business...
Suit 2: We believe his name is Sebastian Blackstone.
Suit 1: ...or technically if anyone sitting on the Board is present here tonight, they'll do just as well.
Yahamamoto: Uhmmm...I don't know anyone on the Board, but Bash is commentating right now. You won't be able to speak with him until after the show...
Suit 2: Oh that's fine, we can wait.
Suit 1: We have a very important legal matter to discuss with him...
Suit 2: In regards to tonight's championship match with a Mr. Jenson Idol...
Suit 1: Where he defended his High Roller Championship here in the MGM Grand Garden Arena without a prior contract with High Roller Wrestling.
Yahamamoto's eyes got wide, this information was obviously way above his pay grade.
Yahamamoto: I...I'll make sure he's aware once we go off air.
Suit 2: Thanks so much.
We cut backstage, where our former Grand Champion, Mikey Svarro is standing in the hallway of somewhere within the MGM Grand Garden Arena. She's leaning against a wall, tapping his foot against the wall and seemingly waiting for someone. Just then, a door flies open, with Aaron Asphyxia walking out.
Mikey Svarro: Aaron...Aaron...Aaron. Just the girl I'm looking for.
Asphyxia both rolls her eyes and smiles at the same time.
Aaron Asphyxia: What do I owe the pleasure this time, Mikey? I'll save you some time. No, you can't stay the night, and no, I don't want to hear you complain about that tag match two weeks ago.
Svarro shakes his head.
Mikey Svarro: No, no, no. You misunderstand, Aaron. I didn't come here for any of those things.
She raises an eyebrow his way.
Mikey Svarro: I did come here with a small proposition for you. I just thought you may want to hear it, since you're in this main event at Home Invasion now.
She puts a hand to her chin.
Aaron Asphyxia: Okayyy, I'm listening Mikey.
Mikey Svarro: The way I see it, we're in a triple threat and should use those rules to our advantage. Alex hasn't even had a successful title defense yet, if she loses at Home Invasion, she isn't guaranteed a rematch. So all we have to do to get her out of the picture is have one of us win. Well, being in a triple threat, all that means is that one of us needs to lay down to have the other win. Then, we can fight over the Grand Championship all we want, and it'll be just like the old days. That's all you want right? To prove you would've won all those years ago in Bare Bones. You can't do that with Andrews the third wheel around.
She took a few moments to think it over, moments that Svarro was willing to give her as long as she agreed to his offer, of course. She sighed, turning to him with a smile.
Aaron Asphyxia: That's a smart idea, Mikey. I agree, that's the best way to get down to just the two of us. I accept your offer, so just lay down at Home Invasion and I'll pin you. Perfect.
Svarro rose a finger in the air.
Mikey Svarro: Well you see Aaron, one sec. I was thinking I should be the one to pin you. I've been champion before and I know how to handle all the events and media outlets.
Aaron Asphyxia: Oh you know I don't have a problem with the responsibilities of being a champion, I'll take the win, no problem....unless you'd rather not, and play fair.
Svarro was fuming.
Mikey Svarro: You're going to regret this, Aaron. You've always gotta make things so damn difficult!
He walks away as Aaron smirks.
A moment later, and Mckena has exited the ring, grabbing her baseball bat with barbed wire from ringside. She slides back into the ring as Bianca is beginning to stir. In the corner, Mckena stalks Page, looking to crack her open with the baseball bat, no doubt. Myra, who is still in the ring, doesn't look entirely sold on the idea though. In fact, she looks like she may be a bit on he fence. Of course she'd side with McKena over Bianca, but she'd need a bigger reason to attack someone from behind with such a deadly weapon.
She steps in for a second, putting herself in between McKena and Bianca, who is still on the floor. She speaks with McKena but the mics cannot pick it up. Myra looks to be trying to persuade Hardy against it, but McKena isn't hearing any of it.
Just then, a hand reaches under the ropes and grabs hold of Bianca's, pulling her under the ropes and to safety away from McKena. The person helps Bianca to her feet, helping her back up the ramp. We know it's not Darcy, because Graves disappeared into the crowd earlier to fend off Holden Ross.
It's Veronica Taylor! What??
Veronica Taylor has just pulled Bianca to safety, and helped her back away from Myra and McKena. Veronica has a bright smile on her face, brushing her shoulders off as the entire House reacts to her being here! Veronica Taylor has signed with the House of Wrestling! Inside the ring, McKena looks pissed! She holds the baseball bat against her shoulder, pointing to both girls on the ramp. Myra, on the other hand, looks slightly relieved she didn't have to watch Hardy go into darkness, but also concerned that Bianca has yet another friend here in HoW.
We fade out on this sight.
Match One High Roller Wrestling High Roller Championship Jenson Idol(c) vs FAITHE In the beginning, Jenson tried to keep away from FAITHE the best that he could, which definitely irritated FAITHE to some degree. However, she seemed a little more calm and a little more in control during the match. The Las Vegas Fever Dream was less chaotic and more focused, possibly having something to do with her visiting the Nightfall Academy recently. Eventually she's able to best Jenson into a leg lock, that doesn't last long, but it begins a period of physical interaction between one another. Even after a hold, the two wouldn't provide much space to one another. FAITHE jumps into the air with a leaping headbutt that takes Jenson to the ground. She jumps and lands a knee drop across Jenson's neck which has him grasping the area. The move itself is a little more aligned with the old FAITHE but we can't expect to her completely change over night now can we. Jenson milks the reaction though, yelling to the referee as he clutches his neck. Really he's simply gaining a little cool down time for himself as FAITHE crosses her arms and waits. He raises to his feet and FAITHE tries to rush him, only to get a spinning backfist from Jenson. The impact causes her to spin around, and a high knee placed to her back sends her into the corner. Jenson tries to hit a corner lariat but eats a knee to his chin. FAITTHE is able to spin him around, and she climbs up to the second rope. While there, she puts Jenson in a headlock, trying to reel back on his neck and choke him! She certainly didn't learn this from the Nightfall Academy, but it's amusing to see Jenson's legs kick and flail as FAITHE struggles to hold him by his neck. Idol's feet find the bottom rope and are able to stand on top of him. Now with leverage, he gives her a headbutt with the back on his head, right to her nose. She drops the chokehold and falls off the turnbuckle, hitting the apron on the way down and tumbling to the ground! We see Jenson in the ring catching his breath, again holding his neck, while FAITHE tries to regain herself on the outside. A few minutes pass until FAITHE climbs to the apron, where Jenson has climbed to the second rope of the same turnbuckle. He lands a couple right hands, before lifting her into the ring with a suplex! But wait! FAITHE reverses it and sails down hard with a reverse DDT that flattens Jenson! She stalks him, waiting for him to at least get to his knees, as she taps her right leg. The House crowd in attendance know what's coming! Maybe her time at the Nightfall Academy had paid off. Once Jenson is on his knees, she goes for the Holy Temple-Kick (Buzzsaw Kick)...but Jenson ducks! Her leg soars over his head, and she ends up with her back facing him. Not the best position to be in, as she reaches forward into a schoolboy, that gets him the three count with a slight pull of the tights! The House of Wrestling crowd boos him, if not because he is outside talent, as Jenson makes his way up the ramp with the High Roller Championship. He looks back and points around the audience booing him, laughing, before posing one last time on the top of the ramp with his title. FAITHE is left in the ring, once again coming close but ending with a look of disappointment. WINNERS Jenson Idol FINISHING MOVE Schoolboy |

Match Two Carina Vega vs Pixel vs Sabrina Mckay The bell begins and Carina rushes across the ring with a hard lariat to McKay, followed by another hard lariat to Pixel. She strikes Sabrina into the corner with a forearm across her chest. She starts climbing to the second rope on McKay when Pixel hits her from behind. Pixel delivers a backdrop from the second rope to Carina in the middle of the ring. Pixel follows up on that by hitting a monkey flip on Sabrina out of the corner. Pixel is trying to capitalize by going for McKay, but Carina strikes her in the side of the head with a right head. She twists Pixel's arm into an arm wrench, before bringing her down to the canvas with a high axe kick. However she holds onto Pixel's arm, twisting it again and yanking her to her feet to deliver a second high axe kick. Again Carina yanks Pixel to her feet, this time spinning her around and nailing her with a northern lights suplex. She bridges and tries for a pin but it's immediately broken up by Mckay. Pixel rolls from the ring in order to protect herself as Sabrina starts trying to land stomps to Vega. She's trying her best to wear Carina out. She rushes Carina and tries from a headscissors that Carina rolls through. Carina instead grabs Sabrina by her face and shoves her into the canvas with a facebuster. The two have met before and Carina isn't letting her forget it. That's when Pixel tries to hit a spinning wheel kick out of nowhere, and Carina is forced to abandon Mckay for a moment, to duck under Pixel's legs. Pixel hits the mat instead, and Carina bounds back into a basement DDT. Pixel's face collides with the canvas and she stays there. However, again Carina is thwarted from making any sort of moves as she gets to her feet and starts taking right hands from Sabrina. She lands three before bounding towards the ropes and springboarding off! But wait! Carina steps to the side and lifts her knee for a high bicycle knee strike right as Mckay springboards towards her! Carina's knee connects with Mckay's jaw and instantly she rolls under the bottom ropes and to the outside. Vega turns to look at Pixel, who is still lying in the middle of the ring. Slowly, she walks over to her, grabbing Pixel by her hair and raising her to her feet. Carina gazes into the backstage area as she nails The Crucible (Storm One DDT) on Pixel in the middle of the ring for the three count. Anyone watching would take that as a message sent directly at Davina King. WINNER Carina Vega FINISHING MOVE The Crucible (Storm One DDT) |
Match Three Davina King vs Madison Lewis The first thing these two women do is walk to the center of the ring and hake one another's hand. They've had pleasant interactions on twitter, and it looks like for once we're going to get a match not filed with animosity. The bell rings and they start with a test of strength that Davina wins. She spins Madz around for a belly-to-belly and keeps her pressed to the canvas. Davina uses her mat skills to climb on top of Madz, landing a few elbows, before Lewis is able to slip under Davina. She bounds off the ropes and hits a running knee to the back of King's head. As Davina gets to her feet, Madison runs forward, trying for a lariat but it's caught. King reverses it, nailing Madz with a german suplex that lands right on her neck! Davina helps her to her feet, before dropping her to the canvas again with a hangman neckbreaker. Davina holds on though, getting on top of Madison and transitioning into a camel clutch. Madz yells out in pain, trying her best to get out of the situation. Davina doesn't look like she's going to let go, but Madz is able to once again slip beneath Davina. This time she leaps up into a reverse DDT, before rushing to the turnbuckle and hitting a moonsault! She hooks King's legs but Davina powers out. All of a sudden, Carina Vega makes her way out to the ring, walking down the ramp with a smile on her face. She catches Davina's eye as she's getting to her feet, and thus Madz is able to capitalize with a russian legsweep. Vega begins to walk around the ring, thus getting Madison's attention as well. Madz looks to Carina yelling to her, and Vega yells something back. Now, Madz waits for Davina to get to her feet, saying something to her. King nods, before they both turn and look at Carina. Vega suddenly understand what's happening, just as Madz and Davina exit the ring. Carina turns and runs from Madz who runs for her head on. The only issue is that Davina has taken the opposite side, and Carina runs right into a clothesline from King. The new duo give each other a high five, before Davina sides Carina into the ring. Carina sits up in the ring, but eats a basement meteora from Madz in order to keep her in the ring. Davina grabs her, positioning herself behind Carina, before lifting her up for the deadly SHOOK (Glam Slam) but wait! Davina drops her finisher into MadzVILLE (Springboard Complete Shot) from Madz! The double finisher completely knocks out Carina in the middle of the ring, and Davina and Madz hold one another's hands high, as the House crowd cheers for them. WINNER No Contest FINISHING MOVE N/A |
We see HOW Grand Champion Alex Andrews exit her car after she has pulled up to a parking spot.
Match Four Silas Romero vs Anton Palmer vs Miles Watson From the jump these three immediately leap into each other. There's arms and legs flying all over the place. On the outside, Jewel, Liam and Gio all try to stay away from one another. Anton is able to gain a power advantage over the other two, who are much smaller in siza and soar higher and farther. Palmer is able to trade through Miles and Silas, until he goes for a double axe handle that Silas ducks! He bounds off the ropes and hits a missile dropkick that takes Palmer off his feet. As Anton is getting to his feet, Silas tries to rush him again and falls right into a spinebuster. But wait! Silas reverses it into a DDT that spikes Anton hard onto his head! He goes for a pin but it's broken up by Miles. Watson soars through the air with a springboard knee drop to the back of Romero's head. Watson goes in on Anton, locking hold on his arm and trying to make him tap with a triangle armbar. On the outside, Moriello is banging on the canvas for his partner. Liam and Jewel yell to Gio, voicing their dislike for him. Gio yells back of course, escalating the situation on the outside as Palmer raises Miles into a one-armed powerbomb! He hooks Watson's leg but Silas comes in to break the count with an elbow to Anton's back. He tries to follow it up with a barrage of elbows but Anton begins to block them. Palmer capitalizes it by throwing Silas into a torture rack on his shoulders! He applies pressure, trying to get Silas to tap but he refuses. Romero begins to land hard elbows to Palmer, eventually forcing Anton to let him go. Silas is able to land a perfect step-up ace cutter right after. He locks Anton into a dragon sleeper, but Palmer gets to his feet, transitioning Silas who is now on his back, into a backpack stunner! Just then, Noah Ortega rushes to ringside to join his disciplines. However, instead he gets Silas to his feet, whipping him hard into the nearby steel steps! Liam Richardsen tries to do right by running along the barricade and leaping off towards Noah!...only to get caught by Gio Moriello with a roundhouse kick in midair! The referee is too busy paying attention to Anton and Miles inside the ring to see what's happening, only for it to backfire on The Lost. Palmer is looking to give Watson a powerbomb, when he is able to throw his weight, reversing the momentum into a rollup! The ref drops to the floor to count the three before Noah and Gio know what's happened! Though they aren't as concerned, because they've cornered Jewel Chayse, Silas' girlfriend. She's a wrestler in her own right, but she's outnumbered. Watson looks to do right and help, but Anton stops him in his tracks. He grabs him from behind into a spinning side slam that floors Watson, despite the win. Jewel leans forward to land a right hand on Noah, but Gio reaches from the side and grabs her arm! This doesn't look good! Suddenly, "Wanna Tie Up" by Hanabie hits, and "Ace" FRANKIE FONTAINE runs down the ramp!! One of Silas Romero's NAMELESS teammates is here in the HOUSE! Frankie lands a devastating spinning back kick, which allows Jewel to land her right hand to Noah. Silas is now back on his feet, as well as the S2K boys. But of course, Palmer quickly yanks both Noah and Gio away and up the ramp. Nameless and S2K, while driving The Lost up the ramp, keep their own distance. Either way, The Lost back up the ramp as the crowd cheer for all 8 competitors! WINNER Miles Watson FINISHING MOVE Reversed Powerbomb Rollup |
Match Five Alex Andrews vs Diaz "The Dastard" The bell rings and Diaz immediately rushes Alex and tries to give her no room to breath. She's got off guard at first and falls victim to multiple stomps and right hands before she pushes him away. Andrews gives him a hard chop to back him up to the turnbuckle. It backfires as Diaz aggressively switches places with her, tossing Alex into the turnbuckle instead. He lands three gut punches to her before grabbing her by the hair. Diaz "The Dastard" yells something in Spanish in Alex's face. This new persona that Diaz has taken on is definitely different than before, not sure if it's for the better or not just yet. He brings his foot up to her neck, choking her against the post until she falls. While she's face down near the turnbuckle, Diaz lifts Alex's hand and places it on the bottom rope. Next, he places his foot behind it and pushes Alex's face into the bottom rope! The referee tells him to knock it off and intends to count against him but Diaz releases it. He goes to do it again but Andrews gives him an elbow to back him up. She quickly hops to the second rope, and as Diaz comes back she uses her legs to push him away this time. Next she leaps to the top rope before jumping off into a flying spinning elbow! She tries for a pin but gets a two count. Andrews gets him to his feet, grabbing around his waist and nailing a german suplex! Diaz is light enough. She gets him to his feet again, but he begins to fight back with an arm drag down to the canvas. Andrews uses the ropes to help her to her feet. Diaz meets her there, using the top rope now to choke Alex again! The referee yells to him again to knock it off and begins to count on his disqualification until Diaz lets go again. Seems he's trying to push the boundaries of legal. She gets to her feet and Diaz gives her a facebuster back down, followed by picking her up by her hair and slamming her face first into the canvas yet again! He's loving having the control over the Grand Champion. Diaz launches into a handspring move, that's countered by Alex with a leaping cutter! As Alex goes to capitalize, he gives her an eye poke that is seen by the viewers by not by the referee. She yells out and walks in the opposite direction, covering her eyes. The referee goes with her to help, as Diaz gets to his feet and takes the padding off a nearby turnbuckle. Both the referee and Alex can't see what he's done. Alex gives the referee her thumbs up as she comes back out of her corner, her left out slightly squinting. Diaz runs at her with multiple forearms, trying to sign it off with a spinning backfist. Alex gets hit with the forearms but ducks just in time to miss the spinning backfist! She pops up on the other side of Diaz, landing a missile dropkick right to his back. This also sends him right into the exposed turnbuckle! His noggin bounces right off the metal, and he stumbles out of the corner into Hella Rough (Kill Switch) from Andrews! She flips him over and hooks the leg for the three count. WINNER Alex Andrews FINISHING MOVE Hella Rough (Killswitch) |
Headliner Chris Night vs Journeyman Phillips The two veterans begin and are very cautious with one another. The experience these two men equals something like 50 years between them, and both of them know that. They were previously supposed to form a Strange Bedfellows team, and yet here they are facing each other. As they begin, there's no clear sign of who is in control, but Night is certainly as speedy as always. Journeyman is taking a slow and steady approach, knowing full well he can't move as he used to. Night is able to connect with a string of arm drags that takes Phillips into the corner, but he's unable to capitalize as Journyman comes out of the corner with a running forearm smash. He lifts Night up into a powerslam in the middle of the ring that gets him a single count. Phillips lifts him up into a german suplex that looks like it comes right down onto Night's head. Journeyman keeps holds of Chris by the waist, going for another german when Night sails over and lands on his feet. Chris leaps into the air and brings Phillips down with a backstabber, following it up with a springboard moonsault. He pins but Phillips kicks out. Throughout the match, there are various chants directed at the men in the ring varying from "You Still Got It" to separate and battling chants. Both men have been around the block, and deserve respect despite where any tendencies may lie. Journeyman has Night in a crossface chickenwing, the two of them flailing every which way as Chris tries to get out. Phillips bring him down to the canvas for some better leverage and to keep him from reaching the ropes. The change worked, there's no way out for Chris. He thinks fast, lifting his body up and over, forcing Phillips to lay down to the canvas as Chris bends his body in half. This means Chris is partially on Journeyman with his shoulders on the mat, so the referee begins a count and forces Phillips to release the hold. He reluctantly releases, as the two men get back to their feet. Night kicks Phillips in the gut and he doubles over. He flips over him to the other side, the two of them now with their backs facing away from the referee. Journeyman lifts one of his legs up, low blowing Chris through their legs, and without the ref seeing! Night releases, and Phillips spins him around, rolling him up, hooking Chris' shorts a little! The referee begins to count but wait! Night uses the pull of his shorts as momentum and leans into that, Phillips being overwhelmed with force and accidentally pulls too hard with Night's added motion. This flips them over, with Chris now on top with a bridge! The referee counts the three, giving Night the win in the end. FAITHE looks at her new mentor, Chris Night from ringside, and claps for his victory. Journeyman doesn't seem that phased by it, but rolls from the ring, knowing the two would have to meet again soon. However, one has to be drawing similarities between how FAITHE lost earlier and how Journeyman lost just now. FAITHE looks to him, and he looks back as he walks away. He nods to her, almost as if beckoning her over, before disappearing behind the curtain. Joureyman tries to roll up, but Chris reverses and gets the rollup WINNER Chris Night FINISHING MOVE Reversal Rollup Bridge |
Main Event Bianca Page & Darcy Graves vs Myra Rivers & McKena Hardy We start off with Bianca and Mckena who go for a tie up but quickly transition out of it. We bare witness to a string of transitions that has both competitors fighting for control. Between each transition, both try to land a few punches or kicks to their opponent in hopes of wearing them down. The turning moment comes when Mckena tries to launch herself upwards but Bianca catches her with a scoop slam. Before dropping her she spins around, planting Mckena in the center followed by a standing leg drop. Page immediately goes to tag her partner in, showing some great chemistry between the pairing. Darcy walks into the ring, picking Hardy up into a gorilla press slam, holding her high above her head. She presses her twice, before Mckena shifts her body, bringing her down into a roll up from behind. Darcy is able to kick out but it shakes her a bit. Hardy follows that up by bounding off the ropes with a spinning heel kick. She hits the ropes again as Darcy is getting to her feet and takes her down with a flipping lariat. Mckena bounces up and jump tags in Myra. Rivers comes in hot with right hand after right hand, before spinning Darcy around for an implant DDT. She gets Graves to her feet again, only for Darcy to knock her away and then down with a shoulder block. Myra hops back up again then, which is too fast for Darcy. Myra battles her into the corner, where Darcy reverses it, instead throwing her into the corner. Graves gives Myra a high knee and she crumbles to the floor. This gives Darcy enough time to tag her partner back in. Myra has positioned herself seated in the turnbuckle, so Bianca rushes forward with a corner face wash that has Myra's head bouncing off. She lifts Myra up to the top turnbuckle, and Myra kicks her off. Next, Myra soars off the turnbuckle into a perfectly planted missile dropkick. That's when HOLDEN ROSS appears at ringside out of nowhere. He yanks Darcy off the apron and the two begin to throw blows. He gives her a big boot which has her stumbling up the ramp. The current and former Violent Champions continue to fight one another, until Holden gives her a hard lariat that sends her into the crowd. Darcy gets to her feet, walking through the crowd, and Holden follows her. Bianca looks to her corner and realizes her partner is gone. Our match lasts a bit longer but Bianca cannot handle both Myra and Mckena at the same time, especially as the match goes on where their confidence as a team only climbs higher. Myra tags Mckena in but stays within the ring in order to nail the Spirit Breaker (Corkscrew Neckbreaker) on the Civil Champion, followed by an Outcast Splash (Frog Splash) from Hardy! The duo both pin Bianca together for the three count, and their hands are raised!
